Casa Encanto is truly a beautiful place: clean, comfortable, well organized, and full of thoughtful details. It is remote, but that is exactly part of its magic: peace, privacy, and one of the best views of Lake Atitlán. Without a doubt, Doña María is the person who makes the difference. She shared information, culture, and her love for the town and Guatemala in such a genuine way. Since all of us are hosts ourselves, we truly value hospitality that goes beyond simply offering a house. Future guests: we highly recommend hiring Doña María for meals. Her service fee is very accessible; just coordinate in advance and bring ingredients or ask her to help arrange everything. Also bring cash, as cards and dollars are rarely accepted in town. Casa Encanto is worth every minute and every dollar. A true million-dollar view.

One of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed in, beautiful clean house, amazing views and a great host and team, they all were all very helpful and nice and Maria was excellent, she made sure anything we needed we got.

Guillermo’s team (Daniel and Maria) were super helpful. From the start they arranged transportation from the airport with desired stops to eat and the supermarket. Always being aware of our location making us feel safe and welcome. They also arranged tuk tuks to local towns. One of the days Maria cooked a delicious meal for us and went out of her way to pick up a few extra things for us from the supermarket. Both Daniel and Maria were always in constant communication, making sure we had everything we needed. And finally, arranging our transportation out to Antigua at the end of our stay. Our check out was so easy, even insisting we just relax since we were on vacation. Overall, I would highly recommend a stay in Guillermo’s beautiful home. You get to enjoy beautiful views from every corner in the house, helping us feel relaxed and very much at home.

Our stay at casa encanto was the perfect get away from reality. Very secluded area but maria the care taker for the house made all arrangements for travel from the house to other towns such a breeze. Also her cooking and hospitality was top notch! Definitely left missing Maria!

In my 10 years using Airbnb, this is the best Airbnb service I have ever received. The host offered a private concierge service with coordinated drivers, tours, activities, and meals every day. The home itself was beautiful, perched on the lake with a gorgeous view, spacious, and clean. I would highly recommend this Airbnb!

We stayed at this property in San Antonio Palopó, within a new subdivision, and we had a very good experience. The view of the lake is spectacular, and the place is ideal for resting and disconnecting. The house is clean, well kept and as shown in the photos. Communication with the host was clear and friendly at all times. It is important to mention that the property does not have a direct exit to the lake, but the view and the tranquility of the surroundings fully compensate for this. Overall, a great option for those looking for peace, privacy and an amazing view in Atitlán. We would go back.

Beautiful House!! Views are incredible. Maria the House attendant is amazing. she coordinated everything for our group. transportation, micro buses.. tuc tucs.. boat rides around the lake.. massages.. As others have said she cooks amazing.!! Pro Tips: Have cash.. either Quetzales or Dollars is fine. you'll need it for transportation around the lake. small bills. : if you are coming from Antigua book the Micro bus Maria knows. He will know the best way to get into town and will have no issues going up the concrete hills close to the house.
