House with access to Laguna Yal-Kú and snorkeling

Mi familia y yo buscamos reencontrarnos con la naturaleza y tranquilidad para pasarla en familia, el lugar fue perfecto, con las amenidades necesarias para no preocuparnos de nada. Los anfitriones siempre al pendiente y la atención fue de primera. Recomiendo ampliamente el lugar y cada detalle del alojamiento fue perfecto, hicieron sentir a mi familia única y especial. Eso no tiene precio. Volveremos!!!

This is a great spot to relax. we actually came back after staying a night there. You can jump into the lagoon from the backyard. The kitchen is well equipped and Efrain is one of their excellent chefs who cooks for the park and they will bring the food over to the house for you. The staff are incredibly nice and spoke with pride about working for the Xcaret group.

The house was incredible and had everything we needed. the host was very responsive and the staff always helpful. We had a great time swimming in the lagoon and the pool. 100 percent recommended.

Hospedarnos en Casa Romero fue una experiencia realmente especial. La casa tiene una placa de inauguración de 1975 y es inevitable imaginar cómo ha de haber sido este lugar hace más de cinco décadas… sin duda, algo mágico. Está ubicada en un entorno privilegiado dentro de Yal-Kú Lagoon, rodeada de naturaleza, lo que permite reconectar con la naturaleza y desconectarse de todo lo demas . Es el balance perfecto entre tranquilidad y comodidad, ideal para familias como la nuestra, que viajamos con personas mayores y niños pequeños. La casa es muy cómoda, está bien equipada y funciona perfecto para grupos grandes. Aunque durante nuestra estancia la caleta tenía algo de sargazo y terminamos pasando más tiempo en la alberca, eso no le quita encanto: sigue siendo uno de mis lugares favoritos en el mundo. Mención especial para Christian y todo el staff, que hicieron la experiencia aún más memorable con su atención y calidez. Los hemos vistado muchas veces y Sin duda, volveremos

We stayed with a baby and a toddler and had a great time. The place is a bit quirky in terms of layout and style. We couldn't get the jacuzzi to heat up and the borrowed pack n play was a bit rickety. You'll need to lock and unlock the gate each time you come and go. Nonetheless we would love to come back! The ability to walk off our own dock to snorkel was really amazing. We saw tons of fish and borrowing the gear for the week from yal-ku was easy and worked out great. For arrival, look for the iron gate and signs for casa romero. After awhile someone should come out and give you the key. Overall this was a really great stay - lounging by the pool or taking a dip can't be beat. thank you!

Our stay was perfect. If you like wildlife and access to the best snorkeling in Akumal, you can’t beat this location. We loved it! If we weren’t snorkeling, we spent our time relaxing in the backyard area (patio, pool, hot tub, and the waters edge) enjoying the scenery and abundant wildlife. We would definitely stay here again.

It was an awesome place to stay with great location once we found it. I enjoyed the walk to town. Hot tub heats up quick, plenty to see and do. Great fo diving nearby in town. Snorkeling easy in lagoon, just walk right in.
