Our stay here went wonderfully. Communication with Yicel was easy and prompt. The place is really amazing. It felt like home. It has everything you need, it is clean and well located. The bikes available are very convenient for going surfing in 10 minutes at Colorados. Thanks for everything!

Comfortable and organized, ideal for a stay at Hacienda Iguana A bit uncomfortable that the wall of the space faces the restaurant and you can hear a lot of noise We had a problem with a bathroom pipe, and Jaxson was very kind and helped us.

I had a wonderful stay at Ryan and Yicel's studio in La Joya! The studio is clean and very comfortable, and it has everything one needs for a medium- to long-term stay at Hacienda Iguana. I was there for a solo, weeklong surf trip, and all I really wanted to do was surf, read books, and walk around the grounds of Hacienda Iguana and check out the many exotic birds, iguanas, and other tropical wildlife. The place was perfectly suited for all of the above! From a surfing perspective, La Joya is very conveniently located, being a leisurely 12-minute stroll from the wave at Panga Drops, and about 20 minutes by foot from the world-class beach break of Colorados. If you're in a rush to get to the surf, there are two bicycles available for free to guests, and they can get you to the waves in a matter of minutes! Guests also have access to the pool that adjoins the adjacent sushi restaurant, both of which are excellent. I would love to stay here again on my next surf trip to Hacienda Iguana!

Clean and well equipped apartment close to the restaurants, bars and shops area of Hacienda Iguana. It's walkable to the beach but would take between 5 and 10 minutes, so the pedal bike provided is a great way to get around the area. The pool area next to the apartment is nice to have too.
