The Space

Chosa Royale Retreat and Event Center is situated on a lush, 4-acre tropical property where some wildlife reside permanently, while others pass through twice daily—once in the morning and again in the afternoon. The retreat consists of a discreet collection of modern cabanas, suites, and rooms connected by elevated trails, bridges, open-air lounges, and ponds. These features are thoughtfully positioned to allow guests to observe animal activity that occurs around the clock on the grounds.

The retreat offers a simple and authentic experience, serving as an ideal transitional point for exploring the intensely tropical Osa Peninsula. It is located just 300 meters from the rich Pacific waters of Golfo Dulce and a short drive from world-class surfing beaches like Matapalo, as well as Corcovado National Park, Osa’s main travel destination.

The center accommodates up to fifty guests but also caters to individuals, couples, and small groups seeking privacy within a large tropical estate in a quiet beach town at the end of the road. The property includes:

Guests have full access to the entire 1.5-hectare (4-acre) gardens, creeks, mangroves, and forest areas. They also benefit from the local knowledge and expertise of the team regarding all aspects of life in the Osa region.
