We loved our time in Cabo. We booked the penthouse because it fit our entire family. There was plenty of space, bathrooms and beds. The air conditioning works well, thankfully. Each room has its own ac. Large living room and kitchen and 3 balconies. Great for cooking and dining. We rented surfboards from costa azul surf shop and stored them in the board locker. Good food nearby. Zippers is expensive but right on the water and within walking distance. There is a pizza truck near the freeway underpass. Pizzas are personal and about $10. We used the 3 hot tubs daily. Pool is amazing. Very relaxing. Not too crowded this time of year. We surfed most days and went snorkeling when flat right outside the condo. We plan to return. Stefani our host was very helpful and accommodating to our requests.

We stayed here for 8 nights and had an amazing time. We we're a party of 4 adults and 4 kids (9, 10, 12 and 15). Everyone learned to surf. The view from the penthouse was great. The kitchen was well appointed with two large grocery stores a 5 min drive away. The grounds were well kept with security guards on site that were helpful with local recommendations. If you're able to stay while the Thursday night Art Walk is happening in SJC than I would suggest hitting it up about 30 mins before the sun sets. The shops in that area are great and the restaurants had amazing food and service. The overall vibe of this location was "chill", no rush, no pressure. We felt very safe traveling and being out in public with the kids. Our son is on the spectrum and can get overwhelmed when he's overheated and all the staff/servers made him feel comfortable and assisted as needed to help ensure we all had a good time. We're looking forward to our next stay. CABO 2026

We loved our stay at Las Olas! The views are unbeatable, gorgeous from every view. The condo was comfortable with lots of space and everything we needed for the beach, to cook, and to just relax. Staying in San Jose Del Cabo was the perfect getaway for our family of six. Stephany was very responsive, helpful and gave us lots of great insider tips. Totally recommend!

In my opinion this location is unmatched in the area. It sits directly in front of one of the two safe places to swim in the entire area and one of the best surf breaks as well (depending on season). The HOA seems to be doing a great job maintaining the property - we saw cleaners constantly touching up areas. The condo is a a penthouse that occupies the entire top floor of the building and the unit itself has a spacious floor plan and easily accommodates up to 8 people (we were 4). And the VIEW is truly breathtaking. We had whale shows every day. We LOVED the property - what wasn’t up to par were the bedding, cookware and glassware, it’s all very used/old and lacking - it’s time for a very inexpensive and way overdue update.

The location is beautiful, the penthouse is as described, beautiful views and enough space for the family. They were very responsive with any issues, and helped us out immediately. The overall experience was great!

We loved the views of the sea from the bedrooms family room and kitchen. Having the beech toys and towels was wonderful. The pool area was lovely and so well cared for. We all slept well in comfortable beds. The beech felt so private and the young folks loved having surf board rental just a few steps down the beech. We would definitely come back!

Condo security was rude. This is not a place for kids unless your kids sit quietly with their arms folded in the pool. My kids jumped in the pool from the sides (no signs saying “no jumping”) and the owner received a threat of a fine. There were no other adults in the pool and they were playing (like most kids do). My 11 year old was not allowed in the spa so we waited for him to fall asleep and I went down with my 21, 18, 16 and 13 year olds. The security guard came up and said “I looked at your paperwork he’s 12, he needs to get out” First of all, very rude, second, he was 13 and we were following the rules and third, even if he was 12 we were the ONLY people at the pool and spa!! Give me a break! He then, very rudely says, “well you have to get out it’s 10pm”. To which we replied, “No it’s 9:53pm we have 7 more minutes”. So, my advice…this is an ADULT ONLY place with too many rules that don’t allow kids to play. Construction was also going on, with no warning from 7am-4pm everyday.

I'm sorry Mary had a tough time with security, however, I have a 7 year old and an 11 year old, my brother visits often with his 6 month and 3 year old, and we host families ALL the time. I can't advertise our condo for adults only when we're a family with small kids! Plus, we have a lot of families who come and stay with us annually...so I would be taking their family tradition away from them. There are rules at this property and security can be strict, which I don't think everyone is expecting in Mexico, but I think that things got off badly with security because the kids were climbing up the maintenance ladder for the elevator to the rooftop of our 6 story building. Security and our HOA complained to me a couple of times before I said anything. I think that she was frustrated, but the response I got makes me wonder that perhaps the response given to security might've made them a little tougher on this group than usual. I wasn't there, so I do not know, however. I do agree that the 13 year old hot tub rule is ridiculous...I'm not sure what purpose it serves, it surprises and upsets people, and it's more work for security to enforce. It sometimes creates a negative interaction between families who are surprised by the rule and security. One of our long time repeat guests had the best outlook on this, though. I commend him for his positivity, even though I do think the rule is ridiculous. He said that the hot tub rule at Las Olas is sort of a right of passage for his kids who count down the days until they are 13 and can go in the hot tubs at Las Olas. Anyways, I do email out the rules for the property to every guest, even highlight some of the things discussed by Mary in the email I send...and put a lot of it in the listing as well. The email that I send out to every guest before their stay tells them that security can be strict so please make sure to read over the rules for the property in order to avoid any issues. There are also rules posted at the pool. The listing also states at the top that August 1-October 15 is the remodel period every year, so there can be some construction noise/dust/etc from other owners remodelling their condos and to please message me before booking. That being said, this year has been the worst year in history for remodels at Las Olas....to the point that or HOA is changing a lot of rules regarding it. Since we're on the top of the building, remodels in other condos don't usually effect us much and usually by the beginning of October things have pretty much quieted down. So, I definitely do apologize for this. It has been extremely frustrating for our entire community.

The suite is great; clean and pretty cozy for a four bedroom. However, it’s the stunning view and right-on-the-beach location that grabs you and keeps us coming back!

Amazing views of the ocean, great pool and private beach access. 3 restaurants within walking distance but ride shares are readily available and inexpensive. Excellent restaurants in San Jose. Plenty of space in condo, but condo is dated and could use updating. Highway traffic can get loud with trucks during the day. Saturday music from across the road can be loud late at night. Stephanie was very responsive with requests and follow-up. Elvira also. We would come back. Cannot beat that view anywhere. Also it is one of the few swimmable beaches in Cabo.
