I Love Puerto

Second time staying at this location. Love the spot, close to many neighborhoods with small restaurants and close to the Zicatela strip for nightlife! The place is huge and beautiful. Pool was clean and great to dip into.

We had a group of seven (5 adults, 2 kids, and our dogs) so renting the entire property was the perfect choice. The location was excellent: close to the beach and several restaurants, but far enough from the louder beach bars to enjoy some peace and quiet. The pool was a huge hit with the kids, and the enclosed courtyard was ideal for the dogs to safely enjoy the outdoors. The host was responsive, friendly, and very helpful throughout our stay. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this property, especially for larger groups or families traveling with pets.

We stayed at Terri’s place for 5 days. She was responsive the entire time. A couple of days were affected by a hurricane. Terri went out of her way to keep us updated on the forecast and what to expect. The storm was mostly just rain but did knock out power for about a day. The housekeeping and maintenance staff still continued to service the property. We were able to continue to use the pool on the property during those days, and Terri even offered to give us access to a larger pool at a neighboring property she manages. The attentiveness of Terri and her team was unmatched. Families renting this property may prefer Playa Manzanilla (a short taxi ride from the house) rather than Playa Zicatela (just a couple blocks walk). The latter is a surfing destination and has much larger waves and a strong rip current. Even with young kids, we still enjoyed walking the beach and watching the surfers.

Very quiet little town- exactly what we were looking for! Waking up to that view and sounds of the beach is unbelievable.

We stayed for 6 days. We loved the house, it's just as described, two blocks from the sea, a 5-minute walk from the restaurant, the coffee is very good, and right on the corner there's a cafeteria with the best cakes and breakfasts in the world, El Adoquín is 8-10 minutes away by car, Mazunte is 40 minutes away by car, Agua Blanca is 30 minutes away, the house is beautiful, all the spaces have air conditioning, the rooms are super comfortable, many, many bathrooms, We didn't use the kitchen, but it has two super-equipped kitchens with a complimentary water jug, the view on the terrace is perfect, they cleaned the pool every day in the mornings, the workers were super friendly, the area was super safe, I left my car outside and no problem, I took my little Labrador and she was happy, she sat under the palapas and chatted with the iguana, the fact that they let her stay with us was fundamental because she's part of my family!! We will definitely be back!!!

I have stayed in many different Airbnbs in Puerto Escondido. I would say this is the best experience I have had so far. The location was excellent for walking down to Zicatela, but we felt far enough away to have peace and quiet (minus my kids yelling). The amenities were exactly as described. It was clean, comfortable, well stocked interior kitchen. One of the things I dislike about many of the kitchens in Puerto are the exterior kitchens many places have. I don't like to sweat while I cook, so it was nice to have the A/C or fans to cool off. The beds were not super plush or anything, but they were comfortable, and no-one had any trouble sleeping. The upstairs had a nice patio with a hammock too. The host was very easy to communicate with. My kids had a blast playing in the pool, and when they didn't want to do that anymore, walking down to the beach was super close. I would highly recommend this place!

Our experience at Casa Dos Palmas was excellent, Terri was always attentive to our comments and the house, in addition to being comfortable and nice, has a great location since you can get to places of interest such as the beach or bars just by walking a few minutes. Highly recommended!

A beautiful house, perfect for families. It is ideal if both apartments are occupied, as it gives total privacy. The sunsets are beautiful from the roof and the houses are very well furnished. We had a problem with the water, but they immediately helped us solve it, super good service from the hosts. We will definitely be back

Great place, good location, one block away from the beach. Big place, we rent all the house, so we had 2 kitchen, 3 rooms, 4 bathrooms, a roof and the pool. A lot of plant and trees, the AA work fine. Clean place.

The area is very quiet and suitable for rest, the house has all the amenities to make your stay comfortable. The staff is attentive to the cleaning and is very friendly. Highly recommended to arrive and enjoy a family vacation

Casa dos Palmas is a private paradise right in the heart of Zicatela. The pool area and rooftop with ocean view were amazing, and the landscaping all over the property was beautiful and very well-maintained. The location is unbeatable as it’s only a few blocks to the main Zicatela strip and a very short ride to La Punta. Checkin/checkout was super simple, and Terri and staff were extremely friendly and responsive to any of our needs during our stay. Highly recommended and we definitely plan on returning. Thank you Terri for an incredible stay!

Everything is very comfortable. The house is perfect for medium-sized groups since it has several private rooms and two kitchenettes. The cleaning service is very good and they leave the house like new! The third floor terrace is very comfortable for eating and enjoying the beautiful ocean view!

Terri was an excellent host who took the time to visit and introduce herself. We followed her recommendation on visiting an area and had one of our best days of the trip. The house is beautiful and in a perfect location for accessing La Punta or the beaches to the north. Highly recommend! Thanks to Terri and the rest of the staff!

Terri’s place is amazing. The home is clean and well taken care of. The staff who care for the property are friendly, helpful and easy to contact should you need assistance or have questions. The location is perfect for walking to beach or to restaurants, shops, and bars. Terri provides an easy check in/out process and there is easy communication with the individuals who care for the property. The home was much nicer than expected and exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay at this home again.

Dos Palmas was a perfect house to share with family. We all had plenty of space to be together and for privacy. View of the beach from the roof top, a block away from stores/restaurants and a fun pool.

If I could give it a 10, I would! The house is beautiful, spacious, well designed and looks just as advertised. There’s good wifi (which, we heard, is rare in town) and good A/C. We rented the entire house with 6 people and were very comfortable. There is one huge king bed upstairs, plus a single bed in the same room, and downstairs there’s two rooms with a double bed in each. Two bathrooms on each floor, which was amazing. It is equipped with everything you may need. The host is very responsive and accommodating. There is a cleaning service twice a week and they’re close by every morning if you need anything at all, laundry or an extra water bottle or soap. The staff are amazing, very friendly and not intrusive. One word of advice, if you walk to and from town at night, use Calle Jacarandas, it’s much better lit and feels a lot safer than the street that goes down to the beach. During the day it’s no issue at all. We love coming back to Puerto Escondido!

Terri’s place is absolutely amazing. Location, the house itself including incredible ocean views, cleanliness snd amenities. It has everything you need and more for your stay in Puerto. I won’t be looking anywhere else next time I’m in Puerto.
