100% not worth it! 1. The front desk lady walked us through the villa and all the rules and NEVER brought up that towels are not allowed to have any marks on them. Upon check out when we were walking through the property with the host they mentioned a few towels had makeup on them and we would be charged $20 total for it. Fine I suppose but we figured a face towel was fine to dry our face with after a shower. When we had left and checked out they tried to charge $64 for the towels and said all 7 were stained... two of the girls don’t wear makeup. I did not consent to the charge but they still proceeded. We believe they were trying to take advantage because we are young women. 2. the downstairs bathroom leads to the outside and you can’t lock the door that leads into the room which made us feel incredibly unsafe as anyone could enter. Oddly enough in order to lock the front door you have to use the key and lock yourself in from the inside which added more to the safety concerns.

Ok, i NEVER do reviews. Una Vida villa was so perfect for our wedding party to stay at. Their customer service is absolute top notch. I was a little worried about the location as it is down town Tulum but it was so remote and relaxing. It is best to rent a car though if you plan to go to the beach road a lot. We had other friends stay in the hotel rooms at una Vida and no one had anything but great things to say. My husband and I moved to mi amor on beach road for our honey moon and it was nice too, but we both agreed that if we come back we will stay at una Vida or their sister hotel again. Thank you Artie and Daniella for making us feel like family!
