We had a wonderful stay for a few days over New Years. Byron's home is very special -- beautifully decorated with many personal touches. We really appreciated how private the home is, and of course the view from the pool. This is a great place for a small group to gather and enjoy time together and home cooked meals.

The home is beautiful and the view is so nice. We felt very safe and comfortable. Backyard is a peaceful haven. Would highly recommend and would stay again. The location is up a steep road and you go through a small village on the opposite side of the highway from Lo de Marcos. Well worth the trip but not very walkable to town. Owners were very responsive to the few things that needed to be addressed. Thanks for the great place to introduce us to Lo de Marcos.

Casa Molendera was the perfect location to stay at if you're attending a wedding at Hacienda Antigua. It is right next door and villa boda is on the other side of you. The house was as described and the house manager did a great job with all of our requests from having the fridge stocked upon arrival to fresh margaritas, ceviche and preparing a few meals for our group. The one thing I would say is to know that this property is more on the remote side up dirt roads to get to. We had no problem requesting a taxi through the property manager. Overall we had a great stay!

Bryon & Areclia - were incredible hosts. It was the perfect place for our family of 6. You never had the leave the house but was close enough to towns and the beach that made it convenient.

Casa Molendera is a beautiful Mexican style house located on a hill with a great view of the ocean. The house has everything that made our stay very enjoying. The communication with Byron was always quick and helpful and the local person was also always available in case we needed anything. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back one day.

Wonderful, large, private home set in the hills behind Lo de Marcos, looking out over the green mountains and the Pacific Ocean. Enough room to comfortably sleep 6 in 3 bedrooms, with outside showers. a plunge pool, recliners, Netflix and an apple TV, and fully stocked kitchen. An on-site property manager was around to sort out any issues quickly. Easy driving access to the local beach, which was relaxed, uncrowded and home to some great restaurants and bars.

Fantastic home with all amenities, fabulous artwork and textiles, view, fully stocked kitchen, beautiful beaches, wonderful hospitality and care. Can't recommend highly enough. We have come twice now and plan to be back next year as well.

A wonderful experience!! The open kitchen and living room are an excellent way to bring any guests staying all in the house closer! Cosy and beautiful, I would highly recommend this home. Away from the busy streets of Sayulita, this was a super stress free / enjoyable home!

Casa Molendera is a beautiful home as you can see from the photos. It is set way up in the hills in the jungle overlooking Lo de Marcos. Everything in the house worked really well and we appreciated the drinking water. Gabriel filled our shopping list for us, so we arrived to fresh food and cold drinks. The fresh guacamole and salsa were so much appreciated. The beach of Lo de Marcos is beautiful, about 2 km long. It's about a 7-10 minute drive from the house, only because you have to drive slowly through the towns. The pool and yard get great afternoon sun. Very nice staff. Byron is a great host.

Byron was a great host, and his local rep Gabriel was perfect and super friendly. We extended our stay, that's how satisfied we were! Great view, great pool, great facilities for cooking and bbqing. Its a peaceful getaway in the hills above Los Marcos/Sayulita etc. Must rent a car! Thanks very much Byron, will visit again soon!

The place is truly unique. We enjoyed it very much. Design, equipment, beds, pool, views – everything is great. 20 min drive to Sayulita (beautiful road), 5 min to Lo De Marcos.

This place is just amazing, great sunset views, Byron and Gabriel are one of the best hosts I ever had, they were really helpful with all our questions and necessities, the place is in the middle of the jungle what gives you privacy and relax moments we where looking. house decoration will make you feel as part of a Mexican hacienda. I totally recommend you stay here with family and friends, and definitely I´ll come back here soon

Wonderful casa ! We stayed there for 3 nights with our three boys and we all really appreciated the design, layout, functionality and exquisite details throughout. We didn't spend all that much time in the house as we romped around the towns and beaches nearby but it was a wonderful place to wake up in and a great place to come home to. You could easily spend an entire day there at the case in complete relaxation. Hosts and property manager are very communicative and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Right from the start, Byron and Nancy were very responsive to our communications. They were quick to email us with answers to our questions and to provide us with helpful suggestions to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We were also in communication with their property manager that met us in town to take us up to the property. There we were greeted with some delicious guacamole and a pitcher of margaritas! Casa Molenderas is in a gorgeous setting on a hill, overlooking the landscaped grounds and a sweeping vista of the jungle, mountains and the ocean. The house itself is spacious and well designed, full of authentic, old world charm. We particularly loved the outdoor showers and well equipped kitchen. The drive down to the beach and into the center of Lo de Marcos takes you through a small village full of chickens, horses and smiling locals. When we weren't preparing dinner at the casa, we were enjoying delicious meals in the beachside restaurant with our toes in the sand, or eating tacos from the many street vendors. There is even a shop with fresh squeezed juices and smoothies! On Wednesday evening, we were fortunate enough to spend the evening in the town plaza, listening to the live music and dancing with the local crowd. Lo de Marcos is quiet and friendly with a nice long beach to stroll on and great body surfing waves in perfect temp waters. All in all, it was a great week!

The house is designed to make you feel at home. The spaces in the house are very well thought out so that you can have a great time with family/friends, but there are also corners where you can find privacy in harmony with nature. The decor is beautiful and makes it very cozy. The hosts leave a book with all the recommendations of the activities you can do nearby, which is very useful because the Riviera offers many activities of all kinds. It was a great experience overall...

Secluded, Exotic, Comfortable. CM was the perfect hideaway for our first week in Mexico to unwind and decompress from City life. Off the beaten path just enough to feel worlds away yet a short drive to Lo De Marcos, Rincon or south to San Pancho and Sayulita for a more populated day out. Take advantage of the 'at your doorstep' services on offer here for a day at the beach, horseback riding adventure, in home massage or home cooked meal all of which are detailed in the comprehensive 'house book'. We especially enjoyed grilling on the patio, dips in the pool, and the magnificent vistas. The house is luxurious and spacious, every detail is in place to fully maximize your comfort and delight your senses. Wi-Fi, great sound system, wonderful kitchen, AC, and luscious beach towels. This was our first try on AirBnB, and we were absolutely delighted!! It was exactly what we had hoped! The house is perfectly appointed with beautiful decor and architecture, we had everything we needed for cooking and relaxing, and the view was fabulous. Located high on a hill in an extremely quiet gated area, we felt safe and peaceful. It's location allowed us to ramble up and down the highway and explore quiet beaches, away from the craziness of PV but close enough to Salyulita to go out for dinner. Our highlight was an evening at home for cooking class with a personal chef who brought everything and served us a 4 course meal and taught us how to make the perfect chile rellano! The property manager was fantastic and friendly, and we felt right at home. A car is an absolute must, other than that, just need a good book, your iPod, and some sunscreen and you're set for a fantastic Mexican retreat.
