We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in San Miguel de Allende. The location is perfect—right in downtown and within walking distance of everything. The house is beautiful, very comfortable, and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The outdoor area is absolutely stunning. The photos don't do it justice; it's even more beautiful in person. We especially loved spending time by the pool, which was peaceful and incredibly relaxing. Laura was an amazing host. She was attentive, welcoming, and prepared the most delicious homemade Mexican food. Her hospitality made our stay even more special. We couldn't have been happier with our experience and would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this house to anyone visiting San Miguel de Allende!

Jordan's home was absolutely wonderful and exceeded our expectations. The location could not have been better, just a short walk to Centro, making it incredibly easy to explore everything San Miguel de Allende has to offer. We loved the traditional hacienda-style charm of the property. The beautiful garden, spacious layout, and refreshing pool made it the perfect place for our family to relax and enjoy our time together. Everyone had plenty of space, and the home felt both authentic and comfortable. A special thank you to Laura, who was simply amazing. She was incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. She even prepared a delicious birthday dinner for my husband upon our arrival, which made our trip extra special and memorable. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this home to anyone visiting San Miguel de Allende. We would love to return in the future!

We had a fantastic time at Jordans private oasis. Having an on site staff was particularly helpful. The daily cleaning, fresh towels and food preparation was beyond our expectations.

We loved Jordan 's place. Everyone (7 guests) were very satisfied with each other's bedroom. We all felt right at home. Laura and Miguel are very nice employees of Jordan. They will make feel like you are at home. From the check in to check out. Very exceptional couple, so lovely. Laura's cooking is so delicious. We order some breakfast during our 10 days of our stay and everytime she cooked for us it was so delicious., I do recomend trying her cooking. Miguel very helpful in all of our needs. From opening and closing the red gate for us , as for to go and get some rotisserie chicken for us very nice guy too. The hohouse is located minutes from all the places you will have in mind. Very close to main Cathedral, restaurants, pharmacy, the farmer's market, la panaderia. Shipping company around the corner. We bought and shipped home a musical instrument. Overal Jordan's place is located very centric . We ❤Jordan's place for the last 10 days ,we came home missing his house.

What a great, traditional Mexican home to come and experience. Reminds me a lot of of my family’s home in nearby Celaya. And what a perfect location. You can walk up Callejón de Loreto and one of my favorite streets, Relox. And there are so many great restaurants nearby. The best pizza in San Miguel (Il Castillo) and the best breakfast (Cafe Lavanda) are a short walk away. The pool is fantastic. The home is a wonderful place to just relax and do nothing. There is a team who are available to you between 9 am to mid afternoon and if you don’t need their services, they stay out of your way. It let me tell you, I highly recommend some home cooked meals from the team. We will definitely come back. My wife, and mytwo boys (11 and 13) didn’t want to leave! Thank you, Jordan, for letting us stay at your home!

We had a great time at the house! We met up for a mini family reunion and everyone was very impressed. There was plenty of space for all the different groups to spread out. We had Laura prepare two dinners and one breakfast, but we wish we had her prepare more meals because they were so good- the whole family agreed that her meals were excellent.

Jordan, thanks for your flexibility in allowing us to check in early. We had a great time at your home. Kids loved the pool. Many great restaurants nearby. Claudia and Miguel were wonderful during our stay. We'll be back!

Jordan’s place was an amazing value for the amount of space, amenities (eg pool) and location. Laura, the onsite staff, cooked us a (massive) meal and was helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend staying here if you have a large group.

Pros: Excellent location, beautiful house and way bigger than expected, the staff was attentive and friendly. Cons: not all AC was working in all rooms and more critters in house than we would have liked. Recommendations: have bugs spray available on site. 10 put is 12 stars

This is our repeat visit to Jordan’s stunning Airbnb. The location is our favorite and the house is a wonderful oasis to relax after a busy day in SMA. We can’t wait to visit again.

Great deal. House is huge. Housekeeper Laura was also great and made us amazing breakfast. Host was very nice, very accommodating and very receptive. Only about a 10 min walk to the main city square. Very close and convenient.

We stayed at Casa Luz for 2 weeks and it was amazing. Beautiful house and gardens! The location was pretty central and easy to walk to the main square. The caretakers, Laura and Miguel were wonderful! We loved our stay and thinking about moving to San Miguel de Allende. It is as charming as everyone says it is. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We loved our stay at Jordan's house. The place is lovely, it is a typical house but with everything you need. The presence of Laura and her husband helped us a lot. They were always friendly and helped us with any questions or concerns. We'd love to go back to that house one day.

Casa Luz was such an excellent place to stay. It was close to town and walkable to everything. Jordan was an excellent host. I recommend to pay to have the pool heated. Laura was awesome, she made us one dinner and three breakfasts that were all excellent. I highly recommend Casa Luz.

A+++, 12 out of 10, 6-Stars, you name it, Jordan's home is 100% the BEST AirBNB in San Miguel. Firstly, Jordan and his co-host are SENSATIONAL. Responsive, kind, helpful. Especially in a country where we didn't speak the language, Jordan's team couldn't have made this stay any easier. The space? SPECTACULAR. We had a private villa in the heart of San Miguel...all of our friends were jealous, and we didn't see anything else like it. The Staff? Laura was FANTASTIC! They took care of everything, and truly made us feel like we were at the most exclusive resort in town. The rooms were clean, the bathrooms were sensational, and the amenities were great. We couldn't have been happier, and 100% would rent/stay with Jordan at any of his properties again. THANK YOU FOR AN AMAZING TRIP!!!

The villa was a picturesque setting for our group’s reunion. The living and social spaces were inviting and comfortable. We opted to have 2 dinners prepared by Laura (host-provided staff member) and they were by far the best meals we had in SMA and a great value for the extra cost. We would definitely return to Casa Luz should we return to the beautiful city of San Miguel de Allende!

We loved staying at Casa Luz, Jordan's treatment was always very cordial and friendly. The rooms of the house are better than the pictures. Laura and all the service staff were always very friendly, they cooked us delicious breakfast. Everything was impeccable, a great place to spend a few days with your family. It's only important to mention that the pool has an extra cost.

We had a wonderful time staying at this magnificent place. Jordan and the kind lady who let us in, Laura, were fantastic. Beautiful property and well located. Just a short walk from downtown. There is a wonderful Italian restaurant just right around the corner. A nice break from all the wonderful Mexican food we ate. You can’t mess with this one

It’s a beautiful place

I rented Jordan's place for my wedding week and Jordan, Gloria and Vicky were amazing. They were so generous to allow us to host a dinner for all our guests and it truly kicked off the wedding weekend in the best way. Everyone that stepped foot on the property was obsessed with the home. The pictures do not do the place justice. Thank you so much again to Gloria for her help and her amazing team!

This is our second time at this fantastic Airbnb, and we are so pleased with the location and walk ability. We used to live right down the street from this Airbnb in San Miguel many years ago and the neighborhood is our absolute favorite. The house itself is very large on the pictures don’t do it Justice… it is even more beautiful in person.

It worked very well for our group of up to 10. The bedrooms are very different in ambience. The singles, queen & king in the front of the property being very modest compared to the 2 BR’s in the casita. It was quite the cold at night & there’s no heat which is very common in SMA, so be prepared & bring a bathrobe! Our house keepers Laura & Delia were wonderful, making us heaps of quacamole & pico de gallo & doing our laundry. Only complaints are it would have been helpful to have a “reference book” with things like the grocery situation, the safe which we couldn’t use & general household info aside from what is on the website. FYI, the City Market aka La Comer is amazing & has everything you could possibly need. It’s a quick, inexpensive cab ride.

The house is super nice and really big, the location is perfect 10 minutes from the Center. Jordan is very communicative and the directions to get there were very clear, all very friendly. Highly recommended.

Casa Luz is stunning, much prettier than the pictures. There is so much space and every corner is a little treasure. My favorite area was the courtyard with the fountain. The house has everything you need and the location is really convenient. You are a short walk from downtown, but enjoy the tranquility and the gorgeous garden and pool of being a few blocks away. Jordan is very responsive, and their staff, Laura and Jose, are super attentive and will make all they can to please you. I highly recommend their delicious breakfast. I would love to come back.

This place is gorgeous! Perfect for our family vacation. Room for everyone to have their own privacy and plenty of zones to gather, eat, drink, swim! Jordan was responsive & helpful. Would definitely come back!

Both Jordan and his staff were absolutely tremendous. The location was absolutely gorgeous and the dinner and breakfast they helped put together was amazing. We came for my best friends wedding and, it goes without saying, they made this weekend even more memorable. We have already begun planning on when to go back and I highly recommend this location!

Fantastic stay! We were a small group that included 2 babies. It was perfect! Bedrooms are a bit off from the common area, so we could hang out at night while the babies slept, yet they were close enough we could hear them. Pool is rad! We didn't heat it up but dipped our toes in. House staff is lovely. I recommend having them cook you breakfast! We went to the Mega (has everything and more, that was a fun experience!) and stocked up and the ladies cooked for us. They also did laundry. Both made our vacation with kids even more enjoyable! Location is perfect, very walkable. House comes with 2 pack + plays, kids toys too. RECOMMENDATION: * San Miguel Kids- a service that delivered baby items that we rented for the week. Highly recommend! We got an extra crib, baby gates but most importantly- we rented booster seats. We strapped them on our backs and took them to restaurants. This made dining out even easier. It was great to pack light for this trip knowing everything was at the house.

This is a lovely property for a large family or group. We were 7 adults staying, with another 7 who joined us during the day for workshops we held on site as well as for a couple of evening gatherings. Bedrooms are as described on the website. The two bedrooms with the ensuite bathrooms are simply fabulous -- the red one even has a wonderful desk/office area. The bedrooms in the upper house (with the shared bathrooms) are definitely smaller -- especially the green and purple, whose bathroom is in the hallway -- but still sweet in their own ways. Plentiful artwork, clearly acquired for the love of it and not for the sake of "decorating," elevates the whole property. The indoor and outdoor communal spaces are also lovely, and the property extends way back -- quite amazing that it has survived all the growth in the city. Last but not least, the on-site staff took VERY kind and thoughtful care of us. Do be aware, however, that there are 2 housekeepers, not 1, so budget to tip 3 people.

Extraordinary stay. Huge and beautiful property, classic Mexican colonial style, feels like your private and quiet hacienda right in the middle of busy San Miguel de Allende downtown. Juan and Laura went the extra mile to accommodate our requests and keep the property spotless. Would 1000% recommend!

The house was perfect for us since we were able to share quality family time. The place is very spacious and allows everyone to have their privacy, but the shared spaces are very cozy. I 100% recommend this place. The communication flowed excellently and the people who attend to the house, Juan and his two companions, deserve special recognition since they were always attentive to us and kept the place impeccable.

We had a wonderful time in Jordan’s beautiful villa home in San Miguel de Allende. It was our first time in Guanajuato and we really enjoyed the home and the service from the staff at the home was excellent. We travelled with our three small daughters and to have the staff make breakfast and help with cleaning our clothes made our vacation more restful. Thank you and we hope we get to visit and stay at Jordan’s home again.

We had a great stay at Casa Luz. The property is truly amazing with stunning architecture, design, and furnishings. We loved the outdoor areas, so many to choose from, huge garden, beautiful pool, we had a wonderful relaxing time. The huge fireplace in the living room was a perfect way to spend the evening. The kitchen had everything we needed as we stayed in cooking most of our meals. Jordan was very responsive and accommodating from the moment I booked our reservation. Juan was extremely attentive during our arrival, making sure we were settled in and had everything we needed, making check quick and easy. He brought us firewood and charcoal for the grill, and was always available for anything that we needed. The location could not be any better, just steps away from the center of San Miguel. I would not hesitate recommending this property to anyone, and we hope to go back very soon. Thank you.

Great spot

Very nice location close to the town center and the mural zone. This is an older property with plenty of room for a large group. We had a family reunion for 12 with ages from 8 to 80. The property location is an easy walk to the center of town and flat ground. I recommend to heat the pool early in the morning, it warms fast and stays warm for the entire day. Great staff with a good knowledge of the area for recommendations and directions. Large kitchen with everything you need and the owner provides large bottles of clean water for the guest. The rear property has a nice yard for children to play, fruit trees and many varieties of blooming plants. We enjoyed watching the Hummingbirds pollinate the various flowers early in the morning and watching the stars at night. Hope to return next year!

We were six ladies from the USA spending a week at Casa Luz in San Miguel de Allende. The property is large, beautiful and secure. Juan is the caretaker and keeps the property clean and looking beautiful. He certainly took great care of us. Cecelia and Laura are the housekeepers. They do a great job of keeping the guest rooms clean and tidy. We chose the option of having them cook breakfast for us. Each morning we sat down to delicious authentic Mexican food. We created great memories. Without a doubt, I would choose a visit to San Miguel and Casa Luz again.

We loved this house! We were a group of five friends from high school coming to SMA for a reunion and an adventure. The house is just like the pictures and the location is amazing for such a big house. A great value. We walked everywhere and enjoyed every bit of it. Every street is a feast for the eyes and there are a plethora of great restaurants to choose from. One of our group researched restaurants before we came and made reservations ahead of time. We paid to have the pool heated and it was well worth it because it's really soothing after a day of walking. I also recommend having the cook Laura prepare a few meals for you - just decide upon a menu ahead of time and be very specific. Juan, the house manager is so helpful and kind. A great place for a reunion.

A beautiful house recommended for large groups, social areas and super comfortable bedrooms. We particularly love the rooms next to the pool and the social area. The staff is always helpful. As for the location, it is slightly far from the center, a 12-minute walk away but very safe and quiet. Highly recommended ;)

Casa Luz is an amazing place to stay in San Miguel de Allende. It is truly full of light everywhere you are. It is only 7 mins walk to the main square and at the same time you can fell you are spending your vacation at a retreat home -far from the noisy world.

Beautiful, sprawling property that encourages being outside by the pool. Lots of places to be by yourself even if you have a large party. Location and neighborhood were exceptional. Turn right to go to the city center in about 10 minutes or turn left to explore some upscale neighborhoods up the hill. We walked everywhere and so missed a few destinations like the botanical gardens further away and uphill, but we saw and experienced plenty within a 20 minutes walk from the house. We were very happy that we didn’t rent a car, as it would have just sat in the driveway. Grab a super cheap Uber if you want to go somewhere without walking. Speaking of walking, the cobblestone streets and narrow sidewalks will be a challenge for anyone who is unsteady on their feet, but we had some healthy active 70-something’s who managed just fine.

Really great large home a short walk to the centro. We loved hanging out around the pool and having breakfast prepared for us each day. Really wonderful place for a family get-together.

We stayed with our 5 year old and baby and we couldn’t have imagined a better place. We enjoyed it so much. The pool, the garden it was such an amazing and beautiful space. WOW!! This is one of the most amazing properties we have ever stayed in! Pictures do not do it justice. Perfect for families or groups, feeling of a small resort with lots of space, picture perfect courtyard, warm pool and friendly staff! We had home cooked meals for us every day! One of the best meals we had was prepared by the staff. Location is awesome, just a short 10 min walk to the main city center. We can't wait to come back!

This Airbnb is a lovely stay. Our family 4 adore this part of town and prefer to be very close to the Artisan Market on Loreto and we are huge fans of being in the flat part of centro SMA. The house is an excellent stay for families or large groups and the indoor/outdoor flow is divine. The wonderful staff provided excellent care and support. We look forward to our next visit and stay.

We loved our stay at Casa de la Luz. The location is perfect, it was an easy walking distance to the Centro. The house (actually three buildings surrounding a large courtyard and pool) is surprisingly quiet given how close it is to everything. There was so much space we didn't even use the front living room or the smaller second kitchen. Jordan is an excellent host--very responsive and kind. I highly recommend Casa de La Luz for large groups who are looking for a central but quiet location to explore the beautiful town of San Miguel de Allende.

Awesome home for large groups! We had plans for day trips to neighboring towns but ended just relaxing and enjoying the home. Comfortable beds and plenty of hot water. The house staff were very helpful, mindful of any requests and super friendly. We will definitely recommend the home to our friends.

It is a big, beautiful, traditional house... The furniture is old and traditional, but you can breathe in the house an atmosphere of positive energy. It is actually two connected houses, which can be very useful if they are two family groups...and the location is fantastic, it allows you to walk to the center but without being involved in the noise and traffic that is there... highly recommended for large groups.

Casa Luz exceeds expectations in all respects. The property is a beautiful, well appointed, private residence reflecting the character of the heritage city San Miguel de Allende. The staff provided excellent service to assure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The buildings and gardens of Casa Luz are remarkable, historical features that, in themselves, provide a unique restful experience. The grounds, facilities, and accommodations are of high quality and are maintained with care by the staff. It was a pleasure to stay in such attractive surroundings, while being close to the city center, shopping, and many fine restaurants.

Great place for a big group. Would return

FABULOUS place -- we all were truly overwhelmed when we walked in -- stunning home. Location is a little further from the downtown then we expected, but was totally worth it. The owner even provided breakfast for us which was delicious! Three wings of the house, great for friends and family that need lots of room but want to be in the same place. Highly recommend!

If you happen to come across availability BOOK THIS HOUSE! We loved the hose so much our group did a night in to enjoy the space. The backyard has a beautiful garden and rooftop overlooking the city. We look forward to staying here when we visit SMDA again.

We were in town for a wedding 8 of us stated here, this house and host (Jordan) were great. I actually think the pictures don't do it justice it's more beautiful in person. This house is also great for events we had close to 100 people in the backyard for a pool party for one of the events leading up to a spectacular wedding. Highly recommend!
