Casa Ilios is as described and pictured, but views and support from staff exceeded expectations. You're perched over Tamarindo with expansive vistas. A few buildings poke up, but they are "there" not "in the way". Best view from a shower I've had ;) Each morning the staff cooks an honestly incredible breakfast. With good weather we ate outside with the view all around. Staff cooked dinner one evening and it was lovely. They clean daily, do your towels / laundry, made snacks unasked for, and were great. To be fair, the pool is at the bottom level so you can't see anything unless you stand on the deck, the house heats quickly but bedrooms cool fast, and the road is a Very bumpy steep hill. In dry weather high quality golf carts and vans made it, not sure about cheap carts or carts in rain. Get good transport. Only 1-2 min drive to town/beach and in theory you could walk, but you won't want to on that hill. Overall: great spot and we'd definitely come back.

Elizabeth, thank you for being such an amazing host! Your communication was flawless from start to finish, and we truly appreciated your flexibility with our early check-in. The house was absolutely breathtaking and even better than the photos. Our large family loved every detail, and it had everything we could possibly need and more. The views were simply incredible—an absolute WOW every day. The location was perfect, close to the beach, restaurants, and shops. A special thank you to Rosi and Marta for the delicious breakfasts and for taking such wonderful care of our family throughout our stay. It was honestly hard to leave. We created memories that will last a lifetime, and I would absolutely return just to stay here again. Highly recommend! 🌴❤️☀️

Amazing home, spectacular views and close walking distance to everything

Our stay at Casa Ilios was exceptional. Elizabeth was so responsive and helped with arranging transportation, planning meals, and meeting our every need. The views are spectacular from the house and the the five kids in our group of 14 loved the bunk beds and the beautiful pool. We were all so comfortable and had plenty of room. The staff prepared a delicious breakfast for us each morning, and we all enjoyed that so much. We highly recommend booking a stay at Casa Ilios!

Elizabeth was a fantastic host and so helpful in planning every element of our trip! The house was perfect - great location, great views, great staff. Everything you needed!

Wow where do I even begin! It was the most incredible stay. The home is even better than the photos with stunning views in a prime location of Tamarindo. Both Rosy and Martha were so helpful, kept the house so clean (and with 13 people that’s saying a lot), and cooked the most delicious meals. Last but not least the host Elizabeth - simply put she is best of the best. So responsive, helpful, and kind. She helped me to organize so many aspects of this trip and everything came out flawlessly and better than I could have imagined. From transport, to excursions, and details of the home. All of it perfect. Could not recommend this home more.

Our stay at was amazing and exceeded our expectations! Elizabeth responded quickly and as very helpful. Rosi and Martha went above and beyond to provide wonderful meals, keeping the place tidy, and did laundry daily! The house and views wonderful! Location was perfect too. A short walk into town. Due to the heat and some knee issues, some elected to take Ubers to and from town. For less than $4 a trip, it was well worth it and didn’t have the hassle of the golf carts, especially finding parking in the town. Highly recommend Elizabeth’s place and hope to be back again!!

We had an amazing stay! Elizabeth was incredibly helpful from the start—she set up our surf lessons, provided great recommendations, and was always quick to respond to any questions. The staff on-site were wonderful as well. Even with a bit of a communication barrier, they were friendly, accommodating, and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. Made some amazing meals too!! The view was absolutely stunning and one of the highlights of the trip. Overall, a fantastic experience—we would definitely stay here again!

Elizabeth's place is nothing short of exceptional. I planned a 50th birthday trip for my husband and some friends and it was everything we could have hoped for. The house itself is amazing - breathtaking sunset/sunrise views from the palapa, a spacious pool for the group, lots of rooms and bathrooms, very clean, comfortable beds, etc. Then there's Rosi and Martha, the caretakers who are there for meals, cleaning/laundry, grocery runs, any questions, etc. They were amazing and so attentive. The group was raving about the meals they made the whole week and even as we were leaving - so definitely take advantage of the meals if you book this place! From Day 1, Elizabeth was communicative and attentive. She helped me plan and organize transportation, massages, a custom birthday cake, a beach club day, and anything I could have wanted. She's very fast at responding (sometimes literally within seconds) and she helped make the week extra special. Thank you so much Elizabeth, Rosi and Martha!

We loved Elizabeth’s place and would highly recommend to anyone looking! Elizabeth was extremely responsive and helped us book excursions, dinners and answered all of our questions. She was also very flexible with last minute changes. Shoutout goes to Malta and Rosi for being incredible chefs and housekeepers. It made our experience that much more special. The home worked very well for our multi-generational family. Every person had their own space and privacy. We rented a golf cart and it was essential for carting older family members and young children up the hill to the home. We all said this was the best AirBnb experience we’ve ever had. Thank you so much to Elizabeth and the whole team!
