The apartment is very clean, the furniture is nice, and I have stayed in other Airbnb's and suffered from back pain because of the mattress the first 3 days. Here, nothing. The mattress is very comfortable, the kitchen is super equipped, the pool area, the pools, the whole building is very clean. Definitely a very comfortable and pleasant vacation. Super recommended 🤗

I had an excellent experience during my stay. The apartment was impeccably clean, very well equipped, and exactly as shown in the pictures. The location is very convenient and safe, with easy access to different points of interest. The attention and friendliness of the staff were outstanding at all times; they were always attentive and available for any need. It is definitely a highly recommended place to stay, whether for rest or work. I'd be happy to come back.☺️💚

Relaxing

Had a great stay at Amara Ixtapa. The place was clean, comfortable, and had an amazing view. Beach access was perfect, the pools were nice, and the location was convenient to everything nearby. Staff was friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Mary for being a great host and making everything easy. Overall a relaxing trip and I’d definitely stay here again.

It's a very nice place; the stay is comfortable. It's very important to read the rules. We never had any problems; however, you are not allowed to have speakers in any common area. In the pool area, they are very careful about drinks near the pool. The apartment is impeccable and very complete.

We traveled as a family and really enjoyed the stay. The apartment was impeccable, very comfortable and with a beautiful view. The location is excellent, ideal for getting around and enjoying Ixtapa. Communication with Mary was excellent at all times; always very friendly and attentive, and she shared very useful tips to make the most of the destination. In addition, the condo staff was very professional and helpful. We definitely recommend it and would love to come back.

It’s an Airbnb right in the Zona hotelera of Ixtapa, you can walk to restaurants and beach is perfect and private. Not too much people. Pools were empty as well so you can enjoy the whole pool for you. It might depend on the season of course.

Mary’s condo was great ! Beautiful 4bd 4bth was perfect for me and my family , the property had great pools right in front of beach , centrally located only about 10-15 min drive to zihuatanejo and other beaches , very family friendly ! We would definitely recommend and stay here again ! Mary was super great and helpful

Good place, getting to the administration is complicated since the guards do not give correct instructions, otherwise it is a good place, there was enough communication, the location is very good and the common facilities are excellent, the only issue that I did not like is that it is forbidden to bring your own drinks to the pool area, considering that there are people who drink special non-alcoholic liquids, it is a bit complex. The apartment is very good in general.

The location is perfect, just steps from the beach. The place was clean, well-equipped and decorated. The host was very attentive and answered all our questions.

just finished a 3 day stay at Mary’s Place and we couldn’t be more pleased. the entire condo is as pictured. extremely beautiful, accommodating and in a great location. wife n kids totally loved it as well. we definitely had a great time and Mary is so helpful throughout our stay. we will definitely Return

This airbnb is absolutely stunning. The decor, the surroundings, the views, just beautiful. Honestly, if it was for sale, we would buy it! The home is equipped with an entire book full of recommendations, including a driver, which we used the entire time we stayed here. Mary was always available to help answer any questions. Beds are comfy, big tvs in every room for downtime viewing, great a/c in every room, and the home is fully equipped with everything you could need for a short or long stay. We didn't want to leave :) And we can't wait to come back! Thank you Mary for a wonderful stay :)

Mary’s place at Amara was absolutely perfect! Condo was spacious and clean. Location is great! Pool was bigger than I thought. Quiet and relaxing! Everything was literally right across the street. Beach was gorgeous. Staff were great! Highly recommend!!!

The second time we stayed with my family, Mary's apartment is as described in the photos, the facilities are incredible, a super nice pool. And Mary is always super friendly and helpful.

The place is very well located, right in the center, and yet the apartments and facilities look new. The apartment is very well furnished, with kitchen utensils, bathrooms, and cleanliness. Amara's management is super friendly, but since it's a hotel-type property, you need to factor in additional costs like a $350 wristband fee per person and a $1,000 deposit at the bar (for consumption). Due to the host's decision, we were charged $400 per day for an extra person; however, we had a great time.

The apartment is just like the photos, nice, clean facilities, and the whole family loved the pool. Mary's service was 10/10.

Mary was extremely helpful since we booked the place giving me tips and offering the service to pick us up from the airport. She has a local person who was available if we need anything. Giovani helped us find a cook and taxi service. The apartment and the common areas are beautiful and very well kept. All the people súper kind. The place is located in a walkable beach, the ocean is open so no for swimming but beautiful. Many stores and restaurants at a walking distance. We were 7 adults and a baby and all had a great time! I recommend it!

The place was stunning, as you walk in the view grabs your attention, all the rooms, kitchen,. living room, etc., were better in person. Truly the pictures do not make this place justice. We had the place pretty much for ourselves, there were only a few families at the pool and beach, but for the most part the area was calm and relaxing I'd highly recommend this place and host, and would definitely stay here again.

The best vacation our family has ever had.

The photos don't really do Mary's place justice - the condo is beautiful, well appointed and had enough space/areas to host our two families of 4. The kitchen had everything you could need for preparing meals and there were dining tables inside and out. The patio doors open completely up, making the space feel large and like you are in a treehouse. We loved the beautiful palm tree view and shade from the hot sun. Many great restaurants within walking distance - our favorites were Bistro Soleiado and Casa Morelos. The beach and pool areas are great and we ordered snacks and drinks from the palapa bar daily. Mary was vey responsive to questions and arranged airport transfers for us. The only negative is the two all inclusive resorts next door are loud with music all day. We did get used to it after a few days but something to note. Overall would highly recommend Mary's place!!

Our stay at Mary’s place went very well and Mary is an excellent host. We were two couples originally staying at a different resort but it was nothing close to what was advertised and Airbnb gave us the option to cancel which we did. We were fortunate to find Mary’s property and we were checked in within an hour and a half from first contacting her. Lydia, the housekeeper, greeted us and helped us settle in. The apartment had lots of room, was very clean and the kitchen had everything you could ask for. It was easy access to the pool and beach areas as well as the restaurants and stores on the other side of the boulevard. Mary was very quick to respond when messaging her. If there was one knock against the place it would be the Krystal resort next door that would put on shows nightly that got a little loud. All in all, I felt that we lucked out finding this apartment and would not hesitate to book it again in the future.

We had another excellent stay at the Amara Condominiums. This condo/complex is in a great location in Ixtapa with very easy access to the restaurants and shops across the street. Mary's condo/unit was very neat and clean as well as spacious/well laid out. It was also very easy when it came to checking in/checking out, which was very much appreciated. The unit had great appliances and electronics, including automatic window blinds in/for the main living area which was a nice surprise as we used them daily. The large outdoor deck with the sliding floor to ceiling windows/doors made the unit feel huge as it really extended out the living space. All four (4) bedrooms were large with lots of storage and closet space. The four (4) bathrooms were also well sized, with 3 of them being ensuite's. The resort/common areas were outstanding and very well maintained including the gym and court area. The swimming pools couldn't have been better...water temperatures in the pools were perfect and the maintenance staff made sure all the areas around the pool, including the washrooms were always very clean and once again well maintained. You could easily tell that this Condo complex takes a lot of pride in keeping the entire property in the best possible condition. Another huge plus was all of the staff that work on the property. They were all so friendly and accommodating and were always eager to help out if required.

What a great spot. We’ve stayed in this building in the past and think it’s great. Lovely pools and beautiful beach. This unit is closer to the ground - which we liked as we didn’t have to wait for the elevator. The host left us chocolates and a bottle of wine when we arrived and was very helpful whenever we had questions. The internet wifi was fast and she had a smart TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime. Every room had a television and AC and plenty of storage and comfy beds. I’d stay here again in a heart beat.

My friends and I had a great time on our stay. The apartment looks great just like the pictures and it makes you feel a bit fancy. The two main rooms were very specious with very comfy beds and a view to the garden. We hanged mostly at the beach but the pools were really nice too. Although, it would be nice to be able to drink On the bigger pool as the shade makes the water cooler on the pool where is allowed to drink. We had music most of the time in our apartment and seems like the concrete walls absorb most of the noise cos we could barely hear anything from outside. The beach is great and there are lots of water sport activities. I liked the 300 pesos hour massages by the beach and it’s 5min walk from the apartment. I would say the 300 extra per person it’s a bit much considering all the expenses you pay upfront but at least they let us pay as my friends were arriving. That way you are not forced to pay for everyone and risk paying for the ones that didn’t show up. Enjoy your vacation!

Thank you very much for your attention, we enjoyed the stay very much, they don't ask for anything from a 4-star hotel, Mrs. Pilar who helped us with the cleaning was always friendly and cordial; if you need it, she can prepare lunch, breakfast or dinner and it is delicious. The place is very good and of course I would come back for a weekend with family or friends.
