This home is awesome! We (two couples) went to Costa Rica to see birds. We went to two of the big parks, once with a guide, and saw almost no birds. Sitting on the deck at the house, we saw every major bird in the country. There is a roost of 17 Scarlet Macaws a few hundred feet away. The house is on a hilltop in the woods. There are no neighbors in sight, just a great view of the sea and of deep valleys close by. The floor plan ensures maximum privacy for two couples. We have no complaints.

Do NOT hesitate to book Kelie’s Casa Verde!!! Absolutely exceeded all our expectations. This 2/2 home was beyond perfect for our group. STUNNING views, every amenity you could possibly need or want and Kelie was by far the best hostess we’ve ever encountered! The 2 bedrooms & bathrooms are split providing more than enough privacy. The beds weee SO comfortable!! The kitchen was just beautiful and beyond well equipped. I can’t begin to put into words the outdoor space and view…pictures could never do it justice! We were greeted by beautiful Macaws & Toucans every single morning while having our fabulous Costa Rican coffee Kelie left for us. The ocean and mountain views are just breathtaking. The location is perfect whether you’re wanting local restaurants, bars, beaches, surfing, farmers markets, fishing, adventure tours etc. Kelie has the BEST recommendations for literally anything you could possibly want. Book now, you won’t regret it!!! Thank you so much again Kelie!!

We spent 3 weeks at Kelie's Casa Verde and loved it! Each day felt like a paradise beyond our wildest expectations. The secluded and spectacular grounds, along with the fabulous vistas, will provide us with wonderful memories for a lifetime. Let Kelie know what types of food and experiences you like to enjoy, and she will curate the perfect restaurants and outings for you. Casa Verde is exactly as described, and then some. Highly recommend this property.

The view is amazing, the house is great and clean, with simple amenities from cooking to heading to the beach. But Kelie’s knowledge of the area from fishing, adventure, restaurants, banking, and beyond is easily 5 stars and makes you feel as if you always have someone ready to help. We would love to return again some day!

The house is super private with a fantastic view. The rooms are very spacious, super comfortable beds, a perfectly equipped kitchen with everything you need, everything was sparkling and clean. Our children loved everything, especially the pool and the puzzles that were on site. :) They were very sad when we had to leave. The entire stay was perfect.

My stay was absolute paradise! Location was centrally located to everything space was very comfortable, quiet and serene. And host was always very responsive and always had great recommendation. definitely a special treat with fresh eggs and local fruit was an extra bonus.

Kelie’s place was absolutely magical! Perched atop a hill, it offered breathtaking views and a symphony of nature every morning—we loved waking up to the sounds of birds and other wildlife. Seeing toucans and macaws right from the property was unforgettable! The pool was the perfect temperature and a great spot to unwind. Inside, the home was impeccably clean, and the bathrooms were incredibly spacious. The outdoor grill and sound system made our evenings extra special, creating the perfect setting to relax and soak in the beauty of Costa Rica. What truly made this stay exceptional, though, was Kelie herself. She was the most responsive and thoughtful host I’ve ever had. Her kindness and attention to detail elevated our trip—from her fantastic recommendations to the way she went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. She truly cares about her guests. If you’re visiting Costa Rica, do yourself a favor and book Kelie’s place. It’s not just a stay—it’s unforgettable!

I've stayed at many rentals in the area and this place is superior to all others. The view is fantastic and the place feels like home. Kelie and her assistant Petra were very helpful and responsive, always checking in to make sure my stay was enjoyable. I didn't leave the place for 3 days as I just wanted to take in the view forever. I can't wait to return.

Kelie’s place was perfect for our family of three! Our 7 year old daughter loved the pool for early morning and late night swims. The view of the ocean and mountains offered beautiful sunsets. Kelie was an amazing host, who offered tons of great recommendations and helped us book tours. We loved the fresh eggs, fruit and peppers! This is a perfect place and we feel so fortunate to have had Kelie as our host. We loved having a quiet place to unwind that was still so close to many places we wanted to visit. We also loved how great we felt after relaxing in the hammock.

Kelie’s place is beautiful and peaceful, yet close to the beach, restaurants, and things to do. The perfect balance! Kelie was super informative and helpful prior to our arrival and very responsive during our stay whenever we needed anything. She was flexible with timing for check in and check out which made things much easier for us. I am sad to leave and cant wait to come back!

Kelie is a wonderful and very helpful host! And her home was a fantastic base from which to launch adventures on the pacific coast and the mountains! Kelie has many great suggestions. Her home and its setting were perfect - photos don’t really do it justice.

Kelie was the best just ever! The place was clean, awesome view and the pool was a great benefit. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay outside of Jaco.
