This home was an absolute dream! It was everything we had hoped for -- beautiful, comfortable, and well-stocked! And Wendy responded to every question within 10 minutes. Could not have asked for more and can't wait to go back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable, well-appointed, and thoughtfully arranged, making everything easy and seamless from start to finish. Communication was perfect throughout the entire process, and the home was clearly very well managed and cared for. It was evident that great attention had been given to creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience. We felt very much at home and would happily stay again.

This is the nicest, most special airbnb I’ve ever stayed in - Wendy raised the bar for hospitality! The house is gorgeous (including a tasteful art collection), the staff that prepared the house left it spotless, the beds were very comfortable, and the grounds and rooftop deck were beautiful. Really, it cannot be beat. We enjoyed walking down the cobblestone quiet streets into town too - walking back home at night after dinner was just what we needed. Thank you, Wendy and Nest staff, for a great experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wendy's home, the house is beautifully appointed and just as pictured in the photos. It is well maintained and has many lovely places to sit and enjoy the fabulous weather and beautiful views of the SMA community. The location, allowed us to walk to our favorite restaurants and shops and we saw a great fireworks display from the rooftop on New Year's Eve. The company that manages the house was very responsive and friendly related to any requests made. We hired the cooks to make breakfast for us, they were great cooks, easy to work with and very kind. All in all it was a great two weeks.

Wendy's home in San Miguel de Allende is amazing. Beautiful decor (the cieling in the master bedroom is my favorite part). Super comfortable, with lots of interior and exterior space. And a killer location that is a short walk or Uber ride from any place we wanted to go. We visited the Rosewood and Belmod hotels too—just to check them out—and were so glad we were at Wendy's instead. I hope we can get back there again soon...!

What a beautiful and well-appointed home! The moment you walk into the courtyard you know you are someplace special. Everything has been thought of, from a well-supplied kitchen to many little accessories that make your stay comfortable. From the design and décor to the dishes you are surrounded by luxury and good taste. It is a short 15-minute walk into town and an easy approx. $4 Uber ride back. The City Market grocery store is easy to get to by Uber and carries everything. Wendy was extremely helpful and quick to response, and the chefs are a delight! We used them twice in 5 days and would have done more had we known how great they are. We’ll stay there again!

Lovely place, great surrounding, walkable to town although it s little tough for people with mobility issue. We love the house and would recommend the place to everyone. Wendy is a great host, she was super responsive and will get to you back almost immediately.

Excellent place to stay if visiting this magical town. The home was absolutely beautiful and had all we needed for a comfortable stay. We had the chefs come the first night and they made the most delicious meal. We walked into town each day to enjoy the shopping and restaurants so it was the perfect location. The place was such absolute perfection that I don’t know where to begin. I’ve had my share of vacation rentals around the world and this one easily tops the list. The owners have thought of everything. The kitchen was completely stock with every imaginable spice and seasonings, coffee beans in the grinder, cookware, service pieces, vases, etc. We used the recommended chef so we didn’t cook but it was so nice to have everything available. We’re returning and will be utilizing the kitchen next time. The mattresses were so amazing that we wondered where they got them because we all need them at home. I’m running out of space and words for this review so I’ll just say that you shouldn’t hesitate to book it. I just hope that you don’t take the dates that I want!

Best house in San Miguel de Allende! Luxurious, spacious, very clean, everything was perfect. The house is very centric, safe and just gorgeous. Wendy and the team are extremely responsive and very nice. One of the best experiences Ive had! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

The home was beautiful and well appointed. It is easily walkable to Centro but when you preferred to ride, cabs and Uber were plentiful and inexpensive. The whole experience was exceptional. The host and staff were attentive and courteous. We would definitely return!

This home is fantastic. The location is great, combines privacy with proximity to the center of San Miguel. The rooftop deck has a great view and we used it every day. Wendy provided great help with local and airport transportation, in home chefs, masseuses, and restaurant recommendations. I highly recommend Casa Dulcinea, you will not be disappointed.

Perfect and perfectly comfortable are the words that describe our recent stay at Casa Dulcinea in San Miguel. The design of Casa Dulcinea provided us (3 couples) plenty of space/privacy, with lovely patios and a rooftop that was easily large enough for outside dining as a group. The furnishings are beautiful in design/function. Casa Dulcinea is located in one of my favorite areas of SMA, close enough to town for a short walk, far enough away for less noise. It is in a very nice, quiet neighborhood. The home is well equipped, and everything functioned perfectly - hot water, appliances, etc. - there was nothing I can think of that we needed that wasn’t provided. We had two delicious dinners cooked by Jose and Felica - they were delightful - get the ribs, yum! It’s a fun thing to do and very reasonably priced. Wendy is friendly and always responded quickly whenever I contacted her. She provided excellent information and recommendations, and we used many of them. Great place to stay!

Our "villa" was absolutely wonderful. There was plenty of room, each bedroom had its own patio/balcony and there were two rooftop spots with amazing views (we had happy hour up there most evenings to listen to music and church bells). We were able to spread out and really relax. The kitchen was huge, amazing and full of supplies. The location is great. We walked everywhere. Wendy also put us in touch with Jose, a taxi driver who responded to our messages very quickly and was great about helping us get around to longer distance spots. Wendy recommended several great restaurants, and when she found out there was going to be a neighborhood fiesta, she quickly notified us too. We did not want to leave, and will most definitely stay at this house every time we come to San Miguel de Allende!!!

Anna was very nice, explained all features of the casa. Everything was super clean, mattresses very comfy, the views incredible. Short walk to street with fresh produce and other necessities. Aldama st. [about 1 block] runs directly to Centro. I would rate 5 star!!!

Dulcinea is a paradise. The house is amazing, the details on decoration, amenities, spacious , architecture and the view are just so beautiful that we really resent we couldn't stay longer. Every single room has an outdoor space, the sounds of the fountain so peacefull, the light, the green areas and the highlight, the rooftop with the best view of San Miguel de Allende, day and night. The host and her team is great, thinking about all single detail in the bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, patios. We loved the surrounding areas with cozy cablestone streets all taking to the Benito Juarez park with many restaurants and shops. Dulcinea is just as Don Quijote describes his Dulcinea, only that this one is really real. We are ready to come back.

We enjoyed our stay at this location so much two years ago that we booked it again for a return trip for our son’s wedding. We hosted family here and all was even better than we remembered. Friends and family who had never visited San Miguel before stated they would return if Wendy is their host! Wendy offers more than a place to stay, she offers an experience including arranging a local chef to prepare an entire dinner for you. Our guests loved the experience. If you are thinking about visiting San Miguel for the first time or returning for another visit, stop looking and contact Wendy about this location. You will not be disappointed!!

Casa Dulcinea was my first Airbnb reservation. What a wonderful experience and beyond what we expected. If you are lucky enough to stay here you will love every minute! Wendy was an outstanding host, always quick to respond and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The chefs Jose and Feliza over exceeded our expectations and not to be missed. Don’t hesitate - book this property! Beautiful, cozy, walkable to most everything. Patios off each bedroom and rooftop were amazing. Wendy’s suggestions were spot on. The house is quite spacious, and beautifully decorated. The kitchen has everything you could want for meal prep. Chefs Jose and Feliza made a fabulous meal for our group the night before we left. Not to be missed! We wanted for nothing during our stay and would definitely rebook in the future.

I cannot say enough about this beautiful sanctuary and the service that the hosts provided. This property exceeded our expectations and was a serene retreat for our family of four. Wendy, Jerry and the Carroll's went above and beyond providing recommendations, coordinating the amazing chefs and the incredible in-home massages. Perfect location in a beautiful part of town. Walkable to Centro and all of the delicious and beautiful restaurants in SMA. We wish that we could live there.

We loved Casa Dulcinea! It is more beautiful than the photos. The entire home is tastefully decorated with Mexican art. Every bedroom has its own bathroom and is on its own floor. Every bedroom has a patio or courtyard with plants. The first floor living room is a comfortable space with an outdoor patio for all guests to congregate. The top level of the house has a rooftop sitting area and a terrace. In the evening it’s a great place to relax to see the views of San Miguel below. The house is located up a hill in a neighborhood but it feels as though the house is on its own. It’s very private. Wendy is the best host we have ever known. She provided lots of recommendations and responded quickly if we ever have questions. We followed her recommendations for transportation, and restaurants. We hired the chefs to cook migas one morning and prepare a dinner along with margaritas for our last evening.We were very happy with our entire stay at Casa Dulcinea and would stay there again.

Casa Dulcinea exceeded our expectations. The home itself was beautiful, clean, and had great art. The view from the rooftop was amazing during the day and at night. Wendy and Whitney were wonderful hosts. They were very quick with their responses and very helpful. Jerry the property manager was very sweet. I would highly recommend and would come back to stay here again.

Casa Dulcinea is the only place to stay in San Miguel!!! It is incredible!!! I cannot describe how amazing her place is - decorated like an art gallery! Gardens and patios! Rooftop that will take your breath away. Easy to walk to the city center. Very safe. Gourmet kitchen! Wendy and her staff were super friendly. Very informative! This is the only place I will stay in San Miguel. The only reason I give it five stars is because I can’t give it ten!!! It is better than the pictures!!! Trust me. Stay here you will not regret it!!!

This home is a hidden gem among the hustle and bustle of the vibrant city of San Miguel de Allende: open and airy, with beautiful art and garden views from every room. The home was quiet and comfortable, and quite frankly, felt like home to me from the moment I stepped inside. We were hosting our daughter's wedding in SMA, and Wendy went above and beyond in helping me—from arranging the casa's chefs to cook us a family dinner, to recommending a fabulous caterer for a rooftop gathering for our friends. My husband hurt his back, and he were saved by Wendy's prompt response (all the way from Spain) and a fantastic holistic MD. referral. The property manager, Iliana, was also very responsive to our needs. The neighborhood is a lovely 15 minute walk to the center of town, and it is also close to an authentic Mexican (not touristy) neighborhood where we enjoyed local vendors and restaurants. Thank you Wendy for making our stay so enjoyable with your personal touch and gracious hospitality.

Casa Dulcinea is enchanting! Wendy was a fabulous host to work with from the very beginning of my booking Casa Dulcinea and throughout the entire time I engaged with her planning for and during this vacation. Her communication is incredibly prompt. I accidently locked my passport in the safe without setting a combination and the issue was resolved within minutes of me contacting Wendy about the problem. She provides a wonderful guest letter introducing you to the property and then fabulous recommendations of where to eat, where to shop and activities to partake in - all recommendations were spot on! Among all the great attributes of this home are wonderful art in every room, extremely comfortable beds, large comfortable sitting areas, a beautiful well stocked kitchen and patios with fabulous views. I feel like I’m joining the cult but all the reviews are accurate!! I’ll list the highlights. Wendy was beyond helpful with answering my numerous questions. The chefs were amazing! Loved cocktails on the rooftop patio with views of SMA. We had sunsets and a full moon. The walk to town was easy but cobblestones are no joke so sneakers a must. The massages were the best we have had. The NEST crew were also helpful and responsive in fixing the internet and the safe. We fell in love with the place and with SMA. Travel here soon before it gets discovered. It has the culture of a large city but the warmth, ease of navigation and family feel of a village. We actually ran into people on our walking tour several times. While we loved all we did and all Wendys suggestions for food one of our favorite activities was the botanical gardens. What a hidden gem. Short Uber ride will get you there. We loved tacos Fernando’s street tacos and dining at the Atrio looking right at the parroquia!

We have stayed at many Airbnb's, but Wendy's was exceptional. Every room was impeccably decorated with its own patio and bath. Her communication was better than expected. The transportation to and from the airport went so smoothly. We loved the tour of San Miguel which was included. She arranged for chefs to come to in and prepare a special diner on Valentine day. That was really special. Her advice on wearing the proper shoes was right on, but UBER service was available. This place is so special!

I can't say enough good things about this property or the support from such a great host, Wendy. Most properties look their best in the pictures, but not so with this property. We thought it was much better in person! It's the perfect location for 3 couples or a family. Each king size bedroom has its own bath and patio area. Even though the property is nestled in a quaint hillside location with other homes, there is a sense of privacy with every room. The property is also extremely quiet and well located. We followed Wendy's recommendation for chefs to come to the house to prepare a meal and were very pleased with the quality of food and pricing. The house is beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable. I can't recommend this property enough. It ranks in one of the top properties of our travel throughout the world!

What a beautiful home! I wish that I could hire the person who decorated this home to decorate mine. It’s authentically Mexican with modern amenities. It’s located off a private and quiet road, yet walkable to a beautiful park and the city center. Each room has a lovely king bed and en suite bath. There are several areas inside and out that you can sit and enjoy your surroundings. The landscaping and lighting are wonderful, along with two water features! Wendy was the best! From the moment we booked until we left she was incredibly helpful, making recommendations for restaurants, and massages and catered dinner at the home. She was always quick to reply and kind. We travel and use AirBnB often - this was one of the most best homes and host!

This was my family's first time to San Miguel and Wendy's house was the perfect place for our visit. The home is beautiful in a lovely neighborhood with all the amenities we needed. I loved the experience of staying in a traditional San Miguel home with the brick domed ceiling, multiple balconies/courtyards, gas fireplaces, and views of the neighborhood and city beyond. And to make our stay even better, Wendy was an extremely responsive and helpful host. Her list of recommendations was invaluable and made the trip one we won't forget! Be sure to book a few meals with the wonderful chefs and a massage with Cindy/Norma!

Wendy was fantastic! She was very responsive, gave us great recommendations, helped us book the chefs for breakfast(it was so delicious and a great experience!), and make sure we had everything we needed. We loved everything about this house! Fresh flowers, beautiful home decor, comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen, and a terrace with an amazing view! The terrace was one of our favorite places to relax and have a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at night. We were so happy with our stay, and we definitely want to come back here!

Casa Dulcinea is a perfect blend of colonial and contemporary decor! The kitchen is equipped for chefs. Each room is meticulously thought out. All needs are anticipated. The beds are comfortable. The linen and sheets are crisp and delightful. The fire places in each room are nice for the chilly nights and crispy mornings. Each room has a patio/courtyard that is melancholic and harmonious as you listen to the water falling through the fountains. The rooftop is scenic; you can see the fireworks at night and admire the Parroquia of San Miguel. Our stay was memorable and we felt as if we were home! Luis the gardener was attentive. The chef Felicia cooked each meal from scratch and is was splendid. Special thanks to Wendy! I definitely recommend Casa Dulcinea… Until next trip.❤️ Saludos Cordiales..

This house is even prettier than the photos reflect. All three of the bedrooms feel like a master suite. The outside patios are beautiful and the rooftop terrace has a spectacular view. Wendy went out of her way to connect us to airport transportation. She recommended Jose for transportation within SMA and he was great. We enjoyed a massage and had chefs prepare dinner in the home all with resources recommended by Wendy. Wendy is prompt with communication and truly wants you to enjoy your vacation. Our vacation was exceptional and we hope to come back to beautiful San Miguel again and would love to stay again in this grand and comfortable home.

Wendy's home is gorgeous and so well equipped. She has thought of everything. I loved her artwork and the ourside areas and roof were a real plus. We walked to town several days but at 81 and on cobblestones, it was a bit of doing. But luckily Uber and town taxis are very readily available and inexpensive. For three single bedroom suites, it was perfect for us. I especially appreciated how Wendy reached out to us and made great suggestions ( getting our transport to and from the airport and a walking tour, and first night dinner set up). I have never had an airbnb host that did all that.

Wendy's place, Casa Dulcinea, exceeded all of our expectations. From start to finish it was spectacular. Wendy is the most responsive host and was always there for questions and guidance, as was Jerry. The listings were very useful and we tried many of the recommendations and were so impressed. The extra touches we loved were the fountains with the magical sounds of water, the many places to sit outside each with a unique view and character, the books and games available, the kitchen is beyond wonderful and so pretty, the art a feast for the eyes, the beds were all of top quality and I could go on. She has thought of every luxury and need. What made our trip even more special were Jose who made us breakfast (best chilaquiles I ever had and we live in Austin - no comparison), the airport pick up and drop off staff and drivers, our side trips to La Gruta and to Guanajuato. Aldo is an absolute incomparable tour guide, also many thanks to Emma from Follow Me Tours and Raul and Ezat.

Casa Dulcinea is such a beautiful place to stay! The second we walked into the place it felt like we had hit the jackpot of airbnbs. Every detail of this place is immaculate from the interior to the views and of course Wendy. Wendy is so kind, helpful, and goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is comfortable and that you are well taken care of. Not to mention, the casa is an easy walk into the main center. We would stay here over and over again! Can't rave about this place enough!!

Such a comfortable, beautiful home ! Really loved all the art pieces on the walls , floors and surfaces throughout— kept you wondering where they found that special piece! The recommendations were spot on ! The transportation arrangements, in home meals by Felisha & Jose, massages with Cindy & Norma, local driver, shops & restaurants were all excellent! The walking tour with Emma of “Follow Me Tours” really helped get acquainted with the towns history and layout before venturing out on our own. The evening sunset observation from the rooftop was the best!

This property and Wendy, the host, were, without a doubt, the best we have ever stayed with. She was attentive and made sure our every want and need was taken care of. She coordinated groceries to be stocked when we got there, and arranged a wonderful babysitter to help with our small children. We had the chefs and masseuse come, and they were all incredible. We enjoyed a beautiful dinner, drinks, and massage all on the rooftop terrace, with its unforgettable views. The house and grounds are beautiful; luxurious without being pretentious; it feels like a dream home. We enjoyed the little touches like the library with books and card games, the TV room ready to stream your apps, and the recommendations from the host and her family that helped guide our trip. We were far enough from Centro that the partying during Semana Santa didn’t wake the kids, but close enough to walk there daily. We are already looking forward to returning and getting to enjoy the magic! Thank you, Wendy!

I have been in San Miguel before and this house is one of my favorites. Wendy's home is stunning! I loved the attention to detail in every room and it's so spacious. Wendy and the property management company made sure we had everything needed to make our trip very enjoyable. The house is located in a quiet area and my friends and I walk to town couple times a day. Wendy's recommendations were also amazing! My favorite one was Hecho in Mexico. I also hired the chefs for breakfast and a taquiza on the roof for our last day. Chefs were friendly and the food was delicious. I will definitely come back and stay at Dulcinea again. I can't wait to return!!

This is probably my favorite Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. The photos don’t do it justice. Wendy’s place is sparkling clean and very well equipped. She’s thought of every detail, and provides great local recommendations. We walked into the town center every day and enjoyed the cooler evenings on the rooftop. The property management company was very communicative and proactive. Will definitely return to this peaceful, beautiful, charming place.

This was the second time I got to stay at Wendy's place and it felt like coming home. It's in a great location. Nice quiet neighborhood, but walkable to Centro. The house is so beautiful and comfortable and the views are the best! Wendy is also very helpful and answers emails promptly. Nest, the management company, is always available for any questions during the stay too. We had the chefs cook dinner one night and that was a lot of fun with great food and service and was very reasonably priced. I highly recommend Wendy's place.

Our stay at Casa Dulcinea exceeded all expectations! I booked a 5 week stay to escape the winter cold and invited friends and family to join me throughout. The house has 3 bedrooms each with their own baths and a living room, media room, dining room and several outdoor spaces. The kitchen was exceptionally well appointed, but Wendy's choices throughout the house made our stay very comfortable. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood just a short walk to/from Centro. We walked everywhere, but strong walking shoes are a must for the cobblestoned streets and hills throughout SMA. Taxis are cheap and readily available, if needed (particularly back up the hill). Wendy sent a great deal of information ahead of time and provided a contact to book transportation to/from the airport. This was much appreciated given the number of times I needed transport for visitors. The local staff was also very responsive during the stay. Thanks for a great stay!!

We loved our stay at Wendy's. We had an amazing experience. The house was simply beautiful with lots of outdoor places. The neighborhood is very quiet and offers a magnificent view of San Miguel de Allende. All within walking distance. We chose to have chefs for our meals. José and Feliza cooked delicious dishes and were so nice to us and the kids. Everything was very well organized and very clean. We will come back without hesitation

Where to start? Wendy’s home was perfection from start to finish. Before we arrived, Wendy treated our vacation as though she were planning her own. She offered loads of advice, contacts to locals (well vetted drivers, babysitters, tour guides, ect), and general concern and care of our questions. We arrived to an impeccable home on one of the most beautiful streets in San Miguel. The home is VERY well appointed for group travel, with three bedrooms/bathrooms allowing each person privacy and space. Hosts throw around the words “chef’s kitchen”, but Wendy’s truly is. You name it, it’s there. The best equipped kitchen I’ve ever encountered in my travels. Oh….and the views…it DOES NOT get any better in SMA then the view from Casa Dulcinea. What are you waiting for? There is no better home in San Miguel. Stop searching. PS Jerry and Sergio, the house managers, are absolute gems. You will be well cared for.

Rented out for my wedding and had chefs come in to cook. Host was super friendly and helped set everything up for us. Check-in was very easy. And we rented 2 properties out and the team was super friendly and helpful. Having a destination wedding is stressful and they really helped ease our stress! We had to check out of one property and go into the other and accidentally left with a set of key and we were able to return them without any issues and they were very nice about it.

This was our third stay at Wendy's gorgeous Casa Dulcinea and for the third time we were absolutely blown away by every single aspect of the trip. Wendy is, hands down, the best Airbnb host with whom we've ever worked and she goes so far above and beyond even the highest expectations. Additionally, the property is absolutely stunning, squeaky clean, and extremely well equipped for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The local management company that Wendy uses is also extremely responsive, friendly, and helpful. The location, up the hill from the Centro, means you have some of the best views in the city, which you can take in from the amazing rooftop deck and you can take lots of gorgeous pictures to make your friends back home jealous. It's also very walkable to the Centro, to all the best restaurants, and to the grocery stores (all is less than a 20 minute walk, most being much less). Do yourself a favor and look no farther than Casa Dulcinea for your next trip to San Miguel de Allende!

Wow! Casa Dulcinea is gorgeous, inside and out. Sparkling clean, well-appointed kitchen, comfortable rooms, and well-equipped for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The rooftop decks were great for morning coffee and beautiful sunsets. The location was great -- just up the hill a bit from El Centro. Walkable, but out of the din, in a pretty neighborhood. Wendy is a wonderful host - offering great advice and connection to reliable services, and their in-town management was spot-on. We can't wait to come back!

My best friend and I loved this home for my birthday week! The home is immaculate, clean and full of interesting art. Several patios to choose to lounge on. We enjoyed the rooftop every morning and then again for sunsets! We had their private chefs come our first night there which made it especially welcoming. The food was amazing! And the mango margaritas were the best! It’s in a lovely neighborhood a short distance walk or drive to downtown.

Everything about this home was 5 stars! The home was even better than the pictures and was SPOTLESS. Wendy, Jerry from Nest, the Chefs and Follow me Tours all exceeded expectations and made the trip absolutely wonderful and relaxing.

Casa Dulcinea is a very comfortable, nicely furnished, well equipped, well located, first class accommodation. The kitchen is perfect. Our group particularly enjoyed the many private outdoor patios and especially the expansive rooftop with a spectacular view. The whole place just 'feels good".

Casa Dulcinea was absolutely perfect, pristine, cozy and beautifully appointed. Walking distance to local shopping and restaurants. Amazing views from the rooftop. Wonderfully cozy at night with the fireplace. Just perfect in every way. Wendy went the extra mile to ensure we had a good stay and assisted with transportation as well which was VERY helpful — if you’re not renting a car, follow her advice!!! Thanks again. I can’t say enough good things about this home. It is located a 15-20 minute walk from Centro. It felt close enough to be part of the city, but far enough to grant privacy. This home is magical with multiple patios and rooftop areas to dine and enjoy the view. Each bedroom is tastefully decorated with en suite bathrooms and comfortable king- size beds. Wendy set up transport to and from the airport for us. This offered me piece of mind as a single mother traveling with teens. I felt secure and pampered during the entire stay. You won’t regret staying here!

Wendy and team were awesome! I booked this trip as a honeymoon gift for my son and his new wife. The house/location was an a amazing experience! Bring comfy walking shoes! Don’t let your feet give out before the adventure ends in San Miguel!

Amazing find!

A glorious home in a great location! Incredible views from the 3 roof top terraces, and a lovely private patio off the dining room for coffee and croissant desayuno! Wendy has equipped the kitchen with more tools than we have in our kitchen at home, and you can easily host a dinner party of 20 (not that you'd want to...you're on vacation after all!). Bed linens are ironed and crisp white. 5 star. Comfy walking shoes are a must...the cobbles can be brutal, and it's a slight uphill to the house. Loved our stay!

Casa Dulcinea is located on hilly smaller streets, but worthwhile the long walk to the center. House is clean, comfortable with lovely grounds and beautiful views at the terrace! It requires a taxi at times when u walked all day exploring! We would do it again.

The Casa was as described by other renters! We utilized the entire casa. Laundry, Kitchen, Dining, Living, Den, Bedrooms n most of all the Patios. Essentials in the kitchen was perfect for making breakfast (which I did a couple of mornings). Top Patio was breathtaking in the mornings after yoga n coffee, along w the fireworks at night. ,Walking daily to the restaurants on San Antonio and/or El Centro was breath taking(literally) lol…. Taxi cab rides. Great Proximity. Please wear comfortable shoes, because of the cobblestone roads. Take your time, everything is slow in San Miguel… We didn’t get to see but just a glimpse of San Miguel. Already planning another trip in December.

Casa Ducinea exceeded our expectations in every way. The home is beautiful, the hosts incredibly responsive, the beds amazingly comfortable, the views spectacular and proximity to the Center was perfect!….close enough to walk, but far enough to escape to peace and quiet. We can’t wait to return!

The house was perfect for our stay. It was extremely clean and well-appointed. The host made arrangements to accommodate our arrival and make sure we were comfortable. The house is located in a very nice neighborhood and accessing the wonderful sights of SMDA was very easy from the house. We would completely recommend staying as the house was impeccable, well situated and the property managers were professional.

If you are looking for a Luxury rental you can’t go wrong with this beautiful 3 bed 3 bath casa. I know this sounds like an ad, but it’s not. Too many great surprises that awaits you. Don’t second guess this one! Wendy is a perfect host but Jerry the property manager makes the stay over the top.

This house is amazing! Absolutely beautiful bedrooms all with their own bathrooms. The kitchen is wonderful, especially when Chief Jose and his wife come in to cook a great meal for you! It’s a bit out of town with an unbelievable panoramic view. I highly recommend staying here. I will be staying a full week in my next visit!!

This home is a treasure. Dealing with Wendy and Jerry was a delight and we had everything we needed. Each bedroom is completely appointed and the kitchen as well. We loved all the outside spaces, the amazing views of the city and surrounding areas as the sun set and the lights came on. There were 3 of us and none of us wanted to leave. It is a short and beautiful walk to the Jardin and Wendy gave us great directions to some of the best food in the city. Beautifully furnished, this is a "don't miss."

I have always prided myself as a Superhost, but experiencing Wendy’s Casa Dulcinea makes me think I’ve been a schlep all these years next to Wendy’s impeccable taste for detail, high-end care and concern for her guests’ stays, and utter trust in allowing the general public into such a curated space. In the book called ‘Hacienda’ on her living room coffee table, there is a saying by Luis Barrigan that perfectly describes Casa Dulcinea: “I think that the ideal space must contain elements of magic, serenity, sorcery and mystery.” There should really be another level of Superhosts for people like Wendy. A truly sublime space and experience ~

Casa Dulcinea is a wonderful place to stay in San Miguel de Allende! Close to many restaurants and Centro. It is a lot of walking, so bring your most comfortable shoes! Beautiful views from the roof tops. Property managers are also great and very helpful.

I can't say enough about this place! we loved all the touches, fireplaces, fantastic kitchen, outdoor dining spots, and location of the house....very well equipped! I also enjoyed a great massage, and we had the chefs come around to do a dinner party for us one evening. I'll be back!

When my family and I first began searching for a home where we could stay the week of my wedding, we knew we wanted a home that was spacious, close to the city center, with gorgeous views of beautiful San Miguel de Allende. That being said, my family and I cannot put into words how amazed we are with Casa Dulcinea. As soon as we stepped in, we knew we had made the right decision in staying there. Each room had its own unique traits, but the house as a whole made it so that no matter how busy or tired we were during the week of my wedding - we never forgot to take a second and appreciate the beauty of where we were - in one-of-a-kind San Miguel de Allende. And even if, for a split second, the stress of planning a large event became a bit overwhelming, all we had to do was take a few minutes on one of the gorgeous terraces or outdoor gardens to calm ourselves down. Wendy is so accommodating and really went out of her way to ensure that we had everything we needed that week. The kitchen was stocked with every appliance we could ask for. The fireplaces were essential in late November and gave us that cozy feeling after nights of 40 degree Fahrenheit weather. Wendy even scheduled a masseuse for the day before our first big wedding event so that we could be relaxed and refreshed for the beginning of our festivities. We truly could not have asked for a better home or host! We cannot recommend Casa Dulcinea enough - our stay was an absolute dream!

Excellent vacation from start to finish! Wendy was amazingly responsive, informative, and helpful to any and all questions and requests She is a pleasure to work with and the absolute BEST host I have ever experienced! The house is remarkably beautiful – spacious, ultra clean, tastefully and comfortably decorated, with a fully-furnished kitchen. We especially enjoyed the outdoor terraces and rooftop patio which offered extraordinary views of the city. While we enjoyed discovering San Miguel we equally enjoyed coming back to the comforts of home at Casa Dulcinea. I would highly recommend booking this property!

The home is beautiful and located in a beautiful neighborhood… Wendy was amazing with communication, recommendations from transportation to and from Airport with a free walking tour included-the tour was amazing, chefs-Feliza and Jose, incredible massages at the house, list of restaurants-have to have the grilled cheese sandwich at Inside Cafe and shops! Wendy and Patrick’s home was everything and more than we were expecting. Just hanging out on any of the beautiful balconies or patios and enjoying the phenomenal view and weather would have made the trip complete. Every room is unique with beautiful accessories and artwork. We were a group of grandparents, adult children and an adult grandchild. We could easily gather for meals or just hanging out, or having private time and space to ourselves. Wendy was a delight to work with. She was always prompt in replying to any questions we had, as well as her property manager, Jerry, and Emma for tours and assistance with everything about San Miguel and Guanajuato. The property is located in a gorgeous, quiet neighborhood. Yet it is just a short walking distance to the center of town. Jerry was great with suggestions for everything from where to get street tacos to who to come to the house for a massage, to how to get taxis. Emma arranged for all of our transportation needs including airport transportation and tours, as well as our COVID tests. Her walking tours are great and the winery tour is not to be missed. The home had everything we needed and way more. We enjoyed cooking several nights in the well equipped kitchen and with food from La Comer, suggested by Jerry. We’ve made all of our friends and family jealous, and eager to join us on our next trip. We have not travelled to Mexico before and are going home with amazing memories and positive experience. The house is as beautiful as it is pristine. We came for a weekend wedding and quickly regretted not booking more days. It’s like walking into a beautiful magazine spread highlighting the Mexican culture. You feel at home instantly. The property manager and their employees are all so very helpful as well just in case you need anything including help scheduling a Covid test for your flight back if needed. I don’t know how else to describe Casa Dulcinea and the entire town of San Miguel other than to say both were magical. My husband, 3 children and I spent a week at this beautiful Airbnb. The architecture, culture, people, art and food make this a perfect vacation spot. The house is architecturally stunning - the online pictures don’t even adequately capture the beauty and magic of this house. The rooms are generously sized, the beds were all very comfortable and the house is immaculately clean. There are terraces off off of each room and the views are amazing. We asked the cook to prepare breakfast and dinner for us on several occasions which I highly recommend. The food was healthy, delicious and we were able to enjoy rooftop views from the house while dining in. Communicating with Wendy was seemless. She responds promptly and offers great tips and suggestions about activities and restaurants. We have stayed at many Airbnb’s, and we all agree that Casa Dulcinea is our favorite. We will most certainly be back within the next year and we will stay at this perfect San Miguel home. Thank you Wendy for an unforgettable family vacation. We can’t wait to come back!

Casa Dulcinea is simply exceptional in every way! This property is beautiful and exactly as pictured. The home is stunning and very tastefully decorated. The artwork and decor are just wonderful. The host and her staff were easily accessible and responsive, and very helpful with everything from helping book our transport from the airport and back, to recommending and booking great walking tours with Follow Me Tours, (thanks Aldo for the excellent tour of Guanajuato and Emma for the tour of San Miguel de Allende and recommendations for best restaurants and off the beaten path things to see and do!). Wendy and her team have thought of everything you might need for a comfortable stay, and those small details were much appreciated. There were chargers in each bedroom, fresh flowers throughout the home and even blankets to wrap up in for chilly evenings on the rooftop patio. Really they thought of nearly everything! The property is in the same neighborhood as the Rosewood Hotel. It’s about a 15 minute walk into the center of town or if you prefer, just a few minutes by taxi. The rooftop views alone make this property a standout, but the attention to detail and the caliber of the staff and host makes the property exceptional. If this property is available then don’t think twice. This is the one to book!

Wow, where do I start? This place is a 1000/10. The location. The space. The cleanliness. The rooftop (whoa, the rooftop). It's simply perfect. If you're on the fence, just stop everything you're doing and just book. It'll be worth it.

First things 1st - Wendy is the ultimate host. I made the right choice to sidestep Rosewood and try a home approach. Comms with Wendy from day 1 was seamless and she had every detail covered from my airport pick up from MexCity to making sure I can get into the house even before check in time. I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Casa Dulcinea! Discovering SMA by day and coming home to the “fully outfitted for relaxation” Casa was the perfect combo. The kitchen was fully equipped, living room felt like home, the bed was made for sleep & siesta (that’s a lot coming from an insomniac lol), the media room was great for staying in & Netflix and the terrace was spectacular for views & brain recharge moments. And lastly, her staff were wonderful and always happy to help. I also felt safe in this pretty neighborhood, a quick 12mins walk to the center. Thanks to Wendy, my first visit to SMA will always be a great memory. Wendy, Thank you for the great hospitality and for the guidance on food, shopping & activities!!! I cannot wait to come back. I have loved staying at Wendy’s place! I first discovered Wendy’s place when friends of mine stayed here and fell in love. And, when I found out that I would be staying here for a few months, I jumped at the chance. Wendy’s place is gorgeous (so many terraces!) and is located in a quiet, safe neighborhood. The best part about Wendy’s place is of course the rooftop terrace and every night I watch the sunset from it while having a glass of wine. And, Wendy herself is so kind and thoughtful. I recommend Wendy’s place 100%

Such a gorgeous house! It is decorated beautifully and has amazing views. We enjoyed wine on the roof top watching the sunset. Check in/out was a breeze. 10-15 minute walk into town.
