Brigida, is a great and responsive hostess. Unique and historic house.

My family and I spent our week at this home in San Juan. Brigida was responsive and helpful through the whole booking process. The house was everything we hoped it would be an more. The onsite staff was there to great us, assist with unloading luggage, and show us around the home. They were always extremely friendly and willing to give us pointers of things to do around the city. The home itself was comfortable and just right for the group of 9. We never felt like we were crowded and the common areas were more than large enough for us to all hang out. I will certainly return to this home in the future.

Our group had an amazing stay at this home! The property is beautiful and well-maintained. Marvin and his family, who live on-site, were very helpful with recommendations and arranging transportation when needed. The location is also fantastic. I highly recommend this home to anyone visiting San Juan Del Sur.

Amazing Home. Marvin was there 24/7 for us. Definitely recommend!!!! Tho i do wish they told us that using the AC at full blast uses about 100kw of energy a day. Keep that in mind, and this place is a gem!!

This is by far the nicest house I have ever rented on Airbnb. The house was first of all very beautiful, very large and clean. Architecturally stunning, and filled with memorabilia from the owners family who must have been into shipping before WWII. Nicaragua is very hot but the house was built to breathe. Much of the indoor portions of the house were wide open to the outside. All of the bedrooms were air-conditioned. The house is built on 6 tiers leading up a mountain. Each level of the house is a separate tier. The house never felt too hot because there were 6 or 7 different spots throughout the house and outdoor patios were you could sit and gather together and avoid the sun. The house is a block and a half from the ocean in San Juan Del Sur, and you can hear the waves. There is plenty of parking. The house is gated and guests are given a key fob to open close the gates. All of the restaurants and nightlife of San Juan Del Sur are walking distance, as is the beach.

This was beyond a traditional Airbnb experience, as it was the best of Airbnb partnered with what felt like the service and concierge of a resort. You are truly immersed in San Juan del Sur here. You will see lots of local wildlife (we saw a turquoise browed motmot). Roberta and Marvin were the kindest, most welcoming people during the entire stay. They gave us recommendations and helped organize transport for our activities. The food they made was amazing - we will all dream about the fish tacos. The house is relaxing and even better than the pictures make it look! We will definitely be coming back!

Ericka was very responsive…and Martin and Roberta made the experience so wonderful! They were helpful and great to have around! The pool and outdoor space is beautiful and it is walkable to everything in town!

La Mar/Casa Holmann exceeded our family’s expectations. To start, our host Brigida Ericka was very attentive and the homes personnel Marvin and Roberta were exceptional. They accommodated our needs and were always available showing us the true Nicaraguan spirit. Secondly, the house is very unique and private. The house is adorned with history and the design is one of a kind. You feel like you’re in the jungle but then realize you’re in San Juan del Sur, next to the beach. In regards to location, it is fantastic as it is about a two minute walk to the beach, a minute to the park and a few minutes away from restaurants and stores. My family and I have stayed at a few Airbnb’s and this is by far the best experience in terms of the house itself and the services provided. The experience was memorable and we hope to stay there again in the future. We highly recommend this house for anyone looking for a unique experience and exceptional services.

The location is perfect, close to the beach, the house is spectacular and the service is unbeatable! A definitely very special place!

Host was amazing and made sure we had all required information well in advance before traveling. House was incredible and the house manager was fantastic! Some Of the best food on our trip was the BBQ at the house our first night!

The house is amazing! We enjoyed the pool and outdoor spaces and the bedrooms were all comfortable. Marvin and Roberta took great care of us and we especially enjoyed the breakfast every morning. Thank you for a great stay!

OMGOODNESS!!! This was maybe THE BEST AirBNB experiences we’ve ever had. From Ericka helping to make it possible on a quick booking to Marvin and Roberta as our host/hostess to the incredible periphery - this was a kings paradise. Close to everything. The other locations would but have given us half the enjoyment of experiencing San Juan del Sur. God willing - we will return to this place to be pampered and spoiled by these wonderful folks.
