6BR Villa in Puerto Vallarta

Good, 1 month ago

what an amazing place, group o 7 with an additional showing up late. accomodations were made for pick up and delivery for all. Juan, Caesar, margarita and all involved were top notch. food was amazing no need planning leave it to margarita she will not disappoint. Juan secured several boat accommodations from fishing to group snorkling and trip to Yelapa for lunch. place is expensive, however if you are familiar with PV private beaches (with sand) and few. we had ample space on the beach, and rocks in front of the patio where we watched leopard rays, turtles, fish, dolphines from the patio daily. cannot express how great this place was, if I had to post a complaint it would be the water was 84 haha what a complaint. thanks to all, and the staff. hope to see you all soon!

Thanks for the kind words Buck!

Our stay at Casa Salinas was enjoyable. The layout of the house was amazing. There was an issue of a strong sewage smell in the top bedroom and luckily one of the older kids took the room and dealt with it. The elevator was great to get our luggage dispersed but my son got stuck in it and so did one of the staff so it became out of service during our stay. The pool was well kept but doesn't get a lot of sun so we had it heated. The kitchen staff had chips, guac, salsa and margaritas upon our arrival all very tasty. If you want authentic mexican food be really clear and confirm your menu choices. We were given a lot of costco items and with a couple chefs in our group that was hard to brush off. The location of the house is relaxing and really easy to get down to zona romatica, boca, or mismaloya. The majority of the rooms are really comfortable and spacious. The art and interior design of the house makes you feel like your on vacation. We had a few great swims on the private beach!

We had an amazing time in this home! We brought our three adult children and their children, and there was plenty of space for all. It literally felt like we were at a resort. Outside of each room is open space in greenery and it’s absolutely beautiful. Everybody had a lot of privacy. The staff were amazing, kind and always on time. The food was absolutely delicious. Everyone was so helpful and the host. Lawrence was super responsive and always willing to help. Juan was amazing and also always willing to help. The small private beach was incredible. The pool does not get a lot of sun in the winter, but that isn’t the fault of anyone. It’s just good information to know. The pool was always kept warm and beautiful. We needed baby beds and they had two. Definitely planning on returning again.

Everything was fine

Hi Juan, I’m glad everything was great! Please feel free to reach out if there is anything you think we could have done better, as we always want our customers to have a 5 star experience.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Casa Salinas II! It was everything and more than we could imagine. The view is spectacular and access to the beach was perfect. Sitting by the pool and enjoying the ambiance was just what we needed to relax. Juan, Cesar and Margarita were so accommodating and friendly. The food was delicious and made fresh every day. Our kids enjoyed all kinds of activities including deep sea fishing and jet skis. This is a must stay location and we would love to return in the future!!

We had an excellent stay for my husband’s 50th birthday vacation with our family. There were 12 of us total with a two year old and a 3 month old. The staff made us feel so comfortable, they were all great! They cooked for us, served us drinks and made my husbands birthday so special. We had Mariachis come out, a special dinner, cake and the house manager Juan even surprised him with fireworks. When he saw we had kids they even brought a piñata which was very thoughtful. Great place to stay overall. We had an Uber take us to the malecon a couple times also which was only a 10 minute ride. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

We rented Casa Salinas II for my husbands birthday. There were 12 of us and it fit all of us comfortably. The pool overlooking the ocean is absolutely beautiful! The kitchen staff cooked amazing food and made us drinks all day so we felt very pampered. I did have a little trouble getting the house stocked with the snacks and drinks we needed, but overall it was a wonderful trip! Lawrence (Tito) was very communicative.

Words cannot explain how amazing our stay was. This air bnb was incredible. The staff, the location, the view was everything. We wanted something that would accommodate our whole family. We also had an uncle that was in a wheelchair and this Air BNB has an elevator, especially if somebody in your family is handicap or is older. Most of all the staff was absolutely incredible. They cook for you every day, you pay for groceries separately. It was totally worth the stay and the money. We are very appreciative of Lawrence’s staff to include Juan, Margarita, Cesar and Teresa. Juan will take care of everything. The beds were so comfy and the sheets felt amazing. Love Casa Salinas!!! We are coming back ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thank you Kattya. We can't wait to have you and your family stay with us again soon.

Upon arrival we were greeted by smiling Juan for a house tour. When you step inside you are immediately taken by the view! The house was perfect for our needs. A quiet place for our family (11 + a toddler) to spend quality time while enjoying the pool & beach area. We were greeted every morning with smiles from Cesar who met every need, Margarita who kept our bellies full with her wonderful cooking and Teresa who kept the house spotless. This staff was wonderful! We celebrated a small wedding ceremony and Juan made sure our needs were met, Margarita & Cesar prepared a feast for royalty! From every sunrise to sunset, the view sitting by the warm pool was unforgettable. The beach was lovely, the water was a little too rough for us but it was perfect to catch a sunset from there. I agree that the house needs some TLC but it meets every need for a beach house. You can’t beat this view, and that is priceless. Thank you to Juan, Cesar, Margarita & Teresa for a week we will never forget.

Casa Salinas II is an experience beyond most house rentals. Incredible sounds of crashing waves throughout the property. House staff were welcoming and attentive. Meals were prepared to our specifications, taking into account our dietary restrictions. Food was plentiful and tasty. Loved having daily cocktails made for us by the pool. House was cleaned, sheets/towels were changed daily and any clothes left in the laundry basket were returned neatly laundered. House manager organized us kayaks and a boat trip which were fantastic. House is in a great location, approximately 10 minutes from Zona Romantica. Views are unbelievable, saw dolphins, whales and manta rays from the patio. Pool was clean and warm and plenty of shade areas to relax. Beach was dynamic, some days very rough and rocky, other days less wild and sandy. Wasn't always safe to enter/exit the ocean. House has some delayed maintenance that becomes more noticeable over time. Overall a superb experience, we will be back!

overall a great stay, but fell a bit short of expectations. some negatives. -there is no sand on the beach. a big storm a few months before our stay took all of the sand off of the beach and it is unlikely to be back soon. It was a major buzzkill to have a beach full of hard to navigate rocks and no sandy beach -the house is a bit older and in rougher shape than the listing intimates. they do a good job of keeping it clean but it isn't luxurious feeling at all. hot water is inconsistent. - The heated pool wasn't very heated and a little too cold most of the time. some postives -The dinners prepared by the house cook were absolutely delicious and really fun. really this was the one area that exceeded our expectations. - While the beach was a total let down, and it made it very hard to get into the water..... if you made it, the snorkeling right from the house was excellent. overall we had a great time, but because of the beach situation... makes it hard to justify the cost of the house for what you got.

Host Response

Hi Mark, we know the beach condition is a major disappointment right now, but glad to hear the snorkeling was good! We take all feedback to heart and will be closing for an entire month to do upgrades and maintenance on the villa in the new year. We are also looking into the sporadic water heater issues and will resolve asap. Thanks again for staying with us. Hope to see you in Vallarta again soon.

Beautiful home in beautiful location, with a few drawbacks in November 2022; 1. There’s not enough sunlight. 2. It’s too dangerous to walk anywhere. 3. The beach is not ocean accessible 4. Cold water showers - brrrr I would request more authentic Mexican food on the menu. I felt the food was too American. Even the hot chocolate was made from chocolate sundae syrup. I wanted Mexican hot chocolate made from scratch, and pan dulce in the mornings. At least one of our meals was made from string beef in a bag. On the plus side the house staff is very kind and engaging.

Hi Robert, we know the beach condition is a major disappointment after the recent storm. Thank you for the kind words about the villa and staff. We appreciate the feedback and we are looking into improving the experience for all future guests. We will be closing for a full month in the new year to upgrade systems and do maintenance to the villa. Regarding meals - I'm sorry your experience didn't live up to expectations. Our team can cook some truly amazing Mexican food upon request. Thanks again for staying with us. Hope to see you in Vallarta again soon.

This was our first stay at home with a staff. We never lifted a finger during our stay. Our rooms were cleaned daily, and we never had to cook a meal or clean up afterward. This had to be one of the most relaxing vacations we have been on. Juan and Cesar were phenomenal and catered to any of our requests. They arranged for transportation for us to go into town, as well as made arrangements for us to go on a boat ride and utilize jet skis right from our own beach. You can also go snorkeling just a few steps away from the house. Our meals were delicious, there was always a variety and they took into consideration the dietary restrictions that some of our party had. This was one of our favorite vacations because we were in such an amazing home and location.

Great location and gorgeous view. Very accommodating. Lovely staff and enjoyable meals. Made my 30th birthday special. Recommend the boat ride. Don’t need to leave the airbnb if you don’t want to, but fun to go to town. I will say need to communicate frequent because some requests were missed/misunderstood, but they did their best to adjust. Also wifi is a bit spotty and not great service at the house. The house could have a few updates. For example a few of the showers don’t have great pressure and don’t stay warm long. The soaking tub had some issues with the jets etc. but overall 100% recommend the stay. We might come back!

We had the most unforgettable stay with our friends celebrating my husband’s 50th birthday. Casa Salinas II is a stunning villa with breathtaking ocean views. The location was fantastic as it is just a short cab ride away to town, but also felt very private. The amazing staff is what really makes this place special. Juan, the house manager, was wonderful arranging anything we needed including the use of his boat for a day of sightseeing and snorkeling. The chefs prepared delicious meals, bartenders always had a margarita ready for us, and the housekeeping kept the place very tidy. I highly recommend this villa and we are already talking about coming back.

This villa was incredible and looked just like the pictures in the listing. Three of the bedrooms are amazing with ocean views and two of the bedrooms are towards the back of the building but still nice. The house is also fully stocked and has A/C. Only downside is that it's north facing so doesn't get sunlight all day. There's a private beach and tanning deck though so not a big deal. The staff were very helpful - they prepared all of our meals for us, helped organize activities such as jet skiing and scuba diving, cleaned up our mess every day, and were all super friendly. No extra charge for the service - we were only charged for the groceries. Overall, I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Very good deal for the location, quality, and level of service.

I celebrated my 40th birthday at Casa Salinas II with a group of 6 of my favorite women -- and we absolutely loved our experience! The infinity pool area has incredible views of the ocean and beach, and we had our own private stair access down to the beach shared only by the villa next door. We had so much fun rotating between swimming in the pool, and sunning on the beach. We particularly loved that there was a shade palapa and chairs on the beach, as well as a sun deck that jutted out over the ocean -- which gave us the option to enjoy either sun or shade depending on our mood. Four of the six bedrooms have stunning ocean views. Our AirBnB host Lawrence (i.e. Tito) and the onsite villa manager Juan were exceptional communicators. Juan seamlessly arranged van transport to and from the airport, taxis to dinner, COVID tests at the villa -- and best of all a private boat ride to a gorgeous secluded beach that we otherwise would not have been able to access. The full house and kitchen staff was friendly and helpful -- and was able to accommodate dietary needs for guests who were gluten-free, dairy-free or pescatarian. They prepared a special birthday dinner complete with cake and sparkler candles at the villa, which was very special. Their steak is a specialty and very delicious. We would definitely visit again!

Amazing property - stunning ocean views from every corner, amazing common areas to gather, decorated beautifully. 10/10 would recommend!

Staying at this villa was a dream. The property is located right on the beach - which means amazing views from the house & infinity pool, with essentially private beach access that’s all set up with chairs, towels, and shade if you want it. It was picturesque. The staff are AMAZING! They make you breakfast, lunch, dinner (fresh fruit, made to order eggs, fresh salsa & guac... you name it!), clean every day, make a mean pina colada & marg, lay out towels for the pool, and even do laundry. It’s some of the best, friendliest service we’ve ever had. Juan can even arrange a trip out on his boat. It’s easy to get into town (a $2 Uber) to get delicious oysters, street tacos, etc- but we didn’t leave too much because the house was honestly amazing. We will definitely be back - maybe for an event so we can book both houses on the property
