This is a real gem - the photos are great, but the place is even better in person - under promised and over delivered! Everything was pristine, the decor and amenities were really well thought through - everything was provided. We have really high standards and expectations for Airbnbs we stay in, and this place met them all. Perfect location for everything in the Arenal area. Carlos was super - very responsive, helpful and we really felt that he wanted to take care of us and ensure we enjoyed our stay. Thoroughly recommend staying here! Thanks Carlos.

My family had an amazing stay at Carlos's place. Definitely recommend staying here while visiting La Fortuna. The house had everything we needed, and it was so thoughtful for Carlos to provide snacks and drinks for us as well. The pool was amazing and my kids loved the waterfall. As others guests mentioned, we also loved the views from the balcony. I would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing stay in La Fortuna, Costa Rica. The home was absolutely beautiful and pristinely clean. We felt very safe and comfortable the entire time. Carlos, the host, was incredibly kind and maintained excellent communication, making sure we had everything we needed. He even welcomed us with delicious Costa Rican coffee and snacks, which was such a thoughtful touch. The property itself was stunning. The pool area was a highlight—very clean, relaxing, and featuring a lovely little waterfall that made it feel like a private oasis. We could see Arenal Volcano from multiple spots, including the pool area, the deck, the bedroom, and even the game room, which made the experience even more special. The yard was filled with lush, vibrant plants, and we loved watching hummingbirds and other birds all around us. Overall, one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed—we would absolutely stay here again.

This is one of the greatest places It is next to the La fortuna main area, very easy to get any places. The house was extremely clean and cozy. Pool was also clean and nice. the host was very kind and responsive. My family had wonderful time at this place. We definitely want to come back this house and highly recommend it

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this home in La Fortuna! The location was perfect and super close to town, yet it still felt very private and peaceful. It was the perfect amount of space for our family with two teenagers, and we felt comfortable the entire stay. The view of the volcano from the back deck was incredible. We loved sitting out there each morning with our coffee and taking in the scenery. After long days of adventures, coming back to relax in the pool was so refreshing. The house was spotless, very comfortable, and had everything we needed. The host was also extremely communicative, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, we highly recommend this property and would absolutely stay here again!

Amazing house. Well appointed. Pool was great. Very close to town but felt like you were in the country. They really need to promote the balcony more. We spent a lot of time up there looking at the volcano, drinking coffee, drinking wine, grilling food, watching crazy lightening storms. Great spot. We own a couple of Air BnB properties as well and this place is done very well.

Impeccably clean, beautifully appointed, perfectly located in a quiet serene spot with a gorgeous volcano view but only 5 minutes outside of the center of town, and with a thoughtful and communicative host! This is our first time in Costa Rica so we’re looking for something that felt safe clean and close to everything. This hit all marks. We would definitely come back. The hosts were super responsive and helpful. The views of the field and volcano when the clouds weren’t out was awesome. 10 out of 10.

Loved our stay. Felt right at home. Had everything we needed and more. Was very safe with many security features. Enjoyed the amazing view of the volcano, the birds, trees, and cows in the pasture. Washer/dryer was indispensable with the many outdoor activities we were doing. Pool was refreshing. Appreciated the snacks and drinks provided since we arrived later than expected and didn’t have time to get groceries on our way in. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!!

We had an amazing experience at this house. This is one of the top Airbnb’s we have ever stayed at. Looks exactly like the pictures. Very clean. Pool was great to cool off during the day or lit so you can use at night too. You can watch the sun set over the volcano from the pool or balcony. The house was designed and laid out - sliding glass doors separate the rooms so we all felt like we had some space. The house was well stocked for cooking and Carlos left some snacks and drinks for us when we arrived. Carlos was also very responsive. When we had an issue with the hot water, he was there within 30 minutes to fix it. The location is close to several restaurants, supermarket, and activities, but the house itself is near some farmland with cows so it is very secluded and quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

We had an outstanding visit to La Fortuna and this home was perfect in every way. The location is very close to town with lots of restaurants and activities close by. It was clean, spacious, beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed. Carlos and his team were quick to respond with any questions we had. We’ve stayed in a number of Airbnbs during our travels over the years and agree that this is one of the best. The home is just on the outskirts of town and gives a remote feel with access to shops, restaurants and grocery stores just minutes away. Five star stay for sure!

We had a great stay at Carlos' in La Fortuna. The place exactly complied with the description and was very clean. We especially enjoyed the pool, which was well maintained by Carlos, and the fantastic view of the Arenal volcano from the back porch on the upper floor. A small note for the following: In the kitchen there is only cold water for washing and no dishwasher – for us that was okay, but good to know. Overall a very nice place, we were very satisfied!

Everything about this home was spotless, well tended to, and thoughtfully appointed. We were amazed at how well maintained and clean the home and entire property was. The garden was beautiful, the view and peaceful surroundings most enjoyable, and the private pool was absolutely stunning. The immaculately clean interior space was just right for our group of two couples. Bedrooms and bathrooms were perfectly equipped and spotless. Our favorite spaces to hang out were the covered front patio by pool, and the covered back balcony. Sitting here and listening to the rain was the best! We would definitely stay at this property again. On top of being a beautiful, comfortable home, the location was perfect for our 3- day stay in La Fortuna, and afforded us prime home base to do all the things this part of Costa Rica offers. We loved being in the peaceful outskirts of town. If you’re thinking about traveling here, do not hesitate to rent this property!! You’ll be thoroughly pleased!

We loved this place! 5-10 min from downtown area, super quiet, clean and the host was very responsive. We asked to turn the waterfall on a few times and it was turned on within the minute! Beautiful views with a nice balcony for sunset hour. The birds woke us up every morning and we loved watching the 1000s of butterflies in the field. Cow zoomies were a plus. Ubers had no problem getting to us and we felt very safe. Would not stay anywhere else if we returned to La fortuna.

Carlos met us at the house when we arrived and made us feel at home. We loved the location and was close to all our activities. We wish we had a few more days here! It was clean, and a beautiful view.

Beautiful property. Good beds, great water pressure, air conditioner in all bedrooms and living room. The kitchen was well stocked. The pool was beautiful and my kids used it whenever it wasn't raining. The view from the upstairs porch is breathtaking. They have a crockpot! No complaints and would stay here again.

We (2 parents, 3 teenagers) spent 4 days at Crystal Gafdens. It is as beautiful (or more) than the pictures. Private street away from the busy highway leading into La Fortuna. Nice big drive up with beautiful trees. Felt very safe and secure and private. Automatic gate, locks for all exterior and even most interior doors. Very clean. Beds very comfortable, bathrooms well equipped. Family loved the great internet. Strong AC units in all bedrooms and living room Carlos was very hospitable - he accommodated our request to store bags there before check in so we could keep an appointment and he accommodated our request to use the laundry machines; he provided helpful food and activities guides/recommendations. Carlos was also super responsive via Airbnb messaging. For the parents, really enjoyed a cup of coffee or two on the balcony overlooking the peaceful farm with Arenal Volcano in distance. So relaxing and was the highlight of our mornings. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

An amazing stay from start to finish. An impeccably clean place with a beautiful pool, kitchen, washrooms and bedrooms. A very thoughtfully stocked place in a great location. The pool was lovely. We very much appreciated the little treats on arrival. There was a great empanada stand a quick drive away. Carlos was always quick to answer any questions we had. Beautiful place. Beautiful pool. No bugs. Loved the garage because when it was raining we could pull up and load and unload the car. The air conditioning worked great. So did the heater- that we used to dry our shoes. The rain showers were amazing with lots of hot water. The nearby restaurant LAS TABLAS was phenomenal by far the best food here. The Salto rope swing and sloth trail was nearby. The place was extremely safe. Highly recommended. Our host also reached out to offer the washer and dryer which was locked in a room.

Our stay at Carlos and Priscilla's home was easily one of our favorite Airbnb experiences in the world! Their home looked even more stunning in person. From the moment we arrived, we were in awe of the breathtaking view of Arenal Volcano right from the bedroom window. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the bathrooms were spotless and particularly gorgeous. The pool was a true highlight too. It was beautiful, relaxing, and complete with a lovely waterfall too!! They have thought of absolutely everything. Their home is equipped with every amenity imaginable, making our stay incredibly comfortable and convenient. Their hospitality was also so kind and generous. They were always readily available to answer any questions we had and provided great recommendations for food and sights. I would recommend their place 10000000 times over. We are already dreaming of our next visit and can't wait to return! thank you so much for everything!

Carlos’ house was, without exaggeration, the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at. If you’re headed to LaFortuna, this is where you should stay. The house was immaculately clean, the location is very private, the pool was awesome, and you can’t beat waking up to the views of Arenal volcano. A short drive to all the restaurants, shops, and grocery stores downtown. Very close to all the tours and hot springs we booked. Do yourself a favor and book this house.

We had a wonderful stay! The unobstructed views of the volcano from the house were even better than those from our hikes—absolutely stunning. Worth every penny. Our group of six felt very comfortable throughout the stay. The house was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The outdoor space was perfect for morning coffee and evening unwinding. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful. Just be prepared for some mosquitoes and lizards around the property—which is expected in such a tropical setting. Overall, highly recommend!

I travel a lot and I think this is probably the best air bnb I have ever stayed at! The host was very responsive. The kitchen is well equipped with anything you need to cook with including some spices, lots of coffee etc. The apartment was extremely clean and provided lots of bathroom amenities and towels for the pool and shower. The pool was absolutely amazing, lovely balcony with BBQ, beautiful view and sounds of nature, peaceful yet only 5 min drive from the city and all the restaurants. Very safe. Comfortable beds and pillows. I hope to visit again someday!

Beautiful and tranquil!! The home it self was spectacular! Gorgeous modern and spotless. There is a rooftop patio with a small kitchen that overlooks the volcano where we spent mornings drinking coffee and birdwatching taking in wildlife and the gorgeous view. The pool was a highlight. Clean and beautiful with a timed waterfall that Carlos offered to time for us as our schedule allowed ( we didn't need that but such a nice offer). The home is so close to town and all attractions. Perfect location for us to have some peace and quiet but a quick drive to the city and local attractions. The home was above our expectations and was amazing for everything we need. All instructions were easy to follow. We felt more than safe. Carlos was an amazing host and very responsive. We will definitely choose this home again in the future. -PURA VIDA

We had a fantastic stay. Location was very close to everything (we never drove more than 10 minutes to any of our activities or restaurants) yet the location was very quiet and peaceful. We felt like it was the perfect balance between being close to things but yet just enough outside of town to feel peaceful and rural. We felt like the place looked even better in person than in the pictures. It was perfect for a family of 4 with 2 teenagers.

This place is gorgeous—the photos don’t even do it justice! We were blown away by the breathtaking view of the volcano, which is truly unbeatable. If you’re someone who loves privacy, nature, and having your own little oasis, this is the perfect spot. The property is gated and super private, yet still close to everything in La Fortuna. We were able to Uber to everywhere we wanted to go pretty easily. The rooms are spacious, and the beds are huge and incredibly comfortable—we slept like babies every night. Carlos was fantastic—super responsive and communicative throughout our stay. The thoughtful touch of leaving us fresh fruit and snacks at check-in was such a nice surprise! Highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again!

This was the most unique Airbnb that we’ve ever stayed in! It was even more beautiful than the photos. The view of the cow farm in front of the volcano was incredible. We loved sitting up on the balcony and watching the sunset. We also enjoyed the outdoor table in front of the house where we ate dinner and relaxed at the end of the day. Everything was clean, the pool was clean and a perfect temperature, the location was close to various excursions and restaurants, and Carlos was wonderful. He was very responsive and even accommodated us checking into the house early. Huge thank you to Carlos for this amazing experience. We can’t wait to come back!

This was a fantastic part of our trip in Costa Rica! This AirBNB was perfect for our group of 6. It was nice to be close enough to everything but also have a little distance so you could relax and unwind and not feel like there was too much going on around the place you were staying! Everything was perfectly clean when we checked in and the property was in great shape. The pool was great and super well maintained as well! Carlos was fantastic about answering any questions that we had and helping us to make the most out of our stay there!

This home was perfect for us! The location was extremely convenient as we were out and about most of the days and participating in adventure activities. Additionally, the home was equipped with all the amenities we needed; space for clothing and luggage, bug wipes, kitchen supplies and plenty of towels. Additionally, there was a great security system that had us feeling very safe. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

All I can say about this home is WOW. The place was exactly like how the pictures show - beautiful. It is a peaceful oasis not too far from the main part of town. There were mosquito bracelets, water, and some fruit there when we arrived which was so thoughtful. After a day of adventuring, it was wonderful to come back to Carlos's to rest and recharge. We utilized every amenity that Carlos had to offer and throughout it all, he was responsive and helpful. The beds are so comfortable and the bathrooms are gorgeous. It was so humid and hot in La Fortuna while we were there, but the home always stayed cool and dry which made sleep and resting so amazing. My cousins and I had the best time and we were even able to have a private chef come and cook for us while we stayed. Everyone kept telling me that this airbnb was such a great find and would 10/10 recommend to others, and come back and stay here if we find ourselves in La Fortuna again. Thank you so much Carlos!

Carlos’ house is beautiful. The rooftop deck has a stunning view of the volcano. The cows in the field were fun to watch. When we opened the drapes in the bedroom in the morning they were right outside of our window. Every thing in town was close and easy to get to. I’d be happy to stay there again.

Location was perfect - just a bit out of town for some peace and quiet, but close enough to quickly get to town. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and outdoor dining area, and the house was very clean. Security was never a concern during our visit. We appreciated the welcome drinks and snacks since we had a long day of travel. Carlos was super responsive and helped us with laundry facilities which was nice given how rainy it was during our stay. I would 100% stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean and modern place to stay.

Carlos and Priscilla were amazing hosts. We have stayed at many airbnb properties around the world. This is by far the best home and host experience. 1) Modern home, with lots of amenities and super clean. Very well maintained 2) Close to everything, great location, few minutes away from the town 3) The hosts were super responsive and accommodating. Even though the property did not advertise Laundry services, they helped us with laundry for free. They also extended our check-out time by a few hours without charging any additional fees. The hosts were super attentive and responsive to all our needs. Communication was spot on. Overall we would give a 10 star if the system allowed. But it is a super glowing, highly deserved 5 star. Just an awesome guest experience. We would love to be back again when we are in La Fortuna next time. Cheers

This house is amazing. Carlos is very friendly, extremely responsive and proactive. The house is perfect. The view from the terrace watching the sun go down over the vulcano is breathtaking. The pool has a fence which is great with young kids. The kitchen has every single appliance you can think of and more. We loved cooking. The level of detail make the difference: some fresh fruits, snacks, paper towels and water were there on arrival. A tablet on the counter explaining all the options in the house including WiFi. All the light switches are labeled and all rooms have motion sensor night light which is very convenient if you go the bathroom at night. The beds are very big and comfortable. AC in all rooms which keeps the whole house cool. The house was extremely well cleaned: you can see the love and attention they put in the house. Location is private but very close to all restaurants, shops, etc. I believe strongly this is the best place to stay in la Fortuna: highly recommend it.

The home was beautiful with a great view of the volcano from the pool, the back porch, and the bedroom. La Fortuna was very close, maybe a 4 minute drive. The kitchen had everything we needed. We had breakfast and lunch at home a few days and followed Carlos’s recommendation that were great for the other meals. Many of the local attractions are close and the wildlife in the area is amazing. We visited with a family of four from southeast USA and had way more room than we needed. This was our second time in La Fortuna and love the area. The roads are rough but just pay attention and you will be fine. Strongly recommend this home.
