Spent 2 weeks at this property in June 2025. Overall excellent stay with the hosts very responsive, easy going and professional. They meet us at the home when we arrived along with the caretakers, Andres and Karen. Really appreciate their time and walk though. Hosts - great communication, flexible and easy going. Quick to handle any situation that arises. We had the water pump fail one day and within 3 hours they had a new pump installed and working. Caretakers - Andres & Karen - work very hard keeping everything clean and working. They also cooked us dinner several nights and are great asset to the property. House - plenty of space with all amenities. Only note is there is construction on both sides of the house. I would expect that to be completed in the next 2 months but both houses are high end and it was NOT an issue for us. Beach - clean, warm and shallow. A little sea grass but nothing out of the norm. Nothing within a walking distance so ensure you have a car.

It was super. Everyone had a great time. Please note that my frustration in the beginning way have as much to do with Airbnb as the host.

This home is beautiful. The best home we have rented on Airbnb. Clean, spacious, right on the beach and quiet. Andres and Karen cooked for us and saw to our every need. Excellent experience!!

Thank you for everything! The house is better than in the photos, very nice, spacious kitchen and many living areas. Andrés and Tere who live next to the house can make your beds, clean and cook. Due to the area the light is being followed but they have batteries for some areas. The internet is very nice and wifi signal almost everywhere. The beach is quite private, you hardly see people and there are no street vendors. If it is necessary to contemplate bringing from shampoo, salt, pepper, oil, etc. They have a great coffee machine and they gave us a bag of coffee that makes the owner very rich!

Very good service from Andrés and Karen (the couple who do cleaning and food as an extra service) . Always very attentive and with the house and facilities that are always clean. They offered to do the supermarket, which is an advantage if you prefer to stay relaxed in the house. Roxana was also very helpful and helpful. The beach in general in Chicxulub has a lot of sagarzo, which some people may not like. But overall we highly recommend this house for large families who want to spend time on the beach and relax.

Their place was great and just as advertised. We had Karen and Andrés cook us most dinners and a few lunches. The food was amazing and they were helpful and friendly. So many seashells on the beach. Morning low tide beach combing walks were delightful.

The house is very spacious and beautiful. It is very clean. Communication with Rossana was excellent. Karen and Andrés were very kind and always available when we needed them. We had a spectacular few days - we were a family of 9 adults and a 16 month old baby. We were able to prepare all our breakfasts in the house (from eggs to cochinita pibil). The kitchen is very well equipped. Each room has its own full bathroom; each person had plenty of space to sleep and rest. The communal areas are great for sharing as a group. The terrace (with palapa, hammocks, furniture, bbq and pool) is unbeatable. In addition, the small house complex has a small recreational area for children (which, among other games, has a trampoline). Our baby made the most of it. Needless to say, the beach is not the best. Perhaps due to the time of year or the weather, the amount of algae is spooky. However, it is quiet and private.

Our experience at Gerardo and Rosanna’s house was absolutely incredible and went beyond my highest expectations. Our family of 12 had plenty of space to spread out, both indoors and out. The pool, cabana, and beach are all breathtaking. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, all with a private bathroom which is so nice. And the food!! I HIGHLY recommend hiring Andres and his wife for your meals. It was such a treat to enjoy traditional Yucatán food, and they are both just wonderful people to boot. I cannot recommend this house, with its wonderful hosts and amazing amenities, highly enough. We are already planning our return trip!

Wonderful stay for our group of seven who were escaping the Canadian cold. Perfect for the pickiest of people - beautiful modern design, lots of space for a big group, five washrooms with no ick factor, comfortable beds, wonderful pool area (the outdoor pavillion was a great place to lounge and take a break from the sun), the best coffee machine with amazing coffee. Nice touch to have tons of beach towels available and loved the big green egg BBQ. Having Andres and his wife do breakfast, lunch, the occasional dinner and clean-up is a must (just gave everyone more time to relax and enjoy). I would recommend heading to Costco first in Merida to grab your meats and bulk items because once you're there you don't want to leave! 15 min drive into town, gas station convenience store is 3 min away. Pizza Paradiso at 30.5km is a must do as well!

Gerardo’s house is a stunning and well thought out home. We had a family holiday with both adults and children, and it was enjoyed by all. The kitchen has plenty of equipment for you to cook but you also have the option to have Andres and his wife cook for you. We had them cook us up a delicious welcoming meal of sopa de Lima and panuchos. The meal was delicious! They even helped us out with cleaning and laundry. Which helped us out since we were gone most days on our cenote and Mayan ruin adventures. Highly recommend!

What an amazing place! The house is clean, open, spacious and very welcoming. Your breath goes away when you walk in and see that amazing Ocean view out the sliding doors to the backyard. We had everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable and fun. I highly recommend utilizing Andres and his wife for your meals. Those meals were better than any restaurant that we tried. We can’t wait to stay again and thank you so much Gerardo and Rossana for the memories and amazing vacation.

This place is beautiful, spacious and private. The house is beautifully designed, modern and yet welcoming, with plenty of room both indoors and outdoors - there is everything you need for a comfortable stay and the WiFi is very fast and reliable. The huge furnished patio, a handful of steps above the beach, is what made us fall in love with the house and the location; the pool and easy access to the ocean are perfect for cooling off on the very hot days. We stayed during the winter months, so there weren’t too many people around, which made it feel very serene and relaxed – perfect for the new ‘working from home’ reality – yet met a few friendly neighbours to enjoy drinks and bbqs with at sunset! Rossana and Gerardo, the owners, were very responsive throughout our stay, friendly and available for any questions we had – and super welcoming of our puppy, which made it even better for us. Andres and Karen, the care takers, live on the property, which means they are always available to clean the pool, the patio and the house on request, or help with any other request (including delicious fresh coconut water!). They are extremely nice and helpful! Plus, Andres’ mum is a phenomenal cook and she prepared delicious Yucatecan food for a large dinner with friends. I cannot recommend this place enough…and cannot wait to come back soon!

Our stay of 4 couples for a week in this 5-bedroom house was very pleasant. It is 15 km from Progreso. It is very spacious, bright, well distributed and equipped. The kitchen has everything you need in excellent condition. The new refrigerator. The terrace, pool, palapa and hammocks are a delight. The beds are very comfortable. Gerardo and Rossana gave us a quick and positive response at all times. Caregivers can be hired for an additional fee with excellent service and is highly recommended.

Excellent place to rest as a family, the house is beautiful with a unique ocean view and everything is very quiet. They were always attentive to us so it will be needed and we had the additional help from Andrés, super helpful! I highly recommend it

The house was so big, well located, comfortable, with so many places to rest and enjoy. Also the rooms were big and well distributed. We had a great time and the host Gerardo was always close to us for everything we needed.

This house is incredible, it is perfectly located right outside of town to give it a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. At the same time it’s close enough to run into town to buy groceries or get the essentials. We had the pleasure of working with Karen and Andrew and their cooking services which was a wonderful addition to our stay. The house Is plenty big for multiple families- and provides room for everyone to escape if needed. Each room also has an en-suite bathroom which makes for ease of shower time, etc... I HIGHLY recommend you check out this place!

Gerardo's beach house was a spectacular location for our family vacation. Coming from Vermont, Washington State, California, and Texas, we found it a perfect place to relax, enjoy the Yucatan sun, swim, read, play games, and have wonderful meals together. We were so glad we decided to hire Andres and Karen, the house's lovely caretakers, to prepare meals (including shopping), and clean up and do laundry. It gave us the convenience of an "inclusive" resort, with the privacy and quiet of a beach house. The house itself is beautifully designed with large rooms and common spaces, tasteful art on the walls, lots of light and fresh air, comfortable and inviting patio, pool and palapa. The beach is very walkable, the water warm and usually calm, and we found endless enjoyment in the large variety of sea birds, including black pelicans. We were unanimous: it was a perfect week in a perfect venue.

Nice house, everything is practically new, perfectly cared for and very clean. The sea is very nice and you don't have to walk because it's going out to the back of the house. The photos are just like what is offered in the house, even I thought it was more spacious when I arrived there than what the photos showed. There are always people who can help with cleaning, any questions or problems. 100% recommended

This house is amazing, even more delightful than it looked in the pictures. Our group (kids, parents, and grandparents) had a wonderful week, communication with the host was quick and easy, and the caretakers (who live on site) were friendly and responsive. Be sure to ask Angela to cook some Yucatan specialties - she and Reina made excellent panuchos, papazules, sopa de Limon, tacos, and more. Our kids loved the raccoon oreserve a few minutes west, and the ruins 15 minutes east were perfect for them to climb on and enjoy without the crowds of Chichen Itza or Uxmal. Progreso is 15 mins away and features supermarkets, a covered market (best visited in the morning), art deco beachfront architecture, and places to pick up freshly roasted chickens and elote without much impact from cruise ship crowds. The only caveat is that there's a bit of beach erosion in front of the house, but we did our lounging by the pool immediately overlooking the water, simply walked up the beach a bit to get more sand space (the kitesurfer in our group had plenty of space to launch), and waded out to the sandbar where the kids and grandparents could stand easily and play in tiny waves. Shell collecting was also amazing, likely a side result of the shifts. We would highly recommend this house for anyone looking for a modern and chill Beach vacation.

Very large modern home with plenty of space not to feel overcrowded. You are 35 min from Merida 230 from Campeche about 70 min from Uxmal and just 15 min to progreso. Grocery store 15 min Soriana , Costco 25-30 min. Very secluded and private area.

Amazing home

The house is beautiful! As described, very spacious, clean, and in perfect condition. Gerardo is very kind from the moment I contacted him, responding quickly to any questions. Gina welcomed us, a very friendly lady who lives near the house. We had an unforgettable family vacation! I recommend it 100%

Very beautiful and large house, tastefully decorated. Splendid views of the Mexico Golf Sea!

House was amazing. It is large, spacious and just as described in listing. The outdoor area was spacious as well. Outside palapa with hammocks, beautiful pool. Gerardo, the owner was great. Any questions we had were handled right away. We found him to be very friendly easy going guy. The kitchen had all essentials - we were a party of 4. The beds were comfortable and the linens, hotel quality. Washer and nice drying area. We had a car - though we often used UBER. Only 15 min to progresso. Gina, who lives a few homes down, is often available to cook and clean if wanted for a reasonable fee. She occasionally checked on us to make sure all was ok. She speaks NO English. we speak little Spanish, so we made sure to have a translator app on our phone to speak to her. She was a lovely person. This was an amazing family trip.

From the beginning Gerardo was very attentive and very kind, he arranged for us the easy arrival (he opened the door Gina, who lives nearby), and the house was in impeccable condition for our stay. The house itself is wonderful, by the sea, very spacious and spacious, with a kitchen that has everything and all the rooms with their own bathroom, that is - perfect!!! It is very quiet, surrounded only by other private houses, and only the sea in front. I recommend it 100% to anyone, an incredible place to spend a vacation or have a good time and rest :)

The best hosts! The house has a lot of details, practical and comfortable. Very spacious. We felt right at home, it was a delight.

This house was just like it was described, it was clean, modern and they even provided fresh fruit & fresh flowers. When all of us walked in we were in awe, everything was amazing. All the amenities listed were provided & made our stay easier; the owner provided each room with travel sized amenties such as shampoo, conitioner & soap just like a hotel. This place was very quiet & peaceful & the private access to the beach was a plus! The lady Gina who watches over the house, checked on us a few times which was very helpful because she answered any questions we had. The owner provided a binder full of information including home instructions, recommended restaurants & tourist information, which was very helpful seeing as we have never been here before. All of the rooms were big, clean, each of them had their own bathrooms & they were decorated beautifully. The owner even provided slippers & a ball for the 7 year old which he enjoyed very much. We definitely recommend stay here!!
