Bucket list stay! Casa Pantera was everything we hoped it would be. MORE magical in person than the incredible photos I’d seen over the years. Personal, layered, steeped in a deliberate intention you rarely see in guest spaces. This is so much more than an Airbnb stay. We used the guides they provided for an outstanding trip. An amazing resource we used daily. Owners helped problem solve throughout our stay and always looked out for us. I cannot recommend this home more. We are so grateful we got an opportunity to stay in such a beautiful home. One for the history books.

This spectacular home was one of the best parts of our trip to Merida and one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. It is so unbelievably beautiful, comfortable and luxurious-feeling, that when we were home between adventures, we still very much felt like we were on vacation. The kitchen is sweet and well-equipped. The bedrooms and bed linens and towels are comfortable. The living room is comfortable to relax in with drop dead gorgeous lighting. There’s AC to relieve hot days! The pool (and fountains!) were a never ending feast for the eyes and continually drew us outside for swimming, relaxing and reading. And you can’t underestimate the value of the hosts’ guide to Mérida with all their best tips on excursions, shopping, eating, etc. I hardly had to do any research at all thanks to all the information and resources they provided. TLDR: If this house is available, don’t hesitate to book it immediately, it will make your entire trip to Mérida! Lucky you.

Another gorgeous stay at Casa Pantera. We decided after our first visit that we had to come back with friends and family so that they could experience our Merida dream home. This time we stayed longer, explored the neighborhood more, and met some of the kindest people on earth. Our friends now understand why we tell them that we "live" here, and they want to live here too! I highly recommend booking a stay and savoring every moment, as the moments never seem long enough.

Truly one of the most magical spaces I have ever stayed! I found Stephanie’s social account years ago and had this property in particular on my bucket list. I work in interiors/furnishings but traveling gives me some anxiety. I need a home base that is curated and impressive but also familiar and cozy. We felt right at home but were constantly in awe of every light fixture, tile, material, shape, and object. Every detail was considered and intentional. Stephanie has incredible taste reflected in both the design of the home and in her style of hosting. Her welcome guide outlining things to know about the home was thorough and things to do during our visit was spot on. All of her recommendations were exceptional. Her communication was always prompt and gracious! My husband even had his chronic illness flare up while we were there and Stephanie had a house doctor and other emergency/medical assistance at the ready. 10/10 all round. Sueño de ensueño.

I spent a weekend on Casa Pantera and it exceeded my expectations, since we walked in the house, I was in awe at how charming it was, the whole house is decorated with intention. It is walkable to restaurants and also tucked in a quieter area. Stephanie communicated with us ahead of time so we could plan our stay, she was clear with instructions and was always a step ahead. I will definitely come back with my family, I definitely recommend it ❤️🇲🇽

Casa Pantera was gorgeous: meticulously and lovingly stylized with every creature comfort one could imagine. The house was both whimsical and dramatic. It is definitely the kind of place where a family or group of friends could enjoy an extended stay. Beyond that, Stephenie is one of the most conscientious and responsive hosts you will find on AirBnb. As the former owner of two short-term rental houses, I am very sensitive to places in fact being as advertised and accurate, helpful information proactively offered. Casa Pantera checked the boxes on both of these. I inquired about cooking classes, and Stephenie immediately put me in touch with a lovely local woman, Mallory, who organized a great private class with chefs and restaurant owners. Casa Pantera is, for most places of interest, just a short and inexpensive Uber ride or 10 to 15-minute, very safe walk.

Quite simply the most beautiful house I have ever stayed in. The design and attention to detail is breathtaking! If you appreciate good design then Casa Pantera is heaven on earth. I was lost for words in many of the rooms! Stephanie is a wonderful host and her passion for the property is undeniable. Everything about our stay was perfection and I hope I get the opportunity to stay at Casa Pantera again, I will be thinking and talking about it for a very long time to come. It’s hard to put the magic of Casa Pantera into words. What a stunning place in every way. From the moment you enter - you feel transported to another world. It’s as cozy and inviting as it is stunningly and intentionally designed. Everything you need is here. The kitchen is stocked with anything you would need to make meals and enjoy here. We also walked to many restaurants - and Stephanie was so helpful, communicative and responsive. Thank you for a stay we will remember and cherish forever. We can’t wait to return someday!

Outstanding property, great location, easy walk to the markets and restaurants

Stephanie and Chase are some of the most responsive and thoughtful hosts. They provide everything you need and more to ensure your trip is complete. We took advantage of their chef recommendation for breakfast and their driver recommendation and both were well worth it! The place is beautiful and walkable- most things are within a 20-30 minute walk away. Thank you again for everything!

The home is stunning but also super comfortable, and you can tell they've thought through everything. The layout was great for groups with thoughtful common spaces (a bar room, dining in the kitchen, lounging by the pool, you name it). Stephenie was an amazing host - super responsive and her local recommendations were spot on. We actually had to check out of another Airbnb last minute due to a power failure, and she was incredibly accommodating, letting us check in early and even checking in with us to make sure we were settling in okay. That kind of genuine care for guests really sets her apart. The location is perfect too - close to everything in Mérida's historic center but tucked away enough to feel peaceful and safe. We enjoyed exploring the city but Casa Pantera became our perfect retreat to recharge. This is honestly one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had and can't recommend it enough.

Words can barely describe how beautiful Casa Pantera truly is. While the photos are enough to catch your eye, existing in the actual space is an experience of its own. This was an absolute dream vacation for my wife, new son and I. Merida is an incredibly special city and the stay at Casa Pantera Made is that much more enjoyable. Hosts were incredibly responsive throughout the stay. They also provided top notch recommendations. Suggest any that stay also book the in-home breakfast chef and private chef for at least an evening at home. We would highly recommend staying here and doing as we did by extending your trip twice to continue enjoying this incredible home.

When I tell you I didn’t even want to leave to go eat at any of the amazing restaurants nearby I wouldn’t be exaggerating. UberEats became my new best friend! I'm grateful we booked most outings the week before so that I could absorb all the beautiful soul of Casa Pantera with zero FOMO. We’re already planning our next stay and can’t wait to bring all of our best foodie friends along as this house is meant to be shared with all the people you love. It’s ready for dinner parties, cocktail hour, and a date with a good book in the hammock. I’ve never felt so at home and so inspired by an Airbnb stay. Stephenie is so responsive with questions as if she’s there with you, helping guide you through your arrival at the airport and the check-in process. I could also swear that she was in my head with her restaurant recommendations that she sent in advance. Our experience at each restaurant was just as impeccable as Casa Pantera. Our teenager would say this place ate and left no crumbs!

This is such a special spot! I feel honored that I got to bring my family to experience this amazing home and to enjoy Mérida. We utilized the host’s recommendations for tours and transport as well as a local chef to cook in the home. All of the recommendations were amazing and we were so well taken care of. My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights in March of 2025. We had a wonderful stay. The home is beautiful with many interesting design details. The host, Stephanie, is very professional and friendly. She was kind enough to connect us with local friends who could teach us more about traditional ways of Mayan cooking, which was our focus of this trip. We also had relaxation massages in the home from her recommendation, and they were very good. This is a very tranquil place and I will return when I have the opportunity.

Casa Pantera was not just a stay, it was an entire experience. Nestled away among the bustling and vibrant historic city, Chase and Stephenie’s place welcomed us to retreat and explore Mérida. The house was truly incredible. Words cannot do it justice. Every detail was absolute perfection, exquisitely designed while maintaining a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. A stunning home with a designer feel. Chic and comfortable. Magical pool. The host was lovely, friendly, and responsive to every query almost instantaneously. We truly felt she wanted us to enjoy her home, which we did! Beds were comfortable, linens were silky soft, shower had excellent water pressure. Kitchen had great appliances, with a beautiful stove. Very walkable neighborhood a few minutes from the best authentic breakfast tacos in Merida!

Simply one of the most special places we’ve ever stayed. Exquisitely styled, everything thought of. The guide was very helpful, we took a lot of recommendations from there and were not disappointed - definitely hire Luis the driver, and shop at Casa T’ho!

Such a beautiful stay! Highly recommmed staying. It’s such an amazing place that has been designed so thoughtfully and it’s super special. This is not your typical place. Beautiful art throughout and amazing design. Very peaceful and quiet. The neighborhood is super cute and everything is between 10-30 min walk. You can certainly walk everywhere from here. Our favourite places close by was shopping at Coqui Coqui and dinner at Holoch. Highly recommend La Gua Gua city tour. 10/10 you won’t regret it! The house is accurately captured in all of their photographs and the way the space is designed is so thoughtful and unique. The neighborhood that the house is in is also safe, quiet yet walking distance to a lot of things. Stephanie was always available to answer any questions we had but she also had a clear set of instructions for check in and check out, that made the entire process effortless. This place is a real vacation home. It got everything, a bar, swimming pool, and speakers system that runs through the whole house, which makes our stay more enjoyable. The kitchen is fully equipped and cozy. Not only that, but the house is very stylish and tasteful. The host, Stephenie is very nice and easy to reach out to. Such a beautiful home! Our family of four (husband and two children) loved staying here during our summer vacation. Beautifully decorated and so many details at every turn. My kids loved the pool of course. The home is centrally located with a park, grocery store, restaurant and cafe nearby. Uber is very easy to use here, and a quick drive to the major areas of interest. There were so many recommendations from our hosts, which included our driver Luis .. He drove us to see the archeological sites; we did a city tour and drove us to Kokomo beach club. We highly recommend his services and enjoyed spending our time with him. Stephenie and Chase were quick to respond to any questions, as well as their house manager Ale. What a wonderful time spent here. We are now hoping to see how we can round up a few family members to share the their Cape home. Azalia’s B.

Casa Pantera did not disappoint! Stephanie was on top of every message I sent her and fast to respond, and the house manager is on site just a block away and equally responsive/friendly. I celebrated my 40th at Casa Pantera and it was the perfect spot for 6 people to enjoy each others company but not feel on top of each other. We even hired the recommended private chef for breakfast, as well as a chef AND DJ for a house party and there was ample space! If you are a design aficionado like myself, Casa Pantera will have you awe struck. No detail is left unattended! Perfectly appointed furniture, mood lighting for days, and just the right balance of old world meets creature comforts! I cannot wait to return!!

We had the best time for a bachelorette trip. We were so impressed by the interior design and vibe they created. We walked to breakfast several times and it was close to a local squat with nightlife.

Incredible! We loved the place so much we are already trying to find a date to return. Every detail has been considered by the host to make a comfortable home-away-from-home. Location was walkable to food, groceries, shopping, touring, yet in an area that allowed for a quiet sleep (some road traffic but no loud crowds or music). Kitchen and bar are well equipped, air conditioning worked well, quality linens and comfortable beds, pool was refreshing-all together it was an oasis! They provide great suggestions for eating, shopping, and excursions. Stephanie was proactive with communication and very responsive when I had a question.

Simply put, Casa Pantera exceeded our expectations in every way imaginable. We were blown away by the attention to detail through the house but also how comfortable it was. Chase and Stephenie were incredibly attentive hosts, even arranging for the talented chef Armando to cook for us. His meals were the highlight of our trip. I'm tempted to keep this gem to myself, but we'll definitely be returning to Casa Pantera whenever we're in Merida.

Chase and Stephenie’s house is beautiful, well furnished, with large rooms to accomodate easily a big family or a group of friends of 6 people. The swimming pool in the courtyard is perfect for relaxing and cooling off after a day of sun and excursions. The house is also well located, pretty close to the historic center of the city. We loved our stay at Casa Pantera!

What a stunning property! As a group of three we were able to enjoy our own private bedrooms, and each of us were so impressed. The courtyard gets enough sunlight midday for a perfect pool day, and the kitchen and bar area are so well appointed. Every corner of the home is decorated beautifully, and suits the setting perfectly. It was evident that our hosts have impeccable taste! Booking with Stephanie and Chase exceeded our expectations at every step of the process. We are so appreciative 🤍

We had an excellent vacation to Merida staying at Casa Pantera for 7 nights. Awesome house and town. Everything was very easy. Went on great day trips to Uxmal, Cenote Mycuchye, and Sisal beach with Luis. Also In house breakfast with Rich and Massages with Fatima were great as well. Hosts are the best.

Casa Pantera exceeded our expectations! We were two families traveling with 4 girls ages 12-17. Everyone loved the house and exploring Merida. Stephanie and Chase's recommendations for chef, masseuse, and restaurants were excellent as well. Highly recommend! Magical!

Stayed here for 5 days - the house and everything was exactly as it was described. The photos were 100% accurate, which was a delight! The hosts were super prepared, communicated quickly and completely - there was almost nothing left unaddressed. These hosts are probably the most ideal AirBnb hosts; they should do a commercial about them. The location is fantastic, the design and scale of the place is spot on. We were two families - the kids loved the pool in the courtyard, the bedrooms were perfect, the AC worked well for the days/times we needed it, and the kitchen was well appointed for cooking or anything we needed. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the place and we would 100% recommend this place, and stay there again if we find ourselves back in Merida. The city location is great as well - easy access to cultural sites, beach communities, or anything else you may need.

I first learned about the city of Mérida on a CNN food show - the food, the culture, the sights were captivating. I found a luxury hotel on the edge of town which was very nice but was far from the city center and lacked some charm and character. So, naturally, upon finding this Airbnb listing I jumped at the opportunity to book and I’m so glad we did. First, there are Airbnb hosts, superhosts and then there are Stephanie and Chase. Seriously the most accommodating and lux experience of all of our vacation rentals - quick to respond before and during the trip, everything is stocked in the house, fabulous local transportation (Luis is GREAT), incredible breakfast chef (Ricardo also SUPERB), and the house - WOW. Any lover of design needs to visit this house - every room, from the grand entry and foyer to the bedrooms, kitchen, and our kids’ favorite the pool and terrace, felt like it told a story - designed with intention and narrative. Simply wonderful.

Stephenie and Chase’s Merida home is AMAZING! The pictures don’t do it justice. The pool and patio furniture were amazing for daytime cool-downs and long evenings, the kitchen is adorable and well stocked, and the beds were comfortable. Highly recommend staying here!

Can’t say enough wonderful things about staying in such a majestic home! We visited for a friend’s wedding and got to spend all the in between times lounging in the pool which made for such a relaxing and slow paced vacation despite the quick turnaround! Homes like these are hard to come by and the thoughtfulness in the design is unmatched. Thank you Chase and Stephenie for everything!

Chase and Stephenie’s home is magical. Seriously, we hardly left to tour around Merida because none of us wanted to leave the house. There are so many paintings, trinkets, and unique and interesting pieces throughout the house that you’ll never lack for something new to discover. The courtyard and heated pool were great to relax in, and the adjacent living room was perfect for watching sports and movies. The furniture was extremely comfortable, and the fabrics are high quality. The kitchen is very well stocked, and had all the conveniences of home. Nothing was spared at Casa Pantera. You’ll feel you’ve been transported into a storybook setting of elegance, romance and relaxation.

If you’re looking for a luxury and authentic stay in Merida or the Yucatán in general, Casa Pantera is a must! My husband and I booked for our honeymoon and had the best time. We were looking for a more unique place to stay Vs. the standard all inclusive resort for our honeymoon, but didn’t want to compromise privacy or luxury. After finding this gorgeous home and researching Merida, we went for it!When we stepped through the doors every day, we felt like we were entering our own oasis. It was PERFECT! The amenities and romantic feel will make you want to spend all day in the casa (and we would have been happy as clams to do so). However, there is much to do and explore in the surrounding city and towns. The week we planned with the help of Chase and Stephanie’s recommendations was a great mix of rest and adventure with lovely Yucatán culture and cuisine sprinkled in. We enjoyed their recommended in home chef services and in home masseuse which were AMAZING. We hope to be back!

Casa Pantera is one of a kind. It is exquisitely beautiful yet warm and approachable. The location is perfect, just outside the hustle and bustle of the historic downtown area, making it a nice respite, while easy to walk to shops and restaurants. We fell in love with Mercado Santiago just steps away from the house, where we bought incredible fruits and ate the most delicious tacos ever. Chase and Stephanie responded incredibly fast to our questions and were always helpful. Their house manager and driver were kind and friendly. Would highly recommend Casa Pantera and Chase and Stephanie as wonderful hosts.

It’s hard to describe how magical Casa Pantera was! It was divine - one of my all time favorite airbnbs ever! If you’re looking to experience a luxury stay in Merida, this is your place! Also, shoutout to Chef Rich who came every day to make us the most delicious breakfast…one of our favorite daily meals!

If you like the online pictures of Casa Pantera you will more then LOVE it in person. Pictures never ever do justice. You need to experience this fixed up 19th century mexican frenchie home for yourself! This home is truly a gem and the restoration work that Stephanie and Chase have done to this historical home is a piece of art. At one point my husband and I felt like we were in a Riad in Morocco while outside by the pool. We will be back!

Chase and Stephenie were extremely responsive and proactive in their communication. And their colonial house is absolutely stunning. We did have an issue checking in with the code, but that was quickly addressed. The only other issue was the water flow in the bathrooms- it was painfully slow at times. Despite that, an excellent experience and value for our money.

Chase and Stephanie's place was one of the most gorgeous places I've stayed throughout all of my Mexico travels :) Thoughtfully designed and beautifully curated, each details is breathtaking. We ended up making drinks at home at the bar there most nights because we had so much fun lounging there. The beds were comfortable, their communication was wonderful and they even had a bowl of fruits to greet us when we arrived. They were accommodating and kind and cannot say enough good things about this place! Definitely add it to your list in Merida!

We absolutely loved our time at Casa Pantera. The house is stunning, luxurious and welcoming with impeccable design. The bar and pool offered amazing siesta opportunities. The rooms and amenities made the stay very comfortable and everyone slept well. The location is also perfect as you're a quick walk to the city center and an amazing taco spot. Chase & Stephanie were incredibly responsive and helpful and we utilized the driver they recommended in their house notes. Luis, the driver, was so lovely, easy to talk to and most importantly punctual. If you're planning a holiday in Merida, I would highly recommend Casa Pantera!

This House is absolutely stunning and the hosts are amazing - always helpful and very responsive. The house is really a special gem and we can’t recommend it enough when visiting Merida.

Casa Pantera is an interior designers dream. The house is beautifully furnished with some truly exceptional spaces. Chase and Stephenie have clearly put heart and soul into making this house the focal point of any stay in Merida. Communications were very comprehensive from booking to our day of departure, with plenty of info and tips on how to make the most of our vacation. If you’re planning a trip to Merida, this is THE place to stay!

I have rented a fair number of air b&b’a. Many internationally and the best I can say about most of them is they provided Adequate necessities. Very few were what I would call great. Your place, on the other hand, is spectacular!! Your attention to detail and your style, creativity and amazing taste did not go unnoticed. We look forward to staying with you again. We had a fantastic family vacation at Stehapnie and Chas's home. I've never stayed at an airbnb that was better equipped. Everything was so beautifully decorated but also so functional. Every question we had was promptly answered. We even used their masseuse recommendation to have massages in the home. Everything exceeded or expectations.

Steph was available for what was needed at all times, they are super hosts, the divine house is super located. We had an amazing week!

Casa Pantera is like a livable work of art. They have sourced the most beautiful pieces, fixtures, finishes and textiles to create a magical space that manages to both perfectly fit in and beautifully stand out in a city with so many treasures. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL home! The furnishings are amazing. There is a vibe in the home that is indescribable. You can feel the love and intentionality that they have poured into the home. They have figured out the perfect balance of modern amenities while at the same time keeping the old world feel of the space. Our luggage was delayed by the airline and Stephenie was so quick in helping us figure out where to go to replace items we needed for the night. The lists Stephenie made for places to go, things to see and restaurants was beyond helpful. She has thought of everything you would need and has your answers ready beforehand. We hope to go back one day!

Casa Pantera was an amazing place to stay, the design was immaculate, I can notice Chase and Stephanie took care of every detail, the pool was completely perfect. Definitely I will recommend this house to everyone and hopefully come back again soon.

Beautiful home in beautiful Santiago neighborhood…. One block away from the market and surrounded by all sorts of great little places…. Super convenient. Quiet neighborhood yet all close by.
