Write up is very accurate. Beautiful home and the location is tranquil. We felt safe. The area was well cared for and patrolled by security. Beach was great and not busy. We boogie boarded - there were boards with the rental along with beach chairs and umbrellas. We watched the turtles released from the sanctuary several times. The kids loved the plunge pool on the patio and the community pool was large, warm and clean as well. We swam across the sanctuary and into Plantanitos for an adventure. The location is very remote and the dirt road to the villa is VERY rough, taking at least 30 minutes to travel that portion alone. This limited the number of excursions we did; but if you are happy staying at the villa primarily, this Villa Tortuga is incredible.

The place is a paradise, Adriana's service is incredible and the assistants are excellent, getting there is difficult if you don't go in a 4x4 but it's worth it once you get there

The stay at Adriana's villa was a unique experience; practically enjoying the beautiful beach to ourselves was the best part of the vacation. They were always attentive to us. Although the access road to the villa was somewhat complicated, once there was nothing that wasn't worth it. It would definitely be a place we'd go back to.

We have stayed in a lot of houses in Mexico, but this is our favorite. The house is located directly at a beautiful, very private beach, great to surf and to see turtles. The house has beautiful details, is well equipped and very comfortable. The only disadvantage is the road to the house. You definitely should rent a SUV to get there. Everything else was just perfect and we will definitely come back.

Great place for a super relaxing vacation. I went with the family during Holy Week and unlike most beaches in the Riviera Nayarit, it was super quiet here. We practically enjoyed miles of beach to ourselves. The place is spectacular, and has all the necessary amenities to have an amazing time. The grill area was my favorite, I loved the waterfront barbecue afternoon. The sunsets on the beach are fantastic! It is highly recommended to arrive with everything you need in terms of groceries, since a trip for groceries is a minimum of 40 minutes because the journey from the road to the subdivision is 30 minutes, it is approximately 9-10 km of dirt road and you have to travel it slowly. Overall it is a beautiful place and highly recommended. I will definitely be back.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. To have such a secluded, pristine beach right at your doorstep is incredible. The estuary is beautiful and renting the kayaks for a day activity is definitely worth it. The location cannot be beat (assuming you are looking for a remote paradise). We swam across the estuary one afternoon and walked to Playa Platanitos for a great lunch on the beach. But other than that, hanging on the beach, at the pool, and playing games on the lawn filled our days. Adriana is incredibly responsive to all questions and was a wonderful and helpful host.

Beautiful home in a gorgeous, secluded place. The beach is clean and sandy with clear water. The people that took care of us are so accommodating and kind. You will want for nothing! We will be back again!

We had an amazing stay. The home was beautiful and clean and the location was so peaceful. It felt like we had the entire beach to ourselves. Mayo made sure we found our way to the house for an easy check in and Kathy prepared a couple delicious meals for us to enjoy. I wish we had stayed longer!

Amazing experience in a magic place! Our stay in Platanitos was simply wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The space is even more cozy and beautiful than the pictures show, and is spotlessly clean. The hosts were extremely attentive and friendly, always willing to help with any questions or recommendations. They gave us great suggestions for exploring the area, which made our experience even more special. The location is perfect, we managed to appreciate some whales🐳, there is also a turtle camp next door where you can live a beautiful experience helping to release the turtles with your contributions and the beach very private, quiet enough to enjoy a relaxing rest. The house is well equipped and our stay was even more comfortable. We would definitely stay here again again for future visits. Thank you for making us feel so welcome!

Great place with few people on the beach. As others have recommended, you'll definitely need an SUV to get out there on the dirt road. Mayo and Kathy were great on site hosts. At low tide, walk across the river and take the stairs furthest from the ocean to check out Platanitos. Had a great meal there at King Kong. Even though the trail is somewhat overgrown, El Cora waterfall is definitely worth the drive. We were the only ones there mid week. We'll be back!

This is the second time I have visited this wonder of paradise, security, the house, area, privacy, up to the welcoming bed, and I will obviously return. I feel so comfortable, quiet and at home that I never want to go. Thanks to Mayo (butler) and Kathy (cleaning) who are always on the slope.

Adriana's place is a hidden gem. The beach is indescribably beautiful, and the house location truly could not be better. Directly oceanfront, yet with also with a great deal of privacy. The house was very well kept up, the service from the cook and gardener were A+. We had the perfect vacation here. I mean, it was perfect!

Everything was excellent. The only thing was that the road to get there was in terrible condition, and with rain it was not pleasant at all.

We really enjoyed staying at casa Tortugas, it is a wonderful place. The house is very comfortable and Adriana is a great host. The only observation that I would like to make is the risk of power outages during rainy season. This is the hottest season of the year and sleeping without AC or fan is quite difficult. We did not see this information in the description of the house and they took us by surprise. Despite this inconvenience I would really recommend the place.

Great property right in front of the beach, just as in the photos. The kitchen is super well equipped, and communication with Adriana is very fast. I highly recommend it. An incredible place to disconnect.

Villa Tortugas was an amazing experience. Kathy took amazing care of us with her food and housekeeping. Adriana was very responsive. It was paradise and we enjoyed the serenity and remoteness. A wonderful vacation overall.

You do need to understand how remote this place is before you book. We arranged shuttle transportation from PVR(Mario), he was great. Stopped for ice and fresh fruits on the way up. We took advantage of the meal plan the whole week(Kathy), her meals were excellent. She was gracious enough to share a couple recipes that were AMAZING... Zucchini Soup, Spaghetti Verde and Shrimp Broth with Vegetables. Both Mayo and Kathy took great care of us the whole time, the house is spotless and well cared for. The house is well appointed in like new condition. The surrounding grounds are beautiful. The beach was endless and water warm. Sunsets were spectacular every night. Villa Tortuga is the best house @ Playa Las Tortugas. We'll be back soon.

Watched whales breech from shore, had beautiful sunsets and great weather. Boogie boards and lots of barefooted walks. This is the best place to soak up your vitamin SEA! The house was exactly as described. The long bumpy driveway stinks but when you finally arrive, it will all be well worth it!

This lovely home is located about 3 hrs away from the Puerto Vallarta international Airport. The beach is isolated and on rare occasions others will be walking on it. It is a beautiful location to watch sea life, relax and enjoy nature. I would recommend hiring the airport transfer and pre paying the meals to avoid leaving the property once getting there. We did stop on our way to the home at a local supermarket to buy drinks & snacks.

Beautiful villa in an amazing secluded location! The house is comfortable and the location is picture perfect. The staff were helpful and courteous. We really enjoyed our stay. The drive was slightly difficult to get there but definitely worth it once you are there.

Amazing place, if you wish, disconnect from the world and immerse yourself in a calm waters. Ideal and careful attention from the people in charge of food and cleaning. Tip: Bring insect repellent as the mosquitoes are rampant. The entrance is by dirt road so a van is recommended to enter, but nothing complex. Once there, enjoy nature and the services! Definitely a place to come back and stay longer.

Everything it should be. The host and staff have anticipated all that you would want to make your stay fantastic. My only regret is publishing this review which just makes it harder for me to continue to secure my slice of paradise each year.

A beautiful place, with few people, the beach with calm waves suitable for small children. The house is just as you see it in the photos, beautiful, clean, with staff who support you all the time and are attentive to your needs. It has three bedrooms with a kingsize bed,two inside and one in front of the pool, you have to leave the house to enter that room. Each room has its full bathroom, has amenities (toothbrush, toothpaste, toothpaste, sandals, blocker, after tanning lotion, mosquito repellent and lotion for after you get wet, as well as a lip for hydrating the lips) It also has towels for each guest, both body, hands and face. Each room has air conditioning, the rest of the house doesn't, but if you open the multiple windows it has and turn on the fans it's enough. The house has Internet, but the signal is not very good, as on all beaches, there is no cell phone network, only on the beach, if not cloudy. The beach is a few meters from the house, it has a hammock. The pool is small and heart-shaped, more than 1.20 deep so children can enjoy it but under supervision. It also has pool and beach towels for each guest, as well as umbrellas, chairs and boards for swimming at the beach. The kitchen is very well equipped, it has various types of glasses, glasses, plates, flat, large, small, etc. of all size. It also has pots of all kinds and sizes of the Tremotina brand, quite good. It has knives for cutting, a blender, microwave oven, refrigerator, toaster, a 6-grill stove, for those who love to cook, nothing will be missing. There is also a wine list in case you want to consume some for a fee. And if there are mosquitoes or gnats, so it's important to bring anti-gnat patches or repellent. It's worth spending a few days in this beautiful place, you could relax and forget about the worries.

Perfect place to enjoy a stay full of tranquility, but also fun. My kids were happy and I was relaxed. Everything you could need is in the house.

Very good location; the house has everything you need to have a great stay. It includes additional amenities such as a gas grill, beach umbrellas and chairs, as well as some pre-installed beach loungers and others in the pool area. The house's private pool is a bit small, although you have the option to use the complex's pools, which are larger. Very good cleanliness and maintenance of the facilities. Very good location, just a few steps from the beach. The mosquito problem is fairly well controlled with daily spraying in the morning and afternoon; however, you should still carry repellent. Very good stay.

The house is located right in front of a quiet beach away from the hustle and bustle, excellent for spending a few quiet days. It is excellent for children as it has a gentle slope, is wide, and is very long, used almost exclusively by the neighborhood and occasionally by some local residents. There is a turtle camp next door, and it's a nice experience for the kids.

We spent six days at Adriana’s property in Platanitos Beach. After enjoying our stay, we can say that we will definitely be back. The photographs are surpassed by the wonderful location of the house on the palmar of the beautiful dark sand beach and the conditions of the house are very good. We were warmly welcomed and looked after by Chela and Mayo (they really make a difference). I second previous suggestions to bring good sunscreen to avoid—wherever possible—mosquitoes, and it’s very important that if you don’t opt for a full-board meal plan, you plan and do a very good grocery run, considering that there’s nothing nearby, at least within an hour’s drive. An excellent opportunity to unwind and enjoy El Nayarita Beach with all the amenities.

Fantastic location, accommodations, and onsite staff. Hiring the driver service was well worth it as it allowed us to see the countryside without any navigation anxiety. The meal plan provide us with more than enough food that easily served as the following days lunch. We will be back!

Excellent stay, to be the first time we rented a house on the beach, we could not have had it in a better way, the whole house is super clean and they take very seriously the measures to sanitize all the spaces and the rooms. Chela and Mayo, who are the people who attend in the house are super attentive and helpful. Adriana was always attentive to answering all the questions we had. The only detail, which of course, is out of the host's hands, were the mosquitoes, which even with the use of repellent and despite the fact that they fumigate twice a day, we could not get rid of the bites. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay and offered us exactly what we were looking for.

The accommodation is incredible, everything is very clean, the attention of both Adriana and Chela and Mayo unbeatable, the place is very nice super comfortable location a few steps from the beach, my family and I have a fantastic vacation, we hope to return soon.

Villa tortuga is an amazing place. You pretty much have the beach to yourself. I spent my days alternating between the pool and the beach. The lounging areas are prefect. The sunsets and the night sky were stunning. Definitely recommend the meal service as this is a remote location. Not only was the food tasty but the portions sizes were large. If traveling during the rainy season I recommend a high clearance vehicle due to the last 10 or so miles being on a dirt road with potholes and water crossings. This is the place for you if relaxation and serenity is what you’re looking for. I look forward to going back to Villa Tortuga in the near future.

Excellent holidays that we had as a family, the house was very clean, very comfortable rooms, the outdoor areas such as the palapa and the pool were great, excellent treatment and service of Chela and Mayo, very attentive. The sea is best without a doubt, the house is literally steps from the beach, the sea is quiet and safe for swimming. Practically every day we were lucky enough to see turtles spawning and it was an unforgettable experience for my children. The complex has two large community pools but they are practically alone, the beach is also for you alone. The house has air conditioning in its 3 bedrooms, has wifi, and there is cell signal only on the beach (15 mts from the house). Adriana, our host, is super nice, helpful, very attentive and responds very quickly to messages. We will definitely spend a few days in Villa Tortuga again

Beautiful place to isolate yourself and rest. The house is very comfortable and Chela and Ismael's support to keep it clean is excellent. Every day in the morning and at night they smoke between the houses and what there are many Jejenes (mosquitos) which can be annoying at sunrise and sunset, so carrying repellent is an important part of your luggage. The beach is a paradise and next to the villas there is a turtle sanctuary which allowed us to participate in the release of some turtles, very good experience! Prior to our trip, Adriana very kindly supported us by quickly answering all our questions. It's definitely a place we'd love to go back to very soon. 🐢

When we first stumbled upon this villa on Airbnb, it seemed almost too good to be true. There must be a catch! But everything was as perfect as it seemed online. Adriana is the most thoughtful, gracious host. She was very accommodating and very quick to respond to any questions. Ismael (caretaker) provided us with all the information we needed and showed us around. He was even there to help us with a little hiccup on his day off! Amazing service. Chela was INCREDIBLE and her food was beyond delicious. Overall, my family truly enjoyed our little trip and we had a great experience.

This house has an incredible oceanfront view. Chela and Ismael were great hosts and always attentive to every detail. A 100% private place with all the amenities you need. I hope to return to Playa Tortugas as soon as possible.

Villa tortuga is a very relaxing place to stay. The secluded location means that you completely unwind in a very beautiful location. The beach was often empty and is gorgeous. Adriana was a pleasure to communicate with and answered all my questions very quickly. Overall a great experience!

Magestic place for families with small children! Get in touch with a 5 mile sand beach only 4 u (sounds like a commercial but it's true!). Try to do everything you can. Turtles, kayaking, surfing, etc...

Playa las turugas is a wonderful place to rest and enjoy the beauty of the beach and the beautiful sunsets that the Mexican sea offers. Adriana, answered all our doubts and made us feel safe traveling to that beautiful place. Communication with Adriana and all her staff was excellent. Nothing was missing during our stay. The attention in the house is very thoughtful. Everything very clean and the service from the staff who work there is very efficient. They respond to any questions and are available at any time. Cook Chela, a very nice kitchen. All the dishes he offered us were cooked daily and with very fresh ingredients. We highly recommend this house and the place. Our stayed was wonderful. Adriana, made sure to answer all our questions. Chela, the cook, made fresh delicious food everyday for us. It was great! The sunsets were beautiful and the beach is very peaceful. We also went kayaking at the Estero. You can enjoy seeing many different types of birds there. We definitely recommend this place. We can't wait to be back!
