Great place!

Great spot with multiple spaces for a group to spread throughout and housekeeping available. The hill is very steep to the point where if your uber doesn’t have a high clearance vehicle they may not want to drive up it.

Wow what a beautiful location and home to spend time in! This house and views are stunning, the pool is a wonderful addition, and Priscilla’s recommendations were a must do. We could’ve spent ages just staring at the scenery. One note: this is on a very steep hill. That is noted in the description, but golf carts struggle to get up and down this hill in rain or sun. 4 wheel drive or rangers are a must have instead.

Loved our stay. Had 10 ppl here for my husband's bday and it couldn't have been more perfect for the 5 couples. Each room had it's own private bathroom, A/C and spacious closets. To Note: -It is imperative you rent a strong golf cart. That rocky hill is a nightmare to walk up otherwise. -There's a great breakfast spot just past the bottom of the hill, CHAMAN. Loved their smoothies and dishes. Some pros: The stunning view from the house (the top floor villa had shower views during sunset that brought me to a state of euphoria haha). Pool area and landscaping were gorgeous. Priscilla, the host, was highly communicative and helpful. Drinking water is provided, and ample at the house-- you will not run out. Some cons: NO TOILETRIES were provided. Not a single travel size shampoo, conditioner or even bar of soap. I think basic necessities like these should be provided for every airbnb/hotel. The chef's food was very basic and bland/ no seasoning. Convenient though.

The Airbnb was a 10/10! Super wonderful view of sayulita! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay at sayulita!

The space is very large and the pool and view are amazing. Well worth the money. The hill is no joke though our FWD SUV wouldn’t make it up you need the golf cart lol

Had a great stay at Villa del Sol with our family of 10. Gorgeous house with a wonderful view. Loved watching the sunrise and sunset from the third floor patio. Easy to get to town but quiet and private. Definitely recommend getting golf carts as the cobblestone hill is steep as advertised.

This home was wonderful! There were 5 couples celebrating a 40th birthday and it was perfect for us. Beautiful views of the ocean and the jungle from so many spots in the house. It was clean and had what we needed. The pool was a great size and a perfect temperature! It cooled us off in the hot summer heat. There is AC in the bedrooms but not in the rest of the house, which was okay for us even in the summer because of the pool. Priscilla was a great host- transparent and responded quickly, and had lots of local suggestions/guidance. We had the chefs the house recommends cook a few meals for us. The food was okay (breakfast was the group favorite), but it was so nice to have them cook and clean up, and we thought it was a good value. The hill up to the house is very steep, golf carts are a must. All in all we recommend and would return!

Went for my bachelorette party and had the best time. The villa was perfect for our group! Close enough to town and the beach! Would 10/10 stay again!

Casa Villa del Sol is a beautiful house with a fabulous pool and gorgeous views! We spent so much time swimming, hanging at the pool, reading and playing games as family! The pool temperature was perfect and the pool was nice and clean. It was a great benefit to have a restroom right on the pool level and the outdoor shower to wash off with before we jumped in the pool. The bedrooms are spacious and there is plenty of closet space for your clothes. Each bedroom has an ensuite bath as well and there is even a powder room on the two upper levels. We would certainly stay at this house again! The hill to the house is no joke, so make sure you get your golf carts from the company that Priscilla recommends.

This villa is very beautiful and spacious! We really enjoyed our time at the villa and Priscilla was an excellent host and communicator. One thing to prepare for is this villa is on a STEEP hill. So steep that one of our Ubers from the airport refused to drive up it as the car couldn't make the trip. We were advised to rent golf carts in advance, but I wasn't aware that you need special golf carts with lithium batteries to make it up the hill. The regular ones will not make it up the hill. It ended up being a big issue for me to get reimbursed from the company I booked from. If you do book this villa and want golf carts, I would use the company Priscilla recommends - as they are familiar with this hill. You do get incredible views from the villa and that comes with the nature of the hill that you're on. Overall we really enjoyed our trip and would recommend this villa!

Our group had a great stay! The home was just like the photos - clean and comfortable. Priscilla was easy to communicate with and made our stay highly enjoyable. The daily cleanings were a great touch. I highly recommend golf carts!

We had a lovely stay at Casa Villa Del Sol. It fit 9 of us comfortably and we had even more space than we anticipated. The views were amazing and the pool space was relaxing and beautiful. It was private and we felt extremely safe. Priscilla was responsive and helpful from when we first booked through our entire stay. She arranged a private chef for one night which I would highly recommend and the house was cleaned daily. The wifi wasn’t that strong, but it felt good to unplug. The hill where the house was is much steeper than anticipated, but all worked out with golf carts. Just worth noting that those are definitely necessary to easily get around. We hope to be back soon!

The property was gorgeous! A perfect place for a group of 9. The view from the all the decks are spectacular, which made it hard to leave the villa! There were many great details in the design of the house and landscape. We did rent one golf cart which was necessary for some of my family members. Although the hill is very steep it is walkable for ppl who can handle a nice increase to their heart rate. From the start, Priscilla was very responsive to all our needs. The villa supplied a beautiful space for my family and I to create great memories during our time in Sayulita.

We had an incredible time. The bill truly is no joke. Get golf carts delivered upon your arrival. We used Gaby’s golf cart and Jose Ramos shuttle from the airport. Each of those were wonderful. We loved the chefs. We loved the home. AC worked great and we remained comfortable. Beautiful home, wonderful staff, felt very safe.

Casa Villa del Sol was fantastic. It was perfect for our group of 9 to lounge and enjoy the view, cook for ourselves, take golf carts into town, and sleep well with the AC in the bedrooms during the warm season. Priscilla was super attentive and responsive. The staff kept the house and grounds in beautiful condition. We had two meals cooked for us during our stay and they were fantastic. Would definitely come back again!

Wonderful time at the Casa del Sol Villa! We were celebrating 3 birthdays and Priscilla went above and beyond to accommodate all of my bday requests. The staff was amazing and the private dinner and brunch was excellent, made the whole experience so special! There was 9 of us and we were so comfortable, plenty of space and the views were spectacular!

Priscilla was a great host - very responsive and our group of 9 took all of her recommendations from Jose Ramos transportation service to get from the airport to Sayulita, to booking golf carts and the chef service; and all of the recommendations worked out so well. Our group was so happy with the chef service, they took care of cooking and cleaning, which made vacation so relaxing (the huevos rancheros was our favorite!). We had read a lot of the previous reviews about the hill, and it really is no joke, renting the golf carts is essential for getting to and from the place. The place is up the hill so it feels peaceful and private when you are there, yet easy to get to town or the beach. We loved our stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone else!

This spot was great! Was perfect for a big group (especially the pool!). Highly recommend getting golf carts since the hill is very steep. Everything was communicated perfectly (suggestions on transportation, arrival/checkout, etc). The house is great and fits a comfortable size.

We had abundant space for all seven guests. There were areas to commune, as well as for privacy. The home was immaculate and accessible to great restaurants, yoga, the artisan market, hair/nail salons and the central square of Sayulita. We booked mobile spray tans one evening. It was a wonderful stay! The hill to the villa is STEEP. Plan to have a cart(s) dropped off after you check in. Priscilla can assist with arrangements, including cart drop off and a van for transport to the Puerto Vallarta airport at the conclusion your stay. The steep hill does enhance the seclusion of the property, which we appreciated.

We had a great time at Villa del Sol. 4 couples with 2 young kids for a week. Definitely worth the price of admission. Amazing view. Close to the beach and some great restaurants, coffee shops, yoga studios etc.. Just outside of the busy part of town. Priscilla was super responsive and the staff at the house were great. A few things : (1) The hill is no joke so definitely rent golf carts and not all carts are created equal so be clear you need carts with some juice to get up the hill. (2) We got the chef service for 3 nights. Its great to have dinner made while you watch the sunset but the food was just okay. Think decent home cook level. Given the quality of the restaurants in town, we probably should have only done the chef service once or twice. (3) Its not the most kid-friendly place. Hard floors/corners, no high chair, slippery surface by pool, a couple of spots without proper railings... we managed fine with a 1 and 4 yr old but just something to keep in mind.

The views from the house are just incredible and the layout allows for a lot of room to spread out. The chef experience is highly recommended. Pricilla was so helpful and highly responsive. Other reviews are accurate the hill leading up to the house is serious. You really need a golf cart to safely navigate it. The overall walk to town is not long and it was nice to have a little space from it at the end of a day/night.

The house was just as the pictures show and great for a group to have their own space and areas to hang out together. The views are amazing and would stay there again. The house was always clean and made the trip very enjoyable. Great location.

This place was incredible. First of all, the properly manager Priscilla was amazing. Her communication, tips, suggestions, and overall attitude was wonderful. The housekeepers and staff were so nice and helpful. The meal they cooked for us was top notch and they even packed us leftover and cleaned the kitchen. The house is much more spacious than the photos. The pool is incredible and the lights in it are super fun at night. The view from each level is breathtaking. Golf carts are an absolute must- trying to walk up that hill especially in the rain is super difficult. We felt really safe in the quiet community. We already have plans on renting this house again!

We loved our time at Casa Villa Del Sol, it was the perfect way to celebrate my close friend's engagement. Close to the action in Sayulita and Priscilla has all the recommended vendors you can work with for airport rides, chef service & golf carts.

Casa Villa del Sol - Sayulita We’ve been to Sayulita multiple times but this was our first stay at Casa Villa del Sol. While the pictures online look pretty good, you really can’t comprehend the beauty & serenity of the property until you step foot on the burnt orange tile. Once you cross through the main, ornate, wrought iron arched doorway, your soul will absolutely glow knowing you made the right decision for your friends, family, or group you’re adventuring along side! Whether you chose to slumber in the solo poolside casita, with its fully equipped kitchen, closet with dresser & safe, lovely bathroom, queen bed, super cold AC, plus windows & bug proof screened doors (if you like the open air feel), or you picked Villa II on the middle floor, or Villa I on the top floor, with their (identical) massive open floor plans including grande plush couched living rooms, spacious bedrooms featuring king & queen beds, super cold AC, bug proof sliding doors with screens, ceiling fans, ample closet space, dressers, a safe for personals, sprawling patios with lounging furniture & dining tables with chairs enough for everyone, you’re guaranteed to have an epic time! The ocean, jungle, & city scape are stellar sights from every floor during the day, with dramatic, crystal clear views of the Sayulita Sunsets every night, (from any level), & exceptionally dynamic views once the elegant inky cloak of darkness blankets your perfect little slice of the world. A golf cart or two is absolutely a must when staying at Casa Villa del Sol, as the property is at the top of one of the steepest hills in town! The streets, made of deteriorating cobble stone & concrete, can be navigated by foot, but only if you’re truly up for a workout! (I’ve done it multiple times, barefoot every time in fact, but I consider myself “experienced” in Sayulita & don’t recommend it to the faint of heart) The Town Center is only a two minute (or less) golf cart ride, 10-12 minutes walking, with endless restaurants, bars, shopping, pharmacies, butcher shops, fresh fruit stands, street vendors, ice cream, live music, beach access, tattoo shops, etc. You’ll find everything you need in Sayulita & If you’ve got an empty seat on your golf cart, consider picking up a local you see walking to and from town! They’ll be happy for the lift & in exchange will divulge useful information & little secrets about the town to your group, that 99 percent of tourists aren’t privy to! (I don’t recommend picking up random people if you are alone. Be smart. But if you see me walking, ask me if I’d like a ride! When I get on your cart I’m happy to be your tour guide & give a few local tips!) If you’re looking for a sanctuary where you’re entire group can stay under one amazingly comfortable, beautiful, safe, calm, relaxing, unique, welcoming roof, then you should book Casa Villa del Sol. From the attentive, prompt to respond home owners, to the incredibly amazing, friendly, warm Villa staff (we love to have coffee with in the morning), it’s beyond top notch & worth every penny! (Or peso!) This was our first booking with Casa Villa del Sol & it will not be our last! Our group (of 7) has compiled a pros & cons list from our observings during our incredible 6 day stay. (Please understand our Pros are BIG, our cons are MINOR) PROS Epic view Multiple spacious levels Fully equipped kitchens on every floor Full size refrigerators with ice cold freezers! Full size coffee pots on each floor with filters! Spacious bedrooms Beautiful bathrooms Excellent water pressure Excellent hot & cold water without waiting Comfortable beds & pillows Excellent Housekeeping/Cleaning Service Brand new gas grill poolside (we loved using) Endless 5 Gallon purified water jugs on each floor! Very close to beach Very close to town Fantastic restaurants/dining/bars on the corner & just around it Markets for essentials around the corner Golf cart rental discount available when staying here (A MUST for this location) CONS The Hill. Gardener is great but should take the day off if guests are enjoying the pool. Construction starts every day at 7am sharp, ending at 7pm. Lots of homes being built next door, everywhere really. You can’t escape the construction, & how our quiet hidden little gem is being discovered.

I celebrated my 40th here and my friends & I were enamored with the house! It was so well decorated, gorgeous views and we really enjoyed the house staff. The grounds were so pretty and everything was very well kept. The meals Maru and Veronica made were by far the best meals of our trip! Maybe this is weird to say but most mattresses in MX are sooo stiff, but the bedding + linens here were top notch. Things to keep in mind--definitely don't skip the golf carts--it's tough to get 4 total up that crazy hill! There was a lot of noise with construction during the day/neighbors partying at night which didn't bother us at all but bring your sound machine for the nighttime and and eye mask for when the sun rises bright in the am! I took many more referrals from Priscilla and they were awesome--great drivers, lovely massage therapists at the house. The whole trip was divine thanks to the hospitality she, Maru and Veronica showed us! Thanks ladies!

Excellent house with breathtaking views! The staff was amazing and coordination with golf carts and check-in was seamless. We had nine girls stay and would certainly stay here again. It was not too far from town or the beach, and had everything we needed. Such a memorable trip!

Priscilla was the most clear, supportive and helpful Airbnb host I’ve had the pleasure of coordinating with. She supported me with safety information, coordinated a professional chef for a dinner at home, as well as recommended other things to do in the area. The house is AMAZING. The view is spectacular. The pool is perfect. The only thing that I wish I had been more aware of is the hill the house is on. It is very steep, with little walking path, so if you stay here be sure to pack comfortable shoes. Golf carts are also not the perfect solution given the steepness of the hill. Highly recommend renting a car if you stay here and want to get into town frequently. Other than that, it was the perfect trip and a very safe, beautiful place to stay. ❤️

Beautiful home with stunning views. The lovely pool was great to have as an alternative to the beach. The top and middle levels of the home are basically copies of each other with a kitchen, living room, and 2 bedrooms in each. There’s another studio style room on the same level as the pool with its own kitchenette. We didn’t have a need for the extra kitchens but could be handy if you’re traveling with multiple couples. The views really are as good as the pictures! The AC worked great and kept us perfectly comfortable at night. We rented a 4 person golf cart, which made the extremely steep hill manageable, but a note of caution: do NOT go up or down the hill in a vehicle or golf cart if it is wet!! Very slippery. Would definitely stay here again! Loved our time at Villa del Sol!

I would recommend renting this location if you are in Sayulita. It is on top of a hill with beautiful views of the town and ocean. It is perfect for 2 families. There was a ton of space for our group of 10. 2 families of 5. Each of the main levels had 2 bedrooms each with their own bathrooms! The staff were incredible! I would also recommend hiring them to cook your evening meals. It was a great way to get authentic food in a relaxed environment. The cooking team were awesome and even cooked some surprises for the little ones in our group (mac and cheese, spaghetti and a special cinnamon sugar milk drink). The 4 person golf carts worked great up the hill and all over the town. 3 great beaches with one perfect for families with great food and drink service. You won't go wrong staying here.

Villa Del Sol made for an absolutely amazing stay in Sayulita. It was clean, comfortable, and super spacious with incredible views. Highlights include ample pool deck space and a beautiful pool, huge balconies for lounging and meals, and the most delicious food made by the in-house private chef. We struggled to get up the hill with the golf carts and probably should have pushed for gas-powered instead of electric given the size of some of our group members. Fortunately, some of our group members didn’t mind getting in the extra steps. Overall, I highly recommend Villa Del Sol as a beautiful abode for vacationing in fun Sayulita!

This is house is perfect for large groups and families. I really loved the layout and the privacy that each level had. The location is great. We had no problems with the hill the golf cart went up and down easily. The house staff is so sweet and accommodating. The only complaint I would have is the pool is freezing. Would be so nice if the pool was heated but I know that’s not something you can fix easily. Highly recommend this house :)

What a wonderful property! We had a group of 8 girls and had a wonderful time! We felt very taken care of and everything ran so smooth! Wonderful views, great location, excellent communication. Would highly recommend a golf cart - house is up a steep hill, and the chef option was incredible. We simply did not have to think about anything except enjoying our vacation. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend staying at Villa del Sol! This is a large Villa that can easily accommodate a group. There are two main floors that are the exact same layout - two bedrooms, three bathrooms, living and dining rooms, large patios. There is also a bottom level with a small casita (think like a studio apartment with a bedroom, kitchenette and bathroom), as well as an additional bathroom by the pool, and the amazing pool itself! The management/housekeeping team was very professional and on top of it. We used the chef and the transportation that was recommended by the house and had great experiences with both. The only things to note with this Airbnb are 1. As many others noted, it’s atop a very steep hill - a six person golf cart won’t reach the top according to the golf cart company, but two 4-seaters or 2-seaters easily can, as well as normal cars. You can walk up the hill it’s just a trek with all the cobblestone and a golf cart is a must have in Sayulita anyway! Maybe something to think about if you’re traveling with frail people. And 2. - there is some construction happening right in front of the house (immediately within, but not taking away from, the beautiful view). This is nothing that can be prevented by the owners but I wanted to mention it because there was some hammering and other construction noises that awoke us early some mornings. I wouldn’t say it would be enough to personally stop me from booking again though, construction and all, because we spent a lot of time away from the house and were excited to wake up and explore anyway. This was my second stay to Sayulita and all in all, I would highly recommend this Villa!

The house is beautiful and the views are even better! Maruca and her team at the house are wonderful and are always there to help. The hill that this house is on is no joke so be prepared for that definitely rent golf carts! Keep in mind construction is happening right next door so be prepared for lots of noises. Other than that our group had a wonderful stay!

Casa Villa del Sol was the perfect house for our group of 9 girls! The pool and patio areas are lovely and perfect for relaxing day and night. Spacious and clean bedrooms and kitchen areas. The hill up to the house is definitely rough (van cabs were not able to make it up the hill, and even our golf carts stalled going up the hill when more than 2 girls were in the cart), but at least we got our steps in! The walk from the house to town was a little longer than expected, but fairly quick with golf carts. Thanks Priscilla for a great weekend!

We absolutely loved Casa Villa Del Sol 💖 Great accommodations, wifi was solid, pool and views were amazing. Our group enjoyed the privacy and highly recommend doing the private chef services. The best food we had in Sayulita was from the two nights we stayed at the villa. Any issues were met quickly by Priscilla. We will come back to stay here. Do not skip the golf carts!!

Wow! I can't say enough good things about Casa Villa del Sol! The house is amazing, the pool was a dream, and everything is as described. It was perfect for our group of 8. Priscilla made planning our trip super easy and once we were there, the staff at the house were so friendly and helpful. We had a few meals prepared by the private chef, Maggie and they were incredible! Highly recommend. Overall, an amazing place and location, we hope to go back again!

We booked this location for my 40th birthday. Everything looks just like the photos. The view of the water was spectacular. Check-in went smoothly and Priscilla was attentive and responsive the entire time. Staff/housekeeping was extremely helpful and friendly. I would recommend booking the private chef. It was very convenient and cost-effective not to mention being able to enjoy a delicious meal with a view. I would definitely return in the future! Thanks, Priscilla!

This place was awesome. The view is stunning! It’s the perfect place for a fun getaway with a group. The hill is pretty gnarly so 100% rent a golf cart. Our whole group is young and in good shape but it’s steep and rocky. The golf carts did fine going up and down even during the rainy season, highly recommend! It’s a 5-10 minute ride into town.

This is an amazing house!!!! We had the absolute best time. It was super clean, the a/c worked very well, and the pool was amazing. A few things for future guests - You 100% have to have a golf cart with this house. The hill is way too steep to be getting up and down multiple times a day and when it rains it gets very slippery. Use Priscilla’s list of suggested things to do! We used the golf cart place she suggested and the airport shuttle she suggested. Both worked out super well. This house is huge and is one of the pricier houses I looked at in Sayulita (but totally worth it!!). Absolutely perfect for 2/3 families with small kids or for 4/5 couples as all the beds are kings/queens. There’s no “bunk room” to sleep a large number of single people. We absolutely loved it and would love to go back again!

We were here with a couple friends as part of our honeymoon, and Villa Del Sol was spectacular! We can’t wait to return. The host was super responsive and very attentive. Don’t discount the pool! It was perfect. I imagined we’d spend 10% of our time in the pool, but we ended up spending close to 50% of the time in it. We even had a couple completely free days where we used it the whole day. Thanks again for making this such a spectacular trip without a single hiccup, it made for a stress free, relaxing trip. Exactly what you hope for on your honeymoon We can’t wait to return ( :

This place is an absolute dream. It's up a beautiful hill and just far enough from town where you feel like you're in your own paradise. Then you hop in a golf cart, cruise down the road, and you're in Sayulita... one of the most epic places to visit. Additionally, Priscilla is responsive, kind, and cares thoroughly for her guests experience. If you're considering staying here, just lock it in. You won't regret it.

I would recommend getting a high powered golf cart, we couldn’t make it up the hill with 3 people. All in all Sayulita is still a great place.. The house staff is there A LOT. So be prepared for that, but they are SUPER sweet people, just a around little too much for my liking. Also, there’s no towel service so use sparingly. It would be nice is they offered soap and shampoo — just my opinion would’ve been a nice touch.. most houses I’ve stayed at in Sayulita over the past 12 years do that. Priscilla is always available for any questions - very on top of it !!! 5 stars. All in all good — excellent house !

Great house with beautiful garden and amazing view on a steap hill

Great pool with a cool breeze and afternoon sun. Feels private and comfortable for even a larger group. Plenty of space on the middle level with a beautiful patio for dining. On the lower level, the casita is cute and private and right next to the pool, making a quick dip easy and tempting anytime of day. We had a blast at this beautiful house.

Fabulous clean house with amazing views. Close to center of town. Recommend renting golf carts if you don’t have a vehicle. Will definitely stay here again!

Priscilla’s home is gorgeous, situated at the top of a hill. Our group enjoyed the breathtaking view and spent lots of time bird watching from our vantage point over the canopy below. The housekeeping staff keeps the property beautifully maintained and were very friendly and helpful. When planning your trip, we highly recommend booking this property and a golf cart to help you navigate the steep and slippery hill (make sure you give the rental agency the house name, as they are all familiar with the homes on the hill). It’s well worth it! Priscilla is an excellent and responsive host and made our Sayulita experience great.

What a spectacular Villa - perfect for our extended family vacation. Can't recommend highly enough!

Priscilla and her team were great. The place was worth every penny, amazing views and privacy lead to an amazing stay at Villa del Sol! Our group had some last minute emergencies and Priscilla handled all of them in a timely manner.

Priscilla’s house was perfect for our trip. The location is great. It’s only a few minutes walk from the beach, stores, restaurants, etc. but secluded enough that you can relax by the pool without hearing the noise from town. The view is unbelievable. Her place had everything we’d needed and more. Priscilla’s welcome guide was very helpful in providing us all the info we needed for transportation, etc. I couldn't recommend her place more. We hope to stay there again on our next trip to Sayulita.

The view from the 3 floors is absolutely amazing. Maruca was super friendly and helpful. They left us some complimentary beers. The pool temperature is normal, but with the heat, it's fantastic. Very spacious rooms and a great number of bathrooms. Recommended for families.

Myself and 8 girlfriends rented the entire villa for my 30th birthday celebration in Sayulita! It was very spacious and a great place for our large group to enjoy each other’s company but have individual areas to return to. There were lots of bathrooms! The views were breathtaking, and we had everything we needed. Priscilla was very responsive and helpful both before and during our stay, even accommodating a last minute request to lock our bags in the house on our last day so that we could explore the town before our driver picked us up at 2pm. The only thing to note and that others have mentioned, is that the house is at the top of a steep hill. Renting golf carts is an option but most places told us we would need a gas run cart to get up the hill. I would definitely stay at this villa again but plan ahead for the hill!
