Very nice place.

Maluku has a beautiful home which fit our families perfectly. The house manager Veronica is close by and incredibly responsive. They provided recommendations for food and activities, even assisting with booking a private chef for a night. I would highly recommend this home!!

Don’t think twice about booking! The location is perfect, right on a quiet beach with a private pool. Plenty of shady spots in the yard. We traveled with our four kids here and they could be on the beach/in the ocean or in the pool and we could see them from the backyard. The beach is very quiet and walkable to a couple of restaurants. The kids loved the boogie boards. Inside, there was plenty of space for our family. The beds were very comfortable. Some of the furnishings could use a bit of updating, but honestly, everything was so clean and comfortable. The property manager made sure we were checked in and stopped by to provide instructions on the house, so helpful to have someone nearby. Both the owner and manager were very responsive to questions and provided suggestions on restaurants and other amenities. We did not check out much of the local area as our family was very satisfied, enjoying the pool and the beach!

House is right on the beach and has outside shower for sand. Location is a few min drive to the marina which was great when we went fishing. The Beach House restaurant down the beach is very close but wouldn’t recommend as it had no local/traditional Costa Rican dishes on the menu. House is clean and had laundry and dish soap. Great communication.

This place was fabulous for my family. It was peaceful, serene and a beautiful bay. Would recommend this home.

Unique location! With direct access to a beautiful beach, we had a great time!

How could you not fall in love with a beautiful house with a pool out the back doors and the beach just past the pool. The kitchen was well equipped with all the necessary appliances and plenty of dishes, glasses and silverware. Overall, the interior of the house had a cheery elegance that fit with the house and the location. Given that we had come to the beach to relax and not engage in many activities, it was the perfect setting. There were numerous restaurants within an easy drive and a market close by so that We walked down the beach the first night to the Beach House restaurant and had some exceptional fresh fish for dinner. Actually, the best meal that I had the entire week in Costa Rica. The four bedrooms worked quite well for our family of two grandparents, a family of four with two small children and a second adult sun. I would definitely stay there again if I were coming to the Costa Rican beaches.

Impeccable communication and a beautiful place!

House and pool are beautiful, private and walkable to some restaurants. We walked along the beach then walked out to the street to get to the restaurants. People walk on the street so drive carefully. Black sand beach was awesome with wonderful sunsets. About 5-10min drive over to playa flamingo is white sand beach if you want to see the constrast. Great critters on the beach kept my kids busy for hours with calm beach waters as we relaxed on the covered palapas. We did a catamaran excursion with a waterslide and we went to Tamarindo beach for some surfing. This house is very secure and locked so you will feel very safe.

Our stay in Costa Rica was amazing because of this place! The house is easy to get to, right off the main road, but felt very secure and private. The lush backyard and pool gave it a resort feel without any crowds. The beach was just steps away and a great place for morning walks and watching the sunset. We were thankful for the AC because it was quite warm during our stay. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking necessities and we cooked all of our breakfasts there and a few dinners. The beds were comfortable, which is very important on vacation! We loved our stay at this house and would book it again if we return to Guanacaste!

We had a wonderful stay. It was relaxing listening to the waves on the shore, lounging in the pool and walking to nearby restaurants.

We had a great time. You just can’t beat that view and it’s amazing to step outside and swim in the ocean whenever you please. The beach is very peaceful with almost no people. We loved the privacy and tranquil location. The only issue to note is that the upstairs bathroom is only accessed through the suite. So, whoever is sleeping in that second room will have to enter the suite or go downstairs to use the bathroom. It was fine for us, but could be hard depending on your room arrangements. The location is also fantastic to explore the surrounding beaches. Dee, the property manager, also scheduled a catamaran trip for us that was fabulous. She was extremely responsive to our communications and also gave us a lovely gift basket when we arrived. It was a 10/10 experience for our family.

This place is all about location. RIGHT on the beach and a quiet beach. CLOSE to nice beach bars. Very comfortable, excellent aircon; super equipped kitchen. Highly responsive new manager. Lovely garden with resident iguana. Pool to cool off in. Modern bathrooms. Plenty of space. Off street parking.
