El peor servicio, nos ofrecieron dos habitaciones para 6 personas, para luego decir que solo una habitación y dos personas se quedaron sin lugar donde dormir porque nos ofrecieron colchón inflable. Nosotros pagamos CAMAS como aparece en el anuncio. Cambiaron toda la reservación un día antes de llegar a monteverde en plena semana santa donde ya todo está alquilado además se negaron a hacer el reembolso de las dos personas que dejaron sin lugar. La refrigeradora no enfriaba correctamente. NO vale la pena. La anfitriona NO conoce lo que es SERVICIO AL CLIENTE. Cuando le mencionamos reembolso porque nos estaba ofreciendo un colchón inflable se puso muy a la defensiva y seguía diciendo “no es mi culpa”. En vez de buscar un punto medio. NO VALE LA PENA. NOT WORTH THE PRICE!! She texted us offering two rooms for 6 people. One day BEFORE the arrival date she texted saying “another platform booked the room” so we had 1 small room for 6 people and missing 2 beds. She offered air mattresses which is completely unacceptable. We paid for beds. She did not even agree to refund two people since they did not sleep there due to the inconvenience. SHE HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. She kept saying “it’s not my fault” did not try to get to a mid point with us. Got very defensive when we asked for refund. Fridge did not work. Horrible experience do not recommend

I read the review that said this pension was a great value and we decided to give it a try. We agree 100%! It was perfectly clean and exactly as represented in the listing. The breakfast was delicious, homemade by the family, and we loved getting to chat with them a little bit while we ate. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to the main area in Santa Elena, so keep that in mind if you don't have a car. (We had no trouble walking or taking a cab, which they will arrange for you.) The best part is the very kind service - Francisco arranged tours for us and made sure we were in the right place on time. When our shuttle fell through (which I had arranged separately) he made some calls and fixed the whole problem for us - it was quite a hassle and he was super nice about it. We really appreciated all of the family's kindness and attention and would choose Pension Colibri again!
