Wow does not describe our experience. From the incredible location and on site staff, chef making breakfast, the property including your own bullfighting stadium, epic views, walkable town, luxurious amenities. This was not just a place to stay. The entire place is an experience. We even decided to cancel our birthday night out and just stay home and barbecue and enjoy the place. If I could give 10 stars I would!!

A true gem....just book it.

We had an amazing time. The house had everything. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and the pool. The terrace has a fire pit to enjoy at night. We saw fireflies in the garden. The house was very comfortable for the whole family

From the moment you arrive, you can feel the love, care, and attention that have gone into this property over many years. Every detail is thoughtfully curated, everything is high quality, impeccably clean, and beautifully maintained. The staff is exceptionally kind, attentive, and helpful. Joselo is an incredible host, always responsive and proactive in making sure you have everything you need. The garden feels more like a private park than a backyard. It is peaceful, breathtaking, and full of magic. The property is also wonderfully pet friendly, and our dogs loved every minute here. I honestly cannot think of a single thing that could have been better. This is one of the best Airbnbs I have ever stayed in, and I have stayed in many. Truly a gem of a place to stay and so close to the Parroquia. We loved the privacy of the house and the view/proximity to the bull ring. It was very open, inviting and comfortable downstairs with great views from the 2nd level . Miriam and Alex cooked us world class breakfast every day of our stay and attended to our every need/want. I don’t know where to begin. I have stayed in Airbnbs all over the world and Joselo’s property is hands down the the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. It is even better than the pictures. You have to see it to believe it. From the first moment you will be speechless. Fantastic location. Walkable to everything in San Miguel. Everything you need is included in the house. No need to go to a rooftop for dinner or a drink as this house’s rooftop is literally the best in all of San Miguel. The home is beautifully decorated and the beds are divine. Quiet and private. Miriam and Alejandro were amazing cooks and housekeepers. They spoiled us everyday. The daily breakfasts were better than any restaurant. And having the private bullring in your backyard is awesome. We had fun just exploring the bullring and taking so many pictures. We are so spoiled after staying at this property that I’m not sure anywhere else will ever meet this high bar Joselo has set! Can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely beautiful place right adjacent to the bull ring stadium. Very private and phenomenal location just a few minutes walk to downtown. Joselo is a great host. He was following up on our stay at all times and ensuring our comfort and experience. The house is very nice with everything you need to have a very pleasant stay with your family. The river that surrounds the property gives a special touch to the house and together with the gardens, the pool and jacuzzi area, the terrace with barbecues and easy-to-connect ambient sound, make an ideal atmosphere to relax and enjoy. The staff is very attentive to everything you need and always attentive to us. If you're looking for a house in Avandaro, this is the ideal house.

Our experience in this house was simply unforgettable. The setting is magical: a stream runs through the property and provides a unique peace. Hearing the sound of the water while enjoying the place is something spectacular. The house has a jacuzzi and a heated pool that, especially when it cools down in Valle de Bravo, are enjoyed to the fullest. What really makes the stay special is the hospitality of Mrs. Delia and Leopoldo. They welcome you and take care of you as if they were your own grandparents, always attentive and aware of every detail so that nothing is missing. Even if you require it, they prepare delicious breakfasts and meals with a homemade touch that elevates the whole experience. The house combines comfort, warmth and nature in a perfect way. It is the ideal place to relax and enjoy as a family or as a couple. It is undoubtedly one of those places that remain in the memory and to which one always wants to return.

I typically look for AirBnB's that are unique with great views and easy access to the liveliest areas of town (when staying in a city). Great thing about San Miguel is you're not far from the main areas of town (the main plaza) wherever you stay. But, this place ... wow ... it's the only residence within the grounds of the bull fighting ring (plaza de toros). I mean you have access to the bullfighting ring (it's typically empty). It just feels like you have exclusive access to a very important historic social hub of the city (because you do). And, 15 minute or less walk to the best restaurants and main plaza. The views from the upstairs balcony area are just unbelievable ... the church steeples, the mountains in the distance, the sunsets ... I could have spent the whole trip just sitting there taking in the sights and sounds. The house is modern, has solid Internet access and TV service. Joselo was great to work with. And, Miriam cooked the best breakfast meals each morning. A++

This is our 6th stay at this location either through friends reserving or us personally, and it is where we recommend our friends to stay and they have also. I regret saying this, because I want it to always be available for us and for the same price, but they deserve the credit - it’s perfect.

An excellent experience from the end. From the first moment, Joselo and Omar were very attentive and communicative, making sure everything was ready for our arrival. The accommodation exceeded our expectations: it was impeccably clean, well-equipped and very tastefully decorated. The location was also perfect, with easy access to relevant places, such as restaurants, transportation, etc. I especially highlight Joselo's warmth and willingness to help us with any detail during our stay. The house is fantastic, even better than the pictures. It has a stream that borders the property and so there are no fences, which gives a greater sense of depth. The pool and jacuzzi can be heated (you have to pay for the gas at the end) but warm water is important for children. The terrace area is very well equipped for barbecues, briquettes... it has music and all the necessary utensils. There are many activities that can be done (golf and tennis at the club, massage and yoga at the house). It's close to the village. The staff is very friendly and prepares very tasty breakfasts and meals. Some rooms need remodeling, but others are new. The bathrooms are usually very good and all the beds are comfortable. We will definitely repeat.

This place is so beautiful it's hard to leave. So we started bringing food in just so we could sit on the incredible rooftop and watch the sun set and the lights of the gorgeous city twinkle on. Then we'd stay up late -- with the gas flame burners warming us -- and watch the moon set. Then we'd wake to the same great view and one of Miriam's delicious home-cooked breakfasts. Fabulous spot and worth every peso.

Book it now, you won’t regret it. The property is incredible, the staff is fantastic, the attention to detail is outstanding (softest bed and towels!), and the host, Joselo, is so helpful and attentive. My only regret is we didn’t book it for a longer stay. We were a family of 3 adults and 2 young children and it was perfect for us. This location is so perfect for anywhere you need to go. OVERALL AMAZING!

Beautiful house, above all the terrace area; very rich food; and very quiet area with creek that borders the house. Delia, Polo and Erika attended us very well. We just missed the jacuzzi bubbles working. We had a very nice stay and our visitors were delighted.

This unique and magical home made our trip with friends one of the best we have ever had! Joselo was an amazing host, accommodating, generous, and very communicative. Miriam and Alejandro were simply amazing! Spoiling us with delicious and authentic homemade Mexican breakfasts was our favorite part of the day. The views were phenomenal, beds were ridiculously comfy, and we felt right at home. Add all of this to the perfect location and you have a true gem.

This is a gorgeous three bedroom…ideal for couples. Deck gives you the absolute money shot of the parroquia…fantastic location…we got fantastic sunrise and sunsets everyday. Terrific food and great responsive service from Miriam and Ale. They even hosted us with a rooftop cookout one night…would gladly repeat.

We loved this property and the hosts did a great job catering to us while there. Breakfast was delicious, and they treated us to margs and guac one evening at sunset. The view from the balcony is really top notch and much better than the pics show. They do need to replace and repair many parts of the deck upstairs as it is a little sketchy in some areas. (It was manageable for us in our 30s/40s but may be less ideal for older people or kids.) The hot tob was a plus! The upstairs bedroom is completely separate (only connected by stairs outside), which worked for us but I didnt realize until we got there .. and it may not work for people with kids. The location at the bull fighting arena was unique. Overall, I’d give it 4.5 stars - it was on the pricier side so do think some minor upkeep is needed/warranted, but would def stay here again. Great spot in SMA with lots to offer - including great hosts and amenities.

What a treat to stay at Joselo’s place which was literally RIGHT next to and on the grounds of the bull-fighting arena in San Miguel! There is an upstairs bedroom with an enormous deck overlooking the whole city and the Parroquia, as well as a jacuzzi. We didn’t realize that breakfast was included in our nightly stay, so we were pleasantly surprised when the housekeeper Miriam came in the morning with a gentleman and they made an enormous breakfast with fruit, yogurt, granola, quesadillas, beans, eggs, coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice. The location is on one of the most beautiful streets, walkable to the main square, park, shops and restaurants. Joselo was easy to chat with by text, and very responsive in perfect English. Thank you Joselo, we loved our stay!

Joselo’s place was fantastic. Our group had plenty of space and the views are amazing. The rooftop is an excellent area and the views cannot be beat. Mariam and her team were fantastic. The daily breakfast was excellent and they work around the timing of when you’d like to eat. Joselo had great recommendations for areas in town from dinning to activities. He even helped us obtain round trip transit from the airport. The home is very private and safe, within the grounds of the old bull fighting ring which is neat to see. It’s walkable to all locations in centro. I’d highly recommend staying here on your visit to San Miguel. It exceeded our expectations.

We went to a house for New Year's. The house was beautiful, spacious, with excellent amenities—an incredibly lovely and cozy place. Downsides: It was noisy due to lawnmowers every morning; someone was always mowing. Also, the air conditioner in a separate cabin needs cleaning; it had an unpleasant smell. However, we had a great time with a large group and are planning to return. Fuimos a una casa para Año Nuevo. La casa era hermosa, espaciosa, con excelentes comodidades: un lugar increíblemente encantador y acogedor. Lo negativo: Era ruidoso por las cortadoras de césped cada mañana; siempre había alguien cortando. Además, el aire acondicionado en una cabaña separada necesita limpieza; tenía un olor desagradable. Sin embargo, pasamos un buen momento con un gran grupo y planeamos regresar.

We stayed at Joselo’s place with my wife and some friends and had the best experience imaginable. The house is located within the golf course forest. The WiFi is strong, so I could work without any issues. I’d highly recommend staying with such a friendly and thoughtful host!
