Lia was an amazing property manager who we had the pleasure of meeting, and was so responsive and kind with any and all questions!! The place was wildly memberable and felt like we were truly experiencing a luxury vacation. We traveled with our three kids under 10, and they loved the rocky beach, especially at high tide when the waves would crash against the driftwood. I still can hear the great kiskadee in the ears that would wake us up. What a paradise!! 10/10

We had a wonderful vacation. The house at Playa Langosta was beautiful with great views and sunsets. Lia did a great job suggesting excursions and coordinating them. She also suggested the Chef services with Jasmine and Andres that they were excellent.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa el Mirlo! My wife and I stayed for the week with our 3 kids (7, 11 & 16) and we were really able to unwind. The house is beautiful with a very convenient layout and fitted with all the necessities. The bedrooms are spacious and beds quite comfortable. We definitely appreciated the blackout shades in every room! We spent many hours in the pool and lounging on the comfortable deck. Lia was very responsive, she graciously answered all our questions and even helped us with transportation arrangements. Playa Grande is a great destination to unplug and reset. This area is not at all mainstream, no tourist traps or crowds. It's the perfect town to get away from the busyness of life. The beach here is so peaceful and only a short walk from the property. We'll likely rent a golf cart or car for convenience next time, but we were easily able to get around town by foot or Uber, and securing rides to and from activities out of town was simple. Amazing place!

This house was absolutely beautiful with outdoor showers and lots of privacy. The neighborhood felt very safe and was in a great part of town. Having a beach behind the house was so fun for the kids and was an amazing backdrop when relaxing in the pool. This house would be best for multiple couples or people with older kids. Ours are younger and we didn’t love the separate locking rooms. We ended up with one adult sleeping with each kid. But otherwise, a great home base for your stay in Tamarindo!

Wow! The house and location were more beautiful than expected! The safe location made us feel comfortable and at ease. It was amazing to be able to relax in the pool while listening to and watching the ocean waves. While the town was in walking distance (it was a bit of a walk in the heat), we did rent a golf cart, which made it easier to get to town for dinners and shopping. Lia was very helpful prior to our stay by providing us a reliable transportation company and recommendations for a chef service to come cook us a delicious dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and LOVED the house!

Casa Tranquila was everything we expected and wished for. Very clean, great beds, well stocked with essentials and close to Tamarindo for all our wishes. The pool and beach were fabulous. Lia was very responsive for all our questions and needs. Hope to go again and definitely will book this Airbnb!

This place is stunning! Even better than the photos. Excellent location near plenty of restaurants and adventures. My family had the best time with lasting memories!

We had an unforgettable trip to Tamarindo. The house is gorgeous!! The views are breathtaking!! Our host, Lia, was kind and helpful in so many ways!! I hope to bring my family back to stay next year. Overall, it is a beautiful home in a fantastic location!! You will not be disappointed!!

The place is one thing, absolutely beautiful and a relaxing retreat. And then Lia was an incredible host, so helpful and kind. She made our stay that much better. Highly recommend. 5 stars!

We (a family of 5) stayed at Casa Mirlo for 5 nights, from April 21st – April 26th, 2026. Our family ranged in age from 30 to 68. The house was magnificent and the layout which included 4 bedrooms was perfect for our family. There was plenty of space for all of us and we had everything we needed to make our 5 night stay great. The living room/kitchen was very conducive to preparing and enjoying family meals and for playing card games and watching movies. We spent a lot of time sitting by the pool, just outside the living room/kitchen. Our host Lia addressed a very minor issue within 15 minutes of us messaging her through Air BNB. This is excellent customer service!! Additional highlights include: 1. The proximity to the beach for swimming or surfing was incredible. Only a 5 minute walk. 2. The house had a washer/dryer, which we could use when we needed. 3. There were multiple restaurants and snack bars within a 5-10 minute walk. 4. The garage area was huge and definitely sufficient

We stayed with a multigenerational group. The place was perfect for us to be together but also have our own space. The house was in a perfect location. Everyone loved the pool! Lia couldn't have been more helpful.

The private location with it's infinity pool overlooking the ocean and nightly sunsets couldn't be beat!

Lia’s home is an exceptionally beautiful place to stay in Tamarindo as a group/family. The highlights were easy access to the beach, a spotless pool and a spectacular view of the sunsets. The outdoor showers also gave the rooms a luxe-tropical feel. We travelled as a family of 1 senior, 2 adult couples, and 2 kids. The home was located in a gated community about a 2-3 mins drive from the main shopping area, so it felt safe and was quiet and convenient. The home felt new and spotless, was very well equipped and everything worked as it should, including the AC units in every bedroom and the washer/dryer. The shared space was large and comfortable, and the pool and BBQ were well maintained. All of the doors were unlocked using keypads, which was convenient for our group. Lastly, Lia was very helpful and super responsive. We had a wonderful time. We would highly recommend this home and definitely return.

We recently spent five nights at Casa el Mirlo, hosted by Lia. This house is beautiful. We drove over in the dark after landing in Liberia - super instructions for finding the house in the dark. The house looks easily as nice, if not nicer, than the pictures. Top quality on everything. Really good water pressure and the beds are very comfortable. Everything was in order. Easy to get in to the gate and plenty of parking. The ACs keep the bedrooms and living room super cold. The views to the ocean are beautiful. Just up the hill from the beach, which is about a 6 minute walk. Also walking distance to several really good restaurants - we tried both RipJack Inn and Pots & Bowls, and both are fantastic. Lia was super responsive (even late at night) and very accommodating. We had no issues at all.

We had a great stay, particularly enjoying the well stocked kitchen and pool areas. We had a bit of a hiccup with the water service upon arrival, and Lia had it fixed ASAP.
