This place was beutiful. From the stairs getting in to the property to the pool and the house itself. We were 5 people and I'm pretty sure there was room for like 3 o4 more. The papala in the roof is a nice place to chill and they even have a fridge there, super good idea. One super plus was that I found a couple of cold beers in the fridge and the had some bottles there that you can drink if you want. I had some mezcal and I left them half bottle of whiskey too. I totally recommend this place and I definitely will go back . Thank you!!! Javier (the property manager) even help us take some clothes to the laundry and bring it back. Excellent attitude and attention.

We absolutely loved our stay! The home is in a great location, a short walk to both the beach and the plaza, and was very clean and well-decorated. The pool was a great bonus to easily cool off in and the view from the palapa was lovely!

This place is prime location. So nice to have own parking spot too. The layout of the house is so wonderful for 3 private bedrooms and bathrooms. Can walk anywhere, having a golf cart was fun. Would love to come back again.

We had a wonderful time staying here! We loved that all of the bedrooms had en suite bathrooms and enjoyed spending time in the pool and on the rooftop. It was also in a great location!

This place is awesome! Perfect location as it is super close to the town center and beaches but off the street enough to give a secluded feeling while relaxing at the pool. Javier, the truly outstanding house manager, was able to accommodate an early check in for us and met us upon our arrival to show us around (he even carried luggage up those stairs!). He also went above and beyond on the little and big asks when we reached out during our stay — dropping off an outdoor table when we had a chef come one night and getting a golf cart delivered right to our door. 10/10 trip and stay, we love Sayulita!

The location can't be beat! Close to beaches just up the hill, close to restaurants up the hill, and all of Sayulita right down the hill. Just far enough from the core of downtown to be quiet and peaceful. Coming home each afternoon after a long day of out and about and stepping into the outdoor shower and then into the pool was such a pleasure. The pool was pristine. The beds were very, very comfortable. The A/C cooled the rooms down within minutes each afternoon. Javier was very helpful and responsive. We would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at Jennifer‘s place. She and Javier were extremely friendly and helpful. The house is lovely and the pool is quite nice. The house is very close to everything in town. The Internet was out at the house for a short period of time, but Javier and Jennifer worked hard to quickly get it resolved. One thing to be aware of, parking is a challenge if you’ve never been to Sayulita. There is nowhere to park at the house. However, we found a spot on the street about two blocks away and the car was perfectly fine there the whole time. If you go, I recommend the breakfast taco at Sur38!

Very nice house, and functional, as it has a room on the ground floor. Excellent location! Just the stairs to the... The check-in process is a bit cumbersome. There's no parking, but the I left the car on the street without any problems. We had a great time!!

I loved the decor of the house and the amenities, especially the pool. Check in was easy. Although the description stated there were stairs from the street, a handrail would have made them easier for my parents. Overall, a great place that I would recommend.

From start to finish Jennifer's property was a great choice. She has a great property manager that you will be in contact for check-in, and he is very helpful. We were allowed to leave our bags at the property prior to check-in as they finished cleaning, which was incredible after a day of traveling. Received check-ins from him seeing if we needed anything during our stay. The house is quiet, comfortable, and it's easy to feel at home here. We felt extremely safe and the home is secure. The location is right downtown, but just far enough from the busier nightlife part of town that you can't hear a thing at night. Great experience and I would/will recommend over and over again.

This is our third stay at this property and it feels like a home away from home. Cannot beat the location... close enough to restaurants and beach but far enough away from the the hustle and bustle. The home is cozy yet spacious and the pool is perfect. Definitely a slice of paradise. Can't wait to book trip number four!

This home was beautiful and perfectly decorated. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessities, making it easy to cook. The pool was great, we used it every evening. We loved being close to the center of town. However, a few nights we needed ear plugs to sleep. It's a fair trade off and well worth it location wise. A quick walk to the beach and center of town. The design of a private bath for each bedrooms was perfect for 3 couples or large family sharing. We loved this home and look forward to visiting again in the future. Lastly, Jennifer was very responsive and accommodating. I'd give 10 stars if I could.

Beautiful Villa, as shown in the pictures. Clean, spacious and air-conditioned spaces. Beautiful view, the place is very quiet and 3 minutes from the beach (walking). Pool with perfect temperature. The manager is always very helpful at all times.

Such a wonderful place. Went with my husband and two kids - 6 and 10. We loved the pool and it was the perfect temp. Loved the house and the location - two blocks to the beach. Three bathrooms was a bonus. My 6 year old called her room a dreamscape. The house manager was great and friendly. Best vacation we have ever taken! We are so sad to leave!

We had a fantastic time. We loved the pool and the outside patio. We hung out on the rooftop every early evening, too. The beds were very comfy. The kitchen was well stocked with some staples and all needed to cook a simple meal. The home is very, very close to the Sayulita beaches and the square, and all the restaurants and shops. We were there in the off-season, but it was still quite busy. The bars stay open/noisy until 3 AM, mainly on the weekend. And you can hear the noise some nights, so I was glad that I had my earplugs. We would most definitely stay again in this home. We appreciated the home manager, Javier, very much, and the house cleaners were there 2x while we stayed the week, and we appreciated that very much. As a side note, make sure to bring cash to Sayulia (pesos are best) because almost none of the ATMs work, and there are very limited places to exchange. And about 1/3 of the businesses take cash only. Thanks so much for the lovely home and hospitality!!

Thank you Jennifer for a wonderful experience. The ease of walking or golf carting around town was great. The house manager was excellent in communication and very helpful. The cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful. The casa is exactly how described in the listing. The recommended transportation service was easy to use although I was a little late in reserving. I would probably reach out about a week ahead for arrangements.We really enjoyed our stay and loved the town of Sayulita. This was our first time in Sayulita and we will definitely be back. Overall excellent experience.

Amazing home and perfectly located in Sayulita - walkable to everything & amazing pool!

We loved this place. What a magical place. Jennifer was easy to work with and let us know what to expect. We couldn't of had a better vacation.

Our group very much enjoyed our stay. Easy walk to town with lots of great restaurants nearby. The house was lovely. Used the roof top spot every evening to wind down, and the pool in the heat of the day.

We loved how the pool was directly off the patio, it was clean and warm, and half of it's deep enough for moving around a bit. The house and patio are surrounded by wonderful foliage. We thoroughly enjoyed the rooftop for early morning breakfasts or late night relaxation after being out. We cooked a litte - there are ample pots, pans and utensils. Something wonderful about this house is its proximity to town, yet with proximity came the noise of clubs and beach parties until 3am, however, we were pleasantly surprised by how well the noise was blocked when we shut the doors and windows! I still recommend earplugs as backup. Things to note: one of our party is 6'3" and the queen beds felt more like the length of a double to him - it might be wise to ask about actual length of the queen beds if you're tall. Another commenter mentioned all the stairs - not a problem for us but someone with mobility issues would be challenged by the quanitity. We were really pleased with Villa Dulce Vida!

Perfect villa for our family of four (including 13 and 15 year olds)! Great location in Sayulita. Hosts recommended reliable car service and a lovely chef who came to the villa ana gave us a cooking lesson one night. The villa was clean and tidy. The outdoor shower and pool were used daily to relax after the beach or exploring the town.

A perfect stay for our group of six (four adults and two kids) for a week in Sayulita. The property with its private pool, terraces, and garden is a beautiful oasis. We enjoyed sunrise coffee with a view from the house’s rooftop cabana every morning and hanging in the pool each afternoon. Nice central location with an easy walk to the beach and main plaza. Yes it’s loud at times, but that’s just the town. With the windows closed and some earplugs it didn’t bother us too much. Inside is simple and clean. Colorful local art fills the house. Comfortable beds and a kitchen stocked enough to cook simple meals. Overall a very good stay. Would book again and recommend to family and friends.

I can’t recommend this villa enough! Super close walk to town, we didn’t even need to rent a golf cart. We were a group in town for a wedding and we had a blast! Communication was great and we got everything we needed. Great price for everything you get! We’ll be back!

Amazing space. I read a lot of the reviews before we came and saw there were concerns of music and noise at night. However, the music was never that loud and with the windows shut we heard nothing at all! It was peaceful and we slept amazingly. The house is beautiful, the pool was super clean and the location was perfect. We were walking distance to the plaza, close to the beach and views were breathtaking. The owners were responsive and very helpful with recommendations. Only thing to note is there are a lot of stairs so be prepared to walk. 10/10 stay and cannot wait to be back.

It was an oasis when you walked up the long flight of stairs. It was a bit noisy a few nights well into the night as they were celebrating Sayulita independence days. We did have fun experiencing some of the events in the daytime.

The house is beautiful, and there's a view of the ocean from the top floor. All the shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance.

Great stay! Super close to the main square of Sayulita - walkable to shops and restaurants. House is clean and comfortable. There are 3 bedrooms each with their own bathroom. Pool has roomy lounge areas and can be heated if needed. There is also a rooftop seating area which is completely shaded and offers partial ocean views, making for a nice place to eat enjoy a drink. Hosts and the house manager (Eric) were super responsive/easy to work with! Gave lots of local recs for activities, golf carts, etc. There are only two things I’d call out for this place: stairs and noise. There are lots of stairs leading up to the property, and inside the house. This is not a good location if limited with walking. The noise at night here can be an issue if you’re a light sleeper. It’s next to a few hoppin bars and the music is LOUD if you keep windows open. With everything closed it’s not so bad and ear plugs really help. There’s A/C to keep you cool. Overall would recommend & hope to be back!

It was all good just a few small maintenance issues. I’m sure Eric looked after that after we had left.

Super cute place! Really conveniently located and walking distance to everything. It was great for 3 couples - everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom and the kitchen came well stocked with cooking supplies. It was really nice to sit out by the pool in the evening and the location truly could not be better.

Fabulous place to stay and great location as long as you don’t mind noise. I knew to bring earplugs for the family so it was no problem. Loved how close it was to beach and restaurants so no need to rent a cart or car which saved us a lot of time! Beautiful views and pool. The manager Eric was super friendly and helpful and full of great suggestions. Would highly recommend this place!

Beautiful home in a beautiful town. We hope to return in the future!

As everyone else has said, this home is a great location, just at the edge of town. You walk just a block and you are in town or another two blocks and you are at the beach! We were so pleased we chose this house and the location. I advise any looking to come to Sayulita to have an open mind. This is a wonderful town but it’s rustic or some say gritty. That’s part of the charm - embrace it! When you walk up the many steps to this house, you are in your own little oasis. But you still hear all the sounds of the town as many others have stated. It really didn’t bother us. We felt very comfortable and relaxed in this lovely house. The pool was wonderful to have when you come back from walking around and need to cool off. The rooftop is also a a nice addition and is an enjoyable place to start or end your day. Eric was extremely responsive with communication and explained everything we needed to know about the house.

My family of 6 and I had a fantastic stay in Sayulita. The property was spacious, the pool was delightful and the close proximity to the beach, restaurants and shopping was great. I hope to repeat this trip in the future.

Villa Dulce Vida is a find! The pool was gorgeous and the perfect temperature. The location was perfect for walking to restaurants, shops and the beach. The house was so clean and everything was easy to find. The AC and fans worked great to keep us cool at night. Eric, the house manager, was so responsive and helpful. Overall, the value was excellent for the house and I would stay again if I get to visit Sayulita in the future.

We loved our stay here. The location, cleanliness, responsiveness of host, privacy and location made me feel like I got the best deal ever. Truely a gem of a place you will not be disappointed. Location is perfect. Walkable to everywhere. Safe day or night. The host lives in town and is super responsive. I needed batteries for the AC remote, I got them within a few hours. Stay here and make happy memories !!

This is a great place to stay, so that you can explore Sayulita. The home is beautiful and our daughter thoroughly enjoyed the pool and outdoor dolphin shower.

Villa Dulce Vida was the perfect house for our extended family of six! The location was ideal, blocks from the central plaza, walkable to beaches, restaurants, bars, live music, transportation, etc. It was quite hot during our stay, and we loved having the pool and lovely patio to cool off and relax whenever we returned from various outings. Lots of stairs but that was fine for us; it was great to be perched up above the lively neighborhood. The house had everything we needed and more: ensuite bathrooms for each bedroom, lots of drinking water, fans, a great kitchen though we mostly ate out, outdoor shower, and a fun rooftop lounge with refrigerator for relaxing, great views, seeing iguanas and birds, etc. We could not have stayed at a better place for our vacation in Sayulita!

Highly recommend this beautiful house. It is very close to everything. There is a parking space for a golf cart. The pool was clean and well-maintained. The palapa rooftop deck is a very nice and has a nice view of the town. The kitchen is well-stocked. Bedrooms were each air conditioned and clean. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms clean. There are about 50 stair steps from the street to the house, so if climbing stairs is difficult, this is not the place for you. It was no problem, however, for the three people in our group who were over 70.

Had such a great stay at this property. You are right in the hustle and bustle of Sayulita with everything just a short walk away. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

This is one of the best places in Sayulita! Upon check-in, our host met us in person and walked us through the property, providing us wonderful recommendations and insight into Sayulita. The location is amazing. It is about a one minute walk from the square. There is a store across the street with everything you would need. The private pool was worth every penny. We will definitely be back!

We had the best time in this gem! It was located near the plaza and shops, the pool was refreshing and fun, and the beds were very comfortable. To top it off - literally - was the rooftop terrace with ocean views. Amazing! We had an amazing time and wish we could stay forever!

Ralph and Jennifer were wonderful!! They were so responsive and kind throughout our trip. We had a hard time finding the house and Ralph talked with me on the phone and even came to find us to help us get into the home safely. They were responsive to us all trip long, even bringing extra blankets and pillows when asked. The house is so cute and beautifully decorated. Lovely experience!

Everything on the property was fantastic. However we didn't see that it doesn't have a garage and that was the complicated, why the Transit in sayulita is not easy at all.

The house was perfect for our 7 person, women's trip. The pool, roof top, and bedrooms were all beautiful for our group. The house was amazingly clean, great location, and felt secluded even though it was a short walk to the beach and downtown. Eric was great, very informative and made sure we had everything we needed. Best airbnb experience I have ever had. I would recommend future guests NOT get a golf cart. It was a waste of money for us as long as you don't mind a less than 10 minute walk to anywhere. Parking was more challenging than it was worth. My only request would have been a table on the rooftop so we could have been more comfortable doing dinner up there, it's such a beautiful space! Also, furniture on the second story patio. The sun seemed to hit that first so it would have been nice to have some chairs up there. Overall amazing space and I can't wait to return!

This house was fabulous. You couldn’t ask for a better location. The pool was refreshing and it had great A/C for the hot days. Do make sure to bring earplugs if you are staying over a weekend - you can definitely hear the music from the clubs on the weekend - which we expected and were prepared for. Definitely our favorite stay in Sayulita so far.

This was the perfect Airbnb if you want to be close to town! Our family had an excellent time! They are very responsive and even helped us get our taxi back to puerto Vallarta! I will say that if you have young children you will need to keep an eye on them as there are some areas that could present potential fall risks given the stairs and balcony ledges but we were aware of those going in! Overall highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Ralph and Jennifer's casa. Great location - close enough to walk to everything, but far enough away to escape the city noise. The photos and descriptions matched the property beautifully. Each bedroom was nicely decorated with private on-suite bathrooms and wonderful A/C units. The pool area and upstairs palapa was so relaxing and inviting. We spent many mornings and afternoons relaxing and listening to the birds. 52 stairs to get to the pool deck - but that just meant 2 more tacos I could put in my mouth. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

The house was beautiful and the location was great! The pool was perfect for keeping kiddos occupied. There is a lot to do in Sayulita but it is definitely geared toward the young adult crowd. The noise from town could definitely be heard but was easily drowned out by the fans in the bedrooms. I would highly recommend this house to others. It was a great oasis in the middle of a bustling town.

Our stay at Villa Dulce Vida was far better than we had ever hoped! The villa was perfect in every way - I was worried photos used wide angle lenses or rooms had been staged,but it was as beautiful and spacious as shown. The villa is solid, strong, and while it was festival week, the high quality windows and doors blocked much of the sound of festivities in town. The rooftop palapa was by far our favorite place to hang, and the salt water pool was a daily treat (as was the outdoor shower!). The most appreciated thing of all was our host Eric who put up with my many questions and responded to each immediately with kindness, great information and laughter. A gem! A wealth of information, and always happy to help make our stay perfect! The location was perfect. We walked everywhere and never needed to rent a car or golf cart. Originally we had considered going on adventures, but turned out we enjoyed the villa, town and the nearby beaches so much, we never did! Wonderful villa!!!!!

We had 8 in our crew: 4 adults, 4 kids. The pool was amazing for the kiddos to play in every day and the walk to the beach was no more than 5 min- which we also walked to every day. So many fabulous restaurants we got to enjoy as two families travelling together and also a few great cocktail bars for the parents as well. (The proximity of some bars did make it a lil loud for sleeping- ear plugs or a white noise app on your phone would be recommended. We did this and it worked great). Overall we found the space to be exactly as advertised (maybe even better). We loved it and would highly recommend!

We had a great time in Sayulita and it was mainly because of this beautiful stay! The house is a short walk from the city center, the pool is surrounded by beautiful trees which makes you feel like you’re at a resort. Three bedrooms and all the rooms have a bathroom which is a huge plus with a big group of friends and family. At night it is pretty loud until about 2 am, but it didn’t bother us since we live in the city and are used to it being loud. One member of the group wasn’t used to it so she purchased ear buds and was find the rest of the trip. We felt safe and secure in our little hideaway. Would 100% recommend to families

We loved our stay here! Eric, the house manager, was incredibly helpful and responsive. The location is fantastic, 2 blocks to beach and downtown. Everything is walkable. The pool and landscaping are beautiful. House was clean with plenty of linens and accessories. We would definitely stay here again.

Good spot and location

Great experience! Eric our host went out of his way to accommodate a request for distilled water for a CPAP. It’s clean and right near downtown. I highly recommend visiting this place!! You won’t regret it!!

Ralph and Jennifer could not have been any kinder or more accommodating. Their villa is the perfect private oasis in the middle of a busy city. The home was beautiful and we had an incredible time. Eric was also very helpful and easy to communicate with. This place is a must stay!

We LOVED our stay at the villa! Each bedroom having their own bathroom and excellent A/C was amazing given how humid it was in our trip. The pool was great and location was even better. We were able to park and charge our golf cart we rented too. Only thing is that our check in was pretty delayed due to the guests before us checking out very late. We were able to leave our bags by the pool but wish we could have checked in at the time that was told to us. Other than that the house itself was amazing and we would definitely stay here again!

This place is idyllic and beautiful! The location is perfect, you're close to everything but feel far away when you're at the villa. There was a power outage while we were there which made the first 24 hours difficult as it was too hot to sleep (no AC or fans), but that was not the fault of our host and they were very communicative throughout the ordeal. We were told we could have a late checkout on our final day as nobody was checking in for a couple days, and that we would be free to hang at the house, etc. until we left for the airport. We spent the morning on a hike and when we got back to the airbnb at noon the cleaners were there and it was a bit stressful/ annoying as we would have planned our day differently and packed earlier had we known that. Although it's nice that we got a late checkout, I do think it was warranted based on not having power for over a day (with no offer of any refund). Overall this place is beautiful and amazing despite the small setbacks!

Ralph and Jennifer’s home was perfect for our family of four and a friend that came with us. Plenty of space, close to the plaza and beach, but also offered privacy for relaxing. The pool was an added bonus! We will definitely look to stay here again when returning to Sayulita. We arrived two days after hurricane Lidia passed through. It was hard to find out much information about the conditions of the town after the storm. We were considering postponing our trip. Ralph and Jennifer were super helpful in trying to find out information and were very easy to communicate with. I really appreciate their help!

This villa was awesome for our group. Having the pool was so fun. We were able to do morning swims and evening swims… it was great. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a couple of home cooked meals as well. The beds were comfy and linens were clean. Our house manager was very responsive if we had question as well. The location is also Awesome. Right in town but still didn’t hear noise at night. It was also nice we had the tv in the room for napping or getting a minute out of the sun. This place was awesome… thank you for having us!

We had a fabulous time at Ralph and Jennifers place. Eric is a wonderful host and welcomes you to the property and addresses any questions. The house was truly perfect for our family, the shallow pool at one end for the kiddos was great. The amenities and cleanliness of the house itself was exceptional and the maids were lovely. You are so close to all of the action of downtown Sayulita but feel private and far away once you are behind the locked gate. A truly fantastic vacation and we can't wait to return. Thank you!

Jennifer & Ralph’s place is a beautiful oasis! It’s right in the towns center and just a couple blocks from the beach. We loved our time there. The pool was relaxing and we loved how each room had its own bathroom. This house is perfect for groups!
