We stayed at Gary’s for our family reunion and loved every second of it! Firstly, I should say that every visitor should strongly consider Gary’s recommendations, as they were extremely helpful to us. Even I, who travels to Puerto Vallarta and Nayarit extensively, found his recommendations made all the difference in the world, starting with Tino’s transportation from the airport to the house. Also, Concha (the house manager) was extremely sweet and helpful. We were all so sad to leave! And I hope to stay there again soon!! Thank you, Gary and Concha!

We had an incredible stay at this Airbnb in Sayulita and couldn’t recommend it more highly. The home was absolutely perfect for our group of multiple families with kids—spacious, comfortable, and set up in a way that made it easy for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. The location was ideal—just a short walk to the beach and close to everything we needed, while still feeling peaceful and private. The house itself was very clean and well maintained, and one detail we especially appreciated was the consistent hot water, even with a full house. That’s something you don’t always find in Sayulita. Overall, it checked every box for us. We made some great memories here and would absolutely love to come back again in the future.

Cass Gala was absolutely perfect for our two families. We had 4 adults and 5 kids The house was very spacious and the room with bunk beds was a hit with the kids. The house is in a perfect location close to the beach, downtown, pizza place and great little coffee shop. We absolutely loved our stay. Gary was a great host and answered any questions we had immediately. Five stars for sure!!!

We had an absolutely perfect stay at Gary's beautiful Spanish colonial home. It was a great location, a block from the beach and a block and at the edge of town. Gary's house quickly felt like our home for the week. We fell in love with the house and Sayulita. The pool was beautiful and pristine. It was hard to make up our mind as to whether to spend time by the pool, on the patio, the balconies, or on the terrace. Gary was very responsive and provided us with a ton of helpful information as soon as we booked. His management and cleaning team were incredibly kind and helpful. Kitchen was well stocked. Each bedroom had AC units that worked great. We would stay here and recommend it to others without any hesitation. Can't wait to go back!

We were so grateful to find this home during the war in PV. It was such a beautiful retreat. Didn’t want to leave. Gary was a perfect host helping us get set up so fast. I would love to come back asap. Don’t hesitate to book this lovely home.

The home is exactly as we expected from The listing. The property is very well equipped and maintained. The pool Is wonderful as are all of the outdoor spaces. We spent a lot of time at the house and walked over to the beach most days. The restaurant Chaman next door was our favorite. We also had chefs come to the house to cook for us twice. Both experiences were great. If the home were a little off the beaten path we might have loved it just a tiny bit more; the bustle of the town and the lively restaurant next door are noticeable. But the convenience of the location outweighs the moderate noise factor and we just employed the a/c at night to block out noise when it was an issue. Definitely a five!

We were two families at the house and had an incredible week. Gary was super responsive and helpful with our stay even beyond the house. The house location was great and we all had a fantastic time there!

Casa gala was amazing, such a magical place to stay and Gary and his team are amazing. There was a group of 10 of us and we had the best time ever!

Gary’s space was well worth every penny. We had a family of 9 staying there and we all had adequate space and tranquility. We also had 3 other families staying in Sayulita that would convene at this place to hangout before dinners or beach time. It made for a great rendezvous location. It was literally a 7 minute walk for us to the middle of town so it was far enough from the noise and close enough to party; whatever your heart fancied that day. Great place, great location and extremely friendly and attentive host! Hope to do it again soon!

Home is gorgeous! Host is super friendly and accommodating. Slept really well there. I will say the kitchen area doesn’t get much AC but the rooms and everything else does so we didn’t mind but thought I’d note. Other than that I would recommend this place!

Our four little grandchildren gave our stay an unanimous thumbs up. Their parents and my wife had a great time together in Gary’s Casa Gala. My wife read Gringos in Paradise and shared the interesting history of the home. The proximity to restaurants and the beach worked well for all. Running and walking were fun with a lot of interesting sights.

We stayed at Gary’s place, 6 adults and 2 kids (7 & 2). We had a great time from the moment we checked in! Casa Gala had everything we needed. The layout of the house for a big family, pool/grass area was perfect for kids, the kitchen had all you needed, there were beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, and much more. It’s on the quieter side of town, but extremely walkable to the square. Many restaurants in walking distance. It is an easy 3 min walk to a less crowded beach, We rented a couple beach chairs and umbrellas and also brought some from the house.. The restaurant next door had live music that carried over into the house. We rolled with it and enjoyed the tunes, but used a sound machine to keep the kids' room quiet. Gary was extremely quick to communicate and helpful whenever we had a questions. He offered Greg suggestions on golf cart rentals and in home chefs. With any luck, we'll be back soon.

First time visit to Sayulita with our family of 10. We felt right at home immediately. Gary's communication was excellent, probably one of the better Airbnb owners as far as communication and flexibility. Resort like pool area and so private. Everything was a short walk including the beach. Concha his caretaker quickly responded and resolved an AC issue in one bedroom. We are already discussing a future visit.

Excellent place with a great location in sayulita! We loved everything about the place! Awesome pool area, loved the rooftop deck. Concha the house manager is absolutely lovely! Only complaint would be how noisy the area is at night but that is out of Gary’s control. Thanks for hosting us Gary! We would definitely stay here again!!!!

Last week 9 family members stayed at Gary's house celebrating a 70th b-day. I cannot say enough great things about this place. The house, yard and pool are beautiful! We arrived 2.5 hours before check in. I contacted the house caretaker Concha and she came down in minutes to let us in. She was wonderful and showed us around and explained everything we needed to know. We took Gary's recommendations regarding golf cart rentals and a private chef to come in and cook us a wonderful meal. We moved the dining table to the yard by the pool and enjoyed an authentic, delicious home cooked meal by Cecilia M. I strongly recommend her and her team! Right next door ended up being our favorite restaurant Chaman. It is right over the wall and they played the best music until about 9-10 pm that we enjoyed from the backyard or the 3rd floor patio. Beach is 1/2 block away, and downtown about 10 min walk. Our fam had such a great time and would love to stay here again someday.

Our group of 10 friends in our 30’s had a FABULOUS stay at Gary’s. We spent hours lounging by the pool, played games on the rooftop, and wandered down to the stunning beach only a block away. The house was exactly as pictured - spacious, clean, and very comfortable for a group of 10. Kitchen was stocked with utensils, there were enough bathrooms/showers for the large group, and many spots in the house to lounge around together. There were so many amazing spots for food around Sayulita within a 10 minute walk. The town itself is laid back and colourful. We ask spent a day in San Pancho (20 min cab north) which was just as beautiful and relaxed. Could not have asked for a better trip - THANK YOU GARY!

Gary’s place was great for our vacation. The house was beautiful, and the space was perfect for us to relax and have fun. We loved that we could walk everywhere from the Airbnb, the location was awesome. It was convenient having the Chaman restaurant right next door. Gary gave us a lot of recommendations that were great. We used his recommendation to rent golf carts, and the whole rental was seamless. The only recommendation I would offer to anyone planning on staying here is to use a white noise machine if you are trying to go to bed earlier as the restaurant next door sometimes has music until later into the night. That being said we would definitely stay here again and recommend to family and friends. Thanks!!

Me and my whole family went to Gary’s place and it was exactly like the pictures, beautiful kitchen, rooms were clean, the whole process was very easy and straight forward. Block away from beach access, there is a restaurant right behind the house which we didn’t know about but it never bothered us at all. This place is fully fenced and gated in, we felt super safe and had a great stay. There was plenty of room for ten of us and would highly recommend this place

Wow wow wow this house was our perfect multiple family vacation with lots of kids! We never wanted to leave:)

There were seven of us including two children and we all loved it. The pool was great for the children, the location, the cleanliness, the kitchen, and the amenities that were included were great for the adults. Ample internet for both the kids and adults. There were two washing machines and a dryer which made cleaning the beach towels and swimsuits easy. The Villa was safe, clean, air conditioning/fans were great in the bedrooms and ,made sleeping at night very comfortable. Gary was very responsive to my questions and his instructions to get into the villa, passwords for the internet and directions very easy. I would highly recommend. The villa is a quiet and safe location in Sayulita and an easy walk to the beach.

Casa Gala was well equipped for a 5 day stay in Sayulita in August for a mixed group aging from early 20s to nearly 70s. It is a ways from town, walkable but we maybe should have gotten a large golf cart to make the heat more tolerable for our older group members. The beach near Casa Gala is fantastic. I love how far from the hustle and bustle it was. The house was beautiful. The pool was fantastic. The kitchen was well equipped for the 3 different private chefs we had come to cook for us. Definitely bring bug spray.

We had a great stay at Casa Gala. It is so special to have a private pool and enough room for lots of people. We enjoyed a family wedding just a few minutes up the road and Casa Gala was the perfect home base. Five minute walk to the beach, ten minute walk to town. The house is as advertised, and Concha the manager is responsive if you have questions. Sayulita is a very busy town, so expect the noise, traffic, beach vendors etc. associated with that. We would recommend Casa Gala to anyone with a big group!

The property is beautiful and the location is excellent. It’s close enough to walk everywhere but far enough away to have peace and quiet. And it’s really close to the beach! Casa Gala was just perfect for our two families. The kids made great use of the pool and the beach is so close. We loved walking to the coffee shop a block over to get acai bowls and smoothies. The Chaman next door had great drinks and ceviche. The location was perfect as it was walkable to downtown. The house itself was beautiful and I love that it was completely closed off. We felt extreme safe and secure every day. The rooftop was the perfect place to relax at the end of the day. Gary was extremely responsive, helpful and kind. Thank you Gary for such a great place for a much needed dual family vacation.

Our second time staying at the house, and we loved it just as much as the first time!

We loved staying at Casa Gala! Perfect bedroom setup for our big group, the kids loved the pool and the close proximity to the beach, we loved walking around, and town was close for fun and food. Chaman next door was our go-to restaurant and we could listen to their live music while watching the sun go down on the rooftop deck. We hope to be back soon!

Second Stay, place was perfect as usually. Had our entire family there, kids and grandkids. Staff, Concha, Miguel and Maria were wonderful. Tips - If you have kids, rent a golf cart - or if you are mobility challenged - handy to have and fun for the kids, makes hauling stuff to beach or running to the store easy, but TOTALLY not needed - everything is within a 5 minute walk. - Restaurant next door "Champs" is pretty good - music a few nights a week till 10 PM can be heard from the property - Concha the house manager is on top of any needs - Pay the extra for daily maid service, crazy cheap for total cleaning, fresh towels, etc. each day - Rooftop space is great - consider having Ceilia the local chef cook a couple nights a week and serve your group up on the roof - ATM at bank gives out pesos - about a $3.50 fee (often waived by your bank) and shares a 7.5% fee, about as good as you can get. - Some places take credit cards - us if no fees Amazing trip - we will be back!

Absolutely amazing rental property. Walkable to town but far enough away from the noise. Super clean with all the amenities. The pool was incredible for cooling off in the afternoon. Amazing restaurant right next door that was great for breakfasts and dinners. Highly recommend this listing and booking with Gary!

We loved staying at Casa Gala. We were traveling with our family of 8 and two little ones. The space was perfect. Close to town but an oasis away. The beach access is five minute walk. Gary had cots for the kids and the balcony upstairs was our dance floor and dinner spot. Really cannot say enough about this space. Check out the salsa dancing at the local hostel! Great home in a great location. Spaces are as pictured. Safe area to roam around and close to lots of fun shopping, food and drink options. Easily walkable to beach and town. Rooms were comfortable and the private pool worked well. We would definitely consider staying at this rental again :)

Loved staying at Casa Gala! Super convenient location, very close to the North End Beach and a short walk to the main beach and town. Came as one large family and we all were comfortable in our own rooms and especially loved hanging by the pool. Gary is an especially communicative host and I really appreciated how easy it made our entire stay. We would definitely stay at Casa Gala again or recommend it to our friends.

This house is exceptional! It’s perfectly located at the north quiet end of town, but a 10 minute walk to the action! The house is meticulously maintained ! We absolutely loved the outdoor pool & had more than enough space for 6 of us! We will definitely be back! ❤️

Gary is an excellent host and is able to offer many useful recommendations. Upon arrival, Concha had the house clean and fully prepared for our group of 8 (four couples) to unload our luggage into our rooms and get our vacation started. Within minutes of unpacking groceries, the blender was rumbling and the pool was packed with happy campers. Seven days at Gary’s place in Sayulita was exactly what this group needed to unwind and make some lasting memories together.

Awesome location walkable to beach and town but far enough to be quieter. Pool is awesome and place feels very safe with private gate. Renting a golf cart would be nice during rainy season because streets can get very puddly.

Our stay at Gary's house was fantastic and lived up to all expectations! We've been to Sayulita a number of times and stayed at various condos, hotels and AirBnBs. Thus far, this was 100% our favorite and we will definitely be back again soon. The location is perfect, the house lives up to its billing communication from beginning to end was consistent and seamless. My only fear is that it won't be available for our next stay because of all the amazing reviews!

Great place and great location! Extremely clean and had everything you need! Doña Concha was very sweet and welcoming. Definitely would come back to this house. Busy area but we didn't mind it at all! Never too noisy though and we were close to restaurants/shops/pharmacy.

The house is amazing. The spaces are very good size and well distributed. The garden is also very large and the pool is large; we were a group of 10, and we were all able to enjoy it at once without feeling crowded. The house also comes with everything you need to make your stay very comfortable. Very satisfied with the house, I recommend it 100%. Similarly, the communication with Gary and the people in charge of the house was very effective.

Great way to experience Sayulita with friends and/or family. Perfectly situated right in the middle of things but also just far enough to allow for some quiet and privacy. Excellent communication and the on-site contacts were very helpful. Can’t beat the convenience of the backyard pool during the heat of the summer. Would definitely return.

Perfect location, beautiful home! Casa Gala is the best combination of comfort, luxury, and convenience! There is plenty of room to spread out; and the decor is both contemporary and traditional Mexican. The pool is a perfect space to gather or to cool off after walking around Sayulita. And the location is exactly where you want to be - close enough to the town and the beach, while also removed enough to be quiet at night. Gary is so easy to work with, and Concha makes sure you have all you need during your stay. Hope we can return to Casa Gala again soon!!

What a wonderful time we had at Casa Gala. We are a multi-generational family of 8, and it was the perfect spot for us. Loved the "quieter" north-end of town. The house was immaculate and the kitchen well stocked. We loved the roof-top deck and, of course, the pool! We would highly recommend this house to anyone! Thanks Gary! Alison

This lovely home is at the north end of town but a short walk to all the dining nightlife you might be looking for. You will be glad you not in the middle of town when you want to go to bed. A short walk to the beaches as well.

Nice finishes, small kitchen and living area, large palapa, 3 huge bedrooms. Rooms 4&5 are like a family suite with 2 small rooms, shared shower and hallway sink. Good for 4 couples. Easy walk to north and central,

Gary’s house was perfect! It had plenty of room for us! It was super clean. Gary had great recommendations for the area. This house is a block from the beach and super close to where our friends wedding was it was perfect! I highly recommend coming to sayulita and staying here it was absolutely beautiful!

We are a family of 8 and had a wonderful time at Gary’s casa Gala. Not gonna bore with a long review but I will say that from corner to corner and from top to bottom you will love Gary’s house. Located close enough to town square and all the shops and restaurants and bars. A block away from the beach. Just book it you won’t regret your stay.

The house is very well laid out and functional for a large group. It looked very much like it has a dishwasher and that the rooms are very spacious. We also like that it is very well equipped and we were even able to use a folding crib that they have. The beach is very close and it's really nice. The only thing we didn't love was that the pool water isn't warm. For summer, no problem, but like we went in December if it was very cold.

Great location! Laundry was convenient. Felt safe and secure. We had fun playing the games provided and watching movies as a family after a fun beach day. Surf board, beach chairs, and beach towels were a bonus! Close to market shopping, yummy cafes, and pizza. We love Sayulita!!

Gary was super responsive. Concha and the cleaning team were swiped sweet and a great help. The location was ideal, we loved being on the north side of town. A lil bit of a walk to be able to surf but the the beach closer to us was ideal and less busy for chillin. The pool and the rooftop made this place+ AC in the bedrooms Would love to stay here again.

This is a great spot in Sayulita just within walking distance to the main town. Was nice to hang by the pool and get tacos all over town. Gary and the staff at Casa Gala were excellent and look forward to heading back in the future.

Gary’s place is outstanding; my family and I enjoyed the house’s many amenities; you always get the feeling that everything in the house is top-notch, from the pool to the myriad of A/C units deployed over the place, the superb weber grill that is kept sparkling clean by the cleaning crew, speedy internet access, connected TV, his book collection even the kitchenware. Nothing feels ”cheap,” which adds a lot to the stay. The location is very secure, just distant enough from the busy places to avoid the noise but a few hundred meters to get you into the best places in town. The beach is also close, but you might want to look for better spots in Sayulita to hit the ocean (I recommend Playa de Los Muertos). Gary was always reachable for communication and was super flexible with our check-in times. The local staff was super friendly too; Concha took care of us and would come in now and then to make sure the pool was clean and that we had no issues during our stay. I am sure we will keep coming back to Sayulita for more Casa Gala!

We had a wonderful vacation, the house is simply amazing. It's a place that was fully remodelated, fully equipped, the pics don't lie, you get what you see. It's remarkable the effort Gary has put to provide everything you might need to have a superb experience while staying. The beach is just 1 block away and small downtown is like 5 blocks walking. We liked it and we will definitely return.

This villa is amazing. It had all the amenities our group needed. We particularly enjoyed spending time on the rooftop terrace and cooling off in the pool. Gary was a great host, always responding promptly. The location is great too - close to both the city centre and the beach. I would definitely stay here again!

Gary is wonderful and his home was perfect for our stay in Sayulita. We traveled in late August as two couples and five singles and the layout of the home was perfect for our group. The house manager was readily available for any question or concern that arose for us and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We rented a golf cart due to the heat and size of our party but the location is definitely walkable if you like to walk. Our trip was not perfect due to circumstances outside of our control, but when life happened Gary was right there to help us figure things out and we couldn't have asked for a more understanding and on-top-of-it host. I highly recommend this rental.

We could not have had a better stay at Casa Gala. From the super clean and updated space, to the great quality towels and linens, to the fantastic rooftop and pool, it was all perfect. The house is on the “north” side of town, which is just enough away from the fray of Sayulita to keep the neighborhood quiet and sleepy, but less than 10 minutes walk to the bustling center. Frankly, we had better meals at the restaurants closer to the house and away from the scene than we did “in” town. We super hope to return to Casa Gala, it was one of the best AirBnB experiences we’ve had to date.

Casa Gala was great! We loved everything about it! The location could not have been better, so close to the ocean and a great beach with not so many people! The house was very spacious and very well decorated It was very accurately described in the Airbnb posting! The pool and garden were also fantastic and we spent a lot of time there! Conchita was very attentive to all of our needs and questions. Great place to spend time relaxing with family and friends! Seamless checking in and out. We would love to return!!
