Villa Sol Y Luna

Amazing time a service top to bottom. Pedro who worked the grounds showed us the nesting turtles and helped us watch the hatching of babies. All right on our doorsteps. Incredible place. Melanie was phenomenal is helping us get the best rides and boat services whenever we needed. Food was also great. So many leftovers always. Hope to come back one day!

Beautiful home that felt very private. Easy walk to the beach. On site staff was unexpected but a nice surprise. They cleaned daily and did not bother us. The gentleman that took care of the outdoors was always there if you needed something and eager to show you the turtles every evening on the beach. Quick drive from the airport and away from all the busy tourist areas, but also close enough to town to get groceries or go out.

We were a group of 26 guests and had a wonderful stay. The villa and the location are very nice and large. We had a very nice time and can recommend this villa to others. We also successfully used Chef Ismail on the last day. Thank you for all the good care. Also very clean.

Our large family group of 24 mix of kids and adults had plenty of room to spread out and be together. Each day the house staff cleans the rooms, makes the beds and does the dishes leaving time for more rest and less stress. We ordered the chef service and Ismael was amazing. All the food was so delicious from home made donuts, fish tacos, grilled steaks and chicken, daily guac and pico. The sea turtles were nesting and each night we could walk right out the front door to see them— so cool! You have a private beach and pool. The seaweed was copious this week in July which seems to be unpredictable. We still spent a lot of time in the ocean and the house has sand toys and six boogie boards which the kids loved. There is a hut for shade on the ocean and so much cozy seating by the pool. The pool is 4 feet so great for kids and has steps littles can hang on at entry. AC in bedrooms is great. Melanie the host is AMAZING. Highly recommend.

We had our wedding celebration / family reunion at villa sol y Luna at the beginning of July. It was everything we hoped it would be and more. The property is beautiful and we were blown away with the amazing service of our host Melanie, as well as the housekeeping and grounds keeping staff. When we checked in they had the fridge stocked with drinks, and fresh chips and guacamole on the counter waiting for us. The rooms were spacious, very well kept, and had great views. Each room had its own bathroom and most had balcony access. I would also highly recommend the chef service if you do stay there. The food was amazing, and they made it super easy to book and they take care of all the grocery runs/cleanup. We were worried about the sargassum on the beach traveling in July, but their crew was out super early every morning taking it off the beach and making it nice for us.

Great communication. Beautiful house. Excellent staff. We also hired chef Ismael and crew which was amazing. The only thing which has nothing to do with the place is that it is too bad that Riviera Maya has so much sea weed this time of year.

We had an incredible stay and couldn’t recommend it more. Mel was an amazing host responsive, thoughtful, and made everything feel seamless from start to finish. The house honestly exceeded our expectations and is even nicer in person than it looks in the photos. One highlight we highly recommend is booking the chef, it completely elevated the experience and was such a special touch. Overall, a perfect stay and we would absolutely come back.

This place was truly exceptional and easily one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had. We stayed here with a group of friends, and the home was absolutely perfect for it. Beautifully designed, spotless, and incredibly well set up, with plenty of space to relax, spend time together, and still have privacy. Everything felt thoughtful and intentional, and the property was even better than the photos. What really made the stay stand out was Melanie. She was an amazing host from start to finish, incredibly responsive, kind, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great experience. Everything felt seamless and easy because of her. We couldn’t recommend this place or Melanie more highly and would absolutely stay here again.

It was a very nice stay! Beautiful place, private, clean beach, great chef (we hired a chef they recommended) and housekeeping was exceptional! Very responsive to needs or questions! Proactive on finding out how we were doing! Only real issue were the mosquitos in the evening (around 6:30pm, rest of the time it’s fine)! Bring your mosquito repellent! We were 23 people including 7 children and we all enjoyed it and recommend it!!!

Private beach and surroundings. I can not give more praise to the staff and the property. i would take this property for any large family or friends, has 11 beds accross 7 rooms - 3 more rooms on request. PAY the extra for CHEF ISMAEL to cater meals, amazing and reasonably priced.

We were very pleasantly surprised to walk in to the big house. The pictures are older and it was recently painted, and in reality it felt much more amenable and nicer than what we expected from the pictures. This is a private beach front property and we had all the privacy and quietness we were looking for. The house is fully staffed and we also requested the chef who cooked and went grocery shopping for us so we had no need to leave for the whole vacation. Here’s daily cleaning of rooms, kitchen, etc, and they even clean the beach from algae (sargasso), all very servicial. We had a minor issue with the chef where he added personal shopping to our expenses and he ended up covering it- note that the chef is not part of the house but recommended by them. Overall a great experience and top service and recommend it widely.

This place was amazing. We stay at a different Airbnb every year and this is by far the best we have stayed at. The pictures don’t do justice for how nice the beach is. The house was perfect. The staff were perfect. We did the chef service which was also amazing. We really couldn’t find a negative about our stay.

The house is amazing, highly recommend! Melanie greeted us on 1st day and walked us through everything. Don Pedro, Alba and the rest of the staff did a great job and were very friendly. Outside area by bar and pool was awesome, and location on the beach can’t be beat. Great house and great people!

Big House perfect for group with huge common areas, very well equiped swimming pool and beach area with kid games, kayak, bodyborads and so on. The housekeepeing and maintenance team on site is extremely attentive to make your stay enjoyable, helping out whenever needed without being oppressing. Rooms are big and confortable. Chef service are available and at very affordable cost compare to the quality of the service. Beach have small waves, nothing too dangerous but maybe not suitable for very small children who will enjoy better the pool and jaccuzzi that do provide a shallow part. Maybe the only small issue of the house is the fact that the house is 15 Minutes drive from any shop, so a rental car seems to be needed since the taxi service (even though easily available from the hotel next door) can be abit pricey. We would love to come back as soon as possible!

It is a very spacious comfortable and cozy house ! La playa bella! The only detail is that it had rained and entering the property was a little flooded, next door there is a mangrove and lives a crocodile. Father see it

The house was extremely comfortable, roomy and clean. Everyone was impressed at how well they slept in the cozy beds. Having a bathroom for each room added another level of privacy and comfort. Since we had some very windy days, having a protected pool from the beach was well taken advantage of. The beach was beautiful and gave us many hours of fun and sun. Overall, this was a fantastic vacation getaway. I would highly recommend the Villa SolyLuna for a family getaway!!

Wow! Wow! Wow! The home the view, the staff all AMAZING!! More than spacious and very accommodating for our family of 28. We were blessed to have found this beautiful home for our family reunion. Highly recommend Chef Ismael and his staff, meals are delicious! Don Pedro, Loida and their staff always very helpful and left the house spotless in no time. What an AMAZING place and experience for the whole family. The groundskeeper and maid service was wonderful and so pleasant. The rooms, so tastefully done, were immaculate and so comfortable. There is so much to do, plus the private, beautiful calm beach. Ahhhh .... so pleasant. Everyone had a great time. We loved it!!!!!!
