We had a great time staying at Joe’s villa. The property offers stunning ocean views and plenty of space, all beautifully and artistically decorated. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the beach—quite steep, but manageable for us. There are a few beachside cafés nearby, as well as an OXXO convenience store. You’ll also find plenty of restaurants in Zona Romántica, just a quick Uber ride away (around $4–6). Joe was a friendly and helpful host. He promptly answered all our questions and provided great local recommendations. We truly enjoyed our stay.

We had an amazing stay at Casa Love! First off, we prefer to be away from the busy-ness of downtown, and this location did not disappoint. Very private and comfortable - only a 15 minute walk to one of the best beaches we've been to in the area, and about 25 minutes to get down the hill to Centro PV. The walk back up is STEEP, as others have mentioned - so unless you're going to uber/taxi everywhere, this location is not recommended for those with mobility issues. The building is clean, quiet and privately gated. Access to laundry was great. The suite was lovely - very comfortable beds. We had Elizabeth grocery shop before arrival, so the kitchen was fully stocked. Hector picked us up from airport, which was also nice. Joe is a gracious Host. We recommend booking for 2 couples max - as the simple, smaller bedroom does not compare to the two other grand Master suites. The floors get super slippery when wet, so be cautious of this. Otherwise - we highly recommend staying here!!

Absolutely beautiful place, stunning sunsets. Easy enough walk down the hill to a great bar/restaurant and an OXXO. Would definitely stay again and recommend to family / friends.

Casa Love was terrific! Great location; amazing views; spacious condo; incredible infinity lounge pool; the upstairs balcony off the bedrooms was incredible for morning coffee or sunset cocktails; Elizabeth the housekeeper made us THE most delicious Mexican breakfasts; easy to get Ubers/taxis; Joe was very responsive and helpful. We loved our stay!

This place is definitely more than we expected. Breathtaking views of the ocean and mountains. Pictures don’t do it justice. Spent most of time out at the main patio and pool overlooking the pacific. The beach minutes away named Playa Conchas Chinas was crystal clear and tranquil. Adding this to one of favorite Airbnbs!

we absolutely loved our stay at Joe's place. The views are unbeatable, the staff was lovely, Joe's communication was very prompt and helpful. Location is good, a 10 minute walk to the beautiful beach. Definitly more of a 20 plus minute walk to town but uber is so inexpensive that it was no problem at all. beds were super comfortable and the place is perfect for 2 couples. We would recommend Joe's place to anyone.

Sunsets will never be the same once you’ve seen them from here! Casa Love Art is a hidden gem in Puerto Vallarta’s Romantic Zone. This 2800 sq ft, 3-bed, 3-bath townhouse blends Old Mexico charm with modern luxury, offering a seamless indoor-outdoor flow for total privacy, serenity, and tranquility. The design is perfect, making you feel at home from the moment you arrive. Relax in the infinity saltwater pool, take in breathtaking ocean views from the master suite decks, or walk down to pristine Conchas Chinas Beach just below. We stayed six nights, but after a flight delay, we spent a night at the nearby Hilton—a so-called 4.5-star that felt like a cattle feed lot compared to Casa Love. If you want to ditch the commercialized vacation and experience true villa luxury, Joe’s place is the only choice. You can even watch whales in the bay while showering, lying in bed, or sipping coffee on the balcony. Truly unforgettable!

Joe’s place was so beautiful! The views were unparalleled, the space itself was lovely, the beds were so comfortable and the indoor-outdoor living was perfection. Close to town, easily accessible by Uber (walking to town is also an option for those willing to tackle the hills). Joe was so responsive and gave many helpful suggestions, the best of which being his housekeeper Elizabeth, who was delightful and made us some of our favorite meals in Mexico. Could not recommend this place more highly and would not hesitate to return here.

We loved our stay at Joe’s stunning townhouse! His place is better than the photos. The “Mexican Mykonos” vibe was spot-on, complete with jaw-dropping ocean views from the pool and deck—pure bliss. Joe has a great taste in art and design. Every corner has a unique blend of Old Mexico charm and modern luxury — creating the perfect retreat. Just a short walk to Conchas Chinas Beach and minutes from the Romantic Zone, this was the ideal balance of chill and thrill. Highly recommend!

Joe's place was incredible! It was like having your own mini resort to yourself. My family thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights there. We spent every minute we could on the main level, whether in the pool, on the daybed, eating outside or cooking in the well stocked kitchen. plenty of space and sleeping spots upstairs and another patio with a fantastic view. sunsets from patios were stunning. Hector picked us up from the airport and it was a breeze. Elizabeth was so lovely and cooked us a fantastic meal one night. The place is at the top of a hill, and it's a bit of a hike to get up, however we did it with a 15 month old strapped to our backs so it's very doable. zona romantica is a 20 min walk and plenty of restaurants and drink spots. lovely area. conchas chinas beach is a 15 minute walk and lots of beach space in low tide. all in all, we would stay again and thanks to Joe for being such a great, responsive host.

Booked Casa Love for New Years 2024, and had a wonderful stay. Private, cocooned, peaceful, with beautiful views from every window. The bustle of the city was just 5 minutes away, but felt like a world away. Truly the best of both worlds, and look forward to staying here again, hopefully very soon.

Joe's place was an amazing retreat and he was very responsive and made things very easy for us. The pool was the perfect place to watch sunsets. The artwork was inspiring. Hector picked us up and was very hospitable. Elizabeth made us a delicious home cooked meal when we arrived late at night. Our only issue was there's not always enough hot water when everyone was using it. We loved our stay and would definitely come back.

Joe's place was absolutely stunning! I did not want to check out! The space was decorated beautifully, pristine location and views of the ocean from the pool were an absolute dream. Joe was incredibly communicative and flexible with our requests. 10/10 would stay again!

Joe’s home was extremely comfortable. We were made to feel welcomed by everyone we interacted with on the property/building, including we got to meet Joe at our check in! Elizabeth came to make us breakfast (upon request) one day and that was really special. It was delicious! This trip to PV was elevated by our accommodations. This home is very safe, clean, private and most importantly relaxing. The view is just breathtaking and to have your own private pool is amazing. We stayed as two couples and it was a perfect balance of privacy and space for all of us! Most things are not walkable, however there are some things close, transportation between Ubers and cabs were never an issue. I was originally hesitant to stay in an Airbnb for this trip and in the end, this was the best part of our time in PV!

Casa Love was amazing and peaceful ♥️ Joe was always responsive and friendly. We felt like we were spending time in a friend’s private retreat. We are hoping for a return visit to Casa Love. If you are lucky enough to spend time there you definitely won’t be disappointed.

Casa Love was such an amazing place to stay. Joe and his team were all so helpful and treated us like family. We loved setting up a private dinner with his chef Hector and having Elizabeth his housekeeper clean as well. View was amazing :) I would highly recommend Joe’s lovely house.

The place was peaceful and has a beautiful view. Sleeping at night with the breeze off the bay was great. Joe was a fantastic host, very accommodating, gave great recommendations and quickly resolved an issue when we arrived. The only thing to note for other travelers is that there is no TV in the common living space. The only TV is in 1 of the master bedrooms, while this usually isn't an issue to most we stayed there over Christmas and wanted to watch a Christmas movie while eating or laying on the sofa. Just a note, otherwise it was a fantastic place.

This place is amazing - like the other reviewers say the photos do not do it justice. We had Elizabeth cook us breakfast 4 times - chilaquiles, enchiladas and more - everything was amazing. She is very kind and thoughtful and we enjoyed waking up slowly with fresh breakfast to this VIEW. The house is on top of a VERY steep hill, and it is not currently walkable to the romantic zone (I did one day, a local told me the road that you could take has been closed for a year and to take the beach over rocks etc). You can walk down to the restaurant and the OXXO at the bottom of the hill in about 10 mins. Ubers we’re easy and $5 or less for the majority of places we wanted to go. The beds were comfy and the AC worked well in the bedrooms. One room is larger with a living space and TV, the other is still a primary suite just a bit smaller. There is also a tiny 3rd bedroom that would be good for children. We also loved that there is free laundry right next to the unit! We were able to do a load before heading home which was very nice. Overall we hope to visit again! Thank you Joe & Elizabeth!

This house is incredibly beautiful. The views, the private pool, and privacy you get are unmatched. Joe is also an amazing host! He was excellent with communicating with us and quickly responding to our questions, as well as resolving any concerns we had during our stay. He also offered for us to utilize the services of his maid, Elizabeth, for some home cooked meals. I’m sooooooo glad we decided to go for it! Having Elizabeth make us breakfast every morning was honestly one of the best experiences we had in PV. She made authentic Mexican breakfast, which was probably some of the best meals we had while in PV. It was also relatively inexpensive (from a US dollar standpoint). Highly recommend having her services as part of your stay, if you can afford it. We will definitely stay here again on our next PV trip! Miscellaneous things: - wifi is strong throughout the house - the kitchen is fully equipped - we cooked a few meals during the trip and had everything we needed - Neighborhood is extremely quiet and beautiful - makes for good evening walks - it can get a bit hot downstairs but the fan plus opening the door should be sufficient

Beautiful house with everything you need to stay put; perfect location and view. Thank you to Elizabeth for all her help with communication and everything else; she was always very attentive. Such a wonderful, relaxing, & beautiful home with breathtaking views. We were super happy with our stay at Casa Love. The pool alone was worth it. Joe is quick to respond and attentive which makes for a great host. Highly recommend this place to any couple looking to get away at the height of fabulousness.

Joe's condo was absolutely perfect for our stay in Puerto Vallarta! The home itself was so cozy and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The private pool was such a treat.. If you're not into sightseeing and traveling to simply relax, Joe's condo is the perfect place to do so since you have a great view, privacy, and the option to hire a private chef for your meals (which we definitely will try next time!). We did some sightseeing and we were easily able to uber back and forth for a few bucks to the Romantic zone. Beach is in walking distance - 5-10 min. If you're older or have weak knees you can talk a quick Uber since it's a steep, cobbly hill. Joe was so responsive and provided so many helpful recommendations. Can't give him enough praise! Thank you for amazing stay :)

We loved our stay at Casa Love! So glad we went for this over a more modern condo, the private plunge pool with views over the ocean really made it extra special. It really feels like a home with all the art and cosy decor. Joe was super responsive and helpful with any questions we had throughout our stay. We even had a private dinner cooked by Elizabeth at the apartment one evening which was delicious and a real treat. That and watching the sunsets with a glass of wine in the evening made it feel extra luxurious. Highly recommend Casa Love and I'm sure we will be back.

Joe's Casa Love Art Beach House is amazing. A great view, and a great location. Joe was gracious host and he has an amazing team willing to help from catered meals to car service. The place is clean, relaxing and serene.

This is where you come for a spectacular view! Joe was the perfect host. Always extremely responsive to any issues or questions. The house is beautiful and was perfect for our party of 4. Joe has filled the house with lots of interesting artwork. I found something new everyday. Beds are comfortable and rooms are lovely. The house is on a hill and not very accessible by foot and not for those who aren’t mobile, as the streets are pretty rough and sidewalks are hard to find. Uber is easy and cheap to town so it’s not much of a problem. We loved out stay!

Joe's place out over the full bay and sits high above the noise of the city. The sleeping quarters are upstairs separated from the living/dining/pool area and there's ample room to be to alone to read or nap. The open floor plan works well and there lots of great art. Joe's available, very helpful, and has great suggestions for visiting PV. We spent 5 glorious restfull days there feeling like locals and not tourist. We'll be back.

First of all, Joe is a great host! He is quick to respond and offered great suggestions on everything from the best grocery stores to the best day trips. Casa Love itself is such a find. The view is spectacular. I could have spent my entire week lounging in the warm sunshine on the patios (and in the pool) while watching the boats, birds and whales. Just gorgeous. There is a ton of space in the house to spread out and relax. It is quiet at night, and you can hear the waves crashing on the shore below. It has a great vibe and instantly feels like home. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends.

Joe’s place was just perfect for the 2.5 weeks of my sabbatical that we stayed. It has absolutely insane views of the bay and beach/rocks below from both the top and(!) bottom outdoor spaces. The decor inside was so thoughtfully placed yet eclectic and really made the place stand out. We even took inspiration from the torso artwork in the entryway and bought our own to bring back to Boston! The true crown jewel of the place is the private pool. We spent most of our time in or beside it and the provided pineapple float provided hours of floating and reading time. The staff and Joe were also incredibly friendly and accommodating when we needed cleaning service or had questions about anything in the building. Don’t hesitate to book this place and experience the most gorgeous sunsets of your life!!! Other random notes: the kitchen was well equipped, the internet and wifi were sufficient for my husband to work remotely and be on zoomvideo calls, the neighborhood was quiet and felt safe, it is a easy walk *into* town but I highly recommend an Uber back as it is straight up hill (worth it for the views and Ubers are very cheap and readily available). The AC worked well but we only used it the first night as we found the ceiling fan and open windows to be sufficient.

We loved our stay and even after 4 weeks were sad to leave . It’s an older building and several minor issues cropped up but they were all handled promptly and professionally. The location is fantastic. A short walk along the beach to Old Town and the hill on the way back enabled us to not feel too guilty about an extra Margarita!

We initially chose this Airbnb based off of photos and when we arrived to the condo, we were blown away that it was even better in person! The highlight of the property is the outdoor area. The infinity pool and lounge chairs make it a perfect spot to watch the sunset and enjoy a margarita. This is a perfect location to choose if you are looking for privacy, yet some fun in the city, as the shops/restaurants are a 10 min walk or 2 minute cab ride. My boyfriend and I loved walking through the cobblestone streets of Conchas Chinas and we felt very safe. Our host, Joe was extremely responsive to all of our questions and concerns. He stayed in contact with us during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. It was only two of us, but there are three bedrooms that could comfortably sleep 5-6. The beds were cozy and soft with essential amenities stocked in the bathrooms. Highlight of the upstairs is the incredible patio right off of the master and guest bedroom! Again, perfect and tranquil spot to enjoy morning coffee or a drink. If you are planning a trip to PV, I would highly recommend this spot!

I can’t even begin to tell you what an amazing time we had in PV at Casa Love. The condo itself was the nicest that we had ever stayed in the 12 trips we have taken to PV. The pictures are wonderful on the site, but truly don’t do it justice. Joe is a 10 star host that was always there to help with anything and gave some wonderful recommendations. You should stay here if you get the chance.

Our stay at Joe's Casa Love Art Beach House was just fabulous! The house is cozy, yet plenty spacious enough for a group of four. The views over the ocean and mountains and sunsets could not be more spectacular. The indoor/outdoor living is perfect. The two primary bedrooms share an upstairs balcony and have big king beds and their own large bathrooms. We also made use of the small third bedroom which actually was a perfect sleeping spot for one of our group. The AC units in the bedrooms kept sleeping comfortable and worked great. The photos and Joe's description do an honest and great job of describing the beauty and comfort of this home. As a host, Joe was incredibly responsive to text messages and helped us coordinate a delayed arrival, advised us on questions we had throughout our stay, and even managed to get the building handyman to fix a random plumbing issue that occurred within a couple hours of us discovering it. The kitchen was stocked for easy meal preparation and clean up. The building was safe and secure, filled with nice neighbors, and had a huge laundry room that was easy to use whenever we needed it. The Conchas Chinas beach below was an easy walk down and was beautiful with great swimming. We did walk to Zona Romantica one time which was fun, but typically would just call up an Uber to get to town for around USD $3-5 including tip. Often from Zona Romantica we would just jump into a taxi to head back to Casa Love for maybe a dollar more. And of course Zona Romantica has plenty of great restaurants and bars and shops. We loved our time exploring the town and its beach, but always loved coming back to Joe's house where we had the cozy, quiet, incredible views, and beautiful space to kick back and relax. Also loved floating on the pineapple air mattress in the small infinity pool!! I would love to return to Casa Love Art Beach House on a future visit. Thanks Joe for making such a special place available to visitors. We loved it!!

We stayed here for a 10-day getaway. I recommend both the rental and Joe as a host. Very communicative, flexible and accommodating. The entire setup was just what we wanted - close to the beach, far enough from the loud noise, friendly people everywhere, enough house hold items to cook meals, make drinks and chill by the pool.

The place is they type that makes you fall in love with PV and want to come back over and over. The property exudes a feeling of being somewhere far away like Casablanca or Greece. Magical. I never really left other to go to the beautiful beach below.

This Space will not and I repeat will not disappoint. The pictures do not do justice of the views and the exceptional finishes throughout the unit. The outdoor space is the best I’ve encountered at an Air BNB. The infinity pool offers vast views of the Pacific Ocean and some of the best sunsets you will ever see. Joe was an A+++ host. Excellent communication, in addition to great local knowledge and tips on attractions and restaurants to check out. The spot is a short walk or uber ride to Conchas Chinas Beach. A must see attraction. I’d highly recommend anyone looking for luxury in PV to consider Casa Love! I hope to return to stay here again!
