This Airbnb stands out for its attractive finishes, modern appliances, and hotel like amenities such as breakfast and housekeeping, which are uncommon for short term rentals. At first glance, the unit appears well equipped and thoughtfully designed, offering features like air conditioning, washer/dryer access, and contemporary décor that create the impression of a comfortable, higher end stay. However, the overall experience fell short—particularly for large groups like families—due to significant space limitations and inconsistent service delivery. Although the listing claims to accommodate up to 11 guests, the living, dining, and kitchen areas are cramped and impractical for that number, and issues such as spotty Wi Fi, problematic bathrooms, and unclear or unreliable laundry, housekeeping and breakfast services caused frustration. As a result, the property is probably better suited for smaller groups willing to trade space and consistency for aesthetics and included amenities.

We enjoyed our 4-night stay celebrating the new year in our 4 level townhouse at La Santisima. We felt safe and secure within the locked compound with security guard assistance when needed. Daily in-house cooked breakfasts were available and delicious made by charming Viviana the housekeeper. We also enjoyed barbecuing our own food on the rooftop terrace,,taking dips in the plunge pool and drinking morning coffee up there surrounded by wild bird song of parrots and various birds resting in the giant adjacent mango tree. We also enjoyed some city views from there. All the staff we encountered were kind, responsive and friendly. One caution on the building: it is not a good choice for persons with mobility issues or knee, hip or ankle pain. Access to the bedrooms on the 2nd & 3rd levels & roof terrace are narrow, tall and partially spiraled making them challenging to climb. Thank you La Santisima for welcoming us to the fun Getsamani neighborhood and 2026.

Stayed here with my family and had a great time. There are many people that made this stay special; from the person who greeted us, the women who made breakfast, and the gentleman who secured the premises at night; we felt very well cared for a secure. The location is active yet not loud within the home and it is a great neighborhood to walk around. Loved my stay I have no complaints

Beautiful place, awesome staff and the best area to be in. This is simplest way I can put it. My time there was great, I looked forward to the fresh breakfast every morning and the super helpful staff. I would have extended for New Years but it was already booked. This will definitely be your home away from home.

We felt right at home. The house is beautiful, the pool and terrace are amazing. It is located in a very picturesque neighborhood and next to the walled area. Safe area, and it also has private security. They have a cook who makes you a wonderful breakfast and leaves the house very clean. The whole team is very friendly and the house is worth the joy- I'm sure I'll go back to Cartagena and I'll go back to this house.

This place is an absolute gem in the heart of Getsemani. The place is maintained well and has all the amenities that we were looking for. OrKelly(cook, maid, everything) made our stay extra special with her attention to detail for our every request. Ana is very helpful and made us feel at home the moment we arrived. We absolutely loved the terrace and pool. Having Alberto in the night for security made us feel very secure. We were able to walk to all the restaurants and the boats. **“Where do I even begin? This is by far one of the nicest Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. I booked it for my son’s birthday, and we had an amazing time. The place is absolutely beautiful—its Spanish-style décor truly transports you to another era. The rooftop pool was incredibly relaxing and perfect for hanging out with friends, enjoying some music, and sipping a mimosa. The staff was wonderful and always ready to help. Albert and his wife were amazing; Albert especially was incredibly helpful with anything we needed. Breakfast is included, which is very convenient, but if you’re traveling with a group, I recommend buying a bit of extra food so they can prepare it for you—otherwise the breakfast is pretty basic. If you plan on renting the boat to visit the islands, make sure to bring your own towels. The boat captains were fantastic, and we had a great experience with them as well. Overall, I’d give this place a 💯. Just a side note: Cartagena is very expensive, so don’t expect your d

It is a great accommodation, the house is very nice, as seen in the photos, the service team is very friendly, clear and accessible. All super clean, with great design and very comfortable beds. The blackout in the rooms is amazing. Vivi's food is delicious, especially her arepas! Alberto, who takes care of the security of the house, is always very attentive. I would definitely recommend it and we would stay again on our next trip to Cartagena. The place is very close to restaurants and bars in Getsemani, which makes it very convenient to visit and just a 12-minute walk from the walled city. A place gem! My stay at the La Santísima was excellent. The host Ana was nice and very responsive and made sure my stay was excellent. Alberto, the security and the chef in the morning where great staff to have. I felt very safe with Alberto at night as he made sure that I got into my unit fine and no one was following me. My breakfast every morning was amazing. The pool on the rooftop is private and greet with great acoustics throughout the house. The only issue if there was an issue was the size of the room which honestly was not an issue. I’m just used to a bigger room overall lol Overall this was a five star experience. I would definitely say at this place again and they can gladly get my business the price for everything was more than fair.

LA Santisima Pros- great location, close to activities and restaurants, check-in was easy, host was very responsive, Anna and house staff was awesome. Extra services were provided we rented a boat, transportation and birthday decorations. Cons, only one TV throughout the house, showers hot water, not working found bugs in my suitcase, staff reacted immediately to take care of the situation. All in all, it was not a bad stay.

Regarding the points you mentioned: 1️⃣ About the insects, after reviewing the situation, we confirmed they were clothing moths found only in one garment inside your suitcase. Nevertheless, we provided moth repellents for your use and carried out an additional fumigation the following day, even though this is something we do every 15 days as part of our maintenance. 2️⃣ Concerning the TV, we aim to preserve a vacation-friendly atmosphere that encourages guests to enjoy the surroundings. However, the property is equipped with a 65-inch Samsung TV in the living room, with all streaming apps available. 3️⃣ Regarding the hot water, we were surprised by this comment since during your four-night stay — plus the additional night you chose to extend — we did not receive any report about this issue. Had we been informed, we would have addressed it immediately.

I had the absolute best experience staying at La Santísima in Cartagena, Colombia. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding, everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The property itself is not only very safe, but also beautifully designed with modern comforts while still honoring Colombia’s rich history and charm. The staff made a difficult trip much easier for my family, accommodating our group size seamlessly and ensuring we were comfortable at all times. The food was absolutely delicious, the cooks are truly amazing and every meal felt like it was prepared with care and love. This is by far one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed, and I will always choose La Santísima whenever I return to Colombia. We had a truly wonderful stay at La Santísima! The property itself is beautiful. The location is excellent just about a 14-minute walk to the Walled City and also very close to a mall (La Serrezuela), with easy access to transportation. There’s also a grocery store within walking distance, and plenty of great restaurants nearby. We especially enjoyed having Morena restaurant just a 7-minute walk away. The amenities were amazing the rooftop pool were highlights of our trip. Mornings were extra special thanks to the chef who came in to prepare breakfast. The entire experience felt both relaxing and luxurious. The hosts and team members were fantastic: very communicative, responsive, and always willing to help. Overall, we had an excellent experience, and I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Cartagena. My partner and I both truly enjoyed our stay!

Words cannot express the feelings I felt when I entered this home. I knew our girls birthday trip would be greater than imagined. The architecture and design of this home was absolutely astonishing. It featured a light airy kitchen and beautiful sitting area with lovely well appointed living spaces. The rooftop pool/terrace was definitely a vibe with views of surrounding area and colorful parrot visitors. The location of this is unmatched because although it’s in walking distance of the party places in Getsamni the street it’s actually located on is quiet peaceful and serene. The owners were responsive to questions we had and Kelly the attendant of the home was all smiles even though we couldn’t understand one another’s language her smile was universal and she prepared a lovely healthy breakfast that we were thoroughly surprised with. This place for Cartagena is a 1000/100. It’ll always be on my return list.

This place met all of mine and my guests needs. It was clean and spacious. Anna was there to greer us upon our arrival . Viviana our maid was amazing and very responsible to our needs. Absolutely outstanding hospitality from start to finish. Ana, the property manager, was incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. The staff went above and beyond to keep the home spotless, and the fresh breakfast each morning was beyond delicious and became a highlight of our days. We also felt very secure knowing our car was well looked after by onsite security. The home itself was stunning, and the kids especially loved spending time in the rooftop pool! From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. Ana, the property manager, was incredibly responsive and down to earth—she always checked in to make sure everything was perfect and that I had everything I needed. Kelly, the house staff, made fresh breakfast for us daily and kept the rooms spotless—like we had just arrived each day. Her attention to detail and warmth made us feel right at home. Albert, the security guard, went above and beyond to ensure we felt safe and secure, especially at night. He helped guide us to nightlife spots and even offered to escort us out to make sure we were comfortable. That level of service truly stood out. This was one of my best Airbnb experiences to date. Good place good location and amazing design. Comes with chef and daily cleaning / laundry which was a plus. It's pretty much a complex so you will have neighbors, adds to the experience. The chef was really really cool. Only issue was the bad plumbing. We had multiple issues there but I'm sure they got them fixed easily.

We enjoyed our stay at La Santísima! Well located on a safe and quieter street in close proximity to the local attractions. The staff was top notch and a special thanks to Kelly for her delicious cooking and pleasant company. We were a group of 6 and this was our first time in Cartagena. To begin with the communication from the hosts since the reservation was done has been very proactive and clear. They ensured all the necessary information was provided at all times from check in till check out. The house was beautiful and in the perfect location within walking distance to restaurants, cafes and was very safe. Breakfast was made fresh daily and the timing was flexible based on our requirements. The house also comes with security guard daily at night, so never there is a worry about safety. Amazing home in Cartagena. The location was perfect. Just a short walk to the historic center and great restaurants. The rooftop with pool was very nice. La Santisma us exactly what we wanted and more. The breakfast included daily is delicious, the staff is beyond friendly and attention detailed. They were more than accommodating. Kelli was so sweet and cooked us breakfast daily and cleaned our rooms daily and consistently always asked if we needed anything. The staff coordinated our yacht which was amazing, chef/bartender dinner, birthday decorations, food delivery to the Airbnb. Spectacular! 10/10 recommend. Walkable lots to do and always felt safe with Albert the security guard who is always available and goes above and beyond as well! Nothing to complain about! You must stay here! We will be back! We will return with our family to stay in the other part of the home with 6 rooms and a wonderful rooftop with bbq!

Really recommend!! From the manager Ana to the colleagues in the household, all are just so friendly and eager. Vivianna and her colleagues were always accommodating. Made us the juice we wanted for breakfast every day. They prepared excellent breakfast for us. We just felt like family. In the evening, Alberto, who also designed the whole property, was there to help us. If you are traveling to Cartagena as a family or large group, you should choose this place. 10* we award as a group of 6 to this place,

Our stay was absolutely amazing! The location was ideal, walking distance to major attractions. Check-in was seamless, and the cleanliness of the property good as everything was very new. Only caveat is since it's a big house, so we needed to time the showers otherwise the water pressure was low and there's limited hot water. However, the service was incredible and fully made up for it. There is a full team supporting guests and every member of the team went above and beyond to make our trip special. Breakfast was served daily either in the kitchen or on the roof, and the meals were beautiful. They also helped us reserve a private chef for dinners and organize a private boat day, which were unforgettable experiences. Highly recommend this Airbnb for a luxurious and stress-free getaway!

La Santisma is a wonderful place to share a vacation with a big family. We had a wonderful time in the pool and it was great accommodating 10 people. We had breakfast each morning, which was very good and the staff was super friendly and flexible. Being located in Getsemani, it is super close to the walled city and pretty much everything is walkable. We loved our stay for sure!

Best place ever. The theme of the house is almost like staying in a cave. Fantasy like home. Ana and her team were amazing. Very attentive, really great breakfast. The location is walking distance to everything. The town is small and there is live music and a lot of tourist at the corner.

I had a wonderful stay here! The location was perfect, right in the heart of the action with easy access to all the top tourist attractions. Every morning, we were treated to different delicious breakfast, and the host and maid were incredibly helpful. The zipper on my dress broke & the maid was able to fix it in less than 10 minutes! The service was top-notch, making it a truly memorable experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Cartagena! We hope to come back soon.

From the moment I arrived, the hosts went above and beyond to make my stay special, welcoming, and truly unforgettable. The accommodation itself was outstanding—new, impeccably clean, and extremely comfortable. The attention to detail was evident in every corner, making it feel like a home away from home. The ambiance of the house was simply perfect, with an amazing pool that added a touch of luxury and relaxation to my stay. What truly made this experience stand out was the hospitality. All the staff were friendly and accommodating, and I even had the pleasure of meeting the owners. Ms. Ana was an incredible host during our stay in Cartagena! The Airbnb was perfectly located in the heart of the city, surrounded by fantastic local restaurants and bars, making it easy to experience the vibrant atmosphere. Most of the clubs and most beautiful restaurants were just a short 10-minute walk away, which was super convenient. The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Ms. Ana was also very accommodating and responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed for an amazing stay. The staff made our experience even better—the cooks prepared delicious meals, the cleaners kept everything spotless, and Alberto, the security guard, was extremely helpful and kind. Our stay at LA SANTISIMA was unforgettable! The service provided by Mrs. Ana and Viviana was great. The house is spectacular, completely new, comfortable, well-designed and practical for a large group. The food was unparalleled, Cartagena is known for its restaurants but the food in the house was even better than some restaurants. The team helped us with all our activities, including New Year's Eve dinner. The pool is very comfortable, perfect for a hot day. The location of the house is perfect for going to the walled city in less than 10 minutes, and for exploring Getsemani. Although the area is noisy, we didn't hear any outside noise In conclusion, we had a great time on this vacation!! Thank you very much for all the support and service

It has been an incredible few days in LA SANTISIMA CARTAGENA the included breakfast and unbeatable cleaning service with exquisite service and attention from all your team. The house is a pass with its triple height ceiling and that rooftop uffff with jungle pool and chill out area! At the end of the year we were prepared an amazing barbecue at their gas roaster. Spacious rooms and the most comfortable beds where I've slept. We'll be back soon!
