Home updated, everything nice and new. High vaulted ceilings with floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room, overlooking a jungle area. Nice and private. Good outdoor space. Amazing shared pool with beautiful landscaping. Excellent location: walkable to restaurants and to the beach but tucked away on more quiet street (Calle Los Mangos). Most of the other houses in the complex are tucked away so you don't really see them. There is a house next door whose back porch area abuts yours and that is fine if the neighbors are quiet but slightly annoying if they are hanging out late on the porch chatting. Host friendly and communicative, immediately helpful with any questions/issues. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Nosara was fun, so much to see and do, and great food! It was super convenient to be able to walk to the beach and many restaurants. Amidst the jungle there’s bugs around every corner, and not being able to throw your trash away or flush your toilet tissue it’s hard to give five stars.

Thank you for the feedback. It sounds like you don't understand our septic in the jungle. We don't have a large system run by the government. Each home in the jungle has their own system. We try to do our best given the delicate environment and the systems available to us. I am sorry you found it inconvenient as well to not throw your food in the trash as it attracts insects. Again, we are in the jungle and take every precaution to ensure a clean environments for our homes and guests alike. We also don't like food scraps to end up in the landfill. It's very unfortunate you gave my business 4 starrs because we don't have the modern conveniences your used to. Interesting because this is the reason people come to Nosara.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Nosara! The place was very clean and comfortable. The pool was enjoyable and the well stocked kitchen allowed us to cook some meals. It was quiet but still close to restaurants and shops. Would stay there again!
The location is perfect and the pool is great my kids loved it! The beds were very comfortable we will definitely be back!

The place was very clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was convenient and made everything easy to access. Jodie and her stuff were excellent and friendly, responsive, and very attentive to anything we needed. Communication was smooth. Overall, a great experience. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay.
Jodie’s place was ideal for my family of (4)! Conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants/shops and the beach but far enough not to hear the noise or traffic. Pool was perfect as it’s shaded and elevated so there was a constant breeze. Would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay here! The jungle view and top floor balcony was great. Location very walkable to anything you need. Pool was a calm oasis! Apartment was uncluttered and felt new and no fuss. Had wha we needed. Felt it was worth what we paid compared to other expensive places. Would recommend!
Would definitely stay here again. Pool was really nice. Highly recommend renting a golf cart/ATV/bike in advance if you aren’t renting a car. Slept great. The place could use some extra blankets. Alarm system was easy to use.

We loved our stay at Casa Amor. This was our 3rd stay in Playa Guiones. We loved this place the best. It was private, safe and and close to all the stores, restaurants and beach. We rented bikes to get around. The pool was amazing after surfing in the morning. Gabby was great at answering any of my questions. We had a shuttle service drive us to get groceries at the Super Nosara. If we needed something quick like water or beer, we went to the local store in Guiones. We will definitely come back to stay here again. Pura Vida!!
The trip was my Christmas present to my 3 sons and there wives . The location was great just far enough away from downtown and the beach but close walk to everything beaches and restaurant's . the pool was great for us all to hangout and talk. We will definitely stay at Love's place if the boys and wives would like to go back to Costa Rica . oh and Love's assistant Gabby awesome she helped me navigate getting from the airport to the home and back to the airport which is no easy task its almost a 3 hour ride but so worth it . We all had a blast

This home is very clean and quiet. The pool is great. This is one of a number of homes in an area of Nosara that are within walking distance of all the restaurants, shops and the beach. It does back onto the alley but I prefer that as it’s quiet. We were late getting there and someone was waiting when we arrived to help us check in. Overall Nosara is very safe but theft is an issue sometimes so it’s great that this home has bars on the windows and double locks on the patio doors. Stayed here with my hubby and child and we were quite comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and there is an organic grocery store a 5 minute drive away or a larger grocery store about a 10 minute drive away. We will be staying here again next year or in one of the larger homes.

Very cute space, location is super walkable, however it's directly in the middle of a street with no businesses, just other places to stay, so wherever you go, you have to walk around first, but still extremely close to everything in town. Make sure you're happy to do dishes on vacation if you intend on using as there's no dishwasher, and you have to hand wash anything you used or get fined $75. If you're good with that, it's a wonderful place to stay!

Thank you for the compliments. I find it odd you left a 4 star review due to the location expressly described in the listing. All of our past guests love the location as it is a quiet residential street located in the heart of Guiones. With this unique location you get the convenience of walking to the beach, many businesses and restaurants while having peace and quiet away from the busy and sometimes noisy main roads. Also, many guests find it fun to walk around and explore the area. They never have expressed "they have to walk around". Maybe Nosara just is not the place for you. I would recommend thinking again about writing less than a 5 star review for a persons business because you had to walk. Pura Vida!
