We loved our stay at The Orchid. The location is lovely, right between West End and West Bay. The beach is right down the road and the dive center there is fantastic. It was super easy to get a water taxi at the pier but I would still recommend having your own vehicle. The house itself is absolutely beautiful and has everything you need for a fabulous vacation.

The Orchid is perfection! The host thought of everything to make the stay enjoyable and easy to settle in. The location is great if you want to have a little more peace and quiet than the hustle and bustle in West End and West Bay yet still close enough to walk to either. I’d say 20 minutes if you are taking your time. It’s a 5 minute drive or a 5 minute boat taxi which you can wave down from the dock just down the hill. Several good restaurants nearby too. The layout of the house is perfect with a spacious gathering area, well equipped kitchen and multiple decks with hammocks, swings etc. if you want some alone time. The pool is a bonus and a super nice pool guy comes to clean it several days a week. My favorite thing about the house is the ability to open it up in the morning or evenings and let the breeze blow through. The multiple screen doors to the outdoor decks and window placement make it pleasant inside without the AC. It has a bit of a tree house vibe. Loved it!

Amazing home with a spectacular view. Has everything you need for a wonderful stay! We rented a car to get around the island and shop for groceries and it was perfect!

This Airbnb was a an AMAZING choice for our first time staying in Roatan! We had amazing views and the pool was a great addition!!! We had everything we needed which made our stay so comfortable, We didn’t even have to leave to buy any essentials because Lana’s place was fully stocked with everything you can think of! And on top of all of that, it’s a 5 minute walk away from the water taxi’s to get to the best beach on Roatan!! I highly recommend booking this stay!!

This is a great peaceful place for anyone looking to avoid the crowds and noise of west end and west bay. The house is one of the most well stocked houses I’ve ever stayed in and will have all your beach and kitchen needs. Enjoying all the outdoor seating and lounging by the pool is a must!

Our stay at the Orchid house was fantastic. Lana was extremely responsive - from the booking to helping us find excursions throughout our stay. The house was beautiful and just as described. She had everything (and more!) stocked in the kitchen and throughout. Very clean throughout. The pool was always cleaned often throughout our stay. The dive shop was right down the trail to the beach, which was very convenient as well. We highly recommend the Orchid house! We would love to return!!

The host was exceptionally helpful and attentive, addressing any concerns we had with kindness and care. Meeting her was a joy, as she genuinely made our stay more pleasant and comfortable. Additionally, the warm-hearted locals we encountered on the island added to the charm of our experience. Their kindness made our time there even more memorable. Overall, if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with the option to connect with the community, this place is perfect. I highly recommend it!

The Orchid was fantastic! We stayed with our 2 toddlers who loved the Pool and the open plan of the House. The area was quiet and only a few minutes walk to the Beach, were there were numerous Hotels and restaurants in walking distance. All listed amenities were present including a few unlisted, that were very helpful until we were able to make it to the Supermarket. Lana was very responsive to my messages before and during our stay. Highly recommend.

The Orchid was as pictured and very clean, it included everything you needed to feel at home. We cooked most meals in & the kitchen was well stocked. The serene pool is fully shaded & quite chilly . The beach is down a relatively steep hill about a 6 minute walk from the house with loose gravel and moss - make sure you have robust sandals. The house was conveniently located between West End & West Bay. We were glad to have a rental car to get to West End, but relied on water taxis for West Bay. We would stay here again!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The accommodation was spotless, well equipped and quiet. It was convenient to the beach and water taxis. Filtered water was provided. The outdoor areas were quite nice. The host was very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this Airbnb.

The Orchid is the perfect home away from home. I recently stayed there with my two kids (6 and 8) and we had the best time. Lana was super kind, responsive and helpful. She introduced us to Vikky who helped us plan what we wanted to do. The house is equipped with everything you could ever need. No need to pack towels. Dry bags, flashlights etc. it’s all there. The location is perfect if you want to get away from the busy West Bay, but still be close. We easily flagged down water taxis from the beach too get there. The walk to the beach took about 5 minutes and I do wish we had brought hiking sneakers as the footing was a bit slippery with loose rocks. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. We walked home from sunset in the dark most nights and I felt comfortable. When we wanted to explore outside of the neighborhood we had Vikky drive us. She always had the perfect recommendations for fun activities, quiet beaches etc. My son “Mom how do we rate The Orchid higher than 5?”

A perfect location between West End and West Bay. Walkable to both if you are up for it-a little over a mile. The house is incredibly peaceful and comfortable with hummingbirds buzzing around in the morning. It has absolutely everything you could possibly need for staying in or heading out to the beach. Lana thought of everything! She welcomed my family with the warmest hug and walked us through the house and offered all kinds of ideas for things to do on the island. If you need anything, she knows someone that can help! Thanks to Lana, we were able to rent a car and explore the island on our own. She also has great recommendations for tours-even though weather made us change our plans. She checked in throughout our stay. There are several hotels located nearby for a meal out. We really can’t say enough about Lana’s place. It was the perfect vacation for our family of 4-including two teen boys.

We absolutely had an amazing time in Roatán. Lana’s place was amazing. Advertised exactly like the photos, and had more than enough of everything and even the stuff that we wish we had brought. Lana was responsive and even offered to provide transportation to and from the airport. It was an easy walk to the beach and water taxi and a quick drive to West End restaurants (also easy to reach by water taxi). The pool was private and relaxing and shaded during the afternoon. The neighborhood around was peaceful. Best vacation!!!

This home was perfect for our family of 5 adults. It has very comfortable beds and is very well stocked. The location is stunning, with a view of the jungle and beach from the decks and pool. The hummingbirds were plentiful, and we even saw a pair of Macaws flying over. Great location between West Bay and West End so we found having a car to be useful. Lana was very responsive and helped with anything we needed.the fruit and coffee she left use were so appreciated!

Thank you so much. This was a wonderful place for 3 couples to vacation together. Each space had its own bathroom with master bed. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking full meals. The view was so beautiful off the deck and pool! Loved the place and would stay again and recommend to others!

This home was all we hoped for & more! A beautiful setting in the woods, feels private but close enough to walk to the beach. We walked to Dana's most mornings for excellent baleadas. We walked to West Bay to snorkel and explore the beach & restaurants. We enjoyed a great dinner at Ibigari's one evening. The home was exactly as described, and just as it looks in the pictures. The host was kind & helpful. The pool was cleaned several times during the week. We felt safe in the neighborhood. We would definitely enjoy staying in this home again!

The perfect piece of paradise in Roatan for a family! The location is ideal, easy to navigate to west bay, the beach, and clear water diving center within a 3 min walk. The boat bar is also close by within walking distance. Beautiful pool and house to relax in. Safe environment, helpful staff to make this such a Luxurious stay. Highly highly highly recommend!

What wonderful week long stay at the Orchid! The home had everything we needed, a lot of thought has been put into making it a great experience for their guests. Lana was great, excellent communication and made check in very welcoming. Location of the home was great for us, central between West End and West Bay. We walked everywhere, with an occasional water taxi which are easy to flag down from the pier at the beach just down from house. Weather did not always cooperate with us, but the home has so many great covered outdoor spaces we could still relax and enjoy the fresh air. Thank you!

The Orchid was integral to our successful visit to Roatan - it is the perfect oasis between activities, and the most peaceful, restful respite. We are minimalist packers/travelers, and literally ANYTHING you could think of that you might need or had forgotten (though we tried to think of everything) has already been provided by the Orchid…and then some! Lana was highly responsive when needed, but also respectful of our privacy. The fresh fruit awaiting us on the porch when we returned from a day of activities was a pleasant surprise! We live aboard a 42 foot sailboat on an island, so we were particularly interested in being in the jungle in the trees (for a change) and the location did not disappoint. The house is quite purposefully built within the surrounding canopy. We literally sat on the sofa in the living room and watched iguanas and macaws in the trees outside. The private pool was a huge bonus, and we used it daily. Short walk to the beach and nearby restaurants. 10/10!!!

What a beautiful place to stay - we loved our time here. The home itself is beautiful inside and out and we especially loved the trees that surrounded the property. The home was stocked with everything we needed and so much more to make it even more convenient. Our kids loved the pool and playing the provided games together as a family in the evening. We walked to the local beach or drove to a nearby beach every day. Beds were comfortable. We cooked most of our meals and the kitchen was stocked with every tool we needed. Lana always responded quickly and was both friendly and helpful. Every person we met on the island was kind and our kids often commented on how everyone was smiling. Wonderful views and well kept home. We had a great time here. The expansive deck and pool were fantastic although the pool is on the small side. Lana was a great host. There is a small unit underneath the home that is occupied. We were not expecting this, but aside from the first night we really didn’t notice them at all.

This home is absolutely gorgeous and one of the most aesthetically pleasing listings on the island. Every detail of the decor was carefully thought out - very spacious with many areas to relax and enjoy, whether inside or outside. The bedding was extremely comfortable, water pressure was great, and everything was pristinely clean. The beach is a 5 minute walk away and feels like a private experience while also near several beachfront restaurants, and about a 15 minute pleasant, coastal walk to West Bay. Leslie was communicative, kind, and understanding and overall we had a fantastic experience - highly recommend this home!

Absolutely the best Airbnb we have ever experienced! From the moment we were greeted with help with our luggage and helping us put groceries away to the beautiful accommodations! The kitchen felt like home with everything you need to cook meals while you're there! The decor was lovely and the beds were so comfy! So many places to sit and relax and take in the views after a long day of activities! Lana and the owners were very responsive to our requests and questions! There is nothing unthought of-- if you find yourself needing something, they've already thought of it and made sure it was stocked! I cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience was! I feel like we have made a friend in Lana for a lifetime! So many owners or property owners could learn a few things from this Airbnb! They value your experience and make things effortless!

Beautiful Airbnb and lovely host. We also loved the location, very calm and close to the beach!

Couldn't have been better! Lana greeted us like family (with hugs all around). Her brother, Jerilee picked us up from the airport (with a stop for groceries for the week) and was available to drive us wherever we wanted to go during our stay. The Orchid was amazing - beautifully built among the trees and very comfortably furnished. Met our every need. The beach was only a short walk down the hill. Loved it and the warm aquamarine water. We watched the Super Bowl (Go KC Chiefs!) at the Boat Bar on the beach. Loved their food and their hospitality. We golfed at the 9-hole course in West Bay and at the Black Pearl. Both were great fun. Caught the water taxi to West End for breakfast and some shopping. There was plenty of information as to places to eat and things to do and Lana was readily available to help us with whatever we needed. We were very well taken care of. Had a great time. And are already making plans to return some time soon.

This house is amazing!! The pictures don’t do it justice! Extremely clean and has all the necessities you’ll need for your stay. Both Leslie and Lana made us feel right at home and it truly did feel like home for the 2 months we lived there. The location is perfect if you want to stay in a quiet neighborhood between West End and West Bay. It’s only a 3-5 min walk to the beach where you’ll get to witness some of the most beautiful sunsets ever! I highly recommend staying here and we can’t wait to come back! 😊

My family and I had an amazing time at Lana’s house. The house is brand new and súper clean And have everything we needed it. Car is needed if people want to go and explore around. The only thing that made me nervous was the infinity pool but only because we kids. Other than that it is very safe for adults. For lids too but they need constantly supervision. We will stay there again!!!

From the moment we arrived we felt like we were home. Lana was an amazing host. When we arrived at the house she was there to greet us. She had fresh fruit arranged for us and went over everything we needed to know about our stay. She was always available anytime that we needed anything. The house was spectacular and exceeded all of our expectations. It had every amenity you could possibly need. The view from the pool was amazing. We didn’t want to leave. It was also close to everything. If you get a chance to stay here I highly recommend it. You can’t go wrong. We were in Roatan for 9 days and stayed there our first four days and stayed at another house for the rest of our stay. I can safely say there was no comparison. Thank you Lana for your amazing hospitality!!!!

I don’t know where to start! This place was incredible, it looks exactly like the photos if not better. I saw someone describe it as a luxury tree house and that is exactly correct. Lana is friendly, very responsive and helpful, the surroundings are stunning and the place is pristine. I will absolutely stay here again when I visit Roatan again. Can’t recommend it enough, absolutely beautiful.

Let me begin with how amazing it is to overlook the ocean and see the sunsets from the deck inside the pool. The place felt like home and had enough amenities for our family and kids. This is a must stay home for your family vacation in Roatan, I highly recommend it and Lana was an amazing host always available to any of our questions. All our activities were very close to our rental. Thank you so much Lana for your amazing hospitality =) We cannot wait to go back and experience this again.

Lana and Margarita were both amazing from the very beginning; answering all our questions and very responsive. This place is impeccable. We not only felt right at home but also a bit spoiled. :) easy walk to the beach with so many things close by. Hosts were super responsive and attentive. It couldn't have gone better. This is a beautiful home in the trees. Very relaxing and quiet. We spent a lot of time in the hammocks and hanging bed. The kitchen had everything we needed. They only have salt and pepper so bring everything else. The hill isn't bad and it is a real 4 min walk to the beach and there are beach chairs at the Boat Bar right there. They are great!!! There are a few other places to eat within a 5-6 min walk. But realistically you are walking or taking boat taxi to West bay. It is a 20 min walk from the door to the very edge of west bay and another 10-12 min to get to the snorkeling at the end. You really need to take a boat taxi to West End. It is 5$/person either direction so they don't give you a deal that you are halfway between. They do night boat taxi now no prob. The snorkeling at West end wasn't worth it. The dive shop at the bottem of the hill will give you a tag along - if they have space on a scuba dive - they will bring you for 10$/person to where they are going.

This house is very much worth it. The pictures already look so good but in person the house looks even better, I loved everything about this house, it had everything I needed. I’ve been to Roatan before so I only went to the west Bay Area which you do need transportation but it’s about 5-10 minutes away very close, you can also walk down the street and there’s more of a calm private beach space and it is walking distance. If you’re looking for a home with a beautiful view and perfect space with everything little thing you can think of that you need this would most definitely be recommended 10/10 ❤️.

A dream home and vacation! We were greeted by Lana upon arrival. She had some fruit and wine waiting for us after a long trip. We stayed during Christmas week and they even had a beautifully decorated Christmas tree! The home was very clean and spacious. The windows were stunning, and it felt like we were staying in a luxury tree house. On the main floor there is a large and open kitchen, a table for eating and bar stools at the kitchen island. The living area was very comfortable and opened to a wraparound terrace with a hammock and table/chairs. There is a beautifully decorated bedroom, windowed bathroom and gorgeous shower. Upstairs there is a den with terrace, bedroom with terrace and another full bathroom. The terrace has a hanging bed which we loved! Location is ideal, right in between west end and west bay. It’s a quick walk down to some restaurants on the beach. Overall I would highly recommend a stay at the home. Lana is a wonderful and responsive host!
