5BR Villa in Nuevo Vallarta

Excellent, 2 months ago

what an incredible place to spend a few days. can't say enough good things about the place. highly recommend you stay here.

Unfortunately this will be my first Airbnb review without 5 stars & I’ve stayed at a good amount. I want to start off by saying Juan was super friendly & responsive. It was 13 girls on this trip & while we did think the Airbnb was beautiful with beautiful views we didn’t feel the safest. Unfortunately, while we were out we were robbed of cash. 3 girls out of the group got money stolen. Juan was very kind about it & helped us with anything we needed. On our last night we also heard people walking around the house around midnight. It sounded like people were running on the stairs and closing doors. My little sister was in the restroom & she heard someone knocking on the window. We were really scared but the noises stopped after a bit. Still really scary because it definitely was not our group. The Airbnb seems easy to get into which doesn’t feel very safe for a group of only girls. We had fun but also were happy to leave… we didn’t want to stay much longer after so many things happened.

A group of 6 of us had a great stay at El Mirador. We rented out the whole house, and Juan helped us make arrangements to rent side-by-sides to get around town, surf lessons, airport transportation, chef services, and also helped get us groceries for our arrival. The house itself is even nicer than the pictures. Extremely private, with 3 separate apartments. Would be a great house for multiple families as there are 2, 2-bedroom, 2 bathroom units upstairs with 3 beds in each unit, and a 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom unit downstairs with a separate living room that has a fold out couch. All the units have full kitchens as well. There was also a full time housekeeping staff onsite. The drive down the hill to town was ~3-4 minutes and easily done on the side-by-sides, although it's pretty tempting to sit poolside all day. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and private villa in Sayulita.

This villa is perfect for multiple families or large groups. We were a group of 7 women and it worked out perfectly. Juan, the property manager, is absolutely wonderful. He was very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and activities leading up to our trip, helped us book a chef, and assisted us while we were there. We rented 2x ATVs from the owner which is a must for this property to go anywhere. It's very easy to get into town, beaches, and even neighboring towns. The rooms are clean, equipped with AC, linens are provided, beach/pool towels are provided, we used the beach chairs one day, and even got some pickleball in! Thank you so much for hosting our group.

David and Juan were fantastic! Juan helped us with a side by side rental, find a chef who prepared two delicious meals that were out of this world! Juan also set up taxi services for us, which was a great help. If you’re looking for a place at the top of the world in Sayulita, this is the place to go. The pickleball court was one reason we were drawn to el Mirador and it was great! We played twice a day. Very convenient and well set up. 10/10 will be staying here again.

We had a fantastic time at Mary and Dave’s incredible property, with Juan as an exceptionally helpful co-host! Juan was proactive in providing detailed information about the property and local attractions. He even helped us arrange a private chef for one of our nights, which made our stay feel truly luxurious. During our stay, he quickly responded to any questions and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. The home was very clean and had everything we needed, with stunning views of Sayulita. Highly recommend, and we’d love to come back! Thank you Mary, Dave, and Juan!

The Mirador house has spectacular views, the place is much better than what you see in photos, all the amenities of the house are ideal for family enjoyment, a plus that each house has its own equipped kitchen and terraces to see the landscape, the hill to reach the house is somewhat complicated, the saltwater pool is an idea for the children, while the adults relax in the jacuzzi. The cleaning lady was always very kind and cleaned the casitas daily, Juan was always aware of any questions and recommended activities, the kitchen with dining room in the palapa was the meeting point for everyone, it was much more than we expected, the super comfortable beds and every room has air conditioning, the bathrooms in the pool area ideal for not being climbing to the rooms. Thank you very much for everything Mary & David's house is perfect

Wonderful home for a group. Photos don’t do it justice. Basically 2, 2 bedroom casitas on one level (Units similar) Then a master 1 bedroom down one level and the common space with outdoor kitchen and awesome pool with jumping platform from hot tub. We sadly, didn’t even use the pickleball court. My husband and 2 kids ages 3 and 6 were very comfortable in our casita and the rest of the family was well suited in the other areas. It was nice to have some privacy, especially with younger kids. The beds and linens are comfortable and better than most rentals I’ve stayed in. The house manager, Juan, was Incredibly nice and welcoming. We’ve been to sayilita but the first time we had kids in tow and it was nice to have a local source for questions. We arranged for chef prepared breakfast and dinners most days with Erik, very talented. Best tamales I’ve ever had! And the tres leches… We will return! Thank you!!

We loved the facility. Lots of space/rooms/bathrooms/common area for group of 8. Beautiful pool area. Peaceful setting away from the busy town. VERY steep drive up to the house. Okay for walking down but too difficult to walk up particularly at night in the dark. Had to rent atv which Juan arranged for us right away and for a reasonable price. Juan was fantastic - arranging airport transportation, finding atv, taking us to town to meet a tour guide, scheduling a chef for three nights and checking in every day. His dog is so sweet! We also enjoyed the house cat. David, the owner, made a point to come greet us and offer recommendations. Had fun playing pickle ball on the lower level court. If you are looking for a great house for separate families that want to share a common area - this is the place for you.

Who: 2 families (4 adults/6 children) When: Dec. 29, 2022-Jan. 3rd 2023 What: The price was a great value, house was bigger than expected. It is split into 3 units within the same building. The two side by side units are 2 BR/2 bath each. Each unit had its own kitchen, living room and patio. The 3rd unit below is a 1 BR with full kitchen and living room. This setup gives privacy to each family but the common areas like the patios, the pool/hottub, the cabana, the poolside kitchen, the sports court are great areas to come together. Where: This house sits atop a hill that gives incredible views. It's far enough away from town for peace but close enough to golf cart down. Tips: Rent a golf cart. Even if you enjoy walking/hiking everyday, its a trek down and uphill and if you are getting groceries you do not want to walk up carrying them. Juan, the onsite manager was awesome, speaks fluent english and is a great resource. Lina helped prior to our stay. Thank you Juan and Lina

We just returned from a family vacation to Sayulita, Mexico. We had 11 people and Mary and David's house was perfect for this! We got to split up into 3 different casitas which meant we had our own space for sleeping, relaxing, and even eating if we wanted. We were surprised that each casita had its own kitchen! It was amazing. The decor was beautiful! The views from the house are breathtaking! The pool area with the loungers, outdoor shower, bathrooms, and changing room was great. Going into town was a lot of fun and we loved making trips down to check out the shops and restaurants. We also found a section of the beach where it was much quieter than the main beach in town. We loved it. I'm not sure what the name of it is but it's right by the El Camion food truck (Address: North Side, Av. del Palmar 83). We hated having to go home and we can't wait to return.
