Huge bummer the place was absolutely gorgeous but we only spent 1 night there. We booked 6 nights but it was unlivable due to construction underneath. The bridge and steps were unfinished when we arrived, host knew we were arriving early and made us feel bad because we came early even though she was aware and had said it was okay. The door lock did not work and it took 2 hours for maintenance to fix it. There were construction workers surrounding the apartment and urinating visibly through our windows. We loved the airbnb and not sure the lack of communication that made this the outcome but the listing should’ve been blocked off for the dates we booked. They moved us to another Airbnb which was fine but soured our overall stay.

That said, we were genuinely surprised to read your review, as we did everything within our power to make your stay as comfortable as possible. You requested an early check-in, and we were happy to accommodate it. The house was fully prepared and ready for your arrival. The only work still in progress was the drying of fresh paint on the outdoor stairs, which was part of scheduled maintenance managed by the condominium, not by us. As our standard check-in time is 3:00 PM, the work was completed in time for your scheduled arrival. Regarding the renovation work in the apartment below, we would like to clarify that the property is owned by a different owner, and the works unexpectedly became much more disruptive shortly before your arrival. As soon as we realized that the noise could negatively affect your holiday, we immediately offered you three different solutions: • a 20% discount on your stay (in addition to the promotional rate already applied), • a full cancellation with a complete refund, • or a complimentary upgrade to a luxury villa with 4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, a private pool, and a gym. You chose the villa upgrade, and we arranged everything as quickly as possible to minimize the inconvenience. For this reason, we were especially disappointed to read that your overall experience was negatively affected, as we genuinely tried to be as flexible and accommodating as possible throughout the situation. We sincerely thank you for choosing to stay with us, and we hope that, should you decide to visit again in the future, we will have the opportunity to provide you with the seamless experience we always strive to deliver.

This home is absolutely beautiful: high in the tree tops, monkeys and iguanas right outside the windows, nice balcony with ocean view, modern furnishings and very clean. It is located in a gated community in the heart of Santa Teresa. To get there, you have to drive up a steep mountain, which was a little scary the first time, but ok. The only problem was the construction outside… I mean right outside the door. Men were working with drills and other loud equipment from sun-up until sun-down every day but Sunday. In particular, they were working on the steps that lead to the front door of this home. Some days, there would be a few steps missing, and we had to step over that area to get to the front door. On a steep mountain, this was a little unnerving. There was no caution tape or anything, no warning. I would give this home 5 stars all around if we had been warned of the construction.

We stayed as a family of six and had a very peaceful experience at Fabio’s place. It fully met our expectations, and Fabio was an exceptionally flexible and accommodating host. Highly recommend!

This house was something very special and unique for me and my friends. Beautiful location, great animals in the neighborhood and the decor is so full of character and stylish. It makes you feel right at home. Thank you so much for letting us be your guests ♥️

Best Airbnb experience in the most incredible location. Came here for a week for my birthday with two friends and it was the perfect setting. The team is so responsive and proactive, we appreciated all of their help. Will be back 10000%

The house is prettier than it looks in the photos. The view is incredible. The only thing is that it is not suitable for people with reduced mobility (slopes and stairs to get there). It's really very nice

This place is truly idyllic. I honestly didn’t want to leave. The surroundings and decor were simply unique and stunning. We were a family of 4 (2 daughters aged 11 & 14) and we all adored the place. The outside space is divine. I’ll never forget it . A dishwasher, washing machine / dryer would have been a plus if you’re planning to stay for a longer trip.

This place in Santa Teresa is simply amazing. The view is absolutely breathtaking — especially the sunsets, which are just incredible from up here. Everything was super clean and in perfect condition. The apartment was cleaned on the third day, and even the compost was emptied. We honestly have nothing negative to say. We were truly very, very happy with our stay and can wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation. A definite highlight of our trip!

Really amazing place, with great support and amazing views. I could sit on the terrace all morning with a coffee and listen to nature with the incredible view. I felt very much at home there.

It's a beautiful apartment. Decorado with beautiful paintings and different pieces of art, made by the owners, which make it very nice to arrive every time, and makes the climb, a little steep is true, is justified. We'll definitely be back.

Absolutely breathtaking view of the Pacific from a unique home filled with modern, intriguing art pieces. The space is spacious, private, and has the vibe of a modern art museum with a cool, funky twist. Be prepared for about 100 steps to reach the home, but honestly, the view makes it totally worthwhile. There are quite a few house rules, like no shoes inside, no parties or loud music, and no taking towels to the beach. While a bit unexpected for the price, it makes sense considering the gallery-like feel of the place. Overall, I’d definitely stay here again. Just good to be aware of what’s included and what’s not to make the most of the experience.

I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience with the parking. Normally, guests park in the upper spot, which is very easy to access with just a few stairs. Unfortunately, the upper parking area is temporarily closed for renovations, which is why you had to park downstairs. We expect to have it ready again by mid-December. The price was reduced as a result of this situation, so we hope it helped make up for the inconvenience. For the towels, I believe there was a small misunderstanding. The white towels are not meant to be taken to the beach, but the colored towels are perfectly fine for the beach and pool. I’m really sorry for any confusion on this. Regarding the shoes, in Santa Teresa it’s quite common to walk barefoot, so we kindly ask guests to remove their shoes when entering the house. However, it’s not a big problem if someone prefers to keep their shoes on—it's completely up to you! Concerning loud music, as Nido del Mar is located in a gated community, we kindly ask guests to be respectful of the neighbors. We ask that music be played at a reasonable volume to ensure a peaceful atmosphere for everyone. I hope you made it home safely, and we’d be delighted to host you again soon!
