Wonderful stay at beautiful house. Great for families or large groups. We recommend asking for the pool to be heated up in advance since it takes a while otherwise!

The house is larger, more beautiful and more comfortable than even the pictures indicate. All of the rooms and living spaces are very comfortable and the kitchen/dining room/living area is amazing. This property exceeded any expectations we had and is truly one of a kind. Great area, wonderful hosts, cannot recommend highly enough.

Host was great, place was great... it's an oasis. We've rented twice now (different houses) from this host and I would highly recommend them. I have two houses we rent out in Maine in the US so we're very aware of the process and the rental's fit and fixtures, etc. this house is pretty A+.

The house was perfect for our group. The beds are super comfortable with good sheets and towels. The house is new and in a great location, walking distance from several restaurants downtown. One block away there is a great bakery with good coffee and bread— it's called Soco. We asked Andrea for the extra breakfast service and Mary was super friendly in preparing breakfast for our group. The air conditioning works perfectly and the bathrooms are new and comfortable. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at this home in Mérida! The host (Andy) was very communicative and provided clear, helpful instructions before and during our stay, which made everything smooth and stress-free. The house itself was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed. Each room was spotless and stocked with plenty of towels, and the kitchen was fully equipped for cooking and dining in. One of our favorite features was the swimming pool — perfect for cooling off after exploring the city in the heat. The location was ideal: the neighborhood felt very safe and was incredibly walkable, with tons of great restaurants, bars, and shops just a short stroll away. We would stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mérida!

Most beautiful Airbnb ever!!! We stayed here with my family the week of our wedding and it was so lovely! The space is huge and gorgeous and so bright. I got pictures getting ready here, and it looks like something out of a magazine. Host was so helpful and quick to respond and help answer any questions/requests. It was PERFECT!!! Great for families and friends, we’ll be back again for sure.. the kitchens space is so large and it allows for family to gather and cook together whole other lounge nearby. And the pool area was fantastic too. 10/10!!

The house is beautiful, it has everything, we were happy, the only issue was that the pool was not working 100% due to a malfunction in a pipe, but everything else was great. We would definitely stay at this house again.

The house was beautiful and we are glad we booked here. The location was perfect--so close to everything, and we walked everywhere with our children. At the same time, the location felt peaceful, and once inside the house, the setting was truly tranquil. The design of the home is lovely and everything was clean. Parents with young children should know that the master bedroom is separate from the other bedrooms, which are upstairs, or on the other side of the home. We didn't feel comfortable having our kids in a separate space considering the pool, so we all shared the master suite. The master suite does have a large sectional, so kids could sleep there. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Amazing long weekend, beautiful house!

The pictures do not do Vania's home any justice!!! Her home is stunning! With a fully stocked kitchen, zen courtyard complete with pool and peaceful common area... we found it hard to tear ourselves away and venture outdoors. The location is perfect- close to shopping, bars and restaurants. Vania is also very responsive and friendly! We will definitely be back.

Vania’s place is gorgeous! The pictures don’t do it justice. We were a group of 6 women visiting Mérida on a bachelorette trip. The house was perfect for our group. It is huge (3 separate parts of the property), so people could have their own private time. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms stayed cool (despite the oppressive heat wave the entire time). The pool was clean and cool (which was needed to get relief from the 110 degree F temps). The kitchen was well-stocked and perfect for the private chef we brought in one night. The location is incredible! Tons of bars, restaurants, and shopping within a few blocks. The area felt completely safe and the people were so nice. It was too hot to do much outside the city, but we did visit the cenotes one day, which were amazing. The host was wonderful about providing local recommendations for restaurants, cenotes, a private chef, and masseuses. She was responsive with all questions during the stay. Highly recommended this place!

A beautiful house to relax and shelter from the heat, just right in the heart of the center.

This house was perfect for the 7 of us. We did not use one of the rooms. The place has both communal and private areas for people to enjoy. The pool was fantastic! Note: For information regarding places to eat and visit, use the host's links from Airbnb because the house does not (at least as of March 2024) have a folder of information about the area. However, just walking around Merida works, too. What a great city! The house is better than the pictures if you can believe that.

Casa 500 is a beautiful home in a great location and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering a trip to Merida!

Beautiful house, clean, safe area.

Ten glorious days in this home spoiled us! Vania saved us from a beach vacay gone bad and we loved our time in Merida. The house is architecturally stunning with beautiful interiors and every detail well thought out. Comfy beds, gorgeous baths, lots of storage, wonderful gathering spaces inside and out, a well-equipped kitchen and of course, a lovely pool. The location is perfect for exploring the city---and the pool was our respite after hot days spent doing just that. Great restaurants and shops are a short walk away and if needed, taxis and Ubers are plentiful and inexpensive. In the house, screens everywhere meant we could have fresh air, and great fans and A/C were there when we needed them. Andy was our go-to person for any questions and she always responded quickly and positively. This home is great for family groups, would also work beautifully for 4 couples. It was our first time visiting this part of Mexico but it won't be our last--and when we return it will be to Casa 500!
