Curt and Victoria were the perfect hosts right from the get go. The communication was proactive, the hints and tips on what to do locally was excellent and the whole experience from when we arrived to when we left was incredible. Their house was unbelievably nice and you could see a lot of attention had been taken to every detail . We found out that much of the decor and decorations for the house was done by local crafts people. We would love a holiday home just like one! The location was well located near a beach and a short walk to all the nice restaurants and amenities in and around Punta Mita and not too far from Puerta Vallarta, the nearest big town which also has an incredible stretch of beach. If you enjoy surfing this is a great location! A houskeeper came every day to tidy up the house and we also had Patty cook for us on two of the evenings. The food was simply amazing and also Patty was so nice. If you have young kids, you should ask Patty to do a Piñata making class f

Highly recommend Curt & Victoria’s home. It’s beautiful, spacious and very well cared for. Everyone was incredibly responsive and helpful. The roof deck is a dream. We didn’t rent a car it was very easy to get around on foot with kids. So happy we chose this home for our Punta Mita vacation. Thank you!

The home is lovely. A perfect set up for a larger family, or even multiple. The well appointed kitchen was helpful for breakfasts/snacks/morning coffee. You could make every meal at home, if you chose. We wanted to try local restaurants. The pool sits just outside the glass doors and we used that when we needed a break from the beach. The house is spacious and well maintained. We loved the fact that everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. Plus, there is a 1/2 bath off the sitting area on the main floor. The house has A/C. Was needed at times during our stay. The beach access is just a couple of blocks away which is very convenient. Curt and Victoria have provided all the beach "toys" you could want - boogie boards, SUP boards, beach chairs and towels etc. The surf was perfect for our more novice surfers. We live in the mountains :) We took the review suggestions and had Paty and her son Antonio cook for us on the first night, Sunday. We didn't realize how smart that was given most places are closed Sunday evenings. They did an amazing job, food was delicious. We ate that night, and frequently on the beautiful roof top deck. Paty made so much food, we ate lunch the next day from the leftovers! I highly recommend asking Paty if she's available for your stay. Restaurant row is a bit of a walk (in 90 degree heat), so we should've probably rented a golf cart, however they are really expensive ($106/day). Just something to consider. Bring sneakers! The town is sweet, the locals are so friendly. Four nights was perfect for us. I think if you stay longer, you may want to consider visiting some of the other towns like Sayulita or San Pancho. Since we'd been to both before, we decided to just stick close to "home" this trip. We hired Manny's Tours to take us to the islands for a few hours, we snorkeled and checked out the birds. Jose was our guide, we highly recommend him! It's been said before, but this home is not in the gated parts of Punta Mita. Do your research. We found it to be perfect for us. We aren't golfers and wanted more of a local feel. If you are considering Punta Mita - this should be your choice.

Curt and Victoria's house packs a huge value for a small price if you have a group. Definitely check out Teresa's Tacos - their Agua fresca was the best I've had. Casa Del Pintor right around the corner was also excellent! Easy stroll down to the beach or to the fancier area of Punta Mita. this location was quiet and very private with a huge rooftop patio and private pool.

This is a lovely home: comfortable, artistic, well-designed. It was perfect for our family and provided a wonderful experience for us. The staff Curt and Victoria use were all warm and lovely people.

This home is amazing in every way. We will definitely be back. Much larger than pictures even show and so close to the beach and many restaurants. For sure get Paty to cool you at least one meal, her food is incredible. Curt and Victoria were such great hosts.

This house is incredible and has everything you need to enjoy your stay in Punta de Mita. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Cristal del Mar is nothing short of amazing! Was my first time in Punta De Mita and it was a welcome change of pace from the insanity that is Sayulita. The house was clean, spacious, perfectly located 2 min walking from the beach and 10 min walking from restaurants. We also went into the Four Seasons for dinner one night which was only a 5 min drive. Curt and Victoria were very accomodating, having Pati (chef) and Candy (cleaner) there every day made it even more awesome. Highly recommend!! One side note on Punta de Mita is don't expect a fully built up city like PV or Sayulita. It's a very small town with only a few restaurants, no bars, most places close at 11, and when you first get into the city it feels a bit unsafe (roads are terrible). I did feel very safe walking around but not a whole lot to see.

This place is the best in Punta de Mita. It is a piece of paradise! Don’t think twice about it - book it!!!

Beautiful home, wonderful rooftop, excellent location!

Wow. Wow! WoW!!! - We has the best family vacation in Punta Mita. Our stay at Casa Cristal was phenomenal. The house is in a perfect location. Everything you need is right around a corner or just a couple blocks away. Everyone in town was super friendly and we felt at home the whole time we were there. We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and the outdoor shower upon return. The garage is full of adventure equipment that we put to good use. The house is spacious and was perfect for the five of us. Way more than enough space! The pool is a nice place to cool off and the rooftop was our main hang out location day and night. Grabbing Teresa’s Tacos, right around the corner, and eating on the rooftop was only bested by having Paty make dinner for us at the house. Her food was our favorite in all of Mexico. Roman was always available and took care of every question or need right away. And, Candy took amazing care if is and the house each day. She is amazing. I doubt they would with it but, I think Curt and Victoria should sell us the house so we can spend the winters there every year. Both of our girls (9 & 18) are ready to spend all of our vacations here from now on.

Victoria and Curt have a fabulous house. It's large, beautifully decorated and relaxing. The bedrooms and the bathrooms are huge and the beds very comfortable. There is a large kitchen with all the appliances and cooking utensils you need. The sitting area on the second floor is a perfect space to gather. The rooftop is gorgeous with a kitchen, dining table, seating area, hammocks, day bed and lounge chairs. Every amenity we needed for our trip was in the house. The house is extremely clean and well-maintained. The beach is right across the street. The "downtown" part of Punta de Mita is so close - - just a 6-8 minute walk away. We would stay at this house again in a heartbeat!

This is a great house with loads of space for two families. The roof top patio is wonderful anytime of day; you can listen to all the birds roosting in the early evening. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and the cleaner Candy is lovely. It was a bonus to have the place cleaned while we were out at the beach. We rented our car from Luis who we definitely recommend. The friendly folks at the corner store were great, and Manny took us for a wonderful tour out snorkelling. It’s good to be aware that Punta Mita is different from Punta de Mita. Punta Mita is gated peninsula with fancy resorts and villas and beaches you cannot access. Punta de Mita is the town outside of that peninsula that is more of a regular Mexican fishing town. We didn’t want the gated community experience, so that was fine with us, but it’s good to know. You also do want to rent a car as the beaches you can walk to In town are nice, but the ones you can drive to are really nice. The only downside was that the neighbours whose property connects to this one were doing construction - they would start hammering at 9:00 in the morning and it was very loud, as the wall to our bedroom adjoins their wall. We were there over Xmas so they didn’t work on the holidays, or Sunday, but definitely on the other days. It looks as if they are in the early stages of building next door, so I would assume this may go on for a while. Otherwise, a terrific place!

A near perfect home with outstanding amenities to make a Punta de Mita stay very enjoyable! Five of us spent 7 nights enjoying the local restaurants (excellent and diverse), along with fun surf in and around Punta de Mita. Originally we were planning a stay at Sayulita and so glad we chose PdM instead. Much more laid back and accessible. Victoria and Curt's stand alone home is beautiful, well-appointed and walking distance to beaches, restaurants, stores, etc. Roman the house manager and Candy the housekeeper both did a great job answering questions we had and keeping the house very clean. Be sure and check out Cafe Amore Mio around the corner for coffee and delicious breakfasts/lunches.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Curt & Victoria's place! They were super helpful and responsive, as was Roman who helped us check in. First, the house is stunning and every little detail is perfect. The pictures don't really do it justice. Everything is so well thought out. We were three families with 4 kids between us and the set-up was great. Each family had their own bathroom and the house is spacious so you don't feel like you're on top of each other. The pool off the kitchen is genius because the kids can swim and be seen while the adults prep food or make margaritas! And the terrace is incredible. I highly recommend hiring Paty to cook -- so delicious. We arrived kind of late on our first night and didn't want to deal with cooking or finding a restaurant so she made us an amazing meal of fish tacos and ceviche and served it on the terrace. You will not regret booking this place!

It is a house with easy access, very comfortable, it has bedrooms of excellent size, it has a huge kitchen that the whole family will be happy with, I think it is a house that offers everything you need to rest...

This house is breathless with unique design and in a very quiet and nice area! The house has everything! Just loved it and I definitely recommend hiring Patty for her cooking services she cooks delicious!

It was an incredible experience for my family. The house and the town of punta mita are incredible places to be. It's like a dream. The house is better than the pictures you have. It's an amazing beach house. The decoration , distribution , every little detail is just perfect . The house and the appliances are in perfect condition. The pool its perfect to use after a day at the beach. And the grill on the rooftop it's the perfect place for a BBQ with the family at the end of the day with a perfect dinner. The fact that the house is a just in a walking distance from the house it's great! We found a beautiful beach just 10 minute walk from the house to surf with the kids that we enjoyed a lot! We went to eat to blue shrimp and tuna blanco both excellent restaurants the food is delicious and both places are nice to enjoy and have a good time. We really loved the beach , the town and the house !

Outstanding place! Me and my family loved our stay! Its remarkable how every detail about the house was perfectly planned; from the gourmet kitchen to the awesome beds, and the rooftop terrace is amazing. The house is 2 blocks from the beach and there are many options around for a good meal. We enjoyed the house so much that we didnt take the car for the full 4-day stay. For sure, one of the best places Ive seen in my airbnb experience. Ótimo atendimento da Victoria e do Curt, sempre checando para tudo dar certo antes da nossa chegada.
