What an absolutely stellar Airbnb! Gorgeous inside and out. Incredible amenities, great location. Fully stocked with anything you could ever want. The rooftop pool and gym were so lovely. It is a lot of stairs to get to the zona romantica, so be prepared for that, but it's also easy enough to get a cab if you can't walk it. We felt very safe, neighborhood and beach access are also so great. John was very responsive and accommodating. Can't recommend it enough! We'll definitely be back.

When we come to Vallarta, we normally stay south of town on the beach. This was our first experience staying right in town and we loved it! John’s condo is exactly as pictured in the listing. It was gorgeous, clean, and has everything that you need, including toiletries. The condo is perfectly situated on the hillside, giving you a direct view of the bay and amazing breezes. There is 24 hour security and Marco, the security guard, was delightful! We had no problems catching Ubers back and forth. The rooftop pool area has a gorgeous infinity pool and hot tub. This is a quality property all the way around. We would love to stay here again!

One my favorite airbnb's. The communication was so easy, we felt right at home with all the amenities. It was very hot when we were there so we only had one evening where we could open the sliding door to the balcony but we absolutely loved that feature. Beds were very comfortable. Ubering was super cheap and easy. The stairs were pretty hard on the way up but I actually appreciated and needed the exercise. Perfect location to everything we love to do in PVR but in a super quiet neighborhood. I always enjoyed seeing the smiling faces on the guards when they let us into the building. Thank you for allowing us to rent your beautiful condo:) We look forward to coming back!

Wonderful views, comfortable stay, many amenities. The place is well located, within walking distance of the shops, restaurants and the beach. The rooftop pool was awesome respite after a day of walking (and climbing up the hill). We met some very nice residents there as well. John and Mike were helpful and responsive. 100% would stay here again.

The group I was with all agreed that John and Mike's apartment was INCREDIBLE. The apartment was spotless, well-appointed, and comfortable. The rooftop was perfect to spend an afternoon; the pool was clean, lounge chairs were comfortable, and a kitchen area for food and drinks. I'd love to stay here the next time I'm in PV!

We had a great stay at John & Mike’s! The host and the manager were extremely responsive and very helpful during our stay. The condo and amenities were exactly as pictured. We loved spending time on the rooftop! We would definitely return!

Had an amazing time and felt right at home it was very spacious, comfortable, relaxing and very peaceful! The beds were very comfy and the bathrooms very spacious! The kitchen had everything you needed! Lots of space to spread out and loved that you could slide open the doors to make the outdoor part of one whole area! Great touch! We walked most of the time there are many options to access the town and beach all safe and great restaurants along the way! Serrano Grill was great for breakfast and close by on our way to the beach! Uber is great and inexpensive if you didn’t want to walk up. Make sure you have comfortable footwear if you’ve never been to the Zona Romántica this is not only fir getting to the place but also for all the area! Because of the old world charm cobble stone and mountainous and beautiful terrain Your feet thank you! We would end our day out with the beautiful view from the relaxing pool and hot tub area! You will love this place as much as we did! 🥰 book it 🙌🏼

This place is my favorite out of all the places I have stayed in Puerto Vallarta. Everything about the place was spectacular, the layout of the place and the view it came with the best part. It was very calm, and we had no problems during our stay.

Glad we opted for this condo— we came with two small kids (1 and 5 years) and had no problem hiking up the stairs— though did opt for a quick ($3!) Uber when too sweaty. Well worth the view and quiet on the hillside. PV kinda reminded me of mini- Rio. Not condo related but..Beach right by the pier (10 min walk down) was best for swimming. At the pier Hired a boat for$100 to go snorkeling at Los Arcos— enjoyed that much more than the organized Las Caletas tour. And very much condo unrelated- but United cancelled our flight after 2 hours onboard and 4 hours at the gate and treating passengers poorly. I’ll never fly united again- suggest Alaska or JetBlue to US.

Awesome, nicely decorated and clean condo. Beautiful Views from the pool, which also barely had any people each day. Overall great place. Recommend ubering back up to the place because it is a workout lol but walking down is easy as there are stairs conveniently located right outside the entrance that’ll lead you into town.

This place had everything one could possibly need for cooking, bathing, beach, etc. I don't think I've stayed somewhere that was more well appointed! The area is beautiful and very secure with onsite security. We spent a lot of time at the pool and you absolutely can't beat the views of the city and the ocean. The bedrooms were so nice for our group, as everyone had the right amount of privacy. The beds were firm, which I found comfortable. There's a Nespresso machine that made morning coffee extra delicious - they provide a few pods, but we brought our own as well. The views come with a small price - walking up/down a pretty steep hill (mostly stairs). We walked most of the time, but did take advantage of Uber/taxi back home on several occasions, which was very economical. All-in-all, it was the perfect "home base" for exploring the city and eating all the street tacos we could manage. Definitely recommend!

Excellent home perched above all the action of Zona Romantica. The home is clean with beautiful and uncluttered furniture and decor. We watched the sunset every night from the balcony and experienced one of the most breathtaking we've ever seen. The hosts are responsive and accommodating. We had asked if it was possible to get a blow up mattress for our daughter who doesn't like to sleep alone in new environments. Not only did they go out of their way, the remembered and confirmed it days before our stay. Thanks guys! We brought our kids who loved the pool on the roof. The other owners in the building couldn't have been kinder to them on our stay. I'm sure I've left out a lot, but we would highly recommend this home and hosts!

Wonderful condo in great building. Rooftop pool is super relaxing. The town was super busy but the condo was the perfect calm getaway from the town. Great spot and definitely would return.

This place was awesome and we would love to come back again. Our kids loved the rooftop pool and my husband enjoyed the gym. It was a short walk to the beach where we passed some great restaurants.

Clean, classy, and THE BEST location for people who really want to explore everything Puerto Vallarta has to offer. I can’t wait to stay here again. The street stairs provided a great workout after our many meals but Uber is super duper cheap if you want to skip the workout! Can’t say enough good things about this location and owners.

John and Mike's condo is EXACTLY as pictured. It is gorgeous and has everything we needed for a perfectly relaxing vacation. John and Mike are super responsive and typically respond to messages within minutes! Adrianna, who handled our check-in, was also very easy to communicate with via text. The location is wonderful and sits just above all of the best shops and restaurants. Be prepared, as it is a steep walk down the hill. There are steps which are well-maintained and also beautifully landscaped. Ubers and taxis are plentiful, so we typically walked down and took a taxi back. The condo has a lovely kitchen equipped with everything needed should you decide to cook in. There are also plenty of towels, comfy sheets, etc... Can't say enough about the amenities of the condo. Our favorite part was the view from the open air balcony. We followed their guidebook for restaurant recommendations and had great food all week. Coco's Kitchen was our favorite breakfast/brunch spot. All dinners were delicious, so difficult to name a favorite! We also highly recommend brunch at La Cappella. It sits above the old church in town and the view is spectacular. The only two issues we had were the washing machine had stopped working just prior to our arrival. John & Mike were gracious and allowed us to send out laundry if necessary until the machine was fixed. As a few other reviews mention, there is a higher-rise condo under construction nearby. There is definitely some noise, but it didn't take away from our stay. And, John & Mike checked in to make sure it wasn't bothering us! Overall, we would highly recommend this condo. Our family agreed it was one of our best family vacations ever.

Loved this place! So clean and modern - great views from master and main room! Nice to have security our front and another personal gate for extra security. The gym and rooftop pool are BEAUTIFUL and hardly anyone was there most times. Quick walk down into town where all the action is - we walked back up most times but it is a bit steep! The area was so quiet - only a couple restaurants nearby and not much else. Sliding doors are pretty much soundproof blocking any noise from outside anyway. Also the doors within house are pretty soundproof - didn’t hear my friends much when taking a nap. Two en suite baths are great! Good water pressure. Kitchen so we’ll equipped. Adriana made check in super easy and helped us get groceries - would def stay here again!!

The unit was spotless, very large and comfortable. The pictures are accurate and the view from the pool deck is fantastic. The salt water pool and salt water hot tub are terrific and set this complex apart from other newer complexes in the area. Because the complex is very small we felt like the pool was for our private use many days as we were the only ones using it - this was an added bonus. John and Mike's communication was great, although we required little communication as the unit had everything one could want plus an on-site manager should any questions arise. The location is fantastic as it is close enough to the busy tourist zone below but right on the edge of undeveloped old town so one can walk and explore older local neighborhoods, architecture and become friends with the people, chickens, cats and dogs that roam these neighborhoods. This was truly a delight and pleasant break from the busier tourist areas and beach. There is a local vegetable, meat and seafood market just blocks away that has everything needed should guests wish to cook some meals themselves. As mentioned by others, there is a large construction project nearby but it is nearing completion so the sporadic construction related noise should be subsiding in the very near future. Overall we had a wonderful 2-week stay and would not hesitate to come back.

Mike and John are marvelous hosts of V Estrella. We had a fabulous stay. The view at the condo is spectacular overlooking the city and bay. The unit is very spacious and comfortable. Rooftop clubhouse provides fitness center, bathroom facilities, cooking area with Grill, and infinity pool w hotub. Hosts Mike and John are great about communicating and are available to insure your stay is a memorable one. I would highly recommend a stay here. You will be glad you did!

The owners were responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The property manager diligently coordinated with our arrival and departure walking us through the features of the apartment and building amenities. During our stay there was a high rise construction nearby along with the implications there of. Overall, the apartment met our needs and we enjoyed our stay at the property.

Top notch, amazing, wonderful! My family of five and I were lucky enough to call this beautiful apartment home for a month. Fast, reliable internet, great roof top pool, and a gym with views to die for. The kitchen had everything you would ever need and more. The location is just above all the Romantic Zone has to offer. The climb up during the hot summer months can be tough if you had a knee issue, but honestly my lovely full figured self enjoyed the exercise. Taxis are inexpensive if you decide to take one up after a long day at the beach 70mx We would have loved to stay longer, but we will definitely be back!!! Thanks Mike & John

This is the most beautiful condo I’ve stayed in a while. Everything in the space is really well thought out, the kitchen is fully stocked, the photos you see don’t do it justice. To top it off John and Mike were wonderful host. They even had a bottle of wine waiting for us. We had a wonderful experience and we recommend you staying here!

Excellent, communicative hosts, and the place is honestly more beautiful than the photos let on. For three couples it was absolutely perfect. I looked high and low for a place in Puerto Vallarta that would work for three sets of adults and this hit the mark perfectly. It’s right next to a flight of stairs for a short cut into the city and the streets were quiet and the beds comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen- literally you could host a bake show in there. Would absolutely stay here again 100% if they’ll have me!

John & Mike’s place is exceptional. A true five star experience. The place is comfortable, bright and spacious, with glorious views of Puerto Vallarta. We were a party of 5 and loved our one week stay. The place has everything one can ask for, big kitchen, dining table, comfy couch and beds, washer dryer, 3 bathrooms and 2 balconies. The rooftop and pool are spectacular, we took advantage of it every day including a lovely bbq at night. We loved the location too. You are close to old town, zona romantica, and the promenade (malecon). Lots of delicious taco spots, little bars, and restaurants in walking distance. For groceries we went to the farmers market and other little shops close by - the freshest fruits and veggies you can imagine. You are also in a great location to visit one of the many beaches just outside PV. Conchas Chinas, Palmares, … are a short Uber or bus ride away. Last but not least the hosts have been wonderful. Their attention and general communication are second to none. We didn’t want to leave and we hope to be back soon. Thank you!

Loved this very spacious home! Although the climb back home going uphill will test your fitness level lol the home and rooftop pool are worth the climb, no doubt! The location is great for visitors like us that want to walk around town and explore. The check-in process was super easy and the building manager, Adriana, as well as the homeowners, John and Mike, were very attentive and responsive when I had questions. Definitely recommend this place! Friends and I split half our trip in a hotel and the other half as this place and we all liked this place a-lot better! The sunsets definitely made the stay worth it alone!

Fabulous place. Spotlessly clean and well appointed. The location can’t be beat. It’s in Alta Vista just above Zona Romantica. Close enough to the action but far enough away from the noise. There’s a staircase just outside the building to take you down into ZR. The condo has everything you need to enjoy your stay and the rooftop can’t be beat. Communication with John and Mike was top notch, and Adriana was also very quick to get in touch with. Will stay again.

We have never been in an Airbnb that was so well equipped with condiments, cleaners, laundry equipment and products. The patio doors brought the outside in. Fantastic. The beds and pillows were perfect. We spent every morning with coffee on the balcony enjoying the whales play in the water. Your accommodation made our holiday one to never forget.

Truly a beautiful place with remarkable a pool and a great rooftop. They were able to set us up with a private chef and have balloons/banners waiting for my girlfriends 30th birthday. Very clean and great communication. Cannot say enough good things about our stay.

Everything in the description is 100% accurate. John and Mike's place is immaculate, spacious and lovely! The photos don't show how open the space is. The sliding balcony doors make it even more beautiful. There are many wonderful touches, like multiple bed pillows of all different firmness. Lots of nice bath towels, shampoos and soaps. Fluffy beach towels for everybody. A fridge stocked with wine, milk, tonic, salsa. The kitchenware is nice quality. There are all kinds of spices and condiments in the cabinets. They provide coffee and have the most amazing tea selection! John and Mike were staying in a different unit in the building and nicely checked in with us to make sure all was well and to offer some great tips for our stay. The wifi was good.. just a few glitches, but that happens at home too. One of our travelers was working for part of the week and was able zoom and check in when he needed to. The walk up the stairs is quite a work-out. You can take an uber, but hiking the hills and steps of PV is one of my most favorite things to do, so we walked everywhere. The beach is an easy, fun stroll through the Romantic Zone. And there are many great restaurants and shops down there too. The gym is beautiful. I don't normally "work-out" in gyms when I'm on vacation (um.. ok, I don't go to the gym at home either), but this one is like something from the movies with incredible views and it felt very clean and covid-safe. The pool area was also big enough to spread out and we spent a lot of time up there and had it all to ourselves.

What a wonderful spot! The house is in a great location in the Romantic Zone, perched on a hill, with a breathtaking view of the ocean. The hosts were great communicators, and the property manager responsive and even provided a recommendation for grocery delivery. The house was clean, and the rooftop pool and hot tub were useful. We would gladly stay again.

I am so happy we chose to stay at John and Mike’s place. We were there for four weeks and it was the perfect place for us to feel at home during the longer stay. All amenities we would ever need, very spacious and the high speed WiFi was a big plus as we were working from home! Communication was fast and they were always helpful with anything we needed. I miss it already!

This place is spectacular and exceeded my expectations. The communication with the hosts was quick and easy. They provided lots of information and resources to read before our arrival. The place was beautiful and even better than the pictures. It had all the amenities that were needed. It's located on the top of a hill (which provides for wonderful scenery) and was in a safe neighborhood.

This place was a dream. It feels as if you walked into the pictures. The view is breathtaking and the pool is of another world. This is probably the most mesmerizing place I have been in. It feels like you are deep in a jungle paradise. Make sure to take a look at the “back wall” when you go to the pool - the view on that other side is magnificent. I stayed for a week but wished I was there longer. We were there middle of October and it was still somewhat hot and very humid. At times it cooled down and we opened the big window to get the sea breeze. Make sure you open room windows to have the air circulate through the whole unit. It feels as if a fan is blowing through. Location: The building is walking distance to everything but you must walk down an “andador” which is a set of stairs down a steep street. It is beautifully adorned with plants. It is a mini hike. My group was adamant on catching Uber but I truly enjoyed walking instead. It can be challenging on the way up. If you’re doubting yourself on this place, don’t. Treat yourself - you will thank yourself once you get there.

Such a beautiful home, away from everything but also very close (walking distance). We woke up everyday and swam everyday! The pool was great! The property manager was so nice! Overall loved our stay and it was great!

We had a wonderful 4-week stay at John & Mike’s. Communication before and during our visit was really smooth, the condo was just as advertised, amazing views and stunning terrace and pool. Property is located a small hike up the hill, but it has good stairs and a beautifully decorated walkway to get up there. Though if you do not want to walk up, we found that even from central downtown Puerto Vallarta that it was only around $2 USD in an Uber to get back up. The condo is absolutely spectacular and looks exactly like the pictures. The views from the balcony are incredible, and we initially thought it would be located on the top floor. It is not, but that only further explains how much better the view is from the rooftop pool. We spent a lot of time in the pool, on the sundeck, and the very well equipped gym. The place is secure and felt safe. Definitely make sure you eat at Palomar at the base of the building for great food and an amazing sunset view for dinner. Very close to bars and restaurants. Overall a great value and location. We would definitely consider staying here again in the future!

The place is absolutely beautiful with stunning views. The pool area is breathtaking. Easy access to town. The hosts arranged for a private chef the first night which we highly recommend. The manager, Andrea and the hosts were always available and responded quickly. We can’t wait to return!

The Casa V. Estrella Condominium was beautiful with amazing views. Adriana was the property manager whom was very pleasant and was available when we arrived hand over the keys and explain some of the rules of the property. We had a nice bottle of wine waiting for us. The place was modern, (looks brand new), spacious, very very clean and walking distance downtown in Zona Romantica. It was on hillside with spectacular views from the balcony and rooftop. Cheap uber car or tax rides everywhere if don’t want to walk up the hill. There was safe to store your valuables. The property has onsite security. The kitchen had all appliances you need if you like to cook. Love the washer and dryer in the unit. Plenty of towels for the beach or pool and bathroom needs. I stayed in the master where I could open the sliding glass door and enjoy the fresh breeze all day and night. There was no need to us the air conditioning. We all loved the nice big showers. We enjoyed early morning dips in the jacuzzi and the infinity pool. The place is very quiet and away from all the traffic and city noise. Our overall experience was relaxing with amazing views, great amenities and we would stay at this property again in a heartbeat.

If you are looking for amazing place to stay in PVR look no further. This place is perfect in every way! Location is spot on and so close to downtown but yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle. The appartment is so modern, clean and very spacious not to mention the amazing views and the infinity pool on the rooftop. This place is top notch and we will only want to stay here every time we come to PVR.

Spectacular condo and roof top pool. This place has it all! Great views, secure and modern amenities and a super friendly property manager (Adriana) who made everything convenient. The location is ideal with just a short walk to restaurants, bars and beach. Nice and close but away from all the traffic and city noise. This place is amazing! The view alone is amazing! The pool is amazing! There is a lot of space. They had all the necessary amenities at the apartment. They even had a bottle of wine for us which was amazing. The communication was on point, very quick responses from them and Adriana. Adriana is the property manager that helped us when we arrived. They also gave us a parking spot. The security is very on point and made us feel safe. I would really recommend it to anyone.
