We'd like to address a few points to clarify the situation from our perspective: Prompt Response and Action We want to emphasize that upon receiving your message about the kitchen ceiling leak at 6:30 PM, our team responded immediately at 6:31 PM and dispatched a contractor to your property within half an hour. Our priority is always to address urgent issues as quickly as possible to minimize disruption and damage. iPad Compensation and Our Offer of Cleaning Regarding the iPad, when we discussed the matter with you, you informed us that you or your family members work for Apple and did not require compensation. We understood this to mean the issue was resolved to your satisfaction at that time. Once the initial leak was fixed, we offered to send a professional cleaner to address any related mess. You declined this offer, which we respected. Subsequent Leak and Unforeseen Circumstances You mentioned a subsequent leak in the 1/2 bathroom. We did not receive any further communication from you or your party about this specific issue after the kitchen leak was addressed. Therefore, any claim that we were "aware of a water leak...and not rectified" regarding the bathroom is inaccurate. We rely on our guests to inform us promptly of any new problems so we can take immediate action. It's also important to note that the area experienced an intense and unprecedented storm that night. Many properties in the region, including those that typically have no issues, experienced flooding or leaks due to the sheer volume of water. While we maintain our properties diligently, such extreme weather events are unfortunately out of our control. Maintenance and Property Standards We understand your comments about the mildew on the shower door. We regularly inspect and maintain our properties to the highest standards, and we will certainly look into this specific detail to ensure it meets our quality expectations.
