An excellent stay! The accommodation is as shown in the photos, and everything worked perfectly. The air conditioners cool incredibly well, which made the stay very comfortable. We especially want to highlight the host's service, who was super flexible and understanding with our check-in and check-out times. In addition, the cleaning staff was extremely friendly, attentive and honest, and the transportation recommendations they gave us were a 10. It was a great experience and we definitely highly recommend it!

Pretty nice and relaxing place for a vacation, it looks like the pictures, it is a pretty good location from the downtown and everything is nearby. I loved and enjoyed staying here, didn’t want to leave. Although bugs would appear in the bedrooms overnight.

We went on a family trip to celebrate my mom's 60th birthday... the goal was to have fun and relax and we accomplished that... the recommendations we received were amazing... there is construction in the neighborhood but honestly it didn't bother us... we spent a lot of time at the Airbnb and loved it

Casa Mochila was the best decision we made for our group! There was lots to do for everyone, sunbathe, pool, games, lounge/relaxing spots. Especially because a lot of the beaches in puerto had pretty insane waves during our stay. They also shared lots of recommendations for massages, etc. The beach is only a couple minutes walk and so are lots of the shops. I highly recommend staying here if you’re looking to stay in Puerto. The house is so beautiful and each room has a lot of privacy! One of our very best finds on airbnb!!

We stayed at Casa Mochila with a group of eight and were very comfortable. The property was clean and well maintained. We used the taxi service recommended by the host to get around, and also hired the chef they suggested, Sonia, whose food was delicious.

Super comfortable house, we really enjoyed it! I recommend hiring the food service—everything was delicious! The amenities are really nice! Overall, excellent service in every way, and we had a fantastic time!

Great place to stay. We loved how it was close to playa barra for the mornings or sunset. We actually liked being further away from la punta area and enjoyed the walk. Casa mochilla was a great place for a bunch of people to stay. Only comment was there is a lot of construction and new places to stay being built up around Casa mochilla so it was quite noisy in the mornings.

Easily one of the best Airbnbs I've ever stayed at. Marion is very responsive and even helped us get a taxi for one of our guests to get from the airport to the Airbnb. The rooms were cleaned every day and our trash was emptied. The pool was clean and the kitchen was well-stocked. This is definitely the place to stay in Puerto Escondido.

Everything is great! Everyone is very kind

Very nice house, very comfortable rooms. It's just as it looks in the photos. The only detail is the dirt road to get there, but if you rent motorcycles for the day and a van with a driver for the night, it's perfect. It's very easy to get there if you put the name of the house on google maps, it appears just by searching for it. The hosts are super friendly and attentive all the time. Recommended for large groups.

Such a gorgeous place! So private while also so close to the ocean and shops. Hard to find a better place to stay in Puerto or La Punta. Would absolutely recommend!

Great place, very comfortable and quiet. You can disconnect in a space where you can be with family or friends. To go to the tourist areas it is advisable to bring your own transportation or rent it.

The place is big and comfortable. Not much construction going on around there right now. Could use more fans in the outdoor social areas though. And the neighbour has 2 pups tied up 😔 so there’s dogs crying nonstop. It was heartbreaking. The accommodations though are great! And it’s a quick walk to La Punta.

The house is really nice!!! You can walk 10 minutes and get to the beach, everything is amazing, Marion's attention was very good, the house was impeccable, I would definitely choose it again

Casa Mochila truly is paradise! We bought food in town and didn't get in a car for 3 days. It was fantastic to have a pool given the heat. The rooms were beautifuly appointed. Only drawback was neighbors playing disco music at night. In spite of that, highly recommend

Excellent stay, if what you are looking for is a quiet place, this is the one indicated. The always clean rooms, excellent communication with Marion, made us feel at home. I would definitely come back and recommend it.

In general it was very good, everything was clean, nice and the attention, excellent.

The place is amazing. Each room has its own bathroom and also has AC. It has a very good location, just 15 mins walking from Punta Zicatela. Communication with Marion and Jennifer was very good. From the beginning they contacted us and they were always on the lookout. Highly recommend this place

the backpack house is very nice very clean, it has all the amenities. it is quiet the place near several beaches. Marion is a very friendly person and recommends places. It resolves things quickly. I would rent the place again for the next trip
