Beautiful, spacious house just a block away from the Corredor Gastronómico and a 10-minute walk to Santa Lucía Park. The property has tons of character and beautiful original features. It is ideal for groups, as every bedroom includes air conditioning and an ensuite bathroom. The bedrooms are split across two floors, offering excellent privacy. The top floor features a lovely suite complete with a desk and a private terrace. Jorge was a great host, he responded immediately to all our messages and shared some highly useful local recommendations.

Nice central location. It served us well! Parking can be a bit limited sometimes.

There was some minor maintenance issues when we checked in. A broken a/c in one bedroom, broken outdoor lighting, and a pool issue. Jorge was extremely responsive and worked to resolve them as quickly as possible. All issues were resolved by the following afternoon. The stay was incredible for the girls weekend we had. The design and decor in each room is so thoughtful. The dishware in the kitchen is incredible! This Airbnb has everything you could possibly need. The massages provided by Sylvia and Lulu were incredible. And Glendy made amazing breakfasts and was instrumental in resolving the maintenance issues that we encountered at check-in. I hope to go back someday!

The house is exactly as described, beautiful, spacious, and perfect for a large group. We were 12 and fit very comfortably. The location is great, very close to the Corredor Gastronómico, which made going out for meals very convenient. Jorge was also very quick to respond to our messages. Highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again.

Jorge’s place is sort of magical. It had so much atmosphere and great architecture. And a lot of style. The neighborhood is one of the best in Merida with the fantastic Calle 47 restaurants and shops about a block and a half away. The out door space with living area and pool and bar is divine…we kind of lived out there. It’s hard to find 5 bedroom Houses and this one is great ..all with ensures. A wonderful week For sure

Staying was an absolute dream. The house is stunning — beautifully designed, full of light, and thoughtfully curated down to the smallest details. Every space feels calm, elegant, and effortlessly comfortable. The location is perfect for exploring Mérida, yet the house itself feels like a private oasis. We especially loved the peaceful courtyard and how the home balances traditional character with modern comfort. Communication was seamless, check-in was easy, and everything was exactly as described (if not better). This is one of those rare places that feels both luxurious and warm — a home you genuinely don’t want to leave. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend to anyone visiting Mérida.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house is beautiful, very well maintained, and has an amazing atmosphere – we felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. Everything was perfect, and we truly enjoyed our time there. We would come back anytime without hesitation. Just a small note for future guests: two of the rooms face the street, so they may not be ideal for very light sleepers. It didn’t bother us at all, but it’s worth mentioning. Overall, a fantastic place and a clear recommendation!

A Perfect stay for special family or good friend celebrations. Our daughter got married in charming Merida and It was an excellent Casa for small outside gatherings. The pool -cleaned daily is lovely. It’s a good location 20 minute walk from historic downtown. Things to consider : Parking nearby is usually available. The main spacious BR and an a 2nd BR are on the second floor requiring walking up 2 flights of stone steps some without railings . 3 BR are on 1st floor + 1 flat screen den. Jorge , the host was very responsive to any of our concerns .

The house is very nice, decorated with typical good taste crafts, it is surrounded by vegetation that makes it fresh and pleasant, the rooms are very good size and the area is central with good restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Everything is impeccable, the cleanliness of the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms is excellent. The people who greeted me and who do the cleaning are exceptional, friendly and helpful. I booked extra breakfast and snack service and it was fabulous. Very memorable, we will be back

The photos of the house matched! Very pleasant and comfortable stay in the house. Jorge was very kind the whole time and always very clear with the instructions!! Location, location, location. This is a great place to stay in downtown Mérida, as it is very close to Paseo Montejo and just a couple of blocks from Calle 60, which is a restaurant corridor with amazing options. In addition to this, Jorge's place is spacious (we were 9), super clean, and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay — plus, it features beautiful Mexican décor, perfect for your IG feed! A special shoutout to Glendy and Javier, who made our stay memorable with their amazing breakfast, which you can arrange for an additional cost.

We were a family of 9; 5 adults and 4 children, ages 9-14. This was perfect for us. The house provided an excellent location to access shopping, parks and restaurants. The children loved the pool. We had Javier and Glendy do daily traditional Yucatán breakfasts and two dinners for us. They are a treasure! We also liked a casual restaurant right across the street, “Masa Madre” for breakfast, pizzas and other Italian food. One hiccup we experienced was with noise. The front bedroom is on a very busy street which can be noisy early in the morning as well as at night. There was also an apparently new situation with a barking dog in a neighboring yard. This interfered with sleep very early morning and late at night. To be fair, Jorge and Glendy turned themselves inside out trying to resolve this problem, to no avail. Our hope is that Jorge can get this neighbor to be more responsible for his pet. We loved our time here and have created wonderful Merida memories with our family.

We had a fabulous week at Jorge’s for a family wedding. He was super responsive to messages, and Glendy’s cooking was excellent! Great location, walkable to El Centro and don’t miss the restaurants on Calle 47. Also recommend a trip to Uxmal and cenotes!

We were a group of 7 college friends and this was a perfect find. Not a bad room on the property. We were extremely comfortable and found ourselves hanging out at home a lot. Perfect getaway. We’ll be back.

We loved this villa in Merida - it was gorgeous with spacious rooms, comfortable beds and en suite bathrooms for every room. The layout is perfect for a group of friends allowing for privacy and yet amazing shared spaces to enjoy. A gorgeous space, well appointed and combining the beautiful original architecture with modern touches. The service was friendly and helpful and Jorge was very responsive. Wonderful stay—even better than the photos!

This was a true compound for you and your loved ones to retreat. From the moment I walked in, my jaw dropped at the sheer character, charm, and respect of the local architecture. The pictures didn't do it justice. This is the best house I've stayed in. Sometimes when you stay at a large Airbnb, it doesn't fit into the surrounding neighborhood. That was not the case here. Jorge and his team built something truly remarkable. It was luxurious while marrying the underlying Mexican design sense. Jorge was responsive. The cleaning team took care of everything from the dishes to the pool. They even offered to clean our clothes. We felt, for the first time, this was true hospitality for an Airbnb. My group is already looking for when to come back.

Jorge’s place was an immaculate dream. We were a group of 9 girls for a bachelorette and it was the perfect oasis. The whole house had a beautiful aesthetic and the air conditioning was a god send. Communication was great and availability of services was a nice touch. The house was near a very trendy and cute Calle with many restaurants and shops. Centrally located to many things in the area. 100/10 🤌🏻

The best central and beautiful place

We had several joining us this trip so we needed several bedrooms. Jorge's place was perfect. Anytime something came up he was quick to respond and help. The house was cozy and had plenty of places to retreat if you wanted a little me time.

Jorge is a super host, the house is as shown in the photos, very nice and full of tasteful details. We gave very good recommendations for restaurants, bars, and places to visit. We had a mishap with the air conditioning and he immediately sent us a technician to resolve it. In general, we would definitely go back to washing the house, omitted to say it is two blocks away from a street with a gastronomic tourist corridor. Super located.

Casa Lolita was an amazing experience for me and my family/friends. Jorge was very responsive and helped out tremendously with our stay. It is close to amazing parks, restaurants, and plenty of other activities. The decor in the home is aesthetically pleasing, and the pool is always a huge plus when traveling with family.

We lived our stay here- probably my most favorite Airbnb ever. The decor was so beautiful and tasteful, and everything was solid and high quality. The layout worked great for our group- 3 bedrooms downstairs in the original building, and two modern bedrooms on the upper level. Great restaurants on Calle 47 a few minutes walk. I’d definitely recommend!

The house is incredible, it has an ideal distribution for everyone to have privacy but at the same time there is a lot of coexistence in the common areas. Lots of coffee, restaurants and bars options within 5-15 min walking. The house is so welcoming that we even spent full days in the pool and cooking at home. Communication with Jorge and the house has been my best Airbnb experience!

The 4 king rooms, they are great!! Nobody stays with the ugly room! Haha the two-bedroom is super good too! The house is awesome!

We were a family of 8 adults and Casa Lolita was just perfect! The location is a few blocks walk to everywhere we wanted to be, Paseo de Montejo, Santa Lucia park, Calle 47 where there is a gastronomic corridor in development with many great restaurants, cafes and bars. So many options! We always felt safe walking everywhere and at night the breeze would come up to make our nightly strolls amazing. The house! So comfortable and welcoming with plenty of space and privacy for 4 couples, just beautiful. We had Glendy and Javier prepare a few meals for us, do not miss out on that they are amazing, and so gracious and prepare the most amazing breakfast and dinners. We used Jorge‘s recommendation for a driver to take us on a tour to Uxmal and Muycuche cenote. Excellent service. Also, a massage by Silvia was not to be missed. Casa Lolita has it all, loved our stay💕

Casa Lolita is a beautiful sanctuary in the Centre of Merida. Very close to the new area of restaurants-easily walkable to a wide variety of cuisines. Short Uber rides everywhere else, those younger than I easily walked! The house is better than pictures-every bedroom with en-suite bathroom is perfect. Everyone felt as if they had their own quiet place. Glendy and Javier kept the outside area, pool and floors well groomed (and trash removal) almost daily. Jorge is the most responsive host I have encountered from booking to leaving-major cudos to him! We stayed 12 nights and I would highly recommend to anyone-wish I was there right now watching the pool change colors in the quiet of my own little paradise!

Our stay in Merida was wonderful, staying at Lolita's house, Lolita did it more, it really has nice rooms, all top-notch amenities! It's a spectacular house! I definitely recommend it, its staff of 100!! An unforgettable experience for my family, thank you Jorge for your attention.

Casa Lolita has been one of the most beautiful houses on Airbnb. Every room is spectacular and the rustic details make for a very pleasant and peaceful stay. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Jorge was always attentive to all our needs and gave us very good recommendations. Javier and Glendy were great hosts, they made our stay a great experience. They prepared an excellent Yucatecan meal for us, they were to meet all our needs , always with a smile . They even got us a piñata for the kids. Super recommended. We'll be back!

This place is way better in person than the beautiful pictures showcased. We had a family of 10 for a few nights and felt right at home and super comfortable. The beds are quality beds that helped us get a full nights sleep after tours all day. We used the kitchen staff for daily breakfast. It was super delicious and affordable. This house is located near coffee shops and restaurants that are all walkable and easy to get to. 10/10 recommend this house!!

The house is very nice, as it's classic style but with contemporary details that make it cozy and comfortable. Ideal for groups or families and spend the afternoons there. Cleanliness and mtto is very good. The air conditioning works perfectly, to make the room in general very comfortable; there are also two partners who welcome you and can help you with everything. Communication with the host was very good. The only detail is that bathroom supplies were limited (shampoo, toilet paper).

My stay at the house in Merida was simply spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were speechless about the beauty and comfort of the house. Every corner was impeccably decorated, and the atmosphere was cozy and relaxing. The whole experience was amazing, from the spacious and comfortable rooms to the exquisite pool. We spent unforgettable moments on the terrace, enjoying alfresco meals and the cool Yucatecan breeze. The service and attention to detail deserve special mention. The staff was friendly and always willing to help us with any requests. We felt right in a true luxury oasis. The house location was also ideal, close to Merida's main sights, which made exploring the city very convenient.

Seriously I couldn’t ask for a better Airbnb to stay on my wedding trip. The house looks better in real life than the photos, the host was super helpful and the people that helped with the house were so helpful and they even offer to cook meals for us:) i will recommend this place to anyone visiting merida with a big group cannot wait to go back

The house is beautiful and very comfortable. Jorge recommended a cook and made us feel at home, in addition to the fact that he cooks delicious and has a very varied menu. The weather on one of the bedrooms didn't work and we couldn't use that room. Outside that situation, everything was perfect. Jorge is very helpful and always available for anything. I highly recommend your stay at this house.

Our stay at Casa Lolita was a treat! Jorge was super helpful allowing for a flexible check-in/out that accommodated our group, and was always quick to respond when we had questions. The rooms exceeded the photos! Each room had something uniquely awesome about it. Perfect little slice of paradise to escape the heat!

We had a family reunion with 8 people. The three bedrooms downstairs accommodated 5 people (two bedrooms with a large bed and one with two singles), upstairs there was a smaller bedroom for one person and the beautiful master suite for 2. We had the wonderful idea of asking Mrs. Glendy and her husband Javier to cook breakfast and lunch/dinner every day. Glendy is a fabulous cook and Javier, apart from serving us, took care of any details in the house.

Jorge is an excellent host the place is great, we were 8 in the group and everyone is happy. will come again!!! very happy

This place is awesome.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Casa Lolita. The house is both aesthetically stunning and comfortable. We had a large group with young children and we felt right at home. The house is within walking distance to a ton of great restaurants and parking was easy for our rental cars. We took advantage of meals by Glendy and Javier on four nights and one breakfast over 7 days, and by far they were the best meals we had in Mérida (despite some really good other meals in town!). Glendy is an exceptional chef. We also had Siliva come for massages at the house on a couple of days and she was wonderful. We will have very fond memories of our time at Jorge's Casa Lolita!

We enjoyed a blissful week at Jorge’s place in Mérida. The casa has been thoughtfully renovated and restored, full of historic charm and completely updated at the same time. Perfect for a group - each of the five main bedrooms is private and comfortable, and the common spaces are perfect for relaxing both indoors and outside. The home’s caretakers, Glendy and Javier, are wonderful people and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect (and delicious). Our group included two toddlers, and though the stairs and pool require caution, the house worked very well for all of us. Highly recommended.

We took a trip down with a group of colleagues, 10 of us. For the majority this was their first stay in Merida. Walking into the home they were all out at ease, and fell in love. We’ll be putting Jorge’s stay on our list of ‘stay agains’ and recommend you stay here too! His food recommendations were great, including our in house chef for the week, Glendy. Javier, the house caretaker always had a smile on his face and made us feel completely welcome.

A really beautiful house where we stayed last week, a total of 7 people. The house is even more beautiful than the photos. We loved everything about it. I agree with all the other positive reviews, and want to give my perspective on a couple concerns some other reviewers mentioned. Glenndy and Javier come by to clean the pool, sweep the courtyard and do other light maintenance. They are 100% friendly and professional. It is true that they do simply walk in the front door (and let you know immediately that they are there), but they're professionals who have a job to do, so I think that's completely appropriate. I am only saying this because some people seem to have been a bit startled by this. Second, the 2 rooms that face the street (the kitchen and one of the bedrooms) have sound reducing glass installed in the windows. I occasionally slept in the front ground floor bedroom and it was fine. The house has 5 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. We hope to return!

The house is incredibly nice. Huge. The best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. It is very dramatic with very high ceilings. A staff of people come with the house and they offer to cook and clean and do laundry if needed and they’re very kind and very talented chefs. A note: the streets in Merida are somewhat narrow and cars zoom through them and their sound echos in the streets. If you have sensitive sleepers they will probably want to avoid the rooms facing the street. This goes for any property in Merida and this comment isn’t specific to this place. I would highly recommend this place. We loved it and it’s very well managed.

This house is great! An essential aspect of our stay was the services provided by Glendy and Javier. The food and housekeeping services (at an extra price) were excellent! I would definitely stay at this property ( or any other properties managed by Jorge) in the future.

Wonderful week long stay with family. Housekeep and cook Glendy plus husband Javier were excellent. We had three families with six adults and three kids, house was well set up inside and out. We had everything we needed. Four king bedrooms were great. The bedroom with two large doubles was quite noisy since it right on a busy street with buses and trucks. The other bedrooms with king beds were pristine and quiet. We had a superb time in Casa Lolita and it is a easy walk or short Uber anywhere in Centro. The common spaces were great for family games and outside by the pool was shady and fun place to hang out after the kids were in bed. We rented cars to get easily to beaches and ruins. We also hired Rodrigo for two full day tours further away as recommended , the tours and van were great. Jorge the host was super responsive and his recommendations were right on. Fantastic week.
