Highly recommended. The apartment is the same as in the photos, has a very good location, Las Catalinas is super beautiful, and it has access to the club. We will return.
Great value for the money. The absolute highlight is the Beach Club access. The supermarket, restaurants, beach, and pool are all conveniently close by. Communication was also very good. The only real downside is that the property is right next to the street. However, this is clearly communicated beforehand, so it wasn’t an unpleasant surprise. In fact, there was very little traffic at night. I happened to be awake from 2–3 a.m., and literally not a single car drove by during that time.
Even though the unit was on a busy, loud road, the inside was very quiet and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed being so close to walking paths and the Las Catalinas neighborhood. Anna was very detailed (even provided pictures) with entry/exit instructions.
Our stay was better than we could have imagined! Jamie was quick to respond to any requests or answer any questions! You can absolutely just show up and relax because everything is, or can be, taken care of!
Wonderful place, super clean, and Jaime, who helped us with check-in, was wonderful! He always answered our questions and helped us with everything we needed!
The place is very nice and cozy. The only thing that could be improved would be for the parking to be closer, but everything else is great.
The location is the real star here. You can walk to coffee shops, restaurants, and other amenities in the village within seconds. We also loved having access to the club, with its three pools, gym, and restaurant — perfect for going back and forth between the beach and the club throughout the day. A few minor things to know before you book: • Water pressure is quite low, so if you need a strong shower, this might not be the spot for you • The place sits close to the road, so early risers may notice some morning noise from construction and garbage trucks • The village grocery store has limited selection and prices are significantly marked up — if you’re planning to cook, it’s worth stocking up outside the village first None of these were dealbreakers for us. The price point was excellent for what you get, and we’d absolutely stay here again.
We loved our time in Las Catalinas! This is such a quaint and relaxing area on the coast of Costa Rica! The home was beautiful and had everything we needed for our short stay! It was walking distance to all the local restaurants, beach, and beautiful beach club which allowed access to multiple pools, a gym, and even a sauna and cold plunge. The home was clean and well stocked! The hosts were amazing and even sent video instructions on how to access the home which were so helpful! I highly recommend this stay for anyone wanting to explore this super unique town!
We had an incredible stay in Catalinas, and the house was incredible...Great location, great space for a family and very good and quick communication...Beach club was great too....We would come back, no doubt
This is one of the nicest Airbnb properties we have ever stayed ( and we have stayed at a lot of properties in many places in the world). The host was very responsive and Las Catalinas is so beautiful.
Just like the photos, with ocean views and a well-equipped kitchen.
We stayed for like five days for a wedding and had a fabulous time! Apartment is located on the main road but construction seems to have moved farther up the hillside so it was absolutely quiet for us in comparison to other reviews. Bedroom with two beds is smaller than it appears in photos so that room would probably be best for children, or adults who are really good friends. Also the apartment operates on a septic tank - again not an issue for our group which was made up of Ticos - but if you're not familiar with it or throwing away all toilet paper in the trash then something to consider for the convenience of your stay. Apartment was directly across the street from a gate that is private so you have to walk down a couple blocks to enter the area with restaurants, convenience store, beach etc, but it's such a minor detour. Late check-in imho (3pm), but everything was spotless and had everything we needed for a great stay!
Beautiful stay, we thought we would want to rent bikes but everything was more then walkable. The place was gorgeous and exactly what we needed, Anna was communicative and helpful! Would 100% recommend, thank you guys for a beautiful stay!
Very nice place that is exactly as described in the listing. The hosts were very proactive, and the instructions were very clear and helpful. Las Catalinas is very beautiful, and when we were there, it was very quiet and easy to get reservations at the restaurants on site. Nice little beach, and the sunsets are beautiful.
