Great place! Close to the beach!

I had a wonderful stay at Lisvias place, she is a very friendly and helpful person. The whole place has a very relaxed vibe and there is enough space for all guests. Would come again! Room with AC is a big plus and everyone has their own bathroom with shower. Kitchen and living room can be used as well. Also the beach and Guiones town are nearby, 25 minute walk or a 5 min drive.

Casa mathias was awesome. Lisvia is helpful when booking transport and a pleasure to get to know. Amazing location with a simple set up for the solo traveller, or couples! Can’t wait to get back

I loved staying at Lisvia’s house and would stay again! As a solo female traveler I felt very safe there. She was always kind and responsive. It is just outside of town. You can walk but I rented a quad. The shared spaces were lovely and my room was the perfect size. Def a great option for solo travelers!

Lisvia was such a great host! My shuttle came in late and she cooked me dinner so I didn’t have to go out searching for food. She also arranged a shuttle for me from Nosara to Samara. :) The room and bathroom (not attached to the room but with its own lock) were clean and comfortable. The shared spaces were also so nice. My only comment is make sure your tuk tuk always drops you off at the door since the dogs on the street can be quite aggressive. Otherwise, everything was great!

Lisvia was a warm and hospitable host, she was responsive upon my booking and ensured I was comfortable during my stay. Casa Matthias is an ideal location for the budget traveler visiting Nosara, there's a grill and a big kitchen with plenty of pantry space for food. In the mornings, I walked to Bodhi Tree (about 12 minutes) which was convenient. The beach is only a 20-25 minute walk too. I would encourage travelers to rent a bike or motorcycle when in Nosara. Last, the room was clean and laundry service is available. Everybody comes back to Nosara. Pura Vida.

Lisvia is a wonderful host. The place is filled with heart and she lives on property as well and will be there for any questions. There are 5 rooms in total, each their own bathroom and a shared kitchen and living room space. The room was small but comfortable and clean.

The house is very nice even compared to other accommodations we found in Costa Rica. There are 3 bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom and shared kitchen, equipped with everything you need. We could walk to Guiones Beach to surf in about 20 minutes. We had a great time.
