Casa Bouganvillea is absolutely stunning. It was spacious and very comfortable. Has a great central location and we felt at home. I would definitely stay there again. Thank you for sharing your house.

This is the seventh house we have rented in San Miguel over the course of five year. It was by far the best. The home was large and beautifully decorated. The three outside places were peaceful and enjoyable to sit in. We hosted a party and everyone commented on what a lovely place it was and how they wanted to buy it. There are three large, ensuite bedrooms, each with a king bed, plus a smaller bunk room and a powder room. Because the house sits off the street, you can't hear any traffic noise (and not many cars travel on the one-way street in any event). The house is a three-block walk to the Jardin and is convenient to everything Centro has to offer. While the rental rate is a bit higher than other houses, it is an elegant place for four to eight people to live comfortably while they enjoy San Miguel. After sampling seven houses around town, this is the one we will always stay in on future trips to SMA.

Beautiful villa in the heart of the center. So easy to explore the city from this location. We will definitely stay here again!

If you are traveling to San Miguel de Allende, Stay Here. A wonderful and luxurious vila. Pilar is an amazing host and went beyond our expectations. We loved the well equipped kitchen and multiple terraces. On New Year’s eve we watched fireworks from one of the terraces. Very comfortable and impeccably clean.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Bougainvillea! The home is absolutely beautiful — impeccably clean, thoughtfully designed, and truly a peaceful retreat. I was genuinely impressed by how well put together everything was, from the decor to the overall feel of the space. It’s clear a lot of care goes into maintaining this home. We felt comfortable and welcomed from the moment we arrived. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting San Miguel!

The home is jaw dropping & the Airbnb group was very accommodating. Some of the best restaurants, cafes, bars & shops are only minutes away by foot. Couldn’t recommend a better location to explore this part of the city. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an epic San Miguel experience.

We were absolutely blown away by Pilar’s home in San Miguel. The courtyard is stunning and we were very comfortable throughout our stay. I even said that if it had rained at all (it didn’t) I would have been happy to just sit and enjoy the beautiful home. It’s so well situated, don’t miss it!

The pictures did not do the house justice. It was a spectacular home. Three suites, wonderful rooftop gardens on both sides of this beautiful home. Downstairs courtyard was perfect for the afternoons with wine and cheese. Beautifully decorated for the culture of Mexico. A comfortable place to stay. Great location to everything we wanted to do from shops, walking the sites and restaurants. Would definitely rent this again and are considering doing it for one month. Absolutely love this place.

Beautiful home, beautiful design, and beautiful patio spaces…all with bougainvilleas throughout the house and patios. The host was flexible with our arrival time and very responsive. This house is even better in person than what the great pictures show.

Great location with many restaurants and shops within walking distance. House was incredible with great layout inside and out (courtyard was our favorite hangout). Priced at a premium but worth it.

Gorgeous space! Exactly as promised. From the decor, the rooftop deck, the lovely bougainvillea-covered courtyard, and the well-appointed bedrooms - it was a very comfortable space to work remotely for a week and explore on the evenings/weekend. It was even bigger than it looked in the pictures. Communication with the property managers was simple. The location made it easy to get around on foot to the city’s restaurants and attractions. The only thing that was less than desirable - which had nothing to do with the house but something I’d want to know if I was going to rent in this neighborhood- was the early morning fireworks on the weekends. Both Saturday and Sunday morning of our stay fireworks started going off at 5:30 in the morning and kept going for at least an hour making sleep impossible. Still giving a 5 star review since the stay was gorgeous and was out of the control of the owners.

Spectacular, spacious, and luxurious home. Beautiful courtyard and comfortable roof top. Walking distance to everything. Large kitchen with everything we needed. Laundry room as well. We were spoiled here. Management is easy to reach and very responsive. We highly recommend this home.

Good place and good hosts

This is a beautiful home and the owners have thought of everything. The style is of old SMA yet built with modern construction. You will feel so comfortable here that you won’t want to leave. All of the central historic city is a short walk away

I wish I could give this Airbnb 6 stars! Like all the reviews before mine, I have nothing but praise for this home. The location is perfect, in the heart of town and walkable to almost everything. The house itself is beautiful and the photos don’t do it justice. All the listed amenities were provided and then some. There’s not much you can possibly need that’s not in this home. The host was always super responsive and even suggested a great transportation company and tour company. Can’t wait to come back!!!

Better than the photos. Amazing place. It has pretty much everything you need. Only thing is maybe a blanket downstairs haha but honestly it was SUPER stocked with things, super easy, great location, what an Airbnb experience should be like. Would return no questions asked. Great food super close.

This is the most spectacular place I’ve ever stayed at while on vacation. The casa is magnificent - beautifully designed with stunning interiors. They have really thought of every little detail to make guests feel at home. The place was immaculate. It is also right in the centre of town close to all the best restaurants. The hosts were extremely responsive - they even sent someone to fix the fireplace on Christmas Day! I could not recommend this place more and will certainly be staying there again.

What an awesome house. Our party of 6 adults were very comfortable and felt right at home. We loved all the different areas to lounge and the private spaces when we needed to unwind. Beautiful location. Would stay here again.

Absolutely stunning! The home is beautiful and well appointed with high quality furnishings- not typical ‘rental house’ furniture. The beds were comfortable and the towels were plentiful and plush. The pantry was stocked with the basics including coffee. It is centrally located within walking distance to numerous restaurants and attractions. It was my first visit to San Miguel de Allende but not my last. I will definitely book Casa de Bougainvillea and have recommended it to friends.

The home was a peaceful sanctuary for our family in the bustling downtown. Jerry provided so much important information when I arrived. Sergio, Ana and other team members were always responsive and helpful. The bedrooms were well appointed and comfortable. The entire home was well designed. We look forward to returning to the Casa!

This was our first trip to Mexico and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful home to stay in! We were in San Miguel for our daughters wedding and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I think Casa Bougainvillea is even more beautiful in person!!! Thank you for a wonderful stay :)

I have literally never stayed in a place so beautiful in all my life. It made my trip a 10 out of 10. I can’t wait to return ! The hosts were very responsive and helpful.

I cannot express how much we enjoyed our stay. The house was absolutely perfect—just beyond expectations. We loved every minute of our stay, and are so appreciative of the opportunity to have a brief home in the midst of San Miguel. Oh, and the location cannot be beat.

This house is a beautiful gem! I've visited San Miguel dozens of times and we were so lucky to find this place for 6 people in my family. Pilar and the staff were responsive to every question I had and every room had its own beautiful charm. Right near the Fuente de los Deseos (Fountain of Desires), a short walk to the center, shops, restaurants, cafes, and Juarez park (our kids went every day), yet tucked away from noisy streets. Both terraces and the central courtyard are stunning. We hope to come back again and again!

We could not have asked for a better stay in San Miguel. Casa Bougainvillea was in the perfect location, close enough to the city center and other attractions, but far away enough to remain peaceful. The property was just as described and comfortably accommodated our group of five adults and one child. Host was responsive and provided great service. Shout out to a local restaurant a few doors down called La Gordibuena!

This is a very nice newer house, built in the traditional Mexican style. Good King beds, TVs and Internet. Close but not too close to the Jardín. Great rooftop. Really nice bathrooms. Well furnished, including courtyard and roof top.
