Excellent house in Casamar, very good service. A peaceful place to enjoy the beach as a family

We (couple + dog) booked this San Carlos home last minute for a quick beach getaway—2 nights / 3 days. We arrived around 1 pm and left after checkout. Pros: The house is tastefully decorated, dog-friendly, and comfortable. We loved the beach at low tide—long, rocky stretches where you can walk either way to reach other beaches—and the pool was great when high tide made the beach unusable. Cons: The home wasn’t ready on arrival—no toilet paper or kitchen paper, so we had to go pick up. Kitchen basics were missing or incorrect: body/hand soap instead of dish soap (even after asking), no sponge at first, no cleaning cloth, and no counter spray. The cookware (pots and pans) is in poor condition and made cooking frustrating, and there were no oven mitts. There was no gas for the BBQ on arrival; a tank was later dropped off but not installed or tested until after more complaints and waiting, and there were no grill-cleaning tools.
