4BR Villa in Tulum

Helen

Excellent, 1 month ago

The home is beautiful and in a great, very walkable area close to delicious restaurants (shout out to Chencho’s restaurant!). We cannot say enough about Lau who helped us through check in and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. She was so responsive and very helpful when unexpected things happened! We cannot thank her enough!

We must say thank you, David for allowing us to stay in his beautiful home. This was everything and more for my family it was the area of La Veleta nestled minutes from everything you could imagine David and his team were very helpful proactive and very communicative I will definitely recommend staying here for anybody visiting the Tulum area as we would also stay again. David is a top-tier host that makes sure his guests are comfortable and have everything needed. Their management team is also great as they will help you getting around finding activities things to do and making recommendations this stay was awesome thank you.

Host Response

So happy you had a great stay. Hope to host you again soon.

By far the best Air BNB my friends and I have ever stayed at! This beautiful home was spotless, had plenty of AC units for the hot days, and had everything you could possibly need. The architecture is to die for and the pools are super clean and beautiful. It’s walking distance from multiple food stands, restaurants, coffee shops and bars! Oh and the best part are the amazing concierge ladies that checked up on us, offered local recommendations, and helped us book a private chef!

Beautiful villa in the heart of La Veleta, a bustling area with lots of restaurants, great shops and bars. Its such a safe area, you can explore all the amazing food trucks in the area with ease. Our guests loved the villa - they were here for a 10 day artist residency and the villa was their home base. They really enjoyed how specious it was, comfortable and how each bedroom had its own bathroom. The kitchen and dinning area opens up onto the pool so super easy to relax and get cold drinks. Kitchen had everything you need to cook, pots, pans ect.. Great fridge to keep all our food and even had a washer and dryer! Great place for big groups! Amazing communication all around. Thank you!!

Can not say enough great things about David's property! Went down to Tulum with my family for a long weekend to celebrate my 40th, and David's house was the perfect setting for us to hang out, play games, walk to breakfast/dinner. It had an amazing kitchen that provided the perfect set up for us to have a private chef come in and make dinner for us one night-which was the highlight of the trip for all of us. The best part of booking with David was having Lau as a personal concierge to help us arrange transportation, our chef, a reservation at a beach club and answered any and all questions we had in an extremely timely manner. She was amazing, and I can not thank her enough for her help! The house is about 10-15 minutes from the beach, so a taxi is needed....but if you are looking for a house in a safe area that allows you to walk to different restaurants, coffee shops, bars do not hesitate to book David's home. You won't regret it!

We were a group of six adults and one child and we stayed for a week. David’s home was lovely and just as pictured inside and out, we especially enjoyed all the landscape lighting that allowed for additional outdoor activity in the evening. All the rooms and restrooms were extremely clean, and there was plenty of open shelving to accommodate all of our belongings. Our group slept well and the blackout curtains were a plus. There are coffee shops, restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies and boutiques all within walking distance. The neighborhood is somewhat rural in flavor, but we are experienced travelers that enjoy the Mexican culture so we were not disappointed. We dined at Hartwood and Arca, (foodie-spendy splurges) and smaller local restaurants, we visited the Tulum ruins, cenotes, lagoons and beaches, there is plenty to do and see. One super surprise was the earthy restaurant “ChenChos” just two doors down which has excellent local cuisine and is a must do!! Go for it!!

We had such a great stay here at David’s home! Lauraine was an amazing host, and really went above and beyond whenever we needed any help. She really made our stay much more relaxing and easy. She offered arrangements for transportation and bike rentals. She was quick to respond if we ever needed anything. The home itself was very comfortable, clean, and cozy. We all love that we had our own bathrooms attached to our bedrooms. There were lots of nice areas and nooks to hang in, so we felt like we could spread out or be together. Just a heads up that it is listed that they have a “hot tub” / “jacuzzi” but it’s just a jacuzzi sized cold pool on the roof. Overall we had an amazing stay and definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy home base while in Tulum! We would definitely stay here again!
