Hi! We’re so happy to hear you enjoyed your stay! Tamarindo is a naturally rustic and rural area, and many of our roads (some of the main ones are still unpaved). Even beachfront homes have dirt roads! It’s part of the charm and simplicity that makes this place so unique. The presence of the mangrove also helps preserve the natural beauty and authenticity of the area, even if it means the roads aren’t always perfect. Pura Vida!

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. I’m assuming this review may be related to the deep cleaning fee I requested after the stay. The house was left in very poor condition and filled with smoke, and when the A/C was turned on, it smelled strongly of weed. Someone smoked weed inside the property, which is illegal in Costa Rica and strictly prohibited in our non-smoking house rules. (tobacco, vapes or weed) I do wish I had known about these concerns during your visit. I reached out several times throughout your 8-night stay &, unfortunately, never received a response. Had you contacted me, I would have gladly assisted right away with anything you needed. Regarding the noise and maintenance you mentioned, the only scheduled service at the property is our pool and garden care, which takes place just 2 a week to ensure the pool stays clean and safe for use. If this was bothersome, I would have happily adjusted the timing had I been informed, but you never answered my messages. We work hard to provide a relaxing and comfortable stay for all guests, and I’m sorry you didn’t allow us to address these matters while you were here. Pura Vida!
