I lived in Playa Del Carmen a few blocks away so getting around was easy. If you have never been to Playa just learn your streets and it is such an easy town to walk. You DO NOT NEED A CAR. This has an amazing view! You are right across the street from Martina Beach club. You have a great rooftop pool. The deck is huge, the nights were breezy, if the lounge chairs had cushions I would have slept outside! Dave was great, he was there when we checked in, showed us around, took us up to the rooftop, introduced us to everyone. It was a great stay!

The place is very nice and has everything you need to have a great time. The host is always attentive to everything We will definitely be back!! Highly recommended.

This is an absolutely beautiful condo with an amazing host. Go to all the places Dave recommends! It is walking distance to everything and there's always a taxi out front should you need it. Amazing view of the Caribbean Sea from the living room and a rooftop pool with inexpensive & fantastic frozen margaritas. We can't wait to come back. I'd give 6 stars if I could!

Had an amazing time at this beach condo! The place was super clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. It’s in the perfect spot—just a short walk to the beach and close enough to quinta avenida, so everything was super convenient. The host, Dave, who checked me in, was fantastic!!! He was super helpful and always quick to respond to any questions, which made the trip so much easier. I definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a relaxing vacation in Playa del carmen. I'd 100% come back!

I had a wonderful 7-day stay in Playa del Carmen! The place was spotless, beautifully maintained, and offered stunning views that made the experience even more memorable. Everything was exactly as described, and the cleanliness truly stood out. I wouldn’t change a thing—highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Amazing view! Better than the pics. Great complex facilities and services. Host was super fast at responding and so friendly. I would go back without hesitation. If you like beautiful areas, the prettiest street in town is a short walk away and everything else you could need isn’t much further. Book it.

We travel to Playa frequently and this was by far our favorite place to stay. The apartment is beautiful and exactly as described. The corner floor to ceiling windows with an incredible view of the water was unreal. The bed was huge and comfortable, the linens divine and the host left great products for use. We don't cook much but the kitchen looked capable. There are just so many incredible places to eat near-by. If you take a right and wander up to 5th you will see an incredible tree lined path, so relaxing. Highly recommend Chez Céline for brunch and Amate 38 for dinner (right around the corner). Martina's Beach Club you can see from the porch and the food and vibe there were spot on. The hosts were crazy responsive and the place was perfection. We will be back!

it was amazing the place was beautiful 😍 the beach was right there beach club restaurants bakery everything the hosts were so great they helped with everything told us where to go and get everything all information we needed so helpful from helping us with grocery stores to what was the best omelet up stairs on the roof top pool kitchen amazing people we'll definitely be back very soon thank you so much for everything beautiful stay!!!

This is our second visit to PDC and this apartment checks all the boxes. Our week long stay was wonderful in every way. The view as soon as you walk into the unit is breathtaking. The apartment is well stocked with necessities to be comfortable for the stay. This location is the best, quick walk to beach and restaurants. The host is super proactive to ensure we have a smooth check in and enjoyed our entire stay. We will definitely be back to PDC and this apartment will definitely be our first choice for accommodation.

Place was spotless and clean and looked just like the photos! Host was very responsive, which I appreciated. Area has a lot of great restaurants nearby and very walkable. The place was well stocked as well with towels and beach chairs. No complaints on the place itself, however, I will note that the nearby beach isn't very swimmable during rainy season due to the overflow sewage that leaks into the ocean.

All great from check-in to checkout. Location is super convenient to 5th Ave, beaches and everything that is quintessential Playa.

Dave’s place was luxury. Amazing view of beach and ocean from the hot tub. Really impressed us, if we are ever in the area again will definitely stay again. Worth every penny.

Awesome views and beautiful penthouse. Everything close by, also rented a car and was able to park in garage everyday. Definitely would stay again.

We had a brilliant 8 day stay at the apartment. It was as it looks in the photos, nice and spacious with a great balcony to relax on, the hot tub was great too. Really good location 2 minutes walk from the beach, loads of great restaurants on 38th street and really close to 5th avenue also. Dave was a great host, very proactive and responsive.

The penthouse is beautiful with some of the best views Playa del Carmen has to offer! The unit features a large balcony and hot tub that we enjoyed each evening. The interior is well laid out with new furniture and ice-cold AC. The owner, Dave, had excellent communication. He was waiting for us at the condo upon arrival and responded immediately to any questions or needs. We will definitely be back!

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. Great view, great amenities, great location. The host was very helpful and responsive with any questions we had. The unit itself was clean and the beds were comfortable. Several delicious restaurants within only a few minutes walking. The pools on the roof were pristine and our two young kids had plenty of area to play plus the food and drinks at the bar were very good. Only a 3 minute walk to the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

I’ve been visiting Cancun/Playa for years and this is by far one of the best places I’ve stayed in. From the moment you walk in, the views are breathtaking. This unit was spotless, had all the amenities needed and was extremely comfortable. The rooftop pools (3 total) were beautiful and provided pure relaxation. Dave was a great host who was friendly, communicative, reliable and provided great recommendations. The location is within a 2 minute walk to many restaurants, bars and beaches. I highly recommend and will certainly be back next time I’m in PDC.

Absolutely stunning property! From the moment we walked in, we didn’t want to leave. Dave was wonderful, he met us at the property and was available for anything until the day we left. The views, the rooftop pool, the deck, the entire space, everything was top notch. Location was close to all the restaurants and beaches. Very very walkable. We are definitely returning!

Dave was an excellent host. He met us at the Condo and checked us in himself. He is so friendly and nice. He is very positive and has a great sense of humour. Always smiling and happy. He was so informative. We stayed for a week at the condo. Went to all the restaurants Dave recommended. The condo was gorgeous and the rooftop pools were great. One was heated which I like and you don't always get in Mexico. Everytime we reached out to Dave he responded right away. First time staying in a condo instead of an all inclusive and my husband and I will not be staying at all inclusives anymore. There is a beatiful grocery store right up the street and everything you could need within walking distance including the beach is like half a block away. We will definately be staying here again. We stay in different parts of Mexico but our stay here made me want to return to Playa del Carmine at his Condo again and soon!

From arrival to departure Dave was an incredible host! The location of the penthouse is within walking distance to everything yet felt far enough away from the busyness to provide a peaceful, relaxing and much need vacation. THE VIEW......can't beat it. The penthouse was spotless, beds were comfy, and the kitchen provided everything we needed to cook breakfast. Pools were amazing! Plenty of chairs and THE VIEW was to die for. Gym was clean and provided enough equipment to get a well rounded workout in. Laundry was easy to schedule. Although we did not use the spa, it was easy to locate and the masseuse was helpful in providing information. We did not eat on property but we had a drink! All the individuals who worked there were extremely helpful and kind. I will be going back!

This place was perfect for our family — we loved the location, the pools, the proximity to the beach. The view is incredible and we had everything we needed for easy outings, beautiful beaches, groceries, and simple cooking. Such a lovely place, and Dave couldn’t have been more responsive and helpful!

Great space, exactly as you see in the photos. Heated pools are somewhat rare in PDC, not always necessary but def nice it have when it gets a little chilly at night. The rooftop pool is awesome and the bar is great.

Can't say enough about the wonderful. place. Hot tub on the deck was a true hot tub and not a cold tub. The view is amazing. Dave was great with communication the whole time. Definitely worth it!

We have been visiting Playa for over 20 years. We love this part of town (around Calle 38 Norte). The restaurant options, access to 5th Ave, access to the beach clubs is awesome. This apartment is perfectly positioned to all these activities and more. The apartment is one floor below the pool/restaurant/amenity deck and gym. Pool is an L-shape with an area that is shallow. Another pool is kept warm-er. Not really a spa temperature but a few degrees warmer than the main pool. A third pool is a "lap" pool. The gym is great and is open early at 7:15AM and is well outfitted. There is a restaurant as well that serves a serviceable breakfast and some lunch choices along with a full bar. The laundry is in the basement and you will call the front desk to reserve a washer and dryer. You just need to bring laundry detergent as the machines are free to use. Everything worked in the apartment. Everything was as described and illustrated. Our host, Dave, was awesome. Great location and amenities.

Amazing apartment in a perfect location: Close to everything: bars, restaurants, beach clubs, beach … but also quiet at night (you can sleep with the windows open and feel the breeze coming thru). Pictures speak by themselves. Dave was easy and quick to communicate with, friendly making us to feel at home since the check in … superhost! so I’d highly recommend it. Thank you!

The place was amazing! Exactly as described. As photos depict. Location was super convenient. Close to everything could walk a few minutes and have many great restaurants, bars, and coffee options. Also very close to the water. Could hear the ocean waves crashing from the balcony. Communication was exceptional. Great advice and recommendations along the way. Exceeding all expectations. Lovely stay and the most amazing oceanfront view! We were very comfortable in the apartment and the location was super walkable to restaurants, grocery and just steps from the beach. We highly recommend this penthouse to anyone looking for a superior view and top notch host!

Peaceful place with beautiful views and lots of fun things to do near by. The host was very responsive and friendly. Loved it.

Our stay was great we stayed for 3 nights, the condo felt like home, cozy clean, comfortable clean beds. Dave was nice enough to check us in personally to show us how to use the electronic key. The living room itself lets in SOOO much sunlight into the living room. The rooftop pool and gym is top notch which offers decent breakfast at the bar near the pool. The jacuzzi in the rooftop is luke warm but that’s up to building management. I hope to be back. Thanks Dave!

We had an amazing stay and enjoyed the amazing views from our private terrace. The beach was across the street and we had so many restaurants near by. The gym, pool and spa were a definite plus. Very responsive host. Will book again!

Our experience was truly Amazing! The panoramic view from our condo and terrace was breathtaking. The pool area has 3 separate pools including adults only area. Dave and Valdivina, our gracious hosts, exceeded all expectations and provided us with great options for tours and activities. They always responded quickly to any questions we had. We had a fabulous stay. This building has it all. 3 rooftop pools with ocean views, restaurant, bar, gym and spa. The PH unit has a huge wrap around terrace that provides space for every room in the condo. We enjoyed our nights in the private hot tub overlooking the ocean. We could walk to several restaurants around the corner, shopping on 5th avenue and being across from 3 beach access points was also super convenient.  Amazing host and co host..... Responded right away to any questions we had.

This is an amazing PH unit. The rooftop has the best ocean views from any of the 3 pools. We spent our nights on the huge wrap around terrace enjoying the ocean views. The breakfast room service was a huge treat. This is better than any hotel stay we have had. We will definitely book again!

This was my first experience renting an AirBnB and it was excellent. The property is beautiful and the building has amazing amenities! Everything matched the listing description. The hosts were excellent throughout the process, and very responsive with the communications. I would recommend the property and the hosts highly, thank you!

The penthouse is amazing and a very relaxing place to stay. It was very clean and organized. The location is across from the beach and very close to all the restaurants on 38 street. 5th Avenue is also 2 blocks away where it was super fun to shop and bar hop. I highly recommend the place.

Our stay was an absolute delight, and I can't praise the building's amenities enough. Our private terrace had an amazing jacuzzi with ocean views! Nothing can beat having a glass of wine and staring at the ocean. The morning sunrises are incredible also! The building has amazing amenities. It has 3 rooftop pools with amazing ocean views, gym, restaurant, bar and a spa. We were also able to park our rental car in the underground garage for free. We loved the fact we could walk outside the front door and be on the beach in 2 minutes and there are so many restaurant choices it is overwhelming. This will not be our last trip to Playa del Carmen. We will definitely be booking this place again!

This is the nicest property we have stayed at in Playa Del Carmen. It is across from 3 beach entrances making it easy to access the beach every day. The location provided us easy access to a so many amazing restaurants on Calle 38 and 5th avenue. The Host and the Co Host, were very responsive and Dave lives in Playa and helped us out with anything we needed- recommendations and tours! The private terrace Jacuzzi was such an amazing touch! We will definitely book again.

My stay at this 2-bedroom ocean-view penthouse was amazing. The penthouse and building is immaculate, with every amenity one could wish for. The hosts were incredibly responsive and accommodating! I must also commend the location, which was conveniently close to local attractions and restaurants. Whether it was lounging on the private balcony or taking a short walk to the beach, every moment was filled with enjoyment. I can't recommend this Airbnb enough. It's a hidden gem, and I look forward to returning for another unforgettable stay.
