Lisa was an amazing host. Very warm and welcoming. Upon arrival she was friendly and even baked us banana bread and had fresh cut pineapples for us. She showed us a map and recommended local areas. The rental is attached to her home, so it feels like you are renting a private section of a home with a separate exit, similar to having a neighbor. She was always friendly when we saw her. The place looks just like the photos. The room is like a studio apartment with a mini fridge, sink, coffee maker, and dishes but no kitchen. The pool area is gorgeous with an ocean view. It is a gated community on a mountaintop with security. Closest stores are in Playa Hermosa. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is large, and the TV is about 32 inches. The shower water does not get very hot but that was fine given the climate. We did experience a significant ant issue on the final day which affected comfort. Lisa was very apologetic and mentioned the property is exterminated yearly. Thank you Lisa!

Lisa’s place was phenomenal! For the price and for the experience of staying in a Costa Rican community — five stars. Every morning I started my day taking a gorgeous neighborhood walk, saludando a los vecinos, and even playing with the neighborhood dogs! 🐶 The guards were some of the kindest people we met and at the end of our short stay it felt like we were saying goodbye to friends. We came for a wedding at El Mangroove and it was the easiest drive to and from! Plus Lisa was the kindest host we’ve ever had. Thank you Lisa and thank you Vistas del Pacifico!
