3BR Villa in Todos Santos

María

Excellent, 3 weeks ago

We had a great weekend. The house was very comfortable and pleasant, and the hosts were very friendly and attentive to anything 🙂 We will definitely return

Fantastic stay in Todos Santos. The home is spacious, stylish, and very comfortable for a group. We loved the swimming pool, the AC in every room (huge plus), and the sauna, which was a great extra touch. The rooftop is awesome and perfect for relaxing. The location is great and convenient to everything with a short drive. Getting to the property is a bit off-road, but that’s to be expected for the area, just come prepared. Overall, a great experience and a place we’d happily stay at again.

The place is big, and the pool was nice. Please note that you have to go up a few stairs since the parking spot is located below the house. Our main concern was that the place didn’t feel very clean. For the amount they charge in cleaning fees, they really need to step it up.

Host Response

Hi Cindy, Thank you so much for your feedback we’re really glad you enjoyed the size of the house and the pool! We’re very sorry to hear that the cleanliness didn’t meet your expectations. We always strive to provide a spotless space for our guests, so it’s truly helpful to know when something falls short. If you had let us know during your stay, we would have gladly sent someone over right away to re-clean any area, especially the bathroom your comfort is our priority. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts, and we’ll make sure to keep working on improving every detail. Warm regards, Lu.

The place is exactly as described — spacious enough for everyone to enjoy their time, and equipped with everything you need in a house. We truly enjoyed our stay. To make it perfect, I would suggest: • Replacing the bathroom towels, as they look a bit old. • Addressing an occasional smell from the pipes that sometimes spreads from the bathrooms into the house. • Cleaning the shower heads. • Fixing the water drainage in the master bedroom shower. The rest was great and we enjoy our time :)

This lovely home outshined its photos and reviews. We were thrilled from the second we walked in the door to the moment we left. The hosts were responsive and helpful. The house was spotless but welcoming. The grounds were beautiful. The pool was fabulous. We paid a little extra to have it heated (mid March) and it was worth it. We spent a lot of time in the outdoor areas. If we come back to Todos Santos we would definitely stay again!

The place is a little hard to find if you’re unfamiliar with the area, but that road that looks like it shouldn’t be the right one actually is, Google knows exactly where to go. This house is spectacular, the store(s) that are a 5 minute walk from the front door have every possible thing you could need! Beer! Shrimp! Pastries! Bread! Produce! The views are PERFECT, and the house keeps itself very nice and cool because of its solid concrete construction. The rooftop patio is the berfect place to hang out after sunset, and the pool is the best place to spend the entire day! We were here in January and the pool was at the perfect temperature all day without extra heat. I really can’t say enough good things about this house, the town, the beaches, and the hosts, who are very kind and respectful and quick to reply with local recommendations. Thanks for everything!

This house is a lot of good things-spa like pool, great roof, sunny location, open layout and well equipped kitchen, but the things that we did not like affected our stay. Master shower is a very poor design that gets water everywhere and is hard to regulate. Looks nice but doesn't work. The bed in the master is small and uncomfortable-maybe a full size? The concrete around the pool and in the house and on the patio is VERY slippery. I would consider it dangerous. There is zero room for storage in the 2nd and 3rd bedroom, The location is decent but not close enough to the beach or town. The landscape is pretty but extremely sharp, i can not imagine having young kids running around in the yard without them getting poked-especially the large round tree/bush near the pool. The seating in the living room is very uncomfortable, hard to relax. This house is aesthetically pleasing but functionally leaves something to be desired. Kenny is awesome but we would not return.

We really felt like a luxury and would come back without thinking about it. The experience of living, even if it was only 2 days, was wonderful here. The house is super comfortable, super mattresses and showers! The outdoor space with its beautiful and manicured plants filled us the soul. The pool was ideal. We don't use the TVs or the grill, nor the children's games, but it's a super plus for those who occupy them.

This was a perfect house for 5 adults! Just outside of town, which allowed for quiet surroundings and beautiful views. Easy to get into town via car and wonderful bakery nearby. The outside area of this home (pool, deck) are the best. We would definitely come back! The one downside was there are no closets or dressers for unpacking clothes in 2 of the 3 bedrooms, which makes it hard to live out of a suitcase. Otherwise, we don’t have any constructive feedback!

This was our second time at Villa Serena. We love it here. It’s a beautiful house and property. We look forward to visiting again!

David’s beautiful home in Todos Santos was an amazing stay for my family of 5 adults and a toddler. There was plenty of space to spread out in the house. The outdoor spaces were exceptional. We loved the pool, the outdoor kitchen and the rooftop patio with the hammocks, fireplace, exercise area and view of the ocean. Our grandchild also loved the trampoline and the play area. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. It is a quick walk to a couple of restaurants and a market for basics. “Downtown” Todos Santos is a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute drive. There are tons of great restaurants and neat boutiques, galleries and traditional Mexican marketplaces tucked into various nooks and crannies in town. Beaches are awesome! The modern cemetery was a super-interesting spot to wander, not something everyone would be interested in, but fascinating for a look at Mexican culture around family and death. There is also a historic cemetery, but sadly it has not been well maintained.

This place is incredible. Even better than the listings.

This is a really fantastic place to stay as a family. Our two boys loved the pool and were thrilled to have their own bedroom and bathroom for once. The photos of the property match reality perfectly. The fish taco place down the hill mentioned by others was excellent as were all the food recommendations provided by Kenny, who checked us in. The location is outside of walking distance to the Centro, which initially concerned me, but at least during our stay it was so hot we didn’t really want to walk too far anyway. It’s easy to drive and park in town and at beaches. We’d absolutely stay again.

Wonderful home and hosts! Absolutely gorgeously designed, each space was stylish and thoughtful & functional, our family of three enjoyed the fully furnished kitchen, night swimming in the pool, stargazing from the rooftop deck…really outstanding home. Location is sweet, just outside of downtown, walkable to delicious restaurants and quick drive to the beach for perfect sunsets! Our caretaker, Kenny took such great care of us and was always quick to respond to every question & request.

Had a great stay here. It’s a beautiful house. Also, the best fish burrito at Pacifica Fish Market is just down the street. Highly recommend!

Lovely home with great amenities for our young family. Our kids adored the pool and trampoline. We adored the great restaurants nearby (tacos and margaritas at Pacifica Fish Market and coffee/breakfast at La Esquina were highlights). The hosts were helpful and responsive.

If you stay here you are staying for the house amenities. The outdoor spaces and flow from the living room are incredible. It’s quiet and peaceful. It’s not really walkable to town, so a car is recommended. We preferred the area due to its country feel and where a lot of more casual restaurants are.

The house is beautiful and the views from the roof are fantastic. Everything was clean and comfortable, actually wish I had more downtime to just relax there! The house is in a developing area, so the roads are dirt roads, would recommend renting an SUV, and it would be pretty hard to get around if you don’t rent a car.

This place is one of a kind. The property is stunning inside and out. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought and care into every part of the house. The pictures don’t do justice to the beauty and design of the place. Very open, minimal, modern, and comfortable. From the outdoor space with a nice pool, outdoor kitchen (which we didn’t use unfortunately) to a beautiful terrace. And the indoors was equally nice with minimalistic, modern furniture. The bed was very comfortable. Just 10 out of 10 in every respect. And the property manager, Kenny, was super responsive. We had a slight challenging locating the place on maps but Kenny navigated us to the house through chat. And Todos Santos is a special place with great restaurants and things to do. We hope to be back some day!

This place is beautiful, very well designed. They really go above and beyond in the aesthetic of the place, it really feels like you’re in an oasis. My only critique was that the living room didn’t have an AC unit. The posting says the Airbnb is for 6 people - only if one person sleeps on the couch. Unfortunately the hot climate makes the living room a bit unbearable to sleep in. I’d recommend getting an AC for that room or dropping the capacity limit down to 5. Besides that we enjoyed our stay.
