A more than pleasant family stay. Liliana is always attentive, helpful and very kind.

It is a huge house, we spent the end of the year in this house and without a problem we were able to dine more than 30 people and stay 16, the place is very central, good to get to know the city at any time. The house does not have its own parking, but there is a place to leave the car on the street and nearby parking lots (block and a half or two blocks). Liliana was always attentive to us and gave us very precise instructions, there was no doubt at the time of receiving the house, in addition to the fact that there was always communication on the cell phone. Highly recommended, if you are thinking of staying in Qro with a large group, this is a great option.

The house is very spacious and has an excellent location - walking distance to all the sights in Queretaro centro. We rented the whole house for a family reunion and we had more than enough rooms for everyone to settle in comfortably. The house is also charming with a very mexican traditional style. The common areas were also spacious and well kept. In general great value for money given the size and location of the house. Liliana was very accommodating and responsive to our requests in a timely manner. A couple of notes: the kitchen is upstairs so if you have limited mobility and plan to use this facility it may be something you want to take into account. Also, not all rooms have toilets but we found it was way easier to just use the common facilities on each floor for showering as some of the in room showers had low water pressure. Overall highly recommended for family gatherings and would also consider it for individual stays.

This is one of those rare Airbnbs that’s even better than the pictures suggest. It’s peaceful, picturesque, clean, spacious and well maintained. The fountain in the courtyard and the abundance of greenery throughout make it a perfect place for socialising, relaxing, reading a book, or drinking a beer in the evening. It’s cool during the middle of the day, and the location is almost perfect, being close to countless little shops and restaurants, and relatively close to the main market. If you are coming to Queretaro with a large group of friends, family or work colleagues like we were, then the place could be just what you're after. The high-ceiling rooms are private and spacious, but the communal spaces encourage socialising. The property itself is exceptionally well maintained, with high quality fittings and almost none of those annoying little maintenance problems you get with Airbnbs. The water pressure is good, with abundant solar hot water! Lilliana herself is a faultless host, who clearly keeps high standards for herself and her family’s property. She understands the importance of giving guests space and privacy, but is instantly responsive when you have a request. As an example, we enquired on one occasion about whether the house had a sun umbrella for the courtyard, and she immediately offered to go out and purchase one. We told her that it wasn’t necessary, but she insisted and returned shortly after with not only an umbrella, but three sun lounges and two small drinks tables! We stayed in many Airbnbs throughout Mexico, and this one was the best for our needs without question.

Very comfortable and nice home. Great location. Very clean and very thoughtful attention from Liliana. A very good choice.

This is the first time I have to write a review like this. I never had any experience like this one. Unfortunately, the place is overpriced for what it is. There’s better options with much higher quality housing around the same price, unfortunately those book fast. The beds were full of hairs, they justify that the laundry service sends them back like that, I believe there’s no justification. The bedspread have odors. The installations are way below standard, there are 2 rooms with “portable like” toilet, with no privacy. The shower drain was full of hair when we checked in I sent a picture, Liliana answered back that, that was not there when they cleaned... Anyway, there’s tons of hotels with better prices. There’s no parking on premises and parking is around 15 dls a day. I can positively say, she responds quick and that the house is in a great spot.

Great place at a great location. Only draw back was parking, but was likely worsened due to the holidays and services at Temple nearby. Liliana was an excellent host, responsive and attentive. She was helpful with tips as we planned our trip and during our stay.

Liliana is a TERRIFIC host and this house is simply beautiful and located in a prime spot in Queretaro! A bunch of family members and I rented the house while in town for a wedding. We expected this to be a fabulous experience but it far exceeded our already high expectations. The host is incredibly responsive and attentive. She was able to set us up with catering and hair/makeup there at the house which made our stay even more convenient and comfortable. I was pretty hesitant about being out and about in Mexico but I can tell you with that I felt comfortable in the area both day and night. The house is located in the historic downtown so it's a very lively scene! The home's patio has a beautiful bougainvillea tree and milkweed with monarch caterpillars and butterflies fluttering around. The view from the second story is breathtaking. I can't say enough about our stay, this home, the host or the city. Thank you, Liliana for an unforgettable stay!

An excellent weekend. The location of the house is unbeatable, the price is very affordable for large groups. It has all the amenities, an incredible view and great attention from Liliana.

What a GEM in the center of BEAUTIFUL QUERETARO!! This is truly a magnificent house to stay in. I stayed at Liliana's gorgeous house with 19 of my friends during my wedding weekend in Mexico. I truly could not have asked for anything more. This place has it all. An incredible location close to EVERYTHING in the centro, beautiful views, clean and comfortable rooms and beds and the sweetest host. I felt so bad because we accidentally broke a shower head- she was so understanding with the situation- just an awesome person! Best experience ever. We will definitely be staying here again!

Great location and beautiful place

The experience was very good. Excellent service from Liliana and an excellent place. We had the opportunity to rent the entire place for a weekend, and it was an excellent choice. However, I think renting just a room or two could also be an excellent option. The place is located very close to downtown, and there are excellent dining options just one or two blocks away. Liliana's recommendations for food were also excellent. Thank you so much for your attention. I highly recommend this place and the host.

The house has a great location, in the historic center of Queretaro, a few minutes from the main square. The courtyard with bougainvillea is typical of old Mexican houses. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need to have a pleasant stay. Due to the size of our group, we had access to the kitchenette. The small refrigerator and having some utensils are very convenient, and above all, the table and chairs where we could spend time together. Liliana is very friendly and helpful; we had good communication. Thank you for everything!

We loved staying at Liliana's house. It is just as described in the photos and very well located to discover Querétaro. Everything was very clean, the rooms are very spacious, the kitchen is very well equipped and the hot water is obtained through solar heaters, which we loved. Liliana was very available and helpful. We had a problem with the light that he immediately tried to fix. Definitely a highly recommended place

It is a nice place to stay since it is very close to city buses or if you wish you can just walk around. plazas and good places to eat are around the corner. bathroom, kitchenette and room were clean. I would not recommend it only if you can't tolerate noise and really want silence at bedtime. It makes sense since it is downtown and since you have to sleep with the balcony open due to the lack of ac or fan in the room you will hear people yelling or laughing. As a recommendation I suggest the light by the stairs gets taken care of since it goes on and off plus that is the only light you find "on" which makes it hard to walk around at night . The main entrance is also very dark at night, be careful with the steps. liliana is a nice person she gives you a set of keys so you may go in and out as much as you like. I would only suggest a little more communication with guests maybe just to make sure everything is ok...even though we were chatting and making arrangements on my last night as of where I would leave the keys and my last question was if she knew where I could exchange USD since I needed pesos for the early taxi I needed to take and she just didn't reply. Having more contact with your guests would also reduce the risk of getting "robbed" and not send messages to guests asking if they saw or took a pillow from another room.

Host Response

Celeste, thank you so much for your suggestions. I will take them all into account. About your message about the exchange USD, unfortunately I didn´t receive it, that´s why I didn´t reply. I´m sorry about that. In respect to the lights, there´s a light at the main entrance and in both corridors (1st & 2nd floor), probably the other guests turned them off when they went out. I´m sorry about this I didn´t know that you have these troubles . Thank´s again for all this valuable information. I wish you the best.

We loved staying at Liliana's place! It was in a perfect location, just a short walk to many fun things - restaurants, coffee shops, historic locations, beautiful churches. We enjoyed the great view and sitting on the terrace each morning and evening. Having a little kitchen was also great. Liliana was very kind and a great host. She gave us info about where we could enjoy good live music. She also made herself available if we needed anything. We look forward to another stay!

Great experience, beautiful, spacious rooms, just as seen in the photos. Great location, within walking distance of downtown attractions. Liliana is very kind; we saw her only a few times, but she was always in communication via cell phone. If you don't mind sharing the bathrooms with the other rooms, it's great value for money and in a great location. Just a few details in the bathrooms, which, from what we saw on our last day of our stay, are being addressed.

Liliana made us feel welcome from the beginning. She was quick to respond to all of our questions leading up to our stay and greeted us upon arrival to make sure we were comfortable and well-situated. The hacienda quickly stood out from past Air BnB experiences because everything, while rustic, was noticeably clean and well taken care of. Our room had all of the essentials and was incredibly spacious (we needed the extra space for our rather messy unpacking job). The keys to get in and out of the house were a bit particular but once we got the hang of it it was a breeze. In terms of location, we couldn't have asked for a better rental. This was quite literally a two minute walk to multiple plazas and the hippest part of town. There was a ton of nightlife a mere block away but we were also pretty impressed by how quiet the house was. All in all, this was a wonderful experience and we'd recommend it to anyone looking for clean, safe and simple lodging in the heart of historic Queretaro.

This is a fabulous house, and we had a wonderful stay in Queretaro! We're a family of eight (kids are 16, 14, 12, 10, 4 and 1) and the house was perfect for our week in this lovely colonial city. The central squares with lots of activities were very close walking distance. Lots of restaurants and stores and beautiful places to stroll. There's a laundry (lavanderia) just a block away and just about everything else you could need is within a five minute walk. Liliana was an exceptionally gracious host. She made sure we had everything we needed, including a crib and high chair for the baby. She helped us find the perfect place to park, about two blocks away. We could not have asked for a better stay! A previous reviewer mentioned taking showers in the afternoon because the hot water heater is solar powered, but we--all of us--took showers in the early morning (in February, no less) and the water was plenty hot! Great city to visit and the best house in QRO you can find, I am sure.

My family and I stayed at this amazing property. Liliana our host was amazing. Very warm, caring and professional. The location is within walking distance of so many historic places and shops and restaurants. Not all the facilities have access to a kitchen. But there are restaurants literally around the corner offering great food at very affordable prices. Overall a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back again. We highly recommend this place.

Liliana was very kind. She always answered our questions, and in a very short time. The house is very large and has a very nice view of Queretaro. The location couldn't be better! So you can walk around the entire city center with peace of mind. You are steps away from downtown and great restaurants, and one block away from the famous Corral de Comedias. The room was very clean, there was good internet access, and the house patio was also very comfortable and quiet. We forgot something, and Liliana very kindly answered our messages, and we will arrange for her to send it to us.

Liliana is a very polite and friendly host. My family and I occupied 4 rooms of the house, we were the only ones there which was nice. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Two of them had toilet and shower in the room and the others had to use a common bathroom. The property is in a prime location that allows for easy walking to the main plazas in the city, and plenty of shops and restaurants in the blocks around. It is a bit noisy at night because you are after all in the city center, so if you are a light sleeper you might need earplugs. The house is being renovated and is almost finished. The showers were clean, I would just recommend that they fix the water pressure in order to have a nice shower in the morning. It is important to note that the property uses solar panels to heat the water, therefore they recommend showering when the panels have been exposed to the sun for a while. We all showered between 8:30 and 9:00 in the morning and had warm water. Good for travelers looking for clean spacious rooms and don't mind sharing bathrooms.
