Although the road was a bit complicated because of the rain, the stay and the view were totally worth it. Perla is an excellent host, she was attentive at all times and answered any questions super fast

the beautiful lagoon The accommodation is far from the town of Bacalar. second floor for the rooms. the impractical staircase. the incomplete kitchen key. A great place to rest. A beautiful view

Ok house on the lagoon, could definitely use some updates. The outside is beautiful but the trees cut the view of most of the lagoon. The inside needs work but is comfortable enough for a few nights. We did feel a bit rushed when we left as the ground keepers wife waited for us to walk out at 10:30 when we weren't exactly ready.

Definitely a wonderful place with a wonderful view. We would have loved to enjoy the Laguna more, we needed one more day. Perla's care of the most kind and always attentive to us. Thank you very much for the stay, a highly recommended place!!!! Thank you !!!

It is a comfortable place, comfortable with everything you need, to have a good time. It has access to the Laguna ,chio if you want a luxurious place is not for you It is super well, by reason of quality, price and attention: Monica and Mariana are extremely attentive and resolve immediately. Thank you for your kindness, we are certainly invited to come back.

The place is clean, nice, and with incredible access to the lagoon. Heriberto's attention who is in charge of the property and lives a few meters from it was excellent. Perla kindly got us a person who took care of going for us to the airport, I take us grocery shopping and took us to the property. My mom traveled with us, she is a senior person who is difficult to climb steps so we were supported to condition the room as a bedroom for her, it was very practical since it had a bathroom a few steps from her bed. We made roast meat, they have a charcoal grill and picnic area with a beautiful view of the lagoon , it was very nice to spend the nights dining there or else, have coffee and a rich breakfast some days. The kitchen has everything you need, I just suggest you can add microwaves. Downtown Bacalar is only 10 minutes away. Overall we had a great time!!

It is very worth it. it is a beautiful place. I would definitely stay in that beautiful house with access to the lagoon. I only suggest you bring acualetas as there are many piritas

The place matches the photos and description of the listing. Access to the accommodation is slow as the road is cobblestone. The facilities are fine but the stairs are rusty and narrow, dangerous for children and older adults or people with mobility problems, the bathroom downstairs ran out of water the toilet, however Mrs. Patricia's husband took care of the problem. As for the attention of Mrs. Patricia and her husband, everything was excellent, always attentive and willing to help. I recommend the place but if it would be good to consider that if they go with older adults or children the staircase is quite uncomfortable.

Beautiful site, access to the lagoon is private , having a natural pool at your feet is magnificent. - As every natural area access is an unpaved path but easy to find and drive is only 1km of stony road. - The clean, simple and beautiful house, functional bathrooms and the A/A rooms that are upstairs (to climb is a narrow spiral staircase, if you have a consideralo mobility condition). - There is a very friendly couple and Mariana and Heriberto are always available. - Go with sufficient food as the village is 20 minutes away . We will definitely come back. Thank you !

The place has a spectacular view of the Bacalar Lagoon. And the facilities match the photos. Perla answered my doubts and is accessible. I'll definitely be back.

Thank you Perla and Mariana! Our group of 6 was thoroughly satisfied with our stay. The listing is as described and had everything we needed for one night in Bacalar. We didn’t spend much time at the property, but we did enjoy the direct access to the Laguna Bacalar, the relaxing outdoor chairs and the deck upstairs. We felt safe, comfortable and would stay again!

The house is as shown in the pictures but the landscape is much more beautiful than the pictures reflect. The people who take care of the house are super attentive and kind. We would gladly return to that paradise. Thank you Perla

The instructions given to get to the house were easy. However, the road to the house is not great and I would recommend a 4x4 or higher SUV vehicle. The furniture is outside furniture and not very comfortable. There is a spiral staircase to get upstairs and may be difficult for some people (dangerous and rusty). There was also dog pooh in the backyard that we requested be picked up and it wasn't done for the period we were there. There are 2 windows in one of the upstairs bedrooms that don't have curtains and have a security light shining in at night (not great for sleep). The screens are not in great shape and the front screen door doesn't shut. The caretakers are very nice and on the property if you do need anything. Finally, if you work remotely don't expect to get much work done as the internet is slow and the WIFI goes out all the time.

It's worth it, it's outside the center but the place is worth it, the area, the Lagoon is like a private pool, the beds are comfortable, everything is clean, you just need to go well equipped in case you don't want to go out shopping and you can spend a couple of days to fully enjoy the place, I would definitely rent it again
